  • Sep 26, 2026Hugo versions from v0.161.0 through v0.165.0 run Node.js tools (css.PostCSS, css.TailwindCSS, js.Babel) under the Node.js permission model to restrict file systCVE-2026-100690 · Other software · gohugoio · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

Hugo versions from v0.161.0 through v0.165.0 run Node.js tools (css.PostCSS, css.TailwindCSS, js.Babel) under the Node.js permission model to restrict file system reads to the project directory and configured mounts. Because the Node.js permission model validates only the lexical path and follows symbolic links that point outside the allowed set, Hugo did not detect symlinks escaping the sandbox. An attacker who can contribute content to a Hugo project (for example via a pull request) can commit a symlink such as assets/css/x.css -> /etc/passwd together with a PostCSS plugin that reads it, allowing any file readable by the Hugo build process to be disclosed and potentially embedded in the published site. This affects builds using the default security configuration; projects that do not invoke Node.js tools are unaffected. Fixed in v0.166.0, which scans allowed paths and fails the build when a symbolic link resolves outside them.

  • Sep 26, 2026Budibase versions 3.41.0 before 3.45.0 contain an authentication bypass in the OIDC/SSO login path of @budibase/server.CVE-2026-100684 · Other software · budibase · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2

Budibase versions 3.41.0 before 3.45.0 contain an authentication bypass in the OIDC/SSO login path of @budibase/server. In sso.authenticate, when no existing user matches the incoming SSO subject, the server looks up pending user invites by the IdP-asserted email address alone — without validating an invite code and without an email_verified check (the email_verified gate protects only the existing-account lookup). An attacker who can register at an IdP that the tenant trusts for OIDC and assert a victim's invited email address (even with email_verified=false) claims the pending invite and inherits all of its granted privileges, including builder and admin.global, with no admin exclusion. This results in takeover of the invited principal and, for admin invites, full tenant compromise (access to all apps, datasources including production credentials, and automations); the invite is consumed, denying onboarding to the legitimate invitee.

  • Sep 26, 2026The Grav Data Manager plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-datamanager) versions 1.0.1 through 1.4.4 render stored data entries in the item-detail view (admin/templates/CVE-2026-100673 · Other software · getgrav · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.4

The Grav Data Manager plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-datamanager) versions 1.0.1 through 1.4.4 render stored data entries in the item-detail view (admin/templates/partials/item.html.twig) without escaping, applying Twig's `raw` filter — in some cases after a striptags('<br>') call that PHP's strip_tags() bypasses by preserving allowed tags together with their attributes. An unauthenticated visitor who submits a front-end form whose submissions are saved to user/data can store an HTML payload that executes as JavaScript in the session and origin of an administrator who later opens that entry in the classic admin panel, running with that administrator's privileges and CSRF token. Execution occurs without further interaction for list values (such as checkbox or multi-select fields) and on hover for ordinary text fields. Sites using the Grav 2.0 Admin Next interface are not affected, because it renders the same data through a separate, correctly escaping code path. The issue is fixed in Data Manager 1.4.5.

  • Sep 26, 2026Capgo (capgo.app) through version 12.261.0 contains an incomplete access-control fix for the public.sso_providers table.CVE-2026-100612 · Other software · Cap-go · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.6

Capgo (capgo.app) through version 12.261.0 contains an incomplete access-control fix for the public.sso_providers table. Migration 20260826100000_sso_providers_block_direct_active_insert.sql installs a BEFORE UPDATE guard (enforce_sso_provider_client_update_guard()) that freezes only the dns_verified_at, domain, status and enforce_sso columns; provider_id (as well as metadata_url and attribute_mapping) is left writable. Because the table is granted ALL to the anon and authenticated roles with no column-level restriction, and PostgreSQL row-level security policies such as allow_org_admins_update_sso_providers constrain only which row may be updated and not which columns, a user holding the org_admin tier permission org.update_settings can PATCH provider_id over PostgREST to an identity provider under their control. Since provider_id is the trust anchor binding an email domain to an authorized IdP, the attacker can then authenticate through their own IdP while asserting the org owner's email; the server-side provider match succeeds and the merge routine attaches the attacker's SSO identity to the existing owner account, nulls its password, and deletes its other identities and session

