SerializingHttpMessageConverter deserializes the body of incoming HTTP requests with a raw java.io.ObjectInputStream and no class filtering. Any request with Content-Type application/x-java-serialized-object whose body resolves to a Serializable type is read directly via readObject(). If an application using this converter on an inbound HTTP endpoint has any known Java deserialization "gadget" on its classpath, a remote, unauthenticated attacker can achieve arbitrary code execution. • Aug 26, 2026Frappe is a full-stack web application framework written in Python and JavaScript.CVE-2026-66003 · Other software · frappe · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Frappe is a full-stack web application framework written in Python and JavaScript. Prior to version 15.115.0, an access control bypass in the REST API allows a user to read data from Linked DocTypes that they are not authorized to access. When a document references another document through a Link field, the framework does not consistently enforce the linked DocType's own permissions when the record is retrieved through the REST API, so a low-privileged authenticated user can obtain fields from linked records outside their permitted scope. This issue is fixed in version 15.115.0.

  • Aug 26, 2026SunEditor is a lightweight and powerful WYSIWYG editor in vanilla JavaScript with no dependencies.CVE-2026-54606 · Other software · JiHong88 · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5

SunEditor is a lightweight and powerful WYSIWYG editor in vanilla JavaScript with no dependencies. Prior to 3.1.4, the SunEditor Embed plugin in src/plugins/modal/embed.js parses attacker-controlled raw embed HTML with DOMParser and processes the resulting DOM nodes. When an external script element follows a valid iframe, the plugin recreates a script element from the attacker-controlled src attribute and appends it to the live DOM, causing JavaScript execution in the editor page. If an application stores or reflects SunEditor content without additional backend sanitization, an attacker who can submit embed HTML can trigger stored or reflected cross-site scripting when another user opens, previews, renders, or edits the content, enabling access to page data and account actions as the victim. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.4.

  • Aug 26, 2026IzPack is a widely used tool for packaging applications on the Java platform as cross-platform installers.CVE-2026-54550 · Other software · izpack · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4

IzPack is a widely used tool for packaging applications on the Java platform as cross-platform installers. In 5.2.6 and earlier, UnpackerBase.unpack() in izpack-installer/src/main/java/com/izforge/izpack/installer/unpacker/UnpackerBase.java obtains an attacker-controlled PackFile targetPath, passes it through IoHelper.translatePath(), which only converts separators, and constructs a File without normalizing parent-directory segments or enforcing destination containment. A malicious installer pack entry containing ../ sequences can therefore write outside the intended installation directory to startup folders, executable search paths, or other locations accessible with the victim's privileges when the victim runs the installer.

libp2p is a JavaScript implementation of the libp2p networking stack. Prior to version 4.2.9, the reservation refresh path in reservation-store.ts reuses the same retimeableSignal but unconditionally registers another abort listener on every refresh. As a result, a remote peer can repeatedly send valid RESERVE requests for the same reservation, causing unbounded listener and closure growth in @libp2p/circuit-relay-v2 relay servers and leading to denial of service. • Aug 20, 2026deepmerge-ts is a typescript library providing functionality to deep merging of javascript objects.CVE-2026-40345 · Other software · RebeccaStevens · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2

deepmerge-ts is a typescript library providing functionality to deep merging of javascript objects. Prior to 8.0.0, the deepmerge, deepmergeCustom, deepmergeInto, and deepmergeIntoCustom APIs do not track visited objects or object pairs when recursively merging records. When two input values contain self-references at the same property path, the merge logic repeatedly revisits the same pair until Node.js raises RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded. Applications that merge attacker-controlled recursive object graphs can synchronously crash the affected process or cause repeated worker restarts. Plain JSON input alone cannot create the recursive graph required to trigger the issue. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.0.

