In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: sco: Fix a race condition in sco_sock_timeout() sco_sock_timeout() runs asynchronously and lock_sock(sk). If the socket is closing while the timer is running, it holds the same lock (lock_sock(sk)) twice, leading to a deadlock. Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: synproxy: fix unaligned memory access in timestamp adjustment Use get_unalignedCVE-2026-80637 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: synproxy: fix unaligned memory access in timestamp adjustment Use get_unaligned_be32() and put_unaligned_be32() to safely read and write the timestamp fields. This prevents performance degradation due to unaligned memory access or even a crash on strict alignment architectures. This follows the implementation of timestamp parsing in the networking stack at tcp_parse_options() and synproxy_parse_options().

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/amdxdna: Fix iommu domain lifetime race during device removal When force_iova mode is enabled, amdxdna_remove() frees xdna->domain. If amdxdna_gem_obj_free() is called after device removal, it may attempt to access xdna->domain, resulting in a use-after-free. Fix the race by adding freeing xdna->domain as a managed release action, so its lifetime is managed by DRM and remains valid until all managed resources are released.

Aug 27, 2026Affected versions of Flowintel construct timeline HTML using attacker-controllable MISP object fields such as: * object UUID; * object name; * CVE-2026-81820 · Other software · flowintel · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.1
Affected versions of Flowintel construct timeline HTML using attacker-controllable MISP object fields such as: * object UUID; * object name; * attribute value; * attribute type; * comment; * first/last seen values; * IDS flag. Those values were concatenated directly into HTML strings before rendering. The upstream commit explicitly states that DOMPurify removed XSS vectors but still allowed other HTML elements, such as forms, through. The fix replaces direct string interpolation with DOM construction via document.createElement() and assigns all attacker-controlled values using textContent. The headline is similarly converted to escaped HTML through a temporary element. Version impacted =>3.3.0

Aug 27, 2026tiger-gh-mcp-server started its MCP HTTP transport without enabling the host allow-list the underlying SDK provides.CVE-2026-81100 · Other software · timescale · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.6
tiger-gh-mcp-server started its MCP HTTP transport without enabling the host allow-list the underlying SDK provides. src/httpServer.ts called the shared httpServerFactory helper and never set the DNS-rebinding-protection option, so the transport accepted a request whatever host it named, making the locally reachable GitHub MCP endpoint drivable from a page in a visitor's browser that pointed a name it controlled at the bound address. The fix passes the option explicitly alongside a dependency update; the update alone would not have closed it. The repository has published no release that brackets the fix, so the affected boundary is the commit preceding it.

In CodeMeter Runtime before versions 8.41a and 9.10, the logger does not sanitize input strings in certain cases, allowing an attacker to inject printf-style format specifiers. This can be used to reliably crash CodeMeter and disclose sensitive information such as process memory and stack canaries. The attack works locally, for example by using cmu --set-proxy to set the proxy value, and remotely when combined with CVE-2026-81573 by setting General.ProxyServer and then triggering this vulnerability.

Aug 27, 2026If CodeMeter Runtime before 8.41a or 9.10 is configured as a server, the configuration command handler does not enforce network- origin restrictions.CVE-2026-81573 · Other software · wibu-systems-ag · reported by 2fc02b1f-71e7-4514-a878-169626f68903High 8.6
If CodeMeter Runtime before 8.41a or 9.10 is configured as a server, the configuration command handler does not enforce network- origin restrictions. Commands intended only for local or same-network clients can therefore be executed by arbitrary remote peers. An attacker can read potentially sensitive configuration data and overwrite selected values in Server.ini. This does include the hash of the credentials for the CodeMeter WebAdmin, enabling WebAdmin takeover.

In CodeMeter Runtime from version 8.40 to (excluding) 8.41a and 9.00 to (excluding) 9.10, cmu.exe --create-io --file C: creates a predictable temporary file under C:\CM-Stick. The directory and file paths are not properly checked for NTFS reparse points, such as junctions or symbolic links, before file operations are performed. A local attacker can create a junction at the temporary file that points to an arbitrary system path. Because CodeMeter Runtime runs with System privileges, this could allow arbitrary files to be deleted with System privileges and potentially enable local privilege escalation.

