Froxlor before 2.3.12 does not restrict or escape the system.letsencryptchallengepath setting: unlike sibling settings hardened in GHSA-33mp, the field has no string_regexp or required_otp guard, and its value is concatenated unescaped into the acme.sh command line built in lib/Froxlor/Cron/Http/LetsEncrypt/AcmeSh.php and executed by the root cron via FileDir::safe_exec. Because safe_exec only blacklists shell metacharacters such as ; | & > < \ $ ~ ?, spaces and quotes survive and the value is word-split into additional acme.sh arguments. An administrator, or any actor able to write settings (for example through the settings-import API), can therefore inject acme.sh options such as --renew-hook, --pre-hook or --post-hook to obtain arbitrary command execution as root at the next Let's Encrypt cron run, or use --config-home/--cert-home for arbitrary file writes. Versions up to and including 2.3.10 are affected; the issue is fixed in 2.3.12.

  • Sep 26, 2026GitPython before 3.1.62 does not validate the `path` field read from an untrusted .gitmodules file when updating submodules.CVE-2026-100689 · Other software · gitpython-developers · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

GitPython before 3.1.62 does not validate the `path` field read from an untrusted .gitmodules file when updating submodules. While a prior fix (GHSA-hmq2-w58f-27jc) added Submodule._validated_name() to constrain the `name` field, and GitPython's own containment guard Submodule._to_relative_path() is applied in add() and move(), Submodule.update() derives the absolute checkout location from the raw `path` value without that guard. A .gitmodules entry containing directory traversal components (e.g., path = ../../../tmp/escaped) can therefore cause directories to be created via os.makedirs() outside the repository working tree, populated from the submodule URL on the clone path, and removed via shutil.rmtree() when force_remove is used. Exploitation requires an application flow that updates submodules at a non-HEAD commit (such as a historical-commit API); the common clone-then-update flow re-derives the path from a canonical tree lookup and is not affected. The issue is fixed in GitPython 3.1.62.

  • Sep 26, 2026Budibase versions 3.41.0 before 3.45.0 contain an authentication bypass in the OIDC/SSO login path of @budibase/server.CVE-2026-100684 · Other software · budibase · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2

Budibase versions 3.41.0 before 3.45.0 contain an authentication bypass in the OIDC/SSO login path of @budibase/server. In sso.authenticate, when no existing user matches the incoming SSO subject, the server looks up pending user invites by the IdP-asserted email address alone — without validating an invite code and without an email_verified check (the email_verified gate protects only the existing-account lookup). An attacker who can register at an IdP that the tenant trusts for OIDC and assert a victim's invited email address (even with email_verified=false) claims the pending invite and inherits all of its granted privileges, including builder and admin.global, with no admin exclusion. This results in takeover of the invited principal and, for admin invites, full tenant compromise (access to all apps, datasources including production credentials, and automations); the invite is consumed, denying onboarding to the legitimate invitee.

Netty versions from 4.2.11.Final before 4.2.18.Final contain an incomplete hostname verification fix in the QUIC certificate verification path when using a plain X509TrustManager. The BoringSSLCertificateVerifyCallback discards the SSLEngine for plain trust managers, preventing endpoint identification from running even when HTTPS verification is configured. • Sep 26, 2026Capgo (Cap-go/capgo.app) server backend Supabase functions contain an incorrect authorization flaw in the API-key bundle promotion path.CVE-2026-100627 · Other software · Cap-go · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.2

Capgo (Cap-go/capgo.app) server backend Supabase functions contain an incorrect authorization flaw in the API-key bundle promotion path. The PUT /bundle endpoint, available to "all" and "write" API keys, dispatches to setChannel, which authorizes with checkPermission(c, 'channel.promote_bundle', { appId: body.app_id }) and omits the request's channel_id. Because the omitted scope field is passed to rbac_check_permission_direct as SQL NULL, and channel-scope override evaluation is gated on p_channel_id IS NOT NULL, per-channel allow/deny overrides are never evaluated. A principal holding app-level channel.promote_bundle (granted by default to the app_developer and app_uploader roles) can therefore promote a bundle to a channel for which an explicit per-channel deny override exists, updating public.channels.version for the supplied channel_id; the target channel is only validated after authorization. The issue is confirmed on main at commit de66fa51e7ff2f50283cc1455c3d80ab3eb0ae43 and likely earlier versions; no patched version is known at the time of publication.