  • Aug 20, 2026Handlebars.java provides logic-less and semantic Mustache templates with Java.CVE-2026-63490 · Other software · jknack · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Handlebars.java provides logic-less and semantic Mustache templates with Java. Prior to 4.5.3, com.github.jknack.handlebars.springmvc.SpringTemplateLoader resolves attacker-influenced Spring MVC view names through Spring ResourceLoader without the path-containment validation used by other URL-based loaders. In handlebars-springmvc/src/main/java/com/github/jknack/handlebars/springmvc/SpringTemplateLoader.java, a view name using a file: or classpath: URL and ending with the # fragment delimiter places the appended .hbs suffix in the fragment, which FileUrlResource.exists() and URL.openStream() discard. HandlebarsViewResolver in handlebars-springmvc/src/main/java/com/github/jknack/handlebars/springmvc/HandlebarsViewResolver.java then passes the attacker-controlled name to handlebars.compile(), allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to read files accessible to the JVM when an application exposes a controller with a user-influenced view name. This issue is fixed in version 4.5.3.

  • Aug 20, 2026n8n versions before 1.123.69, 2.33.4, and 2.34.1 contain a JavaScript task runner VM sandbox escape.CVE-2026-77077 · Other software · n8n-io · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.2

n8n versions before 1.123.69, 2.33.4, and 2.34.1 contain a JavaScript task runner VM sandbox escape. The runner's prototype-freezing routine covers globalThis functions but not internal module constructors such as EventEmitter, allowing an authenticated user with Code node access to exploit prototype pollution to execute arbitrary commands within the runner container. Because the polluted prototype is a process-wide object, the corruption persists across other tenants' Code node executions on the same shared runner. On v1.x instances without task runners enabled, Code node JavaScript runs directly in the main n8n process, where the impact could be higher.

In Splunk SOAR versions below 8.6.0, a user who holds the "Incident Commander" Splunk SOAR role could store JavaScript in a note and run it in the browser of another user when that user opens the note. The stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability is possible because Splunk SOAR can treat existing note content as Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) without sanitizing that content when the note format changes. The vulnerability requires the attacker to phish the affected user by tricking them into initiating a request within their browser. The user who holds the "Incident Commander" Splunk SOAR role should not be able to exploit the vulnerability at will. • Aug 19, 2026LiquidJS is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript.CVE-2026-69222 · Other software · harttle · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

LiquidJS is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript. Prior to 10.27.2, the join filter in src/filters/array.ts computes complexity from array.length and separator length instead of the total string length produced by array.join(sep). The concat filter can cheaply double arrays of references, after which join materializes the referenced content while charging only for element count, allowing a template to exceed a configured memoryLimit by a large factor. The sibling array_to_sentence_string filter in src/filters/string.ts has the same accounting defect, and a crafted template can allocate toward V8's string or process memory limit and crash the process. • Aug 19, 2026Orval generates type-safe JavaScript clients in TypeScript from OpenAPI v3 and Swagger v2 specifications.CVE-2026-62681 · Other software · orval-labs · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3

Orval generates type-safe JavaScript clients in TypeScript from OpenAPI v3 and Swagger v2 specifications. Prior to 8.21.0, an unescaped backtick in an OpenAPI path is emitted into request URL template literals generated for axios, fetch, react-query, and SWR clients without safe encoding. This permits attacker-controlled JavaScript to be evaluated when a generated request, URL-builder, or query-key function is called, resulting in code execution in the developer, CI, test, or application environment. The affected code is packages/core/src/getters/route.ts and route generation consumers. This issue is fixed in version 8.21.0.

Orval generates type-safe JavaScript clients in TypeScript from OpenAPI v3 and Swagger v2 specifications. Prior to 8.22.0, Orval resolves remote and local external $ref values without an allowlist or confinement to the input directory. Processing an attacker-controlled OpenAPI description can cause requests from the developer or CI host to attacker-selected or internal HTTP services, read absolute or out-of-tree local files, and inline untrusted remote schemas into generated clients. The affected code is packages/orval/src/import-specs.ts external reference loading. This issue is fixed in version 8.22.0.

