  • Mar 30, 2026The Debugger & Troubleshooter plugin for WordPress was vulnerable to Unauthenticated Privilege Escalation in versions up to and including 1.3.2.CVE-2026-5130 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The Debugger & Troubleshooter plugin for WordPress was vulnerable to Unauthenticated Privilege Escalation in versions up to and including 1.3.2. This was due to the plugin accepting the wp_debug_troubleshoot_simulate_user cookie value directly as a user ID without any cryptographic validation or authorization checks. The cookie value was used to override the determine_current_user filter, which allowed unauthenticated attackers to impersonate any user by simply setting the cookie to their target user ID. This made it possible for unauthenticated attackers to gain administrator-level access and perform any privileged actions including creating new administrator accounts, modifying site content, installing plugins, or taking complete control of the WordPress site. The vulnerability was fixed in version 1.4.0 by implementing a cryptographic token-based validation system where only administrators can initiate user simulation, and the cookie contains a random 64-character token that must be validated against database-stored mappings rather than accepting arbitrary user IDs.

    Affected
    up to 1.3.2
    Fixed in
    1.4.0
    What to do
Update the plugin to 1.4.0 or newer.

  • Mar 24, 2026JetEngine: SQL InjectionCVE-2026-4662 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The JetEngine plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the `listing_load_more` AJAX action in all versions up to, and including, 3.8.6.1. This is due to the `filtered_query` parameter being excluded from the HMAC signature validation (allowing attacker-controlled input to bypass security checks) combined with the `prepare_where_clause()` method in the SQL Query Builder not sanitizing the `compare` operator before concatenating it into SQL statements. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database, provided the site has a JetEngine Listing Grid with Load More enabled that uses a SQL Query Builder query.

  • Feb 28, 2026WP Mail Logging: PHP Object InjectionCVE-2026-2471 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The WP Mail Logging plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 1.15.0 via deserialization of untrusted input from the email log message field. This is due to the `BaseModel` class constructor calling `maybe_unserialize()` on all properties retrieved from the database without validation. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject a PHP Object by submitting a double-serialized payload through any public-facing form that sends email (e.g., Contact Form 7). When the email is logged and subsequently viewed by an administrator, the malicious payload is deserialized into an arbitrary PHP object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, which means this vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it may allow the attacker to perform actions like delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code depending on the POP chain present.

  • Feb 23, 2026Aruba HiSpeed Cache (aruba-hispeed-cache) WordPress plugin versions prior to 3.0.5 contain a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting multiple CVE-2026-23694 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.1

Aruba HiSpeed Cache (aruba-hispeed-cache) WordPress plugin versions prior to 3.0.5 contain a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting multiple administrative AJAX actions. The handlers for ahsc_reset_options, ahsc_debug_status, and ahsc_enable_purge perform authentication and capability checks but do not verify a WordPress nonce for state-changing requests. An attacker can induce a logged-in administrator to visit a malicious webpage that submits forged requests to admin-ajax.php, resulting in unauthorized resetting of plugin settings, toggling of the WordPress WP_DEBUG configuration, or modification of cache purging behavior without the administrator’s intent.

    What to do

ElementsKit Elementor Addons – Advanced Widgets & Templates Addons for Elementor (elementskit-lite) WordPress plugin versions prior to 3.7.9 expose the REST endpoint /wp-json/elementskit/v1/widget/mailchimp/subscribe without authentication. An unauthenticated attacker can abuse the endpoint as an open proxy to Mailchimp, potentially triggering unauthorized API calls, manipulating subscription data, exhausting API quotas, or causing resource consumption on the affected WordPress site.