  • Sep 26, 2026Capgo (capgo.app backend, versions ≤ 12.261.0) improperly restricts which roles the apikey_manager organization role may bind to newly created API keys.CVE-2026-100611 · Other software · Cap-go · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1

Capgo (capgo.app backend, versions ≤ 12.261.0) improperly restricts which roles the apikey_manager organization role may bind to newly created API keys. When an authenticated user holding only apikey_manager (permissions org.manage_apikeys and org.read) calls POST /apikey with a JWT session, the only checks applied are the org.manage_apikeys permission, a fixed deny-list of assignable role names (APIKEY_MANAGER_DENIED_ASSIGNABLE_ROLES in public/apikey/scope.ts), and a priority-rank comparison in createRoleBindingForPrincipal (private/role_bindings.ts). No check verifies that the caller actually holds the permissions conferred by the role being assigned. Because the deny-list omits the deploy roles app_developer, app_uploader, channel_developer and channel_uploader, and apikey_manager is seeded with priority_rank 78 — higher than those roles' ranks (68, 66, 58, 57) — the rank check also passes. As a result, an apikey_manager who cannot upload bundles or promote channels can mint an API key bound to a deploy role and use it to push arbitrary OTA JavaScript updates to all end users of the organization's apps. As of the advisory publication no patched version was available.

  • Sep 24, 2026IO::Socket::SSL::SelfCertificate versions 1.00 for Perl contains malware which executes Python code from an obfuscated URL.CVE-2026-97230 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.8

IO::Socket::SSL::SelfCertificate versions 1.00 for Perl contains malware which executes Python code from an obfuscated URL. The generate_certificate runs a Python script saved as a certificate file. The pyhton script attempts to retrieve code from a hardcoded http URL that is obfuscated with base64 encoding and run the response body directly. The impact is that arbitrary code can be invoked as the user, without a dropped script being saved on the affected host. The releases have no test scripts nor build hooks. The intention may have been to trigger the payload after installation. The dropper script is in lib/Crypt/SelfCertificate/sample/cert.pem. This is similar to CVE-2026-95831 for the module Crypt::SelfCertificate. nDPI 5.1.0 contains a memory access issue in the DNS dissector and serializer deserialization code. Specially crafted network input can cause byte-buffer addresses at odd offsets to be cast to uint16_t or wider integer pointers and directly dereferenced without alignment checks. Joomla Extension - joomshaper.com - Missing CSRF Token Verification across Administrator AJAX API Endpoints in Easy Store extension 1.0.0-3.0.0 - The administrator ApiController only validated CSRF tokens inside the products() action. All other administrative AJAX endpoints (orders, coupons, media, customers, settings, tags, categories, reviews, and collections) accepted state-changing requests without checking anti-CSRF tokens. An attacker could trick a logged-in administrator into triggering unauthorized state modifications across the store backend. Resolved by implementing global CSRF verification in ApiController::execute() for all state-changing HTTP methods (POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE) via Session::checkToken().

Joomla Extension - joomshaper.com - Unauthenticated PII Exposure via IDOR in Guest Checkout in Easy Store extension 1.0.0-3.0.0 - The checkout.searchGuestUser endpoint allowed querying guest checkout records solely by supplying an email address. The server returned complete shipping details (full name, phone number, street address, city, postal code, and country) directly from the #__easystore_guests table with no authentication, session validation, or ownership checks. An unauthenticated attacker could iterate through email lists to enumerate guest customers and harvest sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Resolved by removing the unauthenticated server-side guest lookup endpoint entirely and migrating autofill functionality to client-side localStorage protected by explicit user consent.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
