  • Sep 29, 2026Issue summary: A CMP client that requests certificate revocation on the basis of a PKCS#10 CSR may dereference a NULL pointer and terminate abnormally when procCVE-2026-75805 · Websites & servers · OpenSSL · reported by openssl-security@openssl.orgMedium 5.3

Issue summary: A CMP client that requests certificate revocation on the basis of a PKCS#10 CSR may dereference a NULL pointer and terminate abnormally when processing a crafted revocation response. Impact summary: The NULL pointer dereference happens on a read which leads to a crash and a Denial of Service for the affected client application. CWE: CWE-476: NULL-pointer dereference Description: A CMP client revoking a certificate has to tell the server which certificate to revoke, and may do so by supplying a PKCS#10 CSR instead of the certificate itself or its issuer name and serial number. This is 'openssl cmp -cmd rr -csr <file>' on the command line, or OSSL_CMP_exec_RR_ses() with the certificate supplied via OSSL_CMP_CTX_set1_p10CSR() through the API. A CSR does not contain the issuer name and serial number of the certificate, so the client does not send them. A server may optionally name the certificate it revoked in its response, and the client then compares that name against what it sent. Having sent neither an issuer name nor a serial number, it has nothing to compare against, and a server returning a specially crafted name causes the client to read from a NULL pointer

  • Sep 29, 2026Apache Polaris allows an authenticated principal with permission to create or update Iceberg table properties to set FileIO client settings such as s3.endpoint CVE-2026-97395 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 8.1

Apache Polaris allows an authenticated principal with permission to create or update Iceberg table properties to set FileIO client settings such as s3.endpoint in table metadata. In versions < 1.8.0, when Polaris performs server-side Iceberg operations, including commits and purges, it may use those settings to construct its (server-side) FileIO client. If the catalog storage configuration does not override the endpoint, Polaris can send storage requests to a host chosen by the table writer, using credentials scoped to the operation. This can redirect server-side storage traffic and expose request authentication material to the chosen endpoint. Deployments are affected when table writers are not trusted to configure server-side storage endpoints.

InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. In version 1.7.2, Users::form() performs no object-level authorization check on user_id = 1. A Secondary Administrator (user_type = 1, user_id != 1) can rewrite the Primary Administrator's user_type to 2 (Guest / read-only), destroying the root account's privilege and locking the legitimate owner out of the instance. • Sep 28, 2026InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments.CVE-2026-100371 · Other software · InvoicePlane · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. In version 1.7.2, an authorization guard to Users::change_password(), was added to address a previous authorization flaw that allowed a secondary administrator (user_type=1, user_id != 1) to directly change the password of the primary administrator (user_id=1) through users/change_password/{id}. That remediation, however, protects only the direct password-change operation. It does not protect the identity attribute that password recovery actually trusts: user_email. Users::form() applies no equivalent object-level authorization check when editing the primary administrator's account, and user_email is not included in PROTECTED_FIELDS. A secondary administrator can therefore rewrite the primary administrator's email address, then drive the public password-recovery flow — which resolves the account by user_email — to receive the reset token and take over user_id=1. The result is an alternate attack path that achieves the same impact PR #1638 was intended to prevent: cross-administrator full account takeover of the primary administrator. This issue has been patched via commit 8616fa4.

Token Optimizer MCP measures token savings per AI coding agent, optimizes context, and shares a live local knowledge graph across 16 CLI clients. Prior to version 5.1.0, the dashboard HTTP server in token-optimizer-mcp exposes /api/session-summary and /api/session-events with no authentication middleware — any network-accessible client can reach them without credentials. Both handlers concatenate the caller-supplied sessionId query parameter directly into a filesystem path via path.join, and Node.js normalizes .. segments at resolution time, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to read any .jsonl file reachable from the server's filesystem. • Sep 28, 2026Axios is a promise-based HTTP client for the browser and Node.js.CVE-2026-101909 · Other software · axios · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3

Axios is a promise-based HTTP client for the browser and Node.js. From 0.28.0 until 0.34.0 and 1.15.1 until 1.20.0, ToFormData processes inherited serialization options and visitor properties supplied through prototype pollution. A separate same-process prototype-pollution flaw supplies inherited dots, indexes, metaTokens, maxDepth, visitor, or Blob values before object serialization. The inherited options alter toFormData field naming and data interpretation, maxDepth can force request failure, Blob changes value handling, and a polluted visitor can execute when an attacker already has the stronger ability to inject a function. Serialized field naming and data interpretation can change, maxDepth can cause request failure, Blob can alter value handling, and a polluted visitor can execute under the stronger function-injection primitive. This issue is fixed in versions 0.34.0 and 1.20.0.