Aug 26, 2026NebulaGraph exposes its runtime configuration over an unauthenticated HTTP service.CVE-2026-81032 · Other software · vesoft-inc · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3
NebulaGraph exposes its runtime configuration over an unauthenticated HTTP service. Each daemon starts the web service defined in src/webservice/WebService.cpp, whose bind address defaults to all interfaces, and registers routes for reading and writing gflags alongside status and statistics. Neither the service nor its router carries any authentication, token check or address restriction. The read route returns the daemon's full set of runtime flag values, which includes the configured certificate, key and certificate-authority paths, the password file path, data directories and the transport-security enable flags. The write route parses a supplied map and applies each entry through the gflags runtime setter, so a caller able to reach the port can change the daemon's behaviour without restarting it, including disabling the transport-security flags, redirecting log files and altering flags such as failed_login_attempts and password_lock_time_in_secs. Public reports of this endpoint describe a single name, enable_authorize, being refused by the handler; at release 3.8.0 that refusal is not present and the handler applies every name it is given.

Aug 26, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: block: stop the timeout timer when releasing a never added disk disk_release() undoes blk_CVE-2026-80589 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: block: stop the timeout timer when releasing a never added disk disk_release() undoes blk_mq_init_allocated_queue() for a disk whose probe failed before add_disk(), but it only calls blk_mq_exit_queue(). Nothing there stops q->timeout, and that timer rolls forward: it stays pending until it next expires, not until the last request completes. So if the driver issued any I/O before adding the disk, the request_queue is freed while still linked into a timer wheel bucket. Commit 6f8191fdf41d ("block: simplify disk shutdown") dropped the blk_cleanup_queue() call that used to stop it. __del_gendisk() and blk_mq_destroy_queue() still do; only the probe failure path lost it. nvme gets there because nvme_update_ns_info() submits Report Zones or FDP io-mgmt-recv on ns->queue before the disk is added, so a later failure - a concurrent reset setting NVME_CTRL_FROZEN, or device_add_disk() failing - lands in put_disk() with the timer armed: BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in detach_if_pending+0x30c/0x340 Write of size 8 at addr ffff888004d71310 by task kworker/u8:2/37 __timer_delete_sync+0x156/0x240 kernel/time/time

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: SOF: ipc4-pcm: Continue the pipeline trigger in case of IPC timeout Ignore IPC errors for pipeline state change if the firmware state is crashed or the IPC has timed out. If the firmware has crashed the kernel still needs to go through the state changes to reset its internal to be able to correctly work the next time the DSP is booted up. The case with IPC timeout is a bit more problematic, but it has been rootcaused to be the result of system scheduling blockage and the firmware did actually received and handled the message, but the reply handling got blocked by issues outside of the SOF stack. So far the best way to handle this is to continue with setting the state.

Aug 26, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: byd - synchronize timer deletion before freeing private data byd_disconnect() uses CVE-2026-80572 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: byd - synchronize timer deletion before freeing private data byd_disconnect() uses timer_delete() before freeing the driver's private data. This does not wait for a running byd_clear_touch() callback, which dereferences the private data and its psmouse pointer. A callback racing with disconnect can therefore access the private data after it has been freed. The timer can also still be re-armed by byd_process_byte() while the disconnect is in progress. Use timer_shutdown_sync() before freeing the private data: it waits for a running callback and turns any later re-arm attempt into a no-op.

Aug 26, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: core: pair EH runtime PM get and put shost->eh_noresume is currently consulted twiceCVE-2026-74754 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: core: pair EH runtime PM get and put shost->eh_noresume is currently consulted twice in one error handling iteration: once before scsi_autopm_get_host() and once again before scsi_autopm_put_host(). That is racy when a PM-triggered error path flips shost->eh_noresume while the SCSI EH thread is still running. The problem flow looks like this: PM path ufshcd_set_dev_pwr_mode() shost->eh_noresume = 1 ufshcd_execute_start_stop <-- trigger EH ... shost->eh_noresume = 0 EH path scsi_error_handler() if (!shost->eh_noresume) scsi_autopm_get_host() <-- skipped ... if (!shost->eh_noresume) scsi_autopm_put_host() <-- executed later In that case one EH iteration can skip autoresume on entry and still drop a runtime PM reference on exit. That leaves an unmatched runtime PM put and can trigger a runtime PM usage count underflow. Fix this by making eh_noresume a regular bool so it can be accessed with READ_ONCE() and WRITE_ONCE(). Snapshot it once per EH iteration and use that snapshot for both runtime PM get and put decisions.

