OpenClaw before 2026.3.22 fails to enforce controlScope restrictions on the send action, allowing leaf subagents to message controlled child sessions beyond their authorized scope. Attackers can exploit this by using the send action to communicate with child sessions without proper scope validation, bypassing intended access control restrictions.

  • Apr 10, 2026OpenClaw before 2026.3.24 contains missing authorization vulnerabilities in the /send and /allowlist chat command handlers.CVE-2026-35620 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3

OpenClaw before 2026.3.24 contains missing authorization vulnerabilities in the /send and /allowlist chat command handlers. The /send command allows non-owner command-authorized senders to change owner-only session delivery policy settings, and the /allowlist mutating commands fail to enforce operator.admin scope. Attackers with operator.write scope can invoke /send on|off|inherit to persistently mutate the current session's sendPolicy, and execute /allowlist add commands to modify config-backed allowFrom entries and pairing-store allowlist entries without proper admin authorization.

  • Apr 8, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: atm: fix crash due to unvalidated vcc pointer in sigd_send() Reproducer available at CVE-2026-31411 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: atm: fix crash due to unvalidated vcc pointer in sigd_send() Reproducer available at [1]. The ATM send path (sendmsg -> vcc_sendmsg -> sigd_send) reads the vcc pointer from msg->vcc and uses it directly without any validation. This pointer comes from userspace via sendmsg() and can be arbitrarily forged: int fd = socket(AF_ATMSVC, SOCK_DGRAM, 0); ioctl(fd, ATMSIGD_CTRL); // become ATM signaling daemon struct msghdr msg = { .msg_iov = &iov, ... }; *(unsigned long *)(buf + 4) = 0xdeadbeef; // fake vcc pointer sendmsg(fd, &msg, 0); // kernel dereferences 0xdeadbeef In normal operation, the kernel sends the vcc pointer to the signaling daemon via sigd_enq() when processing operations like connect(), bind(), or listen(). The daemon is expected to return the same pointer when responding. However, a malicious daemon can send arbitrary pointer values. Fix this by introducing find_get_vcc() which validates the pointer by searching through vcc_hash (similar to how sigd_close() iterates over all VCCs), and acquires a reference via sock_hold() if found. Since struct atm_vcc embeds struct sock

  • Apr 7, 2026Issue summary: Applications using RSASVE key encapsulation to establish a secret encryption key can send contents of an uninitialized memory buffer to a malicioCVE-2026-31790 · Websites & servers · OpenSSL · reported by openssl-security@openssl.orgHigh 7.5

Issue summary: Applications using RSASVE key encapsulation to establish a secret encryption key can send contents of an uninitialized memory buffer to a malicious peer. Impact summary: The uninitialized buffer might contain sensitive data from the previous execution of the application process which leads to sensitive data leakage to an attacker. RSA_public_encrypt() returns the number of bytes written on success and -1 on error. The affected code tests only whether the return value is non-zero. As a result, if RSA encryption fails, encapsulation can still return success to the caller, set the output lengths, and leave the caller to use the contents of the ciphertext buffer as if a valid KEM ciphertext had been produced. If applications use EVP_PKEY_encapsulate() with RSA/RSASVE on an attacker-supplied invalid RSA public key without first validating that key, then this may cause stale or uninitialized contents of the caller-provided ciphertext buffer to be disclosed to the attacker in place of the KEM ciphertext. As a workaround calling EVP_PKEY_public_check() or EVP_PKEY_public_check_quick() before EVP_PKEY_encapsulate() will mitigate the issue. The FIPS modules in 3.6, 3.5, 3

A flaw was found in libssh in which a malicious SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol) server can exploit this by sending a malformed 'longname' field within an `SSH_FXP_NAME` message during a file listing operation. This missing null check can lead to reading beyond allocated memory on the heap. This can cause unexpected behavior or lead to a denial of service (DoS) due to application crashes.

  • Mar 26, 2026A malicious SCP server can send unexpected paths that could make the client application override local files outside of working directory.CVE-2026-0964 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.3

A malicious SCP server can send unexpected paths that could make the client application override local files outside of working directory. This could be misused to create malicious executable or configuration files and make the user execute them under specific consequences. This is the same issue as in OpenSSH, tracked as CVE-2019-6111.

On a system exposing an NVMe/TCP target, a remote client can trigger a kernel panic by sending a CONNECT command for an I/O queue with a bogus or stale CNTLID. An attacker with network access to the NVMe/TCP target can trigger an unauthenticated Denial of Service condition on the affected machine.

  • Mar 26, 2026When a challenge ACK is to be sent tcp_respond() constructs and sends the challenge ACK and consumes the mbuf that is passed in.CVE-2026-4247 · Other software · FreeBSD · reported by secteam@freebsd.orgHigh 7.5

When a challenge ACK is to be sent tcp_respond() constructs and sends the challenge ACK and consumes the mbuf that is passed in. When no challenge ACK should be sent the function returns and leaks the mbuf. If an attacker is either on path with an established TCP connection, or can themselves establish a TCP connection, to an affected FreeBSD machine, they can easily craft and send packets which meet the challenge ACK criteria and cause the FreeBSD host to leak an mbuf for each crafted packet in excess of the configured rate limit settings i.e. with default settings, crafted packets in excess of the first 5 sent within a 1s period will leak an mbuf. Technically, off-path attackers can also exploit this problem by guessing the IP addresses, TCP port numbers and in some cases the sequence numbers of established connections and spoofing packets towards a FreeBSD machine, but this is harder to do effectively.

  • Mar 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipmi: Fix use-after-free and list corruption on sender error The analysis from Breno: WheCVE-2026-23322 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipmi: Fix use-after-free and list corruption on sender error The analysis from Breno: When the SMI sender returns an error, smi_work() delivers an error response but then jumps back to restart without cleaning up properly: 1. intf->curr_msg is not cleared, so no new message is pulled 2. newmsg still points to the message, causing sender() to be called again with the same message 3. If sender() fails again, deliver_err_response() is called with the same recv_msg that was already queued for delivery This causes list_add corruption ("list_add double add") because the recv_msg is added to the user_msgs list twice. Subsequently, the corrupted list leads to use-after-free when the memory is freed and reused, and eventually a NULL pointer dereference when accessing recv_msg->done. The buggy sequence: sender() fails -> deliver_err_response(recv_msg) // recv_msg queued for delivery -> goto restart // curr_msg not cleared! sender() fails again (same message!) -> deliver_err_response(recv_msg) // tries to queue same recv_msg -> LIST CORRUPTION Fix this by freeing the mess

A malicious mail server could send malformed strings with negative lengths, causing the parser to read memory outside the buffer. If a mail server or connection to a mail server were compromised, an attacker could cause the parser to malfunction, potentially crashing Thunderbird or leaking sensitive data.