Axios is a promise-based HTTP client for the browser and Node.js. From 1.7.0 until 1.20.0, the fetch adapter constructs a Request with sanitized resolvedOptions but then calls fetch with the original fetchOptions. A separate same-process prototype-pollution flaw populates Object.prototype.headers so fetchOptions.headers resolves through inheritance. The inherited fetchOptions.headers value overrides the sanitized Request headers through the second argument to fetch after Request construction. Attacker-controlled request headers can alter authorization, caching, metadata-service access, or application-specific behavior. This issue is fixed in version 1.20.0.

Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in elixir-mint mint allows a malicious HTTP/2 server to make the client hold up to about 16 MiB per connection in frames it should reject, consuming client memory. Mint.HTTP2.Frame.decode_next/2 in lib/mint/http2/frame.ex compares a frame with the client's max_frame_size (16,384 bytes by default) only once the whole declared payload has arrived. Until then it returns :more, and Mint.HTTP2 keeps every received byte in the connection buffer. A server can declare a frame length of up to 16,777,215 bytes and withhold the last byte, keeping roughly 1,024 times the advertised limit buffered for as long as the connection stays open. The server has to send every byte the client buffers, so there is no amplification, and the buffer stops at the 24-bit frame length limit. This issue affects mint: from 0.1.0 before 1.10.2.

Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in elixir-mint mint allows a malicious HTTP/2 server to exhaust memory on the client host and cause a denial of service. Mint.HTTP2 enforces the client's max_header_list_size setting only on the compressed size of an inbound header block, while RFC 9113 section 6.5.2 defines the limit on the decoded header list. An HPACK indexed field costs one byte on the wire and decodes to a dynamic table entry of up to 4 KB, and join_cookie_headers/1 in lib/mint/http2.ex copies every cookie value of a response into one new binary. A header block under the default 256 KB wire limit therefore makes the client allocate about 1 GB for a single response, and several such responses in one delivery exhaust the memory of the process that owns the connection or of the whole VM. This issue affects mint: from 1.1.0 before 1.10.2.

A path traversal vulnerability was discovered in the Kubernetes kubectl client's kubectl cp command on Windows. When copying files from a container, kubectl runs tar inside the container to build a tar archive, transfers it over the network, and unpacks it on the local machine. If the tar binary in the container is malicious, it can execute arbitrary code and emit unexpected output, allowing an attacker who controls container contents to write files to arbitrary paths on the user's local machine when kubectl cp is invoked, limited only by the system permissions of the local user. This issue only affects kubectl clients running on Windows.

Nezha versions 2.0.10 through 2.3.2 use a restricted HTTP client to validate user-configurable notification and DDNS webhook URLs, but the denylist did not cover IPv6 transition ranges — specifically the 6to4 prefix 2002::/16 and the local-use IPv4/IPv6 translation prefix 64:ff9b:1::/48. Because such addresses satisfy Go's netip.Addr.IsGlobalUnicast check, the URL validator accepted them. An authenticated user able to configure a webhook may be able to cause the dashboard to issue requests to an otherwise restricted IPv6 endpoint, but only where the dashboard's network provides unusual or non-standards-compliant routing for these transition ranges; no direct path to an IPv4 metadata, loopback, or private-network HTTP request has been demonstrated. The issue is fixed in version 2.3.3 (commit d1fcde8e), which blocks both prefixes.

Obot before v0.23.0 (affected versions <= v0.22.1) running with OBOT_SERVER_ENABLE_AUTHENTICATION=true exposes OAuth dynamic client registration without authentication and without any restriction on the redirect URIs a client may register. Because the authorization flow auto-completes for an already logged-in user with no consent screen, an attacker who registers a client pointing at their own domain and induces a logged-in victim to visit a single crafted authorization URL receives an authorization code at the attacker-controlled redirect URI and can exchange it for an access token and refresh token. The token minted by the MCP OAuth flow carries the victim's full group set in the JWT, and Obot validated only the issuer and not the audience, so the token is accepted as a bearer token against any Obot API endpoint the victim can access rather than being scoped to the requested MCP server, allowing the attacker to read or modify the victim's resources until the token is revoked. v0.23.0 adds a consent screen, restricts MCP OAuth tokens to the MCP involved in the request, and enforces audience validation.

  • Sep 27, 2026A (D)TLS 1.2 client can accept a ChangeCipherSpec message before it has sent its ClientKeyExchange.CVE-2026-93304 · Other software · wolfSSL · reported by facts@wolfssl.comMedium 6.3

A (D)TLS 1.2 client can accept a ChangeCipherSpec message before it has sent its ClientKeyExchange. No master secret has been derived at that point, so the client installs read keys derived from a known (deterministic) key and checks the server's Finished against that same key. An out-of-order ChangeCipherSpec can therefore be used by an attacker to complete the handshake in place of the server and send data the client accepts as authentic. The client's own traffic still uses correctly derived keys, so the attacker cannot read it, and the genuine server never completes the handshake. DTLS 1.2 clients are exposed because a datagram read can deliver the out-of-order records on its own. TLS 1.2 clients are exposed when the application supplies received bytes with wolfSSL_inject() or enables read ahead. For certificate suites, the attacker must be in a man-in-the-middle position. For PSK (Pre Shared Key) connections, any fake server can succeed without knowing the PSK.

