A protection mechanism failure in the object-document mapper's encryption configuration generation can cause fields that an application declared for client-side field-level encryption to be written and kept in cleartext, without any error or warning. A party holding ordinary read access to the database can then read values that were intended to be protected from that party. This may result in unintended disclosure of sensitive information.

Mongoid does not restrict which query operators may come from caller-supplied filter data when an application hands that data to its query-building methods. In an application that forwards externally supplied filter parameters in this way, a party with no credentials may influence how the database evaluates the query. • Sep 18, 2026File Viewer is a browser-native viewer for Office, PDF, CAD, archive, and other files in private and internal web applications.CVE-2026-91127 · Other software · flyfish-dev · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

File Viewer is a browser-native viewer for Office, PDF, CAD, archive, and other files in private and internal web applications. Prior to @file-viewer/doc 2.3.1 and msdoc-viewer 0.2.2, the legacy DOC renderer emitted document-controlled hyperlink targets into generated HTML after character escaping but without restricting URL schemes. A crafted legacy DOC file could place javascript:, vbscript:, data:, or another unsafe scheme in a rendered link, and script could execute in the embedding application's origin when a user clicked the link. The fix blocks external document links by default, allows only HTTP(S), mail, telephone, safe relative URLs, and internal bookmarks when external links are explicitly enabled, and applies mount-boundary sanitization as defense in depth. This issue is fixed in @file-viewer/doc 2.3.1 and msdoc-viewer 0.2.2.

An insecure direct object reference in the nested attributes handling of the Mongoid object-document mapper may allow a user with basic application privileges to reference a record identifier that is not their own. Processing such a request can cause that record to be looked up without the usual ownership or scoping restrictions, then updated and linked to the requesting user's own record. • Sep 18, 2026Process Compose is a scheduler and orchestrator for non-containerized applications.CVE-2026-77339 · Other software · F1bonacc1 · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1

Process Compose is a scheduler and orchestrator for non-containerized applications. Prior to 1.120.0, the MCP SSE listener in src/mcp/server.go accepts browser-origin requests to /sse and the returned message endpoint without validating the Host header, validating the Origin header, or authenticating the caller. When MCP SSE is enabled, a malicious website can use DNS rebinding to reach the loopback listener and issue MCP requests. If expose_control_tools is enabled, the attacker can enumerate process state, read or search logs, truncate logs, and start, stop, restart, or scale local processes; configured user-defined tools can expose additional commands and output. The Gin REST API token middleware does not protect this separately started MCP listener. This issue is fixed in version 1.120.0.

  • Sep 18, 2026http4k is a functional toolkit for Kotlin HTTP applications.CVE-2026-54148 · Other software · http4k · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

http4k is a functional toolkit for Kotlin HTTP applications. Prior to 4.51.0.0, 5.42.0.0, and 6.50.0.0, DigestAuthProvider.verify in http4k-security-digest does not compare the uri parameter in an Authorization: Digest response with the actual request URL. An attacker who captures a valid Digest authentication response can replay it against another URL served by the same realm, bypassing the per-request-URI binding and potentially gaining unauthorized read or write access. http4k is a functional toolkit for Kotlin HTTP applications. Prior to 4.51.0.0, 5.42.0.0, and 6.50.0.0, DigestAuthProvider.verify in http4k-security-digest ignores its configured algorithm parameter and verifies every Digest response with hardcoded MD5. Deployments configured for SHA-256 therefore receive weaker MD5-based verification, exposing Digest authentication to collision-related attack paths that depend on the hash function's collision resistance. A flaw was found in the DERDecoder class within wildfly-elytron-asn1. A remote attacker can exploit this resource exhaustion vulnerability by sending a specially crafted DER (Distinguished Encoding Rules) payload. The decoder attempts to allocate excessive memory based on an inflated length value without proper validation, leading to Java Virtual Machine (JVM) memory exhaustion. This results in a remote Denial of Service (DoS) for services that process untrusted DER/ASN.1 input, including SASL (Simple Authentication and Security Layer) authentication mechanisms and X.500 certificate principal parsing paths.

  • Sep 17, 2026JabRef is a desktop application for managing BibTeX and BibLaTeX libraries.CVE-2026-53534 · Other software · JabRef · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

JabRef is a desktop application for managing BibTeX and BibLaTeX libraries. Prior to 6.0-alpha.6, when jabsrv or JabRef's built-in HTTP server is enabled, the GET /better-bibtex/cayw endpoint accepts an external command query parameter and CAYWQueryParams.getCommand() passes it through CAYWResource.getCitation() into PushToSublimeText.getCommandLine(). On Unix-like systems, PushToSublimeText combines this untrusted cite-command prefix and citation keys into a string executed through sh -c by ProcessBuilder without shell escaping. A client that can cause a localhost request with application=sublime can inject shell metacharacters and execute operating-system commands as the JabRef user when a valid Sublime Text command path is configured and the victim completes the CAYW selection dialog. The built-in server is disabled by default, so exploitation requires the victim to enable it or run jabsrv. This issue is fixed in version 6.0-alpha.6.

