  • Aug 24, 2026jackson-databind contains the general-purpose data-binding functionality and tree-model for Jackson Data Processor.CVE-2026-77310 · Other software · FasterXML · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

jackson-databind contains the general-purpose data-binding functionality and tree-model for Jackson Data Processor. Prior to versions 2.18.9, 2.21.5, 2.22.1, 3.1.5, and 3.2.1 on their respective release lines, the java.net.InetAddress branch of FromStringDeserializer.Std._deserialize() calls InetAddress.getByName() on attacker-controlled input, causing eager DNS resolution during deserialization and enabling DNS-based server-side request forgery and internal-host enumeration. This issue is fixed in versions 2.18.9, 2.21.5, 2.22.1, 3.1.5, and 3.2.1.

  • Aug 24, 2026Hi.Events validates a webhook destination only when it is registered, never when it is used.CVE-2026-76838 · Other software · HiEventsDev · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.4

Hi.Events validates a webhook destination only when it is registered, never when it is used. NoInternalUrlRule in backend/app/Validators/Rules/NoInternalUrlRule.php resolves the hostname with gethostbyname() and rejects private and reserved ranges, which any public hostname passes. At dispatch, WebhookDispatchService takes the stored URL and calls it through spatie/laravel-webhook-server without repeating the check, and backend/config/webhook-server.php sets no Guzzle options, so redirect following remains enabled by default. A destination that answers with a redirect to a loopback, private or cloud metadata address therefore causes the server to issue that request, and changing the hostname's DNS record after registration reaches the same result because no resolution is repeated. The response is not discarded: WebhookResponseHandlerService stores the body on the webhook log and WebhookLogResource returns it from the webhook logs endpoint, so the requester reads what the internal service replied rather than inferring it. Both event and organizer webhooks share the rule and the dispatch path. Version 1.11.1-beta revalidates at dispatch, pins the validated address, checks every redir

  • Aug 24, 2026rConfig Core 8.0.0 before 8.2.10 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to self-register accounts with full AdminCVE-2026-77915 · Other software · rconfig · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3

rConfig Core 8.0.0 before 8.2.10 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to self-register accounts with full Administrator privileges due to a duplicate bare Auth::routes() call in routes/web.php that re-enables the POST /register route after it was explicitly disabled. Attackers can register a new account that is immediately authenticated with Admin-level access because the registration controller does not assign a role and the users.role column defaults to Admin, enabling access to stored device credentials, user data, and API token issuance.

  • Aug 24, 2026The official Flair wheels for 0.15.0 and 0.15.1 still contain flair/models/clustering.py, whose ClusteringModel.load static method returns pickle.loads(joblib.lCVE-2026-76843 · Other software · flairNLP · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.4

The official Flair wheels for 0.15.0 and 0.15.1 still contain flair/models/clustering.py, whose ClusteringModel.load static method returns pickle.loads(joblib.load(str(model_file))) and so executes arbitrary Python while loading a model file. Loading a model supplied by an attacker therefore runs that attacker's code with the privileges of the loading process. This is the same sink and the same file as CVE-2024-10073, which records 0.15.0 as the fixed version on the basis that clustering support was dropped in that release; the module was removed from the documented API but remains present in the distributed artifact and reachable by importing flair.models.clustering directly, so the earlier record's fixed version does not hold for the shipped package.

  • Aug 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: ebt_nflog: pin the NFLOG backend nf_log_unregister() runs after the per-net teaCVE-2026-74660 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: ebt_nflog: pin the NFLOG backend nf_log_unregister() runs after the per-net teardown so its final RCU grace period also drains readers that obtained the logger from a per-net binding. However, ebt_nflog passes an explicit ULOG log type to nf_log_packet() without holding a reference on the selected logger module, unlike the xt_NFLOG and nft_log frontends. An ebtables nflog rule can therefore remain callable while nfnetlink_log is unloaded. The resulting interleaving is: CPU 0 CPU 1 nfnetlink_log_fini() unregister_pernet_subsys() kfree(nfnl_log_pernet(net)) ebt_nflog_tg() nf_log_packet() nfulnl_log_packet() instance_lookup_get_rcu() The global ULOG logger is still registered at this point, so CPU 1 dereferences the per-net state after CPU 0 has freed it. • Aug 22, 2026Punk::OAuth2::Server versions through 0.03 for Perl issue access tokens outside a client's registered scopes and grant types because no authorization path readsCVE-2026-75866 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.1

Punk::OAuth2::Server versions through 0.03 for Perl issue access tokens outside a client's registered scopes and grant types because no authorization path reads them. Punk::OAuth2::Server::Store registers scopes and grant_types per client and documents both as client registration. token dispatches on the grant_type in the request body, so a client registered for authorization_code alone can ask for client_credentials, and that arm passes the requested scope straight to the minter, which signs it into the at+jwt access token. authorize copies the query scope into the authorization code record without comparing it against the registration, leaving the optional consent hook as the only check between an arbitrary scope and the issued code. redirect_uris on the same client row is read and enforced. A registered client can obtain a correctly signed token carrying any scope it names, and a resource server running Punk::OAuth2::Checker accepts that token and honours the scope. A client registered without a secret authenticates on its client_id alone, so anyone who knows that identifier can request one.