  • Sep 26, 2026Capgo (capgo.app) is affected by an authorization flaw in the app icon update path.CVE-2026-100618 · Other software · Cap-go · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

Capgo (capgo.app) is affected by an authorization flaw in the app icon update path. The PUT /app/:id endpoint accepts a user-controlled `icon` value, normalizes it, and stores it in public.apps.icon_url without verifying that the image path belongs to the target app's own image namespace (e.g. org/{owner_org}/{app_id}/...). Updating apps.icon_url fires the on_app_update trigger, whose worker reads record.icon_url and calls cleanStoredImageMetadata(), which runs with service-role credentials (supabaseAdmin()) and downloads and re-uploads the referenced storage object with upsert: true. As a result, an authenticated holder of an app-limited write API key can cause the privileged worker to rewrite an out-of-scope private image object (for example an organization logo) that the key cannot read or write directly under Supabase Storage RLS. All versions are affected; no patched version was available at the time of the advisory.

  • Sep 26, 2026Flowise through 3.1.4 (Enterprise/platform mode with SSO enabled) contains an authentication bypass in the SSO login path.CVE-2026-100606 · Other software · FlowiseAI · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2

Flowise through 3.1.4 (Enterprise/platform mode with SSO enabled) contains an authentication bypass in the SSO login path. When an SSO callback arrives with an email matching a user whose status is INVITED, verifyAndLogin (SSOBase.ts:80-94) copies the user record from the database — including the server-stored single-use invitation tempToken — into the data passed to AccountService.register(). The register handler's token lookup, email match, and expiry checks therefore pass trivially against the server's own token instead of a caller-supplied one, and the account and its organization membership are flipped to ACTIVE. As a result, anyone able to authenticate at any configured SSO provider using a pending invitee's email address as the email claim can take over that invitation and obtain the invited user's access to the organization without ever possessing the emailed invitation token, for as long as the invitation is valid (24 hours by default). At the time of the advisory no patched version was available.

  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw versions 2026.5.1 through 2026.7.0 fail to apply the configured exec approval path to Google Meet node commands.CVE-2026-100599 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

OpenClaw versions 2026.5.1 through 2026.7.0 fail to apply the configured exec approval path to Google Meet node commands. The googlemeet.chrome command accepts caller-supplied audio command arrays and executes them on a paired node without going through the normal system.run approval flow. In deployments with the Google Meet plugin enabled, a paired Chrome node, and the googlemeet.chrome node command allowed, a tool-enabled agent able to invoke that command can execute attacker-selected processes on the paired node, impacting files, credentials, browser profiles, and availability on that node. The issue is fixed in 2026.7.1; as a workaround, remove googlemeet.chrome from allowed node commands or disable the Google Meet plugin.

  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package `openclaw`) versions >= 2026.7.2 and < 2026.9.2 contain a race condition in the Discord realtime voice transcript path.CVE-2026-100546 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.1

OpenClaw (npm package `openclaw`) versions >= 2026.7.2 and < 2026.9.2 contain a race condition in the Discord realtime voice transcript path. Concurrent control-classified voice transcripts could consume speaker context belonging to another participant after an asynchronous control check, causing a transcript to inherit another speaker's owner status. In Discord agent-proxy voice sessions using the affected realtime control path, an utterance from a non-owner participant could reach the downstream agent boundary marked as owner, so owner-sensitive behavior is applied to the wrong speaker. Exploitation depends on concurrent transcript timing and on the tools and commands available to the affected agent. The issue is fixed in 2026.9.2; as a workaround, disable Discord realtime voice for agents that distinguish owner and non-owner senders.

Use After Free in the drag source path of the drag and drop protocol in kitty from 0.47.0 before 0.49.0 allows a program writing to the terminal to cause the terminal to read from and write to freed heap memory, because drag_remote_file_data() in kitty/dnd.c holds a DragRemoteItem pointer into an array it does not own, calls toplevel_data_for_drag() or subdir_data_for_drag(), and then continues to use that pointer. Those helpers, and add_payload() and populate_dir_entries() which they call, report errors through the abrt() macro, which expands to cancel_drag() followed by a plain return, and cancel_drag() calls drag_free_offer(), which frees the array the pointer refers to. The helpers return void, so the caller receives no indication that the teardown happened, and proceeds to call all_children_complete() on the freed pointer, which dereferences it, and then to write through it. That dereference is guarded by a local flag that is set when the request carries no payload and announces no further data, which is the same condition that selects the finalisation block of add_payload(), so the error paths in that block reach it: a create that fails because an entry of the same name alrea

