  • Apr 1, 2026IBM Maximo Application Suite 9.1, 9.0, 8.11, and 8.10 does not set the secure attribute on authorization tokens or session cookies.CVE-2026-4820 · Other software · IBM · reported by psirt@us.ibm.comMedium 4.3

    IBM Maximo Application Suite 9.1, 9.0, 8.11, and 8.10 does not set the secure attribute on authorization tokens or session cookies. Attackers may be able to get the cookie values by sending a http:// link to a user or by planting this link in a site the user goes to. The cookie will be sent to the insecure link and the attacker can then obtain the cookie value by snooping the traffic.

  • Mar 31, 2026PAGI::Middleware::Session::Store::Cookie versions through 0.001003 for Perl generates random bytes insecurely.CVE-2026-5087 · Other software · JJNAPIORK · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eHigh 7.5

    PAGI::Middleware::Session::Store::Cookie versions through 0.001003 for Perl generates random bytes insecurely. PAGI::Middleware::Session::Store::Cookie attempts to read bytes from the /dev/urandom device directly. If that fails (for example, on systems without the device, such as Windows), then it will emit a warning that recommends the user install Crypt::URandom, and then return a string of random bytes generated by the built-in rand function, which is unsuitable for cryptographic applications. This modules does not use the Crypt::URandom module, and installing it will not fix the problem. The random bytes are used for generating an initialisation vector (IV) to encrypt the cookie. A predictable IV may make it easier for malicious users to decrypt and tamper with the session data that is stored in the cookie.

  • Mar 30, 2026The PaperCut NG/MF (specifically, the embedded application for Konica Minolta devices) is vulnerable to session hijacking.CVE-2026-5115 · Other software · PaperCut · reported by eb41dac7-0af8-4f84-9f6d-0272772514f4Low 3.6

    The PaperCut NG/MF (specifically, the embedded application for Konica Minolta devices) is vulnerable to session hijacking. The PaperCut NG/MF Embedded application is a software interface that runs directly on the touch screen of a multi-function device. It was internally discovered that the communication channel between the embedded application and the server was insecure, which could leak data including sensitive information that may be used to mount an  attack on the device. Such an attack could potentially be used to steal data or to perform a phishing attack on the end user.

  • Mar 30, 2026A cross-session information disclosure vulnerability exists in the awesome-llm-apps project in commit e46690f99c3f08be80a9877fab52acacf7ab8251 (2026-01-19).CVE-2026-29872 · Other software · Theunwindai · reported by MITREHigh 8.2

    A cross-session information disclosure vulnerability exists in the awesome-llm-apps project in commit e46690f99c3f08be80a9877fab52acacf7ab8251 (2026-01-19). The affected Streamlit-based GitHub MCP Agent stores user-supplied API tokens in process-wide environment variables using os.environ without proper session isolation. Because Streamlit serves multiple concurrent users from a single Python process, credentials provided by one user remain accessible to subsequent unauthenticated users. An attacker can exploit this issue to retrieve sensitive information such as GitHub Personal Access Tokens or LLM API keys, potentially leading to unauthorized access to private resources and financial abuse.

  • Mar 28, 2026HTTP::Session versions before 0.54 for Perl defaults to using insecurely generated session ids.CVE-2026-3256 · Other software · KTAT · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.8

    HTTP::Session versions before 0.54 for Perl defaults to using insecurely generated session ids. HTTP::Session defaults to using HTTP::Session::ID::SHA1 to generate session ids using a SHA-1 hash seeded with the built-in rand function, the high resolution epoch time, and the PID. The PID will come from a small set of numbers, and the epoch time may be guessed, if it is not leaked from the HTTP Date header. The built-in rand function is unsuitable for cryptographic usage. The distribution includes HTTP::session::ID::MD5 which contains a similar flaw, but uses the MD5 hash instead.

  • Mar 5, 2026Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability in hexpm hexpm/hexpm ('Elixir.Hexpm.Accounts.PasswordReset' module) allows Account Takeover.CVE-2026-21622 · Other software · hexpm · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbCritical 9.5

    Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability in hexpm hexpm/hexpm ('Elixir.Hexpm.Accounts.PasswordReset' module) allows Account Takeover. Password reset tokens generated via the "Reset your password" flow do not expire. When a user requests a password reset, Hex sends an email containing a reset link with a token. This token remains valid indefinitely until used. There is no time-based expiration enforced. If a user's historical emails are exposed through a data breach (e.g., a leaked mailbox archive), any unused password reset email contained in that dataset could be used by an attacker to reset the victim's password. The attacker does not need current access to the victim's email account, only access to a previously leaked copy of the reset email. This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/hexpm/accounts/password_reset.ex and program routines 'Elixir.Hexpm.Accounts.PasswordReset':can_reset?/3. This issue affects hexpm: from 617e44c71f1dd9043870205f371d375c5c4d886d before bb0e42091995945deef10556f58d046a52eb7884.

  • Mar 4, 2026Apache::Session::Generate::MD5 versions through 1.94 for Perl create insecure session id.CVE-2025-40931 · Other software · CHORNY · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.1

    Apache::Session::Generate::MD5 versions through 1.94 for Perl create insecure session id. Apache::Session::Generate::MD5 generates session ids insecurely. The default session id generator returns a MD5 hash seeded with the built-in rand() function, the epoch time, and the PID. The PID will come from a small set of numbers, and the epoch time may be guessed, if it is not leaked from the HTTP Date header. The built-in rand function is unsuitable for cryptographic usage. Predicable session ids could allow an attacker to gain access to systems. Note that the libapache-session-perl package in some Debian-based Linux distributions may be patched to use Crypt::URandom.

    HTTP::Session2 versions before 1.12 for Perl for Perl may generate weak session ids using the rand() function. The HTTP::Session2 session id generator returns a SHA-1 hash seeded with the built-in rand function, the epoch time, and the PID. The PID will come from a small set of numbers, and the epoch time may be guessed, if it is not leaked from the HTTP Date header. The built-in rand() function is unsuitable for cryptographic usage. HTTP::Session2 after version 1.02 will attempt to use the /dev/urandom device to generate a session id, but if the device is unavailable (for example, under Windows), then it will revert to the insecure method described above.

  • Feb 27, 2026PluXml CMS allows a user's session identifier to be set before authentication.CVE-2026-24352 · Other software · PluXml · reported by cvd@cert.plMedium 4.8

    PluXml CMS allows a user's session identifier to be set before authentication. The value of this session ID stays the same after authentication. This behaviour enables an attacker to fix a session ID for a victim and later hijack the authenticated session. The vendor was notified early about this vulnerability, but didn't respond with the details of vulnerability or vulnerable version range. Only versions 5.8.21 and 5.9.0-rc7 were tested and confirmed as vulnerable, other versions were not tested and might also be vulnerable.