A flaw was found in the multicloud-operators-subscription component of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (RHACM). A tenant with HelmRelease create permissions can exploit this vulnerability by manipulating the `secretRef.Namespace` field. This allows the `GetSecret()` function in the HelmRelease controller to fetch sensitive credentials from any namespace, which are then sent to an attacker-controlled Helm repository. This can lead to the exfiltration of credentials from arbitrary namespace Secrets, resulting in information disclosure.

  • Aug 20, 2026A flaw was found in Lighthouse.CVE-2026-66788 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatCritical 9.9

A flaw was found in Lighthouse. A remote attacker, by compromising a spoke cluster, can exploit a vulnerability where the destination namespace for resource injection is derived from an attacker-controlled label or annotation on the broker object. This allows the attacker to inject unauthorized EndpointSlices and ServiceImports into any namespace on peer clusters, including critical system namespaces like kube-system and openshift-*. This could lead to privilege escalation or other forms of system compromise within the cluster.

A flaw was found in the lighthouse component of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes. This vulnerability stems from insufficient validation of advertised IP addresses within EndpointSlice objects. A compromised spoke cluster can exploit this by creating EndpointSlices with attacker-controlled IP addresses, causing other clusters' lighthouse DNS to redirect legitimate service traffic to malicious endpoints. This enables a remote attacker to conduct transparent Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attacks on cross-cluster service communications, potentially leading to unauthorized information disclosure and data manipulation.

  • Aug 19, 2026A flaw was found in search-v2-operator.CVE-2026-70496 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatCritical 9.9

A flaw was found in search-v2-operator. The operator's ClusterRole has permissions equivalent to a cluster administrator, allowing it to impersonate other entities, write Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) configurations, approve Certificate Signing Requests (CSRs), and manage ManifestWork. This grants excessive privileges beyond what is necessary for the operator's intended function, potentially leading to privilege escalation within the cluster.

A flaw was found in the `cluster-proxy-addon` component of Multicluster Engine for Kubernetes. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker, who can access the user-facing route, to bypass authentication and authorization checks. By manipulating URL path segments, the attacker can proxy requests to arbitrary services across any managed cluster. This enables unauthorized access to internal services that would otherwise be protected, potentially leading to information disclosure or further compromise of the cluster environment.

  • Aug 19, 2026A flaw was found in volsync-addon-controller.CVE-2026-18874 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.2

A flaw was found in volsync-addon-controller. This vulnerability allows an attacker to inject malicious YAML (Yet Another Markup Language) code into the OpenShift Lifecycle Manager (OLM) Subscription resource. This is due to improper escaping of annotation values when they are rendered into YAML. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized modification or control over OLM Subscription configurations, potentially impacting software management within the cluster. This issue primarily affects systems where the 'volsync-addon-deploy-type: olm' annotation is explicitly enabled.

A flaw was found in the search-v2-operator. This vulnerability allows a privileged user, specifically a Custom Resource (CR) editor, to manipulate Search CR fields such as imageOverride, arguments, and environment variables without proper validation. By exploiting this, an attacker can mount arbitrary secrets into a search container's environment or replace the container image with an attacker-controlled one. This leads to privilege escalation and can result in a full cluster compromise due to the ServiceAccount's extensive impersonation permissions.

  • Aug 19, 2026A flaw was found in mod_cluster's AdvertiseListenerImpl (org.jboss.modcluster core module).CVE-2026-76166 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 4.3

A flaw was found in mod_cluster's AdvertiseListenerImpl (org.jboss.modcluster core module). A single crafted UDP multicast datagram with a valid HTTP status line and a "Server:" header but without the "Date:", "Digest:", and "Sequence:" headers triggers a NullPointerException in verifyDigest() that is not caught by the worker thread's exception handler. This causes the advertise listener thread to terminate permanently. The failure is silent (isListening() continues to return true) and persists until the node is restarted. The crash occurs before the AdvertiseSecurityKey comparison, so deployments with a configured security key are still affected.

  • Aug 18, 2026A flaw was found in the submariner-operator component.CVE-2026-66780 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.5

A flaw was found in the submariner-operator component. The `submariner-k8s-broker-cluster` Role, which is assigned to joined clusters, possesses excessive permissions. This allows a compromised cluster to alter network configurations, specifically by overwriting other clusters' endpoint information. Consequently, an attacker can redirect inter-cluster tunnel traffic, enabling a Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attack across the entire cluster mesh.