  • Sep 27, 2026In wolfSSL versions 5.7.2 through 5.9.2 there is a client-side implementation flaw in RFC 6961, multiple OCSP response stapling, which can lead to certificate fCVE-2026-89102 · Other software · wolfSSL · reported by facts@wolfssl.comHigh 8.3

In wolfSSL versions 5.7.2 through 5.9.2 there is a client-side implementation flaw in RFC 6961, multiple OCSP response stapling, which can lead to certificate forgery. When a wolfSSL client enables OCSP stapling with the HAVE_CERTIFICATE_STATUS_REQUEST_V2 feature and calls wolfSSL_UseOCSPStaplingV2(ssl, WOLFSSL_CSR2_OCSP_MULTI, options), the client accepts any certificate in the peer's chain as a certificate authority without verifying that the certificate is actually authorized to act as one. This means that an attacker who possesses any certificate that chains to a CA trusted by the client (along with its private key) can forge certificates for arbitrary identities that will be accepted as valid by the client. The end entity certificate of the server is stored in the persistent trust store, affecting subsequent connections that reuse the context even when OCSP multi usage is not employed. Found by internal wolfSSL testing.

  • Sep 27, 2026Without NO_SESSION_CACHE_REF, wolfSSL_get_session() does not return a session object but a ClientSession reference of the form {row, index, hash(sessionID)} intCVE-2026-94419 · Other software · wolfSSL · reported by facts@wolfssl.comLow 2.3

Without NO_SESSION_CACHE_REF, wolfSSL_get_session() does not return a session object but a ClientSession reference of the form {row, index, hash(sessionID)} into the process-global SessionCache, and ClientSessionToSession() validates it against that hash alone. Because the TLS 1.2 session ID is chosen by the server and sent in clear, AddSessionToCache() matches any other server's session on the same ID and overwrites the client-side entry with that server's master secret, cipher suite and version, while the handle continues to resolve; nothing on the write path compares the peer, the application's server ID or the WOLFSSL_CTX. Resuming through the handle then produces an abbreviated handshake in which no Certificate message is sent, so neither chain verification nor wolfSSL_check_domain_name() runs, and the attacker is accepted as the original server for the whole of that connection. Affected builds are those leaving NO_SESSION_CACHE_REF, NO_SESSION_CACHE, NO_CLIENT_CACHE and TITAN_SESSION_CACHE all undefined, which includes a plain ./configure, --enable-opensslextra and --enable-opensslall; fifteen integration options define NO_SESSION_CACHE_REF and are therefore not affected, amo

Adminer 6.0.0 through 6.0.1, when the official ClickHouse driver plugin (plugins/drivers/clickhouse.php, rewritten in 6.0.0) is loaded, is vulnerable to pre-authentication server-side request forgery. An unauthenticated attacker can submit auth[driver]=clickhouse with auth[server] set to an arbitrary URL (for example http://127.0.0.1:18089), causing the Adminer server to issue an HTTP POST containing 'SELECT version()' to that host. In rootQuery(), if the target returns a status outside 200-299 (other than 401/403), the raw HTTP response body is assigned to the connection error and rendered on the login page, so the attacker receives the full response body of the internal service. This enables internal network/port reconnaissance and disclosure of sensitive information contained in internal error pages (stack traces, internal hostnames, file paths, configuration identifiers). vLLM through 0.29.0 fetches and fully materializes remote or inline media before enforcing its documented media controls (the VLLM_MAX_AUDIO_CLIP_FILESIZE_MB compressed-audio size cap, default 25 MB, and the per-modality --limit-mm-per-prompt item limits). Across four ingress paths — the shared media-acquisition layer (HTTPConnection.get_bytes()/async_get_bytes()), the chat completions audio_url/base64 path, the batch speech runner, and the Rust frontend POST /tokenize route — the server reads the entire HTTP response body, base64-decodes the inline payload, or spawns one fetch/decode task per media part, and only then applies the limit (or, on some paths, never applies it). A remote attacker can therefore cause the API server or batch-runner process to allocate memory and consume outbound bandwidth proportional to an attacker-chosen body size or media item count before the request is rejected, resulting in pre-inference memory and bandwidth exhaustion (denial of service). The chat and batch surfaces require an API key when one is configured; the Rust frontend /tokenize route is unauthenticated by design. There is no code execution or data disclosure impact.
