Jul 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Validate BTF repeated field counts before expansion btf_parse_struct_metas() walks usCVE-2026-64354 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Validate BTF repeated field counts before expansion btf_parse_struct_metas() walks user-supplied BTF during BPF_BTF_LOAD, and btf_repeat_fields() expands repeatable fields from array elements into the fixed BTF_FIELDS_MAX scratch array used by btf_parse_fields(). The remaining-capacity check performs the expanded field count calculation in u32. A malformed BTF can wrap that calculation, causing the check to pass even when the expanded field count exceeds the scratch array capacity. The following memcpy() can then write past the end of the array. Use checked addition and multiplication before copying repeated fields and reject impossible counts.

Jul 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/mm: Fix freeing of PMD-sized vmemmap pages Commit bf9e4e30f353 ("x86/mm: use pagetableCVE-2026-64302 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/mm: Fix freeing of PMD-sized vmemmap pages Commit bf9e4e30f353 ("x86/mm: use pagetable_free()"), switched from freeing non-boot page tables through __free_pages() to pagetable_free(). However, the function is also called to free vmemmap pages. Given that vmemmap pages are not page tables, already the page_ptdesc(page) is wrong. But worse, pagetable_free() calls: __free_pages(page, compound_order(page)); Since vmemmap pages are not compound pages (see vmemmap_alloc_block()) -- except for HVO, which doesn't apply here -- only first page of a PMD-sized vmemmap page is freed, leaking the other ones. Fix it by properly decoupling pagetable and vmemmap freeing. free_pagetable() no longer has to mess with SECTION_INFO, as only the vmemmap is marked like that in register_page_bootmem_memmap(). The indentation in remove_pmd_table() is messed up. Fix that while touching it. Bootmem info handling will soon be fixed up. For now, handle it similar to free_pagetable(), just avoiding the ifdef. Jul 24, 2026Datasets through 5.0.0, fixed in commit f989ef9, contains a path traversal vulnerability in folder-based dataset builders where the file_name metadata field is CVE-2026-66007 · Other software · huggingface · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9
Datasets through 5.0.0, fixed in commit f989ef9, contains a path traversal vulnerability in folder-based dataset builders where the file_name metadata field is not properly validated before being joined to the dataset directory. Attackers can supply crafted file_name values with directory traversal sequences to read arbitrary local files, which are then embedded into output when save_to_disk or push_to_hub is called.

Jul 23, 2026DOMPurify 3.0.0 before 3.4.9 does not reset the retained Trusted Types policy when clearConfig() is called, so a DOMPurify instance reused across trust boundariCVE-2026-65899 · Other software · cure53 · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.1
DOMPurify 3.0.0 before 3.4.9 does not reset the retained Trusted Types policy when clearConfig() is called, so a DOMPurify instance reused across trust boundaries stays bound to a previously supplied TRUSTED_TYPES_POLICY. A later caller that requests RETURN_TRUSTED_TYPE output receives a TrustedHTML object created by the old (potentially unsafe) policy rather than a clean default, which can lead to script execution at a Trusted Types sink. Passing TRUSTED_TYPES_POLICY: null on the later call also does not clear the retained policy.

Question2Answer through 1.8.8 contains a session invalidation vulnerability that allows attackers with a previously obtained remember-me cookie to retain authenticated access by exploiting the forgot-password reset flow's failure to clear the sessioncode field in qa-include/app/users-edit.php. While the normal password-change flow in qa-include/pages/account.php explicitly clears the sessioncode to invalidate persistent qa_session cookies, the forgot-password handler qa_finish_reset_user() omits this step, allowing any valid persistent cookie issued before the reset to continue authenticating the account after the password reset completes.