Missing Authorization in the drop handling path of the drag and drop protocol in kitty from 0.47.0 before 0.49.0 allows a program writing to the terminal to obtain the contents of files dragged over the window even when the user never completes the drop, because drop_enqueue_request() in kitty/dnd.c serves a drag data request without first checking the drop state of the window, so a client that issues the request while a drag is merely hovering receives the data offered for the drag. In the same file, drop_left_child(), which runs when the drag leaves the window without a drop having occurred, releases the offered MIME list but retains the pending request state, the open file descriptor and its main loop transfer timer, the directory handles, the URI list and the pending MIME name, so a client can continue to read through a retained directory handle, and an in-flight file transfer continues to stream, when no drag is in progress. The file contents are read from the filesystem by the kitty process itself using the paths the drag source offered. This results in disclosure of the contents of files the user moved over the window without ever releasing them into it.

Improper Link Resolution Before File Access in the drag source staging path of the drag and drop protocol in kitty from 0.47.0 before 0.49.0 allows a program writing to the terminal to create files and directories at paths outside the staging directory, because subdir_data_for_drag() in kitty/dnd.c resolves a descendant of the staged item tree by constructing a path string and opening it with safe_open(path, O_DIRECTORY | O_RDONLY, 0) rather than by walking the tree one component at a time, so a client that declares two entries with the same name, the first a symlink whose target is an arbitrary absolute path and the second a directory, causes mkdirat() to fail with EEXIST, which the code ignores, and causes the subsequent path resolution to follow the symlink and return a directory descriptor outside the staging directory, which is then passed as the dirfd argument to add_payload() and used for every further create operation on that item and its descendants. Entry names are sanitised against path separators and dot components, but symlink targets are not validated. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: rtl8723bs: fix xmit_frame/xmit_buf leaks on mgnt-frame error paths issue_beacon(), issue_probersp() and issue_asocrsp() obtain a management xmit_frame together with its xmit_buf from the driver's fixed-size management-TX pools via alloc_mgtxmitframe(). On the normal path the frame is handed to dump_mgntframe(), which transfers ownership and eventually returns both objects to their pools (the frame and, for beacons, the buf in rtl8723bs_mgnt_xmit(); other bufs via the pending-xmitbuf/TX-completion path). Several error/edge paths return early after a successful alloc_mgtxmitframe() but before dump_mgntframe(), so ownership is never transferred and neither object is freed: - issue_beacon(): beacon larger than 512 bytes - issue_probersp(): cur_network->ie_length > MAX_IE_SZ - issue_probersp(): kzalloc() of the SSID scratch buffer fails - issue_asocrsp(): pkt_type is neither ASSOCRSP nor REASSOCRSP Because alloc_mgtxmitframe() removes the frame and buf from their free lists (list_del_init) without placing them on any pending list, an orphaned pair is on no list and referenced by nobody, so it is on

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/rds: clear cp_flags bits individually in rds_conn_path_reset() rds_conn_path_reset() wipes the whole flag word with a plain cp->cp_flags = 0 store. Every other accessor of that word uses atomic bitops, and some of them can run concurrently with the reset: RDS_LL_SEND_FULL is set from rds_send_xmit() and cleared from the transport completion paths, neither of which holds anything that excludes the shutdown worker. A plain store racing an atomic read-modify-write on the same word is a data race, and whichever side loses has its update silently discarded. Clear the two bits the reset is actually responsible for instead. RDS_IN_XMIT and RDS_RECV_REFILL need no store at all here: they belong to the caller, rds_conn_shutdown(), which waits for both to be clear before calling the transport shutdown and this reset. This also gives every bit in cp_flags a single well-defined writer discipline, which the following patches rely on when they turn RDS_IN_XMIT and RDS_RECV_REFILL into bit locks held across the teardown: a blanket store mid-teardown would destroy lock ownership that an atomic clear preserves. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/rds: acquire the fastpath locks in rds_conn_shutdown() rds_conn_shutdown() quiesces the transmit and receive-refill paths by waiting for RDS_IN_XMIT and RDS_RECV_REFILL to be sampled clear, and then runs the transport shutdown and rds_conn_path_reset(). Sampling the bits clear is not the same as owning them: the moment after the wait_event() returns, rds_send_xmit() can re-acquire RDS_IN_XMIT (or rds_ib_recv_refill() can re-acquire RDS_RECV_REFILL) and run concurrently with the teardown. The sender does recheck the connection state after taking the lock, but that recheck is a classic store-buffering pattern: teardown writes the state and reads the bit while the sender writes the bit and reads the state. acquire_in_xmit() is only an acquire operation, so on weakly ordered architectures both sides can miss each other's write, and the transmit path then runs while the transport zeroes its rings (e.g. rds_ib_ring_init()) and rds_send_path_reset() rewrites the transmit state under it. Oracle UEK fixed the same class of crashes - a 14-year tail of BUG_ON()s in rds_ib_sub_signaled(), unexpected op-codes and NULL