  • Sep 17, 2026Jupyter Server is the backend for Jupyter web applications.CVE-2026-86049 · Other software · jupyter-server · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Jupyter Server is the backend for Jupyter web applications. Prior to version 2.21.0, the 5xx request logging path in jupyter_server/log.py copies the Referer header into a JSON header block without applying the token scrubbing used for the request URI. A request that returns HTTP 500 while the Referer contains a token-bearing URL can therefore write that token to server logs in plaintext. An attacker who can read those logs can recover the token and use the affected user's Jupyter Server permissions. This issue is fixed in version 2.21.0.

  • Sep 17, 2026Speakr is a personal, self-hosted web application designed for transcribing audio recordings.CVE-2026-54510 · Other software · murtaza-nasir · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Speakr is a personal, self-hosted web application designed for transcribing audio recordings. Prior to 0.8.21-alpha, the csrf_exempt_for_api_tokens() before_request hook in src/app.py calls csrf.exempt(view_func), permanently adding the selected view to Flask-WTF's process-global exemption set. The is_token_authenticated() function in src/utils/token_auth.py calls extract_token_from_request() and treats any present token, including request.args.get('token'), as authenticated without hashing the token, querying the database, or checking validity. A network-reachable attacker can therefore send a false token to disable CSRF protection for the targeted view for the worker lifetime. Because the exemption applies to the view function across HTTP methods, a cross-origin GET to /account with a query token can poison CSRF state for a later state-changing POST without triggering CORS preflight. This browser sequence requires attacker-controlled content on a sibling subdomain under the documented cookie conditions. The bypass can modify profile data, custom prompts, transcription settings, preferences, and administrative status through routes such as admin_toggle_admin. The change_password r

  • Sep 17, 2026MapServer is a system for developing web-based GIS applications.CVE-2026-54355 · Other software · MapServer · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

MapServer is a system for developing web-based GIS applications. From 6.0 until 8.6.4, MapServer's OpenLayers HTML output for SERVICE=WMS&REQUEST=GetMap&FORMAT=application/openlayers reflects an attacker-controlled X-Forwarded-Host value received as HTTP_X_FORWARDED_HOST through msBuildOnlineResource(), processLine(), and the [mapserv_onlineresource] substitution in src/maputil.c and src/maptemplate.c without escaping it for a single-quoted JavaScript string. When the deployment trusts the forwarded header and does not configure a fixed ows_onlineresource or MS_ONLINERESOURCE value, embedded single quotes can escape the generated URL string. An unauthenticated attacker can craft a URL that executes arbitrary JavaScript in the MapServer site origin when opened by a victim, enabling access to sessions or tokens, same-origin data and requests, and actions as the victim. This issue is fixed in version 8.6.4.

  • Sep 17, 2026MapServer is a system for developing web-based GIS applications.CVE-2026-54354 · Other software · MapServer · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

MapServer is a system for developing web-based GIS applications. Prior to 8.6.4, MapServer's PostGIS runtime filter translation in src/mappostgis.cpp and msPostGISLayerTranslateFilter() treats a filteritem as numeric when CONNECTIONTYPE POSTGIS and metadata such as gml_<item>_type=Integer are configured, but it does not verify that attacker-controlled CGI qstring or OGC API Features featureId input is a numeric literal. The unquoted input is concatenated into the generated PostgreSQL/PostGIS predicate, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker with access to an affected query endpoint to bypass predicates, enumerate unintended records, perform boolean-based or time-based SQL injection, and increase database load. The issue does not by itself establish database modification capabilities. This issue is fixed in version 8.6.4.

