Aug 9, 2026Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Data Query Logic vulnerability in ash-project ash allows an attacker to forge a relationship to a record they canCVE-2026-70395 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.1
Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Data Query Logic vulnerability in ash-project ash allows an attacker to forge a relationship to a record they cannot name, and to recover the secret value used to look it up. When manage_relationship is used with on_lookup: :relate on a belongs_to relationship, the client-supplied lookup value is passed to Ash.Query.filter/2 without being cast to the attribute type. A nested map submitted where a scalar is expected is therefore interpreted as a filter predicate rather than a literal, so a lookup for a specific record becomes a query for any record matching a condition. The same path omits Ash.Query.limit(1), leaving Ash.read_one/2 able to distinguish no match from one match from several, which turns comparison predicates into an oracle for the lookup value. Authorization is unaffected; the destination read policy still applies. This issue affects ash: from 1.52.0-rc.11 before 3.31.1.

Aug 7, 2026Element Call is a native Matrix video conferencing application.CVE-2026-48007 · Other software · element-hq · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6
Element Call is a native Matrix video conferencing application. Versions 0.5.17 through 0.19.3 report analytics data to a PostHog server, when configured to by a `posthog` key in config.json or by the `posthogApiHost` and `posthogApiKey` URL parameters. Several fields of this data (`$initial_person_info`, `$session_entry_url`, and `$current_url`) were found to contain the full URL of the user's visited page, including the fragment. Users of a standalone Element Call ‘SPA’ instance such as https://call.element.io may therefore have reported the full URLs of certain calls, including encryption passwords, to the configured PostHog server, potentially compromising the confidentiality of the calls to actors who could access both the PostHog analytics data and the encrypted media streams. The same issue is present in Element Call's embedded package, but in practice it does not impact applications using this package (including Element Web, Element Desktop, Element X iOS, and Element X Android) because they distribute encryption keys over Matrix rather than encoding a password in the URL. The issue is patched in Element Call 0.19.4. Some workarounds are available. Users may opt out of anal

Aug 7, 2026Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection') vulnerability in elixir-ecto postgrex allows SQL Injection via the :commentCVE-2026-66838 · Other software · elixir-ecto · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 5.9
Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection') vulnerability in elixir-ecto postgrex allows SQL Injection via the :comment option of Postgrex.stream/4. An attacker who can influence that value can close the comment delimiter with */ and extend the streamed statement with their own clauses, which execute under the connection's role. Ecto exposes the same option through Ecto.Repo.stream/2. Postgrex appends the comment by concatenating it into the statement text sent in the Parse message, without escaping or rejecting */. The option is validated by comment_not_present!/1 at every other execution point; stream/4 never calls it. Because Parse accepts a single command, the injection is confined to the streamed statement and further statements cannot be chained. This issue affects postgrex: from 0.19.3 before 0.22.4.

Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Output Used by a Downstream Component ('Injection') vulnerability in the CSS scrubber in rrrene html_sanitize_ex allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to inject CSS at-rules, including an import of a remote stylesheet, into a page served to other users. HtmlSanitizeEx.Scrubber.CSS.scrub/1 applies its property and value allowlist through a Regex.replace over substrings matching a property: value declaration pattern, so input that does not match that pattern is never inspected and is copied to the output unchanged. @import url(//attacker.example/style.css); survives, while the same URL inside a background: url(...) declaration is removed. Element boundaries are resolved before the scrubber runs, so injected content does not escape the <style> element and no script executes. The Element Pack Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Email Header Injection in all versions up to, and including, 8.3.15 via the `element_pack_contact_form` AJAX action. Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command (OS Command Injection) vulnerability in livebook-dev livebook allows command injection into generated deployment setup commands. LivebookWeb.Hub.Teams.DeploymentGroupAgentComponent.docker_instructions/2 and LivebookWeb.Hub.Teams.DeploymentGroupAgentComponent.fly_instructions/4 in lib/livebook_web/live/hub/teams/deployment_group_agent_component.ex interpolate deployment group environment variable values into the generated Docker and Fly.io setup commands without shell escaping. The values originate from the deployment group configuration and reach the sinks through Livebook.Hubs.Dockerfile.online_docker_info/3. Both sinks place the value inside a double-quoted shell word, so a value containing a command substitution such as $(...) or backticks is evaluated by the shell without any need to break out of the quoting, and a literal double quote terminates the quoted word and allows arbitrary further tokens. The generated command is displayed in the Livebook web interface with a copy button, so a user who copies it and runs it without reviewing it first executes the injected commands on their own machine, under their own

Aug 1, 2026The DHCPv4 client helper net_dhcpv4_msg_type_name() in subsys/net/lib/dhcpv4/dhcpv4.c indexes a static 8-element const char * name table after a faulty bounds cCVE-2026-10773 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 5.4
The DHCPv4 client helper net_dhcpv4_msg_type_name() in subsys/net/lib/dhcpv4/dhcpv4.c indexes a static 8-element const char * name table after a faulty bounds check. The guard used msg_type <= sizeof(name) instead of msg_type <= ARRAY_SIZE(name); sizeof returns the byte size of the pointer array (32 on 32-bit, 64 on 64-bit targets) rather than the element count of 8, so message-type values from 9 up to that byte size pass the check and cause name[msg_type - 1] to read past the end of the array. The msg_type value originates from the DHCP MESSAGE TYPE option, which is read as an unchecked raw byte from a received packet (net_pkt_read_u8) and passed unmodified into the lookup. A DHCP server, or any host able to inject a spoofed DHCP reply onto the client's link, can therefore drive the index out of bounds. The out-of-range slot yields a garbage const char * that is then dereferenced by a %s log conversion. The lookup is reached only from a debug log statement (NET_DBG / LOG_DBG), so the out-of-bounds read is triggerable only when the DHCPv4 log module is built at DEBUG level (CONFIG_NET_DHCPV4_LOG_LEVEL_DBG), which is not the default configuration. When that condition holds, the re

Let's Chat 0.3.0 through 0.4.8 contains a broken access control vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to download file attachments from private and password-protected rooms they are not a member of by exploiting missing room membership checks in the file retrieval route. Attackers can enumerate adjacent MongoDB ObjectIds derived from a known file ID to recover files uploaded by other users, as the GET /files/:id/:name route in app/controllers/files.js only enforces login authentication without consulting room membership or the Room.canJoin check.

Jul 28, 2026Pivotick contains a DOM-based cross-site scripting vulnerability in its generic UI element resolution and icon-rendering utilities.CVE-2026-67174 · Other software · pivotick · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Critical 9.2
Pivotick contains a DOM-based cross-site scripting vulnerability in its generic UI element resolution and icon-rendering utilities. The tryResolveHTMLElement function treated any resolved string as HTML markup by assigning it to a <template> element through innerHTML. Strings derived from untrusted graph properties or custom rendering callbacks could therefore introduce arbitrary HTML or SVG elements into the live document. The vulnerable function was used by multiple UI components, including headers, property panels, extra panels, and tooltips. Additionally, createIcon inserted caller-supplied svgIcon markup into a template without sanitization. An application integrating Pivotick and deriving icon markup from untrusted data could therefore expose a second script-execution path. An unauthenticated attacker able to provide a crafted graph, property value, rendering result, or SVG icon could execute JavaScript in another user's browser when the affected content is displayed or interacted with. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to access information available to the victim, manipulate graph data or application state, and perform actions with the victim's privileges.
