Jul 21, 2026The MCTP-over-I2C+GPIO target binding in Zephyr (subsys/pmci/mctp/mctp_i2c_gpio_target.c) processes pseudo-register writes from an I2C bus master byte-by-byte iCVE-2026-10678 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgHigh 8.1
The MCTP-over-I2C+GPIO target binding in Zephyr (subsys/pmci/mctp/mctp_i2c_gpio_target.c) processes pseudo-register writes from an I2C bus master byte-by-byte in mctp_i2c_gpio_target_write_received() without validating the order or the receive buffer. In the affected versions the MCTP_I2C_GPIO_RX_MSG_ADDR (data) handler dereferences and writes through b->rx_pkt without checking that the receive buffer was allocated: a controller that selects the data register and writes a byte without first sending the length register (which is what allocates the buffer) causes a write of an attacker-chosen byte through a NULL/unallocated mctp_pktbuf pointer (i.e. into a small attacker-advanceable offset above address 0), producing memory corruption or a hard fault. The same handler also performs a write-then-check bounds test, allowing a one-byte heap overflow at data[255] when more than 255 data bytes are sent. Because the I2C target callback is invoked with raw bytes supplied by whatever device is the bus master and the binding performs no authentication, a malicious or malfunctioning controller on the bus can trigger these without any prior protocol state, leading to memory corruption and/or

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: riscv: Fix register corruption from uninitialized cregs on error compat_riscv_gpr_set() calls cregs_to_regs() unconditionally, even when user_regset_copyin() fails. Since cregs is an uninitialized stack variable, a copyin failure causes uninitialized stack data to be written into the target task's pt_regs, corrupting its register state and potentially leaking kernel stack contents. compat_restore_sigcontext() has the same issue: it calls cregs_to_regs() even when __copy_from_user() fails, leading to the same corruption of the signal-returning task's register state on error. Only call cregs_to_regs() when the user copy succeeds.

Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: x_tables: add and use xtables_unregister_table_exit Previous change added xtablCVE-2026-64078 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: x_tables: add and use xtables_unregister_table_exit Previous change added xtables_unregister_table_pre_exit to detach the table from the packetpath and to unlink it from the active table list. In case of rmmod, userspace that is doing set/getsockopt for this table will not be able to re-instantiate the table: 1. The larval table has been removed already 2. existing instantiated table is no longer on the xt pernet table list. This adds the second stage helper: unlink the table from the dying list, free the hook ops (if any) and do the audit notification. It replaces xt_unregister_table().

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fprobe: Fix unregister_fprobe() to wait for RCU grace period Commit 4346ba1604093 ("fprobe: Rewrite fprobe on function-graph tracer") changed fprobe to register struct fprobe to an rcu-hlist, but it forgot to wait for RCU GP. Thus there can be use-after-free if the fprobe is released right after unregistering. This can be happened on fprobe event and sample module code. To fix this issue, add synchronize_rcu() in unregister_fprobe(). Note that BPF is OK because fprobe is used as a part of bpf_kprobe_multi_link. This unregisters its fprobe in bpf_kprobe_multi_link_release() and it is deallocated via bpf_kprobe_multi_link_dealloc(), which is invoked from bpf_link_defer_dealloc_rcu_gp() RCU callback. For BPF, this also introduced unregister_fprobe_async() which does NOT wait for RCU grace priod.

Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: fix dst corruption in same register operation For lshift and rshift,CVE-2026-64006 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: fix dst corruption in same register operation For lshift and rshift, the shift operations are performed in a loop over 32-bit words. The loop calculates the shifted value and write it to dst, and then immediately reads from src to calculate the carry for the next iteration. Because src and dst could point to the same memory location, the carry is incorrectly calculated using the newly modified dst value instead of the original src value. Adding a temporary local variable to cache the original value before writing to dst and using it for the carry calculation solves the problem. In addition, partial overlap is rejected from control plane for all kind of operations including byteorder. This was tested with the following bytecode: table test_table ip flags 0 use 1 handle 1 ip test_table test_chain use 3 type filter hook input prio 0 policy accept packets 0 bytes 0 flags 1 ip test_table test_chain 2 [ immediate reg 1 0x44332211 0x88776655 ] [ bitwise reg 1 = ( reg 1 << 0x08000000 ) ] [ cmp eq reg 1 0x66443322 0x00887766 ] [ counter pkts 0 bytes 0 ] ip test_table test_chain 4 3 [ imme

