  • May 12, 2026An attacker can cause uncontrolled memory usage with excessive bracing over IMAP.CVE-2026-42006 · Other software · Open-Xchange GmbH · reported by security@open-xchange.comMedium 4.3

An attacker can cause uncontrolled memory usage with excessive bracing over IMAP. The fix in CVE-2026-27857 was incomplete, only blocking one way of doing this, so there was still another way left open. In particular, the fix was for closing braces, but you could still use open braces to bypass the limit. Using excessive bracing, attacker can cause memory usage up to configured memory limit. Install fixed version, or configure vsz_limit for imap process to low value. No publicly available exploits are known.

This allows pm_runtime_disable() to handle reference count cleanup correctly regardless of current suspend state. The driver calls pm_runtime_put_sync() unconditionally in remove, but the device may already be suspended due to autosuspend configured in probe. When autosuspend has already suspended the device, the usage count is 0, and pm_runtime_put_sync() decrements it to -1. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cifs: Fix locking usage for tcon fields We used to use the cifs_tcp_ses_lock to protect a lot of objects that are not just the server, ses or tcon lists. We later introduced srv_lock, ses_lock and tc_lock to protect fields within the corresponding structs. This was done to provide a more granular protection and avoid unnecessary serialization. There were still a couple of uses of cifs_tcp_ses_lock to provide tcon fields. In this patch, I've replaced them with tc_lock.

  • Apr 27, 2026The Camel-Mail component is vulnerable to Camel message header injection.CVE-2026-33454 · Email & office · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgCritical 9.4

The Camel-Mail component is vulnerable to Camel message header injection. The custom header filter strategy used by the component (MailHeaderFilterStrategy) only filters the 'out' direction via setOutFilterStartsWith, while it does not configure the 'in' direction via setInFilterStartsWith. As a result, when a Camel application consumes mail through camel-mail (for example via from(\"imap://...\") or from(\"pop3://...\")) the inbound filter check is skipped and Camel-prefixed MIME headers are mapped unfiltered into the Exchange. An attacker who can deliver an email to a mailbox monitored by such a consumer can inject Camel-specific headers that, for some Camel components downstream of the mail consumer (such as camel-bean, camel-exec, or camel-sql), can alter the behaviour of the route. This is the same pattern that was previously addressed in camel-undertow (CVE-2025-30177) and the broader incoming-header filter (CVE-2025-27636 and CVE-2025-29891). This issue affects Apache Camel: from 3.0.0 before 4.14.6, from 4.15.0 before 4.18.1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.19.0, which fixes the issue. JmsBinding.extractBodyFromJms() in camel-jms, and the equivalent JmsBinding class in camel-sjms, deserialized the payload of incoming JMS ObjectMessage values via javax.jms.ObjectMessage.getObject() without applying any ObjectInputFilter, class allowlist or class denylist. Because this code path is reached whenever the mapJmsMessage option is enabled (the default) and Camel acts as a JMS consumer, an attacker able to publish a crafted ObjectMessage to a queue or topic consumed by a Camel application could achieve remote code execution when a deserialization gadget chain was present on the classpath. The same handling was reached transitively through camel-sjms2 (whose Sjms2Endpoint extends SjmsEndpoint) and through camel-amqp (whose AMQPJmsBinding extends JmsBinding), and by other JMS-family components built on JmsComponent such as camel-activemq and camel-activemq6. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 3.0.0 before 4.14.7, from 4.15.0 before 4.18.2, from 4.19.0 before 4.20.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.20.0, which fixes the issue. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/core: avoid use of half-online-committed context One major usage of damon_call() is online DAMON parameters update. It is done by calling damon_commit_ctx() inside the damon_call() callback function. damon_commit_ctx() can fail for two reasons: 1) invalid parameters and 2) internal memory allocation failures. In case of failures, the damon_ctx that attempted to be updated (commit destination) can be partially updated (or, corrupted from a perspective), and therefore shouldn't be used anymore. The function only ensures the damon_ctx object can safely deallocated using damon_destroy_ctx(). The API callers are, however, calling damon_commit_ctx() only after asserting the parameters are valid, to avoid damon_commit_ctx() fails due to invalid input parameters. But it can still theoretically fail if the internal memory allocation fails. In the case, DAMON may run with the partially updated damon_ctx. This can result in unexpected behaviors including even NULL pointer dereference in case of damos_commit_dests() failure [1]. Such allocation failure is arguably too small to fail, so the real world impact

A Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was identified in the `from_dict` method of the `AppLollmsMessage` class in parisneo/lollms prior to version 2.2.0. The vulnerability arises from the lack of sanitization or HTML encoding of the `content` field when deserializing user-provided data. This allows an attacker to inject malicious HTML or JavaScript payloads, which can be executed in the context of another user's browser. Exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to account takeover, session hijacking, or wormable attacks.

  • Apr 9, 2026Rapid7 Velociraptor versions prior to 0.76.2 contain an improper input validation vulnerability in the client monitoring message handler on the Velociraptor serCVE-2026-5329 · Other software · Rapid7 · reported by cve@rapid7.comHigh 8.5

Rapid7 Velociraptor versions prior to 0.76.2 contain an improper input validation vulnerability in the client monitoring message handler on the Velociraptor server (primarily Linux) that allows an authenticated remote attacker to write to arbitrary internal server queues via a crafted monitoring message with a malicious queue name. The server handler that receives client monitoring messages does not sufficiently validate the queue name supplied by the client, allowing a rogue client to write arbitrary messages to privileged internal queues. This may lead to remote code execution on the Velociraptor server. Rapid7 Hosted Velociraptor instances are not affected by this vulnerability.

  • Apr 7, 2026Issue summary: During processing of a crafted CMS EnvelopedData message with KeyTransportRecipientInfo a NULL pointer dereference can happen.CVE-2026-28390 · Websites & servers · OpenSSL · reported by openssl-security@openssl.orgHigh 7.5

Issue summary: During processing of a crafted CMS EnvelopedData message with KeyTransportRecipientInfo a NULL pointer dereference can happen. Impact summary: Applications that process attacker-controlled CMS data may crash before authentication or cryptographic operations occur resulting in Denial of Service. When a CMS EnvelopedData message that uses KeyTransportRecipientInfo with RSA-OAEP encryption is processed, the optional parameters field of RSA-OAEP SourceFunc algorithm identifier is examined without checking for its presence. This results in a NULL pointer dereference if the field is missing. Applications and services that call CMS_decrypt() on untrusted input (e.g., S/MIME processing or CMS-based protocols) are vulnerable. The FIPS modules in 3.6, 3.5, 3.4, 3.3 and 3.0 are not affected by this issue, as the affected code is outside the OpenSSL FIPS module boundary.