Jul 21, 2026MCP-for-Stata is an MCP server for Stata to integrate Stata into an agent.CVE-2026-47708 · Other software · SepineTam · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3
MCP-for-Stata is an MCP server for Stata to integrate Stata into an agent. Prior to version 1.17.3, the `log_file_name` parameter in the `stata_do` API and CLI is directly interpolated into a Stata command string without sanitization. The security guard (`GuardValidator`) only scans the do-file content but does not validate this parameter. An attacker can inject arbitrary Stata commands (including `shell`, `python`, `erase`, etc.) by crafting a malicious `log_file_name` containing quotes, newlines, or Stata command separators. Version 1.17.3 contains a patch for the issue.

SurrealDB before 2.5.0 and before 3.0.0-beta.3 contains a confused deputy privilege escalation vulnerability. Unprivileged users (e.g., those with the database editor role) can create or modify fields containing futures, functions, or closures. Because these are executed in the context of the invoking/querying user rather than their creator, an attacker can plant malicious logic that executes with a higher-privileged user's permissions when that user reads or writes the affected record. This can lead to full privilege escalation, including creation of a root owner and server takeover.

SurrealDB before v2.6.1 (and before v3.0.0-beta.3) contains a denial of service vulnerability in its embedded JavaScript scripting engine, which is enabled via the --allow-scripting capability (disabled by default). Any user able to execute arbitrary queries — including unauthenticated guests when --allow-guests is enabled — can use built-in string functions to construct a large string and pass it to the JavaScript runtime for compilation, triggering a null pointer dereference in the underlying QuickJS-NG engine. This causes the server process to terminate immediately without graceful shutdown, requiring a manual restart. The issue was fixed by updating the rquickjs dependency from v0.9.0 to v0.11.0.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: erofs: fix metabuf leak in inode xattr initialization commit bb88e8da0025 ("erofs: use meta buffers for xattr operations") converted xattr operations to use on-stack erofs_buf instances. erofs_init_inode_xattrs() uses such a metabuf while reading the inline xattr header and shared xattr id array. Some error paths after erofs_read_metabuf() leave through out_unlock without dropping the metabuf, so the folio reference can leak. Consolidate the cleanup at out_unlock. erofs_put_metabuf() is a no-op if no folio has been acquired, and this keeps all paths after taking EROFS_I_BL_XATTR_BIT covered by a single cleanup site.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: mana: Skip redundant detach on already-detached port When mana_per_port_queue_reset_work_handler() runs after a previous detach succeeded but attach failed, the port is left in a detached state with apc->tx_qp and apc->rxqs already freed. Calling mana_detach() again unconditionally leads to NULL pointer dereferences during queue teardown. Add an early exit in mana_detach() when the port is already in detached state (!netif_device_present) for non-close callers, making it safe to call idempotently. This allows the queue reset handler and other recovery paths to simply retry mana_attach() without redundant teardown.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: fix posix_acl leak on SETACL decode failure nfsaclsvc_decode_setaclargs() and nfs3svc_decode_setaclargs() each call nfs_stream_decode_acl() twice, first for NFS_ACL and then for NFS_DFACL. Each successful call transfers ownership of a freshly allocated posix_acl into argp->acl_access or argp->acl_default. If the first call succeeds but the second fails, the decoder returns false and argp->acl_access is left dangling. ACLPROC2_SETACL.pc_release was wired to nfssvc_release_attrstat and ACLPROC3_SETACL.pc_release was wired to nfs3svc_release_fhandle. Both only call fh_put() and have no knowledge of the ACL fields on argp. The posix_acl_release() pairs sat at the out: labels inside nfsacld_proc_setacl() and nfsd3_proc_setacl(), but svc_process() skips pc_func when pc_decode returns false, so that cleanup is unreachable on decode failure: svc_process_common() pc_decode() /* decode_setaclargs: false */ /* pc_func skipped */ pc_release() /* fh_put only -- ACLs leaked */ The orphaned posix_acl is leaked for the lifetime of the server. Stoat for Android exports the chat.stoat.activities.ShareTargetActivity component (reachable to any process on the device via the android.intent.action.SEND intent) and accepts the file to share as a URI supplied through the android.intent.extra.STREAM extra. The activity does not validate or filter the incoming URI before using it as the outgoing attachment, so a caller can pass a file:// URI pointing at the application's own internal storage (for example /data/data/chat.revolt/databases/revolt.db, cached authentication token files, or preferences) and have the app treat that internal file as a user-selected attachment. An attacker who can invoke intents on the victim's device (via ADB access, a co-installed malicious application, or any other route that reaches Android's intent dispatch) can launch ShareTargetActivity with such a URI and cause the victim, on a single channel-selection interaction, to send the internal file to any Stoat channel or user of the attacker's choosing. The composer displays the attachment as \"attachment\" with no filename indication, so the victim has no visible signal that the file being sent is their own internal application data. Consequences includ