Though this invokes __hrtimer_rearm_deferred() which expects to be invoked with interrupts disabled as it takes hrtimer_cpu_base::lock with raw_spin_lock(). That's a livelock waiting to happen and caught by lockdep: WARNING: ./include/linux/hrtimer_rearm.h:17 at irqentry_exit, CPU#1: slice_test WARNING: inconsistent lock state inconsistent {IN-HARDIRQ-W} -> {HARDIRQ-ON-W} usage. Prevent this by disabling interrupts around the invocation of hrtimer_rearm_deferred_tif() in rseq_grant_timeslice_extension(). [ tglx: Massaged change log ]

Aug 26, 2026The IEEE 1588 PTP management-message parser in subsys/net/lib/ptp/tlv.c mishandles the PTP_MGMT_TIME management id.CVE-2026-13481 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 5.4
The IEEE 1588 PTP management-message parser in subsys/net/lib/ptp/tlv.c mishandles the PTP_MGMT_TIME management id. In tlv_mgmt_post_recv(), the PTP_MGMT_TIME case casts mgmt_tlv->data to a 10-byte struct ptp_timestamp and reads it (then byte-swaps and writes it back) without first checking that the TLV data field is at least sizeof(struct ptp_timestamp). Every sibling management id in the same switch validates its length first; PTP_MGMT_TIME was the only case lacking that check. The length passed in is the management data size (tlv->length - 2), and the upstream guard in ptp_tlv_post_recv() only requires tlv->length > 2, while msg_tlv_post_recv() validates only that the TLV fits within the received byte count, not a per-id minimum. A peer on the local PTP segment can therefore send a PTP_MSG_MANAGEMENT message carrying a short PTP_MGMT_TIME TLV (data as small as 2 bytes), causing the parser to read and write 8 bytes beyond the validated data. The message type and TLV contents are taken straight off the wire, so the path is reachable by any adjacent attacker when CONFIG_PTP is enabled. The over-read and write-back stay within the struct ptp_msg allocation (mgmt_tlv->data lives in

Aug 26, 2026OneUptime's webhook target check rejects private and loopback addresses given in IPv4 form and a small set of IPv6 forms, but has no case for the IPv4-mapped IPCVE-2026-80350 · Other software · OneUptime · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1
OneUptime's webhook target check rejects private and loopback addresses given in IPv4 form and a small set of IPv6 forms, but has no case for the IPv4-mapped IPv6 range. The webhook delivery path calls SSRFProtection.validateWebhookTargetIsSafe, and the host-literal screening inside Common/Server/Utils/SSRFProtection.ts, performed by isBlockedHostnameLiteral, rejects private and loopback IPv4 ranges and tests an IPv6 value against the unspecified address, the loopback, the link-local prefix and the unique-local prefixes. A value such as [::ffff:127.0.0.1] matches none of them. The value is also recognised as an address literal rather than a name, so the path that re-checks addresses obtained from resolution is not taken. The HTTP client treats the mapped form as the embedded IPv4 address and connects to it, so an authenticated project member who can configure a webhook can direct the server at loopback services, private network ranges and link-local metadata endpoints, and the response is recorded where the webhook result can be read. Version 12.0.7 adds handling for the mapped range.