  • Aug 18, 2026The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes.CVE-2026-69220 · Other software · rabbitmq · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. Prior to 5.33.1, src/main/java/com/rabbitmq/client/impl/ValueReader.java permits ValueReader.readTable and ValueReader.readArray to call ValueReader.readFieldValue recursively for AMQP table type F and AMQP array type A values without a nesting-depth limit. A malicious AMQP server or network intermediary can send approximately 580 nested table levels in the pre-authentication connection.start frame, fitting within the default 131072-byte frame maximum, to trigger StackOverflowError. The error terminates the client input processing thread and causes denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 5.33.1.

  • Aug 18, 2026The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes.CVE-2026-69219 · Other software · rabbitmq · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. Prior to 5.33.1, src/main/java/com/rabbitmq/client/impl/ValueReader.java uses ValueReader.readBytes to accept a wire-declared contentLength below Integer.MAX_VALUE and allocate a byte array before checking the bytes available in the frame. A malicious AMQP peer can send a LongString or byte-array field with type tag S and a declared length such as 0x7FFFFFFE during the pre-authentication connection.start server-properties table, causing an approximately 2 GB allocation and OutOfMemoryError before readFully consumes data. The resulting memory exhaustion can terminate the JVM and cause denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 5.33.1.

  • Aug 18, 2026The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes.CVE-2026-63337 · Other software · rabbitmq · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. Prior to 5.33.0, com.rabbitmq.tools.jsonrpc.ProcedureDescription receives a javaReturnType value in an untrusted system.describe response and passes it through JSONUtil.tryFill, setJavaReturnType, and computeReturnTypeAsJavaClass to Class.forName(javaReturnType) with initialization enabled. An attacker able to answer the JsonRpcClient request through a shared broker or network interception can select a class already present in the victim JVM and trigger its static initializer, while JsonRpcClient.java later passes getReturnType output to mapper.parse and may also create type confusion. Successful exploitation can affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability in the client process. This issue is fixed in version 5.33.0.

  • Aug 18, 2026The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes.CVE-2026-63336 · Other software · rabbitmq · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1

The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. Prior to 5.33.0, com.rabbitmq.client.ConnectionFactory.useSslProtocol() and ConnectionFactory.useSslProtocol(String) configure com.rabbitmq.client.TrustEverythingTrustManager and leave hostname verification disabled, causing arbitrary server certificates, including self-signed certificates, to be accepted. A network attacker able to intercept a TLS connection can impersonate the RabbitMQ broker, read protected AMQP traffic, and modify traffic without certificate or hostname validation. The fix changes the production TLS helpers to use the JVM default trust store and enables hostname verification, while retaining an explicitly named development-only no-verification helper. This issue is fixed in version 5.33.0.

  • Aug 18, 2026The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes.CVE-2026-63335 · Other software · rabbitmq · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3

The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. Prior to 5.31.0, inbound AMQP command assembly in src/main/java/com/rabbitmq/client/impl/CommandAssembler.java processes a content-bearing method and header whose remainingBodyBytes value is smaller than a following AMQP.FRAME_BODY payload. CommandAssembler.consumeBodyFrame subtracts the peer-controlled payload length before validating that it fits, drives remainingBodyBytes negative, and throws a raw UnsupportedOperationException instead of MalformedFrameException. A malicious or compromised broker peer can send this malformed sequence on an open nonzero channel to terminate frame processing and close the client connection, causing denial of service for work using that connection. This issue is fixed in version 5.31.0.

  • Aug 18, 2026The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes.CVE-2026-61634 · Other software · rabbitmq · reported by GitHubNone

The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. Prior to 5.33.0, the AMQP connection tuning path records the negotiated AMQP frame_max value, but src/main/java/com/rabbitmq/client/impl/SocketFrameHandler.java and NettyFrameHandlerFactory continue to validate broker-controlled frame payload lengths against maxInboundMessageBodySize because the negotiated limit is not applied consistently through setMaxInboundFramePayloadSize. A malicious or compromised broker can send a method frame larger than the negotiated frame_max during or after connection establishment, causing the client to allocate and decode a protocol-invalid frame instead of rejecting it with MalformedFrameException. The protocol violation can disrupt the affected connection and cause client-side denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 5.33.0.