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: erofs: preserve LZMA decoders on resize failure The pool-resize path frees each stream's old decoder before allocating its replacement. If an allocation fails after some streams have already been replaced, the failed stream is put back on the list with state == NULL. z_erofs_lzma_max_dictsize is still advanced as if the whole pool had been resized. An existing LZMA mount can select the broken stream and pass NULL to xz_dec_microlzma_reset(). A retry at the same size also skip another resize attempt. Since the global maximum was advanced, thus, the invalid state is left unrepaired. Allocate each replacement before freeing the old decoder, temporarily retaining one old decoder during allocation. Stop at the first failure and advance z_erofs_lzma_max_dictsize only after all streams satisfy the request. Record each stream's dictionary capacity so retries can skip streams already enlarged before a partial failure.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: landlock: Fix use-after-free of the source's parent directory current_check_refer_path() reads old_dentry->d_parent without holding a reference nor a lock on it, and then dereferences it in collect_domain_accesses() and in the audit record. A reference on a child does not pin its parent: __d_move() reassigns dentry->d_parent and drops the reference the child held on its former parent. hook_path_rename() is not affected because the rename path calls lock_rename() before the hook, so the source cannot be reparented under it. hook_path_link() has no such protection: filename_linkat() holds a reference on the source dentry but neither locks nor references its parent, so a concurrent rename(2) can reparent the source while security_path_link() runs, and the former parent can then be removed and freed while the hook walks it. A process can trigger this after entering a Landlock domain that handles at least one filesystem access right. The process can then race a linkat(2) loop against rename(2) and rmdir(2): BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in collect_domain_accesses+0x278/0x290 Read of size 4 at addr ffff8881

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mptcp: pm: kernel: drop pending ADD_ADDR when removing ID0 The in-kernel MPTCP path manager can leave a stale ADD_ADDR announcement entry alive when removing the id 0 endpoint. This happens because the id 0 removal path does not tear down pending announcements, unlike the non-zero id path. When the PM later reselects id 0 after adding another signal endpoint, it finds the stale anno_list entry and hits WARN_ON_ONCE(mptcp_pm_is_kernel()) in mptcp_pm_announced_alloc(). Root cause: asymmetry between removal paths. - Non-zero id path: mptcp_nl_remove_subflow_and_signal_addr() calls mptcp_pm_remove_announced() to clean up. - Id 0 path: mptcp_nl_remove_id_zero_address() skips cleanup entirely. Fix by making the id 0 path symmetric: call mptcp_pm_announced_remove() and decrement add_addr_signaled before queuing the RM_ADDR. Subtle detail: signal endpoints are stored in anno_list with port 0, but msk_local carries the connection's local port. In other words, entries linked to ID0 paths should have port == 0. A follow-up patch will ensure that. mptcp_pm_announced_remove() uses use_port=true for comparison. So clear

This avoids unneeded processing to check for available data -- calling get_mapping_status() and more on a dying subflow -- but also in error reporting and worker scheduling. Note that we must consume the currently peeked skb before invoking mptcp_dss_corruption to avoid consuming it again after the eventual reset has freed it.

Lemonldap::NG::Handler versions from 2.0.0 before 2.16.10, from 2.17.0 before 2.21.6, from 2.22.0 before 2.23.4 for Perl allow an equivalent spelling of a path to bypass the locationRules that restrict it. The handler matches each vhost's locationRules regular expressions against REQUEST_URI, the raw request line, while the web server routes on the path it has already percent-decoded and normalized. A request that percent-encodes a character of the path, inserts dot segments, or doubles a slash therefore reaches the protected resource under a URI that no rule regexp matches, and the vhost's default rule decides access. Deny rules, identity and group conditions, and unprotect and skip rules are bypassed alike. Only a vhost whose default rule is more permissive than its other rules is affected. An authenticated user then reaches any URL a locationRules regexp was meant to restrict, but gains no more than that default rule already grants.