  • Sep 17, 2026The Datadog PHP Tracer provides application performance monitoring and distributed tracing for PHP.CVE-2026-50275 · Other software · DataDog · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

The Datadog PHP Tracer provides application performance monitoring and distributed tracing for PHP. Prior to 1.19.2, ddtrace_deserialize_baggage in ext/distributed_tracing_headers.c parses incoming W3C baggage HTTP headers without enforcing DD_TRACE_BAGGAGE_MAX_ITEMS or DD_TRACE_BAGGAGE_MAX_BYTES. A remote unauthenticated client can send an arbitrarily large number of comma-separated key-value pairs or a single oversized value, causing the tracer to allocate hash-map entries and consume unbounded CPU and memory on each request. Baggage extraction is enabled by default in most affected deployments unless baggage is removed from DD_TRACE_PROPAGATION_STYLE or DD_TRACE_PROPAGATION_STYLE_EXTRACT. The OpenFeature Operator allows users to expose feature flags to applications. In version 0.9.2 and earlier, a tenant who can create a controller-owned workload can use the openfeature.dev/featureflagsource annotation with NAMESPACE/NAME syntax to reference a FeatureFlagSource or InProcessConfiguration in another namespace. On multi-tenant clusters that use namespaces as trust boundaries, the cluster-scoped operator reads that resource and materializes spec.envVars literal values, spec.httpSyncBearerToken, sync URIs, and supporting ConfigMaps into the tenant's workload. Single-tenant clusters are not impacted, secretKeyRef and configMapKeyRef values remain namespace-local, and creating a FeatureFlagSource is not required.

NetLicensing MCP Server is a natural-language interface that enables agentic applications to manage the software-licensing lifecycle in Labs64 NetLicensing. Prior to 0.1.6, network-reachable HTTP transport requests to /mcp that omit x-netlicensing-api-key, Authorization: Bearer, and the apikey query parameter pass through ApiKeyMiddleware in src/netlicensing_mcp/server.py without authentication. • Sep 17, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-85720 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.0.0 until 2.16.1 and 3.0.12, a request using an HTTP proxy to reach an HTTPS origin can expose preemptive origin credentials because NettyRequestFactory and NettyRequestSender.sendRequestWithNewChannel attach Authorization to the plaintext CONNECT request before the TLS tunnel exists. Basic or Digest credentials and per-connection NTLM, Kerberos, or SPNEGO tokens intended for the origin are therefore visible to the proxy and to observers on the client-to-proxy hop. The tunneled request still receives origin Authorization after the tunnel is established, while Proxy-Authorization remains on CONNECT for its intended proxy recipient. This issue is fixed in versions 2.16.1 and 3.0.12.

  • Sep 17, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-85716 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubLow 3.7

The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 3.0.8 until 3.0.12, processScramAuthenticationInfo and processAuthenticationInfo compute the SCRAM ServerSignature or Digest rspauth verification result but log a mismatch and still deliver the response as authenticated. On a non-TLS or compromised transport, a peer that has not proved knowledge of the shared secret can therefore be accepted as the server. The fix rejects a present invalid value and computes Digest rspauth from the Authorization parameters actually sent, but verification remains unenforced when the value is absent, the sent parameters cannot be recovered, or Digest uses qop=auth-int. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.12.

  • Sep 17, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-85721 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.0.0 until 2.16.1 and 3.0.12, automatic response decompression on the HTTP/1.1 path uses ChannelManager.newHttpContentDecompressor() to install Http1ContentDecompressor without a cumulative output-size limit. A hostile or compromised server, or an attacker who can alter a response in transit, can send a small gzip, deflate, or snappy response that expands across chunks until the client exhausts its heap and raises OutOfMemoryError; brotli and zstd are also affected when their optional codecs are present. In versions 3.0.8 through 3.0.10, the HTTP/2 decompressor is also unbounded, so switching protocols does not mitigate the issue on those releases. A limit applied to each decode call is insufficient because the response can be delivered as many small chunks, so the fixed implementation tracks total decompressed bytes for the whole response. This issue is fixed in versions 2.16.1 and 3.0.12.

  • Sep 17, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-85719 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.1.0 until 2.16.1 and 3.0.12, requests using an authenticated SOCKS proxy can expose the proxy's credentials to the origin because NettyRequestFactory and NettyRequestSender attach Proxy-Authorization without confirming that the request is being sent to an HTTP proxy. With preemptive proxy authentication, the header is attached to a plaintext HTTP request, exposing credentials such as directly reversible Basic credentials to the origin. With the default non-preemptive flow, a hostile origin can return a 407 response and ProxyUnauthorized407Interceptor sends the proxy credentials through the existing SOCKS tunnel, including NTLM, Kerberos, and SPNEGO credentials. Releases before 2.1.0 lack SOCKS proxy support. This issue is fixed in versions 2.16.1 and 3.0.12.

  • Sep 17, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-85718 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9

The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 3.0.8 until 3.0.12, a client with maxConnections or maxConnectionsPerHost set above zero leaks one connection permit whenever TLS connection establishment fails before the handshake completes. NettyConnectListener removes the partitionKeyLock permit from NettyResponseFuture before every failure path is bound to the channel closeFuture, so an abort can leave the permit unreleased. Repeated failures can permanently lock out one host under a per-host limit or drain the shared pool under a global limit, blocking later requests even when no connection remains open. The default unlimited connection setting is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.12.

