  • Oct 15, 2026Improper Validation of Syntactic Correctness of Input vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to set conn.host and conn.port tCVE-2026-105660 · Other software · mtrudel · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.9

Improper Validation of Syntactic Correctness of Input vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to set conn.host and conn.port to values outside the RFC 3986 host grammar via the authority of an HTTP/1 absolute-form or authority-form request target. Bandit validates the Host header and answers 400 when it is malformed, but when the request target carries its own authority that authority takes precedence, as RFC 9112 requires, and Bandit.Pipeline.determine_host_and_port!/4 in lib/bandit/pipeline.ex passes it to the application unchecked. A request line such as GET http://good.example@evil.example/x HTTP/1.1 with a valid Host header yields a conn.host of good.example@evil.example, and the same path admits NUL, DEL and non-ASCII bytes, invalid IP literals and ports outside 1..65535. The HTTP/1.0 clause needs no Host header at all, and CONNECT places the unparsed port string in conn.port. Applications that build absolute URLs from conn.host, such as through Plug.Conn.request_url/1 or Phoenix URL helpers, emit links whose authority the attacker chose. Message framing is unaffected, and no CR or LF can reach conn.host. This issue affects bandit: from 0.6

  • Oct 15, 2026An unauthenticated remote attacker can bypass authentication and gain full access to administrative API endpoints in Nutanix Prism Element by including a crafteCVE-2026-84731 · Other software · Nutanix · reported by 2ffdacf6-8681-47df-b023-4f11abd61c1dCritical 9.3

An unauthenticated remote attacker can bypass authentication and gain full access to administrative API endpoints in Nutanix Prism Element by including a crafted internal management HTTP header. The vulnerability is caused by a misconfiguration in the application's authentication filters. Consequently, the server responds with a Set-Cookie header containing a valid JSESSIONID. This session cookie decodes to a JSON Web Token (JWT) granting maximum cluster administrative privileges. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute root-level commands on all Controller VMs (CVMs) in the cluster, leading to complete cluster destruction and unauthorized access to VM memory and virtual disks.

  • Oct 15, 2026An unauthenticated client may access certain protected resources when using EthereumAuthenticator if the request path contains the configured login path.CVE-2026-19863 · Other software · reported by emo@eclipse.orgCritical 9.3

An unauthenticated client may access certain protected resources when using EthereumAuthenticator if the request path contains the configured login path. This is caused by the authenticator using an unanchored substring match when identifying the login page. If the login path appears later within a protected request path, the request may be treated as the login page and its authentication or role requirement replaced with ALLOWED. Exploitation requires the protected resource path to contain the configured login path as a later segment. Explicitly FORBIDDEN routes are not affected.

  • Oct 15, 2026In Znuny through 7.3.6, an attacker can bypass specific standard login procedures and gain unauthorized access to sensitive system functions by manipulating a sCVE-2026-93483 · Other software · Znuny · reported by MITRECritical 9.5

In Znuny through 7.3.6, an attacker can bypass specific standard login procedures and gain unauthorized access to sensitive system functions by manipulating a specific HTTP request header. Because the application incorrectly trusts this header, an attacker can impersonate any user, including administrators, without requiring a password. This grants full access to confidential data and system controls. More specifically, the HTTPBasicAuth modules for the agent (Kernel::System::Auth::HTTPBasicAuth) and customer (Kernel::System::CustomerAuth::HTTPBasicAuth) interfaces read the username to log in not only from $ENV{REMOTE_USER} (set by the web server after successful authentication), but also, as a fallback, from $ENV{HTTP_REMOTE_USER}, which is populated directly from an attacker-controllable "Remote-User" request header. On systems where HTTPBasicAuth was configured as the authentication backend, this allowed an attacker to log in as any existing user by sending a request with a forged Remote-User header, without providing any credentials.

  • Oct 14, 2026Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to pin HTTP/2 stream processes indefinitely via a trCVE-2026-105659 · Other software · mtrudel · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.7

Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to pin HTTP/2 stream processes indefinitely via a trickle of small WINDOW_UPDATE frames. A stream whose response outruns the connection or stream send window blocks until the peer grants more window, and each block carries a 15 second deadline. Both deadlines restart whenever the peer makes partial progress. Bandit.HTTP2.Connection.finish_data/5 re-queues a partially advanced send in pending_sends with a fresh expires_at, so every WINDOW_UPDATE on stream 0, and every SETTINGS frame, resets the clock. Bandit.HTTP2.Stream.send_data/3 recurses on each stream WINDOW_UPDATE and re-arms a fresh after read_timeout. A peer that grants a few bytes every few seconds keeps the blocked stream process, its Plug state and any resource it holds mid-response alive for as long as it keeps dripping, and repeats this across streams and connections to exhaust server processes and memory. The two paths are independent. The stream-level block is reached on its own by widening the connection window with a large WINDOW_UPDATE on stream 0 and shrinking the per-stream window with a small SETTINGS_INI

A NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in the DNS plugin of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to cause a complete Denial-of-Service (DoS). When multiple DNS queries are received in a single flow session, where one query matches a Security Intelligence (SecIntel) feed and another query is sent for DNS Domain Generation Algorithm (DGA) analysis, an error in processing logging of these asynchronous tasks can lead to an FPC crash. The exact timing conditions are outside an attacker's direct control. • Oct 14, 2026An Improper Restriction of Communication Channel to Intended Endpoints vulnerability in Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved allows an unauthenticated, network-basCVE-2026-102085 · Network & remote access · Juniper Networks · reported by sirt@juniper.netMedium 6.9

An Improper Restriction of Communication Channel to Intended Endpoints vulnerability in Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to cause a limited information disclosure and availability impact to the device. Due to a wrong initialization, a process which should only be able to communicate internally within the device can be reached over the network via an open port. This leads to a device being inadvertently exposed and increased CPU cycles spent processing ingress packets. This issue affects Junos OS Evolved: * All versions before 23.2R2-S7.7-EVO; * 23.4 versions before 23.4R2-S8.11-EVO; * 24.2 versions before 24.2R2-S5.6-EVO; * 24.4 versions before 24.4R2-S4-EVO; * 25.2 version before 25.2R2-S1-EVO; * 25.4 versions before 25.4R1-S1-EVO. • Oct 14, 2026An Improper Resource Locking vulnerability in the UTM processing of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker toCVE-2026-102083 · Network & remote access · Juniper Networks · reported by sirt@juniper.netHigh 8.2

An Improper Resource Locking vulnerability in the UTM processing of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS). When UTM WebFiltering is configured and the WebFiltering cloud server is unreachable, sustained HTTP traffic load may cause the UTM subsystem to crash and restart, which will lead to a complete service outage until the system has recovered. When category lookup requests cannot be completed, they accumulate internally. Under high load and specific timing conditions, an invalid internal state can occur during cleanup of pending WebFiltering lookups, resulting in a crash of the UTM process. This issue applies to both NextGeneration WebFiltering (NGWF) and Enhanced WebFiltering (EWF). This issue affects Junos OS on SRX Series: * 23.2 versions from 23.2R2 before 23.2R2-S7.7; * 23.4 versions from 23.4R2 before 23.4R2-S8.13; * 24.2 versions before 24.2R2-S5.5; * 24.4 versions before 24.4R2-S4; * 25.2 versions before 25.2R2-S1; * 25.4 versions before 25.4R1-S3, 25.4R2.