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: parport: Fix race between port and client registration The parport subsystem registers port devices before they are fully initialised, resulting in a race condition where client drivers such as lp can attach to ports that are not completely initialised or even being torn down. When the port and client drivers are built as modules and loaded around the same time during boot, this occasionally results in a crash. I was able to make this happen reliably in a VM with a PC-style parallel port by patching parport_pc to fail probing: > --- a/drivers/parport/parport_pc.c > +++ b/drivers/parport/parport_pc.c > @@ -2069,7 +2069,7 @@ static struct parport *__parport_pc_probe_port(unsigned long int base, > if (!p) > goto out3; > > - base_res = request_region(base, 3, p->name); > + base_res = NULL; > if (!base_res) > goto out4; > and then running: while true; do modprobe lp & modprobe parport_pc wait rmmod lp parport_pc done for a few seconds. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: core: fix adapter registration race Adapters can be looked up based on their id using i2c_get_adapter() which takes a reference to the embedded struct device. Make sure that the adapter (including its struct device) has been initialised before adding it to the IDR to avoid accessing uninitialised data which could, for example, lead to NULL-pointer dereferences or use-after-free. Note that the i2c-dev chardev, which is registered from a bus notifier, currently uses i2c_get_adapter() so the adapter needs to be added to the IDR before registration.

Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: 8250_dw: unregister 8250 port if clk_notifier_register() fails dw8250_probe() regiCVE-2026-53384 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: 8250_dw: unregister 8250 port if clk_notifier_register() fails dw8250_probe() registers the 8250 port via serial8250_register_8250_port() and then, if the device has a clock, registers a clock notifier. If clk_notifier_register() fails, probe returns the error but leaves the 8250 port registered. The matching serial8250_unregister_port() lives in dw8250_remove(), which is not called when probe fails, so the port slot stays occupied until the device is rebound or the system is rebooted. The devm-allocated driver data is freed while the port still references it (via the saved private_data and serial_in/serial_out callbacks), so any access to that port slot before a rebind is a use-after-free hazard. Unregister the port on the clk_notifier_register() error path.

Jul 17, 2026Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress: Arbitrary File UploadCVE-2026-13352 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8
The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 4.16.18 via the allowed_mime_types function. This is due to the unconditional registration of an upload_mimes filter that adds executable file extensions (.exe, .apk, .msi) to the global WordPress MIME allowlist, without scoping the expansion to digital-product upload contexts. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. This filter is registered globally on every request regardless of whether the digital products feature is configured or in use, meaning the expanded MIME allowlist affects all WordPress upload contexts site-wide.

Jul 10, 2026Eventin – Event Calendar, Event Registration, Tickets & Booking (AI Powered): Authorization bypassCVE-2026-13039 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3
The Eventin – Event Calendar, Event Registration, Tickets & Booking (AI Powered) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass due to a regression in versions from 4.0.26 up to and including 4.1.15. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action in the payment_complete() function of PaymentController.php. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to mark unpaid ticket orders as completed by submitting a fabricated SureCart checkout ID or FluentCart cart hash, granting themselves paid event access, QR-code attendee tickets, and order confirmation emails without making any real payment. The wp_rest nonce required to reach the vulnerable endpoint is embedded in every public event page, meaning no WordPress session or credentials are needed to obtain it. This vulnerability represents a regression — the same function and endpoint were previously patched but the fix did not persist through subsequent releases.

Jul 10, 2026miniOrange Social Login and Register (Discord, Google, Twitter, LinkedIn): Authentication bypass leading to account takeoverCVE-2026-12761 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8
The miniOrange Social Login and Register (Discord, Google, Twitter, LinkedIn) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authentication bypass leading to account takeover in versions up to and including 7.7.0. This is due to the Profile Completion flow accepting an arbitrary email address via the 'email_field' POST parameter without verifying that the email belongs to the identity returned by the OAuth provider, combined with send_otp_token() returning the SHA-512(customer_key || otp) transaction hash to the client where the OTP space is only 99,000 values (wp_rand(1000, 99999)) and the customer_key is a static option (empty on unregistered installs). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to trigger an OTP email to an arbitrary admin's address, crack the OTP offline from the leaked hash in under a second, and submit the cracked OTP to mo_openid_social_login_validate_otp(), which logs the attacker in as the user whose email was supplied — granting full administrator access.