Kimai before 2.56.0 does not enforce team-membership checks in TimesheetVoter::voteOnAttribute(), which maps permissions only to own_timesheet or other_timesheet. As a result, any authenticated user with ROLE_TEAMLEAD (or a role holding edit_other_timesheet/delete_other_timesheet) can read, modify, and permanently delete timesheets belonging to any user system-wide via the API, regardless of team membership. Timesheet IDs are sequential integers and trivially enumerable. ROLE_USER accounts are correctly restricted. sublinear-time-solver is a Rust and WebAssembly library for solving asymmetric diagonally dominant systems in sublinear time. Prior to consciousness-explorer 1.1.2 and sublinear-time-solver 1.6.0, the export_state and import_state tools in src/consciousness-explorer/mcp/server.js pass the attacker-controlled filepath parameter to filesystem operations in src/consciousness-explorer/index.js without restricting the destination or rejecting traversal. The saveVectorToFile and loadVectorFromFile tools in src/mcp/server.ts contain the same sink class through the file_path parameter. An attacker able to invoke the MCP tools can read, write, or overwrite any file accessible to the server process, causing confidentiality and integrity loss and possible service disruption. This issue is fixed in consciousness-explorer 1.1.2 and sublinear-time-solver 1.6.0.

Aug 25, 2026urllib is an HTTP client for Node.js that supports authentication, redirects, timeouts, and other request features.CVE-2026-55553 · Other software · node-modules · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
urllib is an HTTP client for Node.js that supports authentication, redirects, timeouts, and other request features. Prior to 4.9.1 and 2.44.1, urllib follows redirects through followRedirect but reuses caller-supplied options across origins. In src/HttpClient.ts, #requestInternal recursively calls this.#requestInternal(nextUrl.href, options, requestContext), causing options.headers and auth or digestAuth values to be reused when the redirect target has a different scheme, host, or port. Authorization, Cookie, Proxy-Authorization, x-api-key, x-auth-token, and x-access-token can therefore be sent to an attacker-controlled redirected origin, exposing credentials intended for the original origin and potentially allowing reuse against the original partner API or related services. No user interaction is required. This issue is fixed in versions 2.44.1 and 4.9.1.

The getgrav/grav-plugin-login Composer plugin before 3.9.1 (used by Grav) compares password reset and account activation tokens using a non-constant-time === string comparison instead of hash_equals() in classes/Controller.php (taskReset()) and login.php (activation handler). Because the token-submission endpoint (taskReset) also lacks rate limiting, an attacker could in principle send repeated token guesses against a known username and use the timing differences to attempt to recover a valid token, though the vendor rates the practical exploitability as low and no end-to-end network exploit has been demonstrated.

Aug 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: clear metadata pointer when no timestamp is requested User space can change metadata CVE-2026-74709 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: clear metadata pointer when no timestamp is requested User space can change metadata flags after request processing. Rereading them during completion can therefore make the kernel write a timestamp that was not requested when the packet was submitted. Clear the metadata pointer during request processing unless timestamp completion is requested. Completion handling can then use the pointer itself instead of rereading the flags. On the mlx5 multi-packet WQE path metadata is evaluated per batch: xsk_tx_metadata_request() runs only for the descriptor that starts a session, just like the checksum offload that is applied once through the shared WQE. Only that descriptor's pointer is reset, so completion handling can record a timestamp for the other descriptors of the session regardless of their own XDP_TXMD_FLAGS_TIMESTAMP bit. The write stays inside the metadata area; the single-WQE, other zero-copy, and generic paths reset the pointer per descriptor and are unaffected.

Reject the request when the registered metadata area does not contain the complete field. Snapshot the validated flags for the generic transmit path and use that snapshot for request and completion processing, avoiding inconsistent decisions if user space changes the flags concurrently. Note that only xsk_skb_metadata is properly using the flags, __xsk_buff_get_metadata ignores them. Next commits address that.

Aug 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: inet: frags: publish queues before arming timer inet_frag_create() arms the fragment queueCVE-2026-74662 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: inet: frags: publish queues before arming timer inet_frag_create() arms the fragment queue timer before inserting the queue into the fqdir rhashtable. If the namespace fragment timeout is zero or negative, the timer can run before the queue is published. The timer callback then marks the queue complete, tries to remove a node that is not in the hash table yet, and drops the anticipated hash reference. Creation can subsequently publish the completed queue without restoring that reference, leaving a stale hash node after the caller drops the remaining reference. Publish the queue first and arm the timer while holding the queue lock. This makes timer expiry wait until the queue is visible in the hash table, so inet_frag_kill() can remove the node and balance the hash reference.