Jul 18, 2026SurrealDB before 1.5.5 (and 2.0.0-beta before 2.0.0-beta.3) accepts an arbitrary object in the signin and signup operations of the RPC API without recursively vCVE-2024-58362 · Other software · surrealdb · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
SurrealDB before 1.5.5 (and 2.0.0-beta before 2.0.0-beta.3) accepts an arbitrary object in the signin and signup operations of the RPC API without recursively validating it for non-computed values. When a record access method defines a SIGNIN or SIGNUP query and the RPC API is exposed to untrusted users, an unauthenticated attacker can encode a binary object containing a subquery using the bincode serialization format and supply it in place of credentials. The subquery is then executed within the database owner's SIGNIN/SIGNUP query under a system user session with the editor role, allowing the attacker to select, create, update, and delete non-IAM resources (though not view the query results directly, and not affect IAM resources, which require the owner role).

Jul 16, 2026Inconsistent interpretation of HTTP requests (HTTP response smuggling) vulnerability in elixir-mint mint allows a malicious HTTP/1 server to desynchronize a strCVE-2026-59249 · Other software · elixir-mint · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.3
Inconsistent interpretation of HTTP requests (HTTP response smuggling) vulnerability in elixir-mint mint allows a malicious HTTP/1 server to desynchronize a strict intermediary and the Mint client on the same pooled connection, enabling response-queue poisoning against subsequent requests that share the connection. The Mint.HTTP1.decode_body/5 function in lib/mint/http1.ex parses the chunk-size line of a Transfer-Encoding: chunked response with Integer.parse(data, 16). RFC 7230 defines chunk-size = 1*HEXDIG and forbids any sign prefix, but Integer.parse/2 accepts an optional leading + or -. A chunk-size line of +5 is accepted as a five-byte chunk; lines of +0 and -0 are accepted as the terminating zero-length chunk and end the message body early. An RFC-strict intermediary in the response path rejects these forms, so the intermediary and the Mint client disagree on where one response ends and the next begins. On a pooled keep-alive connection, an attacker-influenced origin can inject bytes that the client attributes to the next legitimate response on the same connection, poisoning the response queue and corrupting the responses returned to unrelated in-flight requests. Jul 15, 2026Metabase is an open-source business intelligence and embedded analytics tool.CVE-2026-50148 · Other software · metabase · reported by GitHubCritical 10
Metabase is an open-source business intelligence and embedded analytics tool. From 1.54.0 until 1.54.24, 1.55.24, 1.56.25, 1.57.19, 1.58.14, 1.59.10, and 1.60.4, a Metabase user with permission to add or edit a database connection can achieve remote code execution on the Metabase server by configuring a Snowflake connection to an attacker-controlled server, because a flaw in the Snowflake JDBC driver can write arbitrary files anywhere on the Metabase host, including replacing one of Metabase's own database driver files that later executes inside the Metabase process. This issue is fixed in versions 1.54.24, 1.55.24, 1.56.25, 1.57.19, 1.58.14, 1.59.10, and 1.60.4.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
