May 8, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_set_pipapo: fix stack out-of-bounds read in pipapo_drop() pipapo_drop() pasCVE-2026-43453 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_set_pipapo: fix stack out-of-bounds read in pipapo_drop() pipapo_drop() passes rulemap[i + 1].n to pipapo_unmap() as the to_offset argument on every iteration, including the last one where i == m->field_count - 1. This reads one element past the end of the stack-allocated rulemap array (declared as rulemap[NFT_PIPAPO_MAX_FIELDS] with NFT_PIPAPO_MAX_FIELDS == 16). Although pipapo_unmap() returns early when is_last is true without using the to_offset value, the argument is evaluated at the call site before the function body executes, making this a genuine out-of-bounds stack read confirmed by KASAN: BUG: KASAN: stack-out-of-bounds in pipapo_drop+0x50c/0x57c [nf_tables] Read of size 4 at addr ffff8000810e71a4 This frame has 1 object: [32, 160) 'rulemap' The buggy address is at offset 164 -- exactly 4 bytes past the end of the rulemap array. Pass 0 instead of rulemap[i + 1].n on the last iteration to avoid the out-of-bounds read.

May 8, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ipa: fix event ring index not programmed for IPA v5.0+ For IPA v5.0+, the event ring CVE-2026-43345 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ipa: fix event ring index not programmed for IPA v5.0+ For IPA v5.0+, the event ring index field moved from CH_C_CNTXT_0 to CH_C_CNTXT_1. The v5.0 register definition intended to define this field in the CH_C_CNTXT_1 fmask array but used the old identifier of ERINDEX instead of CH_ERINDEX. Without a valid event ring, GSI channels could never signal transfer completions. This caused gsi_channel_trans_quiesce() to block forever in wait_for_completion(). At least for IPA v5.2 this resolves an issue seen where runtime suspend, system suspend, and remoteproc stop all hanged forever. It also meant the IPA data path was completely non functional.

May 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_set_pipapo_avx2: don't return non-matching entry on expiry New test case faCVE-2026-43114 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.4
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_set_pipapo_avx2: don't return non-matching entry on expiry New test case fails unexpectedly when avx2 matching functions are used. The test first loads a ranomly generated pipapo set with 'ipv4 . port' key, i.e. nft -f foo. This works. Then, it reloads the set after a flush: (echo flush set t s; cat foo) | nft -f - This is expected to work, because its the same set after all and it was already loaded once. But with avx2, this fails: nft reports a clashing element. The reported clash is of following form: We successfully re-inserted a . b c . d Then we try to insert a . d avx2 finds the already existing a . d, which (due to 'flush set') is marked as invalid in the new generation. It skips the element and moves to next. Due to incorrect masking, the skip-step finds the next matching element *only considering the first field*, i.e. we return the already reinserted "a . b", even though the last field is different and the entry should not have been matched. No such error is reported for the generic c implementation (no avx2) or when the last field has to use the 'nft_pipapo

Apr 27, 2026Improper Handling of TLS Client Authentication Failure Leading to Anonymous Principal Assignment in Apache Storm Versions Affected: up to 2.8.7 Description: WCVE-2026-41081 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 6.5
Improper Handling of TLS Client Authentication Failure Leading to Anonymous Principal Assignment in Apache Storm Versions Affected: up to 2.8.7 Description: When TLS transport is enabled in Apache Storm without requiring client certificate authentication (the default configuration), the TlsTransportPlugin assigns a fallback principal (CN=ANONYMOUS) if no client certificate is presented or if certificate verification fails. The underlying SSLPeerUnverifiedException is caught and suppressed rather than rejecting the connection. This fail-open behavior means an unauthenticated client can establish a TLS connection and receive a valid principal identity. If the configured authorizer (e.g., SimpleACLAuthorizer) does not explicitly deny access to CN=ANONYMOUS, this may result in unauthorized access to Storm services. The condition is logged at debug level only, reducing visibility in production. Impact: Unauthenticated clients may be assigned a principal identity, potentially bypassing authorization in permissive or misconfigured environments. Mitigation: Users should upgrade to 2.8.7 in which TLS authentication failures are handled in a fail-closed manner. Users who cannot upgrade

SWUpdate contains an integer underflow vulnerability in the multipart upload parser in mongoose_multipart.c that allows unauthenticated attackers to cause a denial of service by sending a crafted HTTP POST request to /upload with a malformed multipart boundary and controlled TCP stream timing. Attackers can trigger an integer underflow in the mg_http_multipart_continue_wait_for_chunk() function when the buffer length falls within a specific range, causing an out-of-bounds heap read past the allocated receive buffer to a local IPC socket.

Apr 22, 2026Paperclip is a Node.js server and React UI that orchestrates a team of AI agents to run a business.CVE-2026-41679 · Other software · paperclipai · reported by GitHubCritical 10
Paperclip is a Node.js server and React UI that orchestrates a team of AI agents to run a business. Prior to version 2026.416.0, an unauthenticated attacker can achieve full remote code execution on any network-accessible Paperclip instance running in `authenticated` mode with default configuration. No user interaction, no credentials, just the target's address. The chain consists of six API calls. The attack is fully automated, requires no user interaction, and works against the default deployment configuration. Version 2026.416.0 patches the issue.