  • Sep 17, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-85717 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8

The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.14.5 to 2.16.0 and from 3.0.9 to 3.0.11, a client configured with a client-wide Realm and redirect following can disclose credentials after a cross-origin redirect because the Interceptors authentication path falls back to the client configuration after redirect handling clears the per-exchange realm. If the attacker-controlled target returns 401, the client can send Basic or Digest credentials or a Negotiate or NTLM token to that origin. Per-request realms are stripped correctly, and this issue is a residual bypass of the earlier cross-origin credential-stripping fixes. This issue is fixed in versions 2.16.1 and 3.0.12.

  • Sep 17, 2026Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications.CVE-2026-81868 · Other software · SteeltoeOSS · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications. Prior to 4.3.0, Steeltoe.Security.Authorization.Certificate deployments using AddOrgAndSpacePolicies() and UseCertificateAuthorization() trust the public certificate supplied in the X-Client-Cert request header without proving possession of the corresponding private key. Common Cloud Foundry routers do not remove this header from inbound requests. When inbound requests are not restricted to a known trusted proxy source IP, an attacker who obtains the public certificate of an application instance in the target organization or space and can reach the application can spoof X-Client-Cert to bypass the SameOrg and SameSpace policies for the certificate validity period. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0.

Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications. From 4.0.0 until 4.3.0, ConsulDiscoveryClient constructs ConsulServiceInstance objects by parsing each registration's secure metadata with a strict Boolean conversion. A principal that can register a Consul service can supply a secure value other than true or false, causing the exception from one instance to abort construction of the entire instance list and make the targeted service undiscoverable. When GetAllInstancesAsync enumerates all services, one malformed instance can abort enumeration across every service. The outage persists until the offending registration is removed. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0.

Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications. Prior to 4.3.0, the Steeltoe.Management.Endpoint /actuator/httpexchanges endpoint passes recorded request URIs through MaskedUri, which masks URI user information but does not inspect query strings. When Management:Endpoints:HttpExchanges:IncludeQueryString is enabled, the HttpExchangeRequest response can disclose OAuth tokens, password-reset tokens, signed-URL signatures, API keys, and other query-string secrets from prior traffic to a caller that can reach the explicitly exposed endpoint. The Steeltoe.Management.Endpoint.Actuators.HttpExchanges DEBUG logger also records these URIs, creating a second disclosure channel for users with log access. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0.

  • Sep 17, 2026MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases.CVE-2026-61700 · Other software · mariadb-corporation · reported by GitHubLow 3.7

MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. Prior to 2.7.14, 3.3.5, 3.4.3, and 3.5.9, ClientMessage.readPacket processes a server-initiated LOCAL INFILE protocol packet 0xfb without enforcing allowLocalInfile=false. When an application sends a LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE COM_QUERY, a rogue or man-in-the-middle server can echo the same filename and cause the connector to transmit that file despite the disabled option. The server cannot redirect the request to an arbitrary path and can receive only the exact file already selected by the application, so exploitation requires an application that actively loads sensitive data over an untrusted connection. This issue is fixed in versions 2.7.14, 3.3.5, 3.4.3, and 3.5.9.

  • Sep 17, 2026Improper Output Neutralization for Logs vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an unauthenticated attacker to forge application log entries by sCVE-2026-86522 · Other software · team-alembic · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.3

Improper Output Neutralization for Logs vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an unauthenticated attacker to forge application log entries by submitting a password reset identity containing newlines or control characters. AshAuthentication.Strategy.Password.RequestPasswordReset.run/3 interpolates the identity argument, the email or username taken straight from the reset request, into its Logger.warning/1 heredocs without escaping, truncating or type-restricting it. The resource logged beside it is passed through inspect/1, which would have neutralized the value. A newline in the identity therefore ends the log record, and everything after it is written as a line of its own, so an attacker chooses the severity tag and the content of entries that appear to have come from the application. This issue affects ash_authentication: from 4.2.0 before 4.15.0 and from 5.0.0-rc.0 before 5.0.0-rc.14.

A flaw was found in SmallRye JWT's AwsAlbKeyResolver, which is used by applications to verify JSON Web Tokens signed by AWS Application Load Balancers. When the AWS_ALB key provider is configured, the resolver constructs the key-fetch URL by directly concatenating the attacker-controlled kid header value from an inbound JWT without sanitizing path traversal characters or query-string separators. This allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to force the application server to issue GET requests to arbitrary paths on the same origin as the configured key endpoint. As a result, non-public endpoints or internal data reachable on that origin may be read by the attacker before JWT signature verification takes place.
