Apr 23, 2026Contour is a Kubernetes ingress controller using Envoy proxy.CVE-2026-41246 · Other software · projectcontour · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
Contour is a Kubernetes ingress controller using Envoy proxy. From v1.19.0 to before v1.33.4, v1.32.5, and v1.31.6, Contour's Cookie Rewriting feature is vulnerable to Lua code injection. An attacker with RBAC permissions to create or modify HTTPProxy resources can craft a malicious value in spec.routes[].cookieRewritePolicies[].pathRewrite.value or spec.routes[].services[].cookieRewritePolicies[].pathRewrite.value that results in arbitrary code execution in the Envoy proxy. The cookie rewriting feature is internally implemented using Envoy's HTTP Lua filter. User-controlled values are interpolated into Lua source code using Go text/template without sufficient sanitization. The injected code only executes when processing traffic on the attacker's own route, which they already control. However, since Envoy runs as shared infrastructure, the injected code can also read Envoy's xDS client credentials from the filesystem or cause denial of service for other tenants sharing the Envoy instance. This vulnerability is fixed in v1.33.4, v1.32.5, and v1.31.6.

Apr 9, 2026Flux notification-controller is the event forwarder and notification dispatcher for the GitOps Toolkit controllers.CVE-2026-40109 · Other software · fluxcd · reported by GitHubLow 3.1
Flux notification-controller is the event forwarder and notification dispatcher for the GitOps Toolkit controllers. Prior to 1.8.3, the gcr Receiver type in Flux notification-controller does not validate the email claim of Google OIDC tokens used for Pub/Sub push authentication. This allows any valid Google-issued token, to authenticate against the Receiver webhook endpoint, triggering unauthorized Flux reconciliations. Exploitation requires the attacker to know the Receiver's webhook URL. The webhook path is generated as /hook/sha256sum(token+name+namespace), where the token is a random string stored in a Kubernetes Secret. There is no API or endpoint that enumerates webhook URLs. An attacker cannot discover the path without either having access to the cluster and permissions to read the Receiver's .status.webhookPath in the target namespace, or obtaining the URL through other means (e.g. leaked secrets or access to Pub/Sub config). Upon successful authentication, the controller triggers a reconciliation for all resources listed in the Receiver's .spec.resources. However, the practical impact is limited: Flux reconciliation is idempotent, so if the desired state in the configured

If any of the subsequent steps fail (changing the controller state, scheduling connect work, etc.), we jump to the fail_ctrl path, which tears down the controller references but never frees the admin queue/tag set. The leaked blk-mq allocations match the kmemleak report seen during blktests nvme/fc. Tinycontrol devices such as tcPDU and LAN Controllers LK3.5, LK3.9 and LK4 have two separate authentication mechanisms - one solely for interface management and one for protecting all other server resources. When the latter is turned off (which is a default setting), an unauthenticated attacker on the local network can obtain usernames and encoded passwords for interface management portal by inspecting the HTTP response of the server when visiting the login page, which contains a JSON file with these details. Both normal and admin users credentials are exposed. The Honeywell IQ4x building management controller, exposes its full web-based HMI without authentication in its factory-default configuration. With no user module configured, security is disabled by design and the system operates under a System Guest (level 100) context, granting read/write privileges to any party able to reach the HTTP interface. Authentication controls are only enforced after a web user is created via U.htm, which dynamically enables the user module. Because this function is accessible prior to authentication, a remote user can create a new account with administrative read/write permissions enabling the user module and imposing authentication under attacker-controlled credentials. This action can effectively lock legitimate operators out of local and web-based configuration and administration.

In 2026.01 and earlier, the default handler for the well_known_core resource coap_well_known_core_default_handler writes user-provided option data and other data into a fixed size buffer without validating the buffer is large enough to contain the response. This vulnerability allows an attacker to corrupt neighboring stack location, including security-sensitive addresses like the return address, leading to denial of service or arbitrary code execution.

Affected devices do not properly sanitize contents of trace files. This could allow an attacker to inject code through social engineering an authorized user, who has the function right "Read diagnostics", to import a specially crafted trace file. The malicious trace file is insufficiently sanitized and malicious code could be executed in the clients browser session and trigger PLC operations via the webserver that the legitimate user is authorized to perform.

Mar 10, 2026Kubewarden is a policy engine for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-29773 · Other software · kubewarden · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3
Kubewarden is a policy engine for Kubernetes. Kubewarden cluster operators can grant permissions to users to deploy namespaced AdmissionPolicies and AdmissionPolicyGroups in their Namespaces. One of Kubewarden promises is that configured users can deploy namespaced policies in a safe manner, without privilege escalation. An attacker with privileged "AdmissionPolicy" create permissions (which isn't the default) could make use of 3 deprecated host-callback APIs: kubernetes/ingresses, kubernetes/namespaces, kubernetes/services. The attacker can craft a policy that exercises these deprecated API calls and would allow them read access to Ingresses, Namespaces, and Services resources respectively. This attack is read-only, there is no write capability and no access to Secrets, ConfigMaps, or other resource types beyond these three.

Mar 5, 2026Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in hexpm hexpm/hexpm ('Elixir.HexpmWeb.API.OAuthController' module) allows Privilege Escalation.CVE-2026-21621 · Other software · hexpm · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 7
Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in hexpm hexpm/hexpm ('Elixir.HexpmWeb.API.OAuthController' module) allows Privilege Escalation. An API key created with read-only permissions (domain: "api", resource: "read") can be escalated to full write access under specific conditions. When exchanging a read-only API key via the OAuth client_credentials grant, the resource qualifier is ignored. The resulting JWT receives the broad "api" scope instead of the expected "api:read" scope. This token is therefore treated as having full API access. If an attacker is able to obtain a victim's read-only API key and a valid 2FA (TOTP) code for the victim account, they can use the incorrectly scoped JWT to create a new full-access API key with unrestricted API permissions that does not expire by default and can perform write operations such as publishing, retiring, or modifying packages. This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/hexpm_web/controllers/api/oauth_controller.ex and program routines 'Elixir.HexpmWeb.API.OAuthController':validate_scopes_against_key/2. This issue affects hexpm: from 71829cb6f6559bcceb1ef4e43a2fb8cdd3af654b before 71c127afebb7ed7cc637eb231b98feb802d62999.

Feb 25, 2026Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Controller and Manager Authentication Bypass VulnerabilityCVE-2026-20127 · Network & remote access · Cisco · reported by psirt@cisco.comExploitedCritical 10
Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Controller, formerly SD-WAN vSmart, and Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Manager, formerly SD-WAN vManage, contain an authentication bypass vulnerability could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass authentication and obtain administrative privileges on an affected system. This vulnerability exists because the peering authentication mechanism in an affected system is not working properly. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted requests to an affected system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to log in to an affected Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Controller as an internal, high-privileged, non-root user account. Using this account, the attacker could access NETCONF, which would then allow the attacker to manipulate network configuration for the SD-WAN fabric.

The com.epson.InstallNavi.helper tool, deployed with the EPSON printer driver installer, contains a local privilege escalation vulnerability due to multiple flaws in its implementation. It fails to properly authenticate clients over the XPC protocol and does not correctly enforce macOS’s authorization model, exposing privileged functionality to untrusted users. Although it invokes the AuthorizationCopyRights API, it does so using overly permissive custom rights that it registers in the system’s authorization database (/var/db/auth.db). These rights can be requested and granted by the authorization daemon to any local user, regardless of privilege level. As a result, an attacker can exploit the vulnerable service to perform privileged operations such as executing arbitrary commands or installing system components without requiring administrative credentials.