Jul 9, 2026User Frontend: AI Powered Frontend Posting, User Directory, Profile, Membership & User Registration: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-12418 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3
The User Frontend: AI Powered Frontend Posting, User Directory, Profile, Membership & User Registration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 4.3.7 via the 'wpuf_files_data' parameter due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to overwrite the post_title, post_content, and post_excerpt of any arbitrary post on the site, including posts authored by administrators. Exploitation requires access to any WPUF post submission form; this is achievable by users with no WordPress role, as the wpuf_submit_post AJAX action is gated only by a nonce with no capability check for the downstream post-edit operation.

Jul 9, 2026User Frontend: AI Powered Frontend Posting, User Directory, Profile, Membership & User Registration: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-12406 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3
The User Frontend: AI Powered Frontend Posting, User Directory, Profile, Membership & User Registration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 4.3.7. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary media attachments whose post_author is 0, such as guest and registration-form uploads, via the wpuf_file_del AJAX action. This is exploitable by unauthenticated visitors on any site where a WPUF shortcode is rendered on a front-end page, as this causes the valid wpuf_nonce value to be localized into publicly accessible JavaScript objects (wpuf_upload and wpuf_frontend), satisfying the sole access control gate.

The Themehunk Login Registration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation in versions up to, and including, 1.0.2. This is due to the handle_frontend_register() function in the unauthenticated /thlogin/v1/register REST endpoint accepting a user-controlled 'role' parameter and validating it only against get_editable_roles() — which returns every defined editable site role, including 'editor' — before passing it to wp_insert_user(). PACSgear MediaWriter 5.2.1 exposes a .NET Remoting TCP service on port 9000 via PacsgearMediaServerEngine.dll, registered with ObjectURIs RemoteObj and UIRemoteObj, without any authentication requirement. By exploiting the MarshalByRefObject object unmarshalling technique and implementing .NET WebClient class methods, an unauthenticated remote attacker can read and write arbitrary files on the host filesystem. The ObjectURIs are identical across all installations by default. Chaining the arbitrary file write primitive with DLL hijacking opportunities in the MediaWriter service (which runs as NT Authority\\SYSTEM and loads missing DLLs such as CRYPTBASE.DLL from the application directory) enables unauthenticated remote code execution as SYSTEM upon service restart.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack: destroy stale expectfn expectations on unregister NAT helpers such as nf_nat_h323 store a raw pointer to module text in exp->expectfn (e.g. ip_nat_q931_expect). nf_ct_helper_expectfn_unregister() only unlinks the callback descriptor and never walks the expectation table, so an expectation pending at module removal survives with a dangling exp->expectfn into freed module text. When the expected connection arrives, init_conntrack() invokes exp->expectfn(), now a stale pointer into the unloaded module. In Open VSX Registry before 1.0.2, the /vscode/unpkg/ endpoint serves user-supplied HTML files with Content-Type: text/html and without a Content-Security-Policy or Content-Disposition: attachment response header. An unauthenticated attacker can register a publisher account, upload a VSIX containing a crafted HTML payload, and induce an authenticated user to visit the resulting URL. The browser renders the file inline in the open-vsx.org origin context, enabling session token exfiltration, persistent Personal Access Token (PAT) generation, and unauthorized publication of malicious extension versions. Woodpecker before 3.15.0 registers the /api/orgs/lookup/*org_full_name endpoint without authentication middleware, and the LookupOrg handler unconditionally dereferences the session user (user.ForgeID, via ForgeFromUser) when selecting the forge to query. For an unauthenticated request session.User returns nil, so any unauthenticated HTTP request triggers a NULL pointer dereference in the handler. The panic is recovered by gin recovery middleware and the server continues serving (returning HTTP 500), but each request writes a multi-line panic stack trace to the error log. A low-bandwidth unauthenticated attacker can repeatedly probe the endpoint to flood the logs (about 37 lines per request), inflating disk usage and downstream log-ingestion cost and burying legitimate log events.