Apr 22, 2026Paperclip is a Node.js server and React UI that orchestrates a team of AI agents to run a business.CVE-2026-41208 · Other software · paperclipai · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
Paperclip is a Node.js server and React UI that orchestrates a team of AI agents to run a business. Versions of @paperclipai/server prior to 2026.416.0 contain a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows an attacker with an Agent API key to execute arbitrary OS commands on the Paperclip server host. An attacker with an agent credential can escalate privileges from the agent runtime to the Paperclip server host. The vulnerability occurs because agents are allowed to update their own adapterConfig via the /agents/:id API endpoint. The configuration field adapterConfig.workspaceStrategy.provisionCommand is later executed by the server runtime. As a result, an attacker controlling an agent credential can inject arbitrary shell commands which are executed by the Paperclip server during workspace provisioning. This breaks the intended trust boundary between agent runtime configuration and server host execution, allowing a compromised or malicious agent to escalate privileges and run commands on the host system. This vulnerability allows remote code execution on the server host. @paperclipai/server version 2026.416.0 fixes the issue.

Apr 21, 2026Decidim is a participatory democracy framework.CVE-2026-40870 · Other software · decidim · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Decidim is a participatory democracy framework. Starting in version 0.0.1 and prior to versions 0.30.5 and 0.31.1, the root level `commentable` field in the API allows access to all commentable resources within the platform, without any permission checks. All Decidim instances are impacted that have not secured the `/api` endpoint. The `/api` endpoint is publicly available with the default configuration. Versions 0.30.5 and 0.31.1 fix the issue. As a workaround, limit the scope to only authenticated users by limiting access to the `/api` endpoint. This would require custom code or installing the 3rd party module `Decidim::Apiauth`. With custom code, the `/api` endpoint can be limited to only authenticated users. The same configuration can be also used without the `allow` statements to disable all traffic to the the `/api` endpoint. When considering a workaround and the seriousness of the vulnerability, please consider the nature of the platform. If the platform is primarily serving public data, this vulnerability is not serious by its nature. If the platform is protecting some resources, e.g. inside private participation spaces, the vulnerability may expose some data to the attacke

Apr 21, 2026Decidim is a participatory democracy framework.CVE-2026-40869 · Other software · decidim · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Decidim is a participatory democracy framework. Starting in version 0.19.0 and prior to versions 0.30.5 and 0.31.1, a vulnerability allows any registered and authenticated user to accept or reject any amendments. The impact is on any users who have created proposals where the amendments feature is enabled. This also elevates the user accepting the amendment as the author of the original proposal as people amending proposals are provided coauthorship on the coauthorable resources. Versions 0.30.5 and 0.31.1 fix the issue. As a workaround, disable amendment reactions for the amendable component (e.g. proposals).

Apr 17, 2026Python-Multipart is a streaming multipart parser for Python.CVE-2026-40347 · Other software · Kludex · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Python-Multipart is a streaming multipart parser for Python. Versions prior to 0.0.26 have a denial of service vulnerability when parsing crafted `multipart/form-data` requests with large preamble or epilogue sections. Upgrade to version 0.0.26 or later, which skips ahead to the next boundary candidate when processing leading CR/LF data and immediately discards epilogue data after the closing boundary.

Apr 2, 2026Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in gleam-wisp wisp allows a denial of service via multipart form body parsing.CVE-2026-32145 · Other software · gleam-wisp · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.7
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in gleam-wisp wisp allows a denial of service via multipart form body parsing. The multipart_body function bypasses configured max_body_size and max_files_size limits. When a multipart boundary is not present in a chunk, the parser takes the MoreRequiredForBody path, which appends the chunk to the output but passes the quota unchanged to the recursive call. Only the final chunk containing the boundary is counted via decrement_quota. The same pattern exists in multipart_headers, where MoreRequiredForHeaders recurses without calling decrement_body_quota. An unauthenticated attacker can exhaust server memory or disk by sending arbitrarily large multipart form submissions in a single HTTP request. This issue affects wisp: from 0.2.0 before 2.2.2.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_set_pipapo: split gc into unlink and reclaim phase Yiming Qian reports Use-after-free in the pipapo set type: Under a large number of expired elements, commit-time GC can run for a very long time in a non-preemptible context, triggering soft lockup warnings and RCU stall reports (local denial of service). We must split GC in an unlink and a reclaim phase. We cannot queue elements for freeing until pointers have been swapped. Expired elements are still exposed to both the packet path and userspace dumpers via the live copy of the data structure. call_rcu() does not protect us: dump operations or element lookups starting after call_rcu has fired can still observe the free'd element, unless the commit phase has made enough progress to swap the clone and live pointers before any new reader has picked up the old version. This a similar approach as done recently for the rbtree backend in commit 35f83a75529a ("netfilter: nft_set_rbtree: don't gc elements on insert").

Mar 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ipv4: fix ARM64 alignment fault in multipath hash seed `struct sysctl_fib_multipath_hCVE-2026-23316 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ipv4: fix ARM64 alignment fault in multipath hash seed `struct sysctl_fib_multipath_hash_seed` contains two u32 fields (user_seed and mp_seed), making it an 8-byte structure with a 4-byte alignment requirement. In `fib_multipath_hash_from_keys()`, the code evaluates the entire struct atomically via `READ_ONCE()`: mp_seed = READ_ONCE(net->ipv4.sysctl_fib_multipath_hash_seed).mp_seed; While this silently works on GCC by falling back to unaligned regular loads which the ARM64 kernel tolerates, it causes a fatal kernel panic when compiled with Clang and LTO enabled. Commit e35123d83ee3 ("arm64: lto: Strengthen READ_ONCE() to acquire when CONFIG_LTO=y") strengthens `READ_ONCE()` to use Load-Acquire instructions (`ldar` / `ldapr`) to prevent compiler reordering bugs under Clang LTO. Since the macro evaluates the full 8-byte struct, Clang emits a 64-bit `ldar` instruction. ARM64 architecture strictly requires `ldar` to be naturally aligned, thus executing it on a 4-byte aligned address triggers a strict Alignment Fault (FSC = 0x21). Fix the read side by moving the `READ_ONCE()` directly to the `u32` member
