  • Aug 28, 2026A database user able to create a view in a namespace that MongoDB Connector for BI samples can cause the schema-sampling routine to stop functioning by definingCVE-2026-81490 · Other software · MongoDB · reported by cna@mongodb.comHigh 8.3

A database user able to create a view in a namespace that MongoDB Connector for BI samples can cause the schema-sampling routine to stop functioning by defining a view whose evaluation reliably fails. The sampling logic classifies the resulting server message as transient and, after the configured retries are exhausted, proceeds without a valid result, ending the schema refresh routine. The mongosqld process continues running without a usable schema, so SQL clients are unable to obtain results until an operator removes the view or excludes its namespace from sampling.

  • Aug 28, 2026In MongoDB Connector for BI, the description text of a collection's JSON schema validator is incorporated into the comment text of the DDL returned by SHOW CREACVE-2026-77184 · Other software · MongoDB · reported by cna@mongodb.comMedium 5.7

In MongoDB Connector for BI, the description text of a collection's JSON schema validator is incorporated into the comment text of the DDL returned by SHOW CREATE statements without complete escaping of backslash characters. A user with permission to modify a collection's schema validator, in deployments configured to build their SQL schema from those validators, can cause additional SQL text to be embedded in that generated output. If an operator or automated tool later replays that generated statement against a SQL server, the additional text is executed with the privileges of that session.

An attacker that can send mail to a user can craft a message whose headers contain a very large number of email addresses or MIME parameters, which causes excessive memory usage when the message is later parsed. The message is still delivered, but reading it over IMAP can exhaust the memory limit of the process and terminate it, causing denial of service for the affected user. Dolibarr 9.0.0 through 23.0.4 saves inbound email attachments under the name supplied in the message's MIME headers without reducing it to a safe basename. The global saveAttachment() in htdocs/emailcollector/lib/emailcollector.lib.php builds $filepath = $path . $filename . '.' . $ext and hands it to file_put_contents(), and the private saveAttachment() in htdocs/emailcollector/class/emailcollector.class.php writes to $destdir.'/'.$filename; the name reaches both from the attachment's own getName() or getFilename() value by way of the record-join, create-ticket and create-project operations. A traversal sequence in the filename therefore survives intact, so any sender who can email a mailbox that an EmailCollector monitors, which is the module's ordinary use for a support or ticket inbox, can place attacker-controlled content outside the per-object attachment directory without holding a Dolibarr account. Under the hardened layout Dolibarr's SECURITY.md requires, with htdocs read-only, the write is confined to the documents tree and corrupts or forges other objects' documents; where htdocs is writable the same primitive reaches a web-executable path. • Aug 27, 2026Affected versions of Flowintel incorrectly attempted to validate login email addresses by calling Email(email).CVE-2026-81827 · Other software · flowintel · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 6.9

Affected versions of Flowintel incorrectly attempted to validate login email addresses by calling Email(email). That does not perform WTForms field validation; it merely constructs a validator object. Consequently, malformed attacker-controlled email input could continue through the login process and be written to security-relevant logs. The vulnerable code inserted the supplied email into both a warning log and the custom audit logger. Since CR/LF characters were not escaped, an unauthenticated attacker could potentially inject additional physical log lines or forge misleading log entries. The patch corrects the validation call to Email()(form, form.email), changes the standard logging call to parameterized logging, and introduces _sanitize_log_fragment() so carriage returns and line feeds are encoded instead of creating new records. Version impacted >=3.3.0

A flaw was found in Foreman. The template revision endpoint does not enforce object-level authorization when retrieving an audited template revision. An authenticated, low privileged user with a template-related permission, such as view_ptables, can obtain historical template contents belonging to another organization or location by supplying the corresponding audit ID. This can result in unauthorized disclosure of historical template contents, which may contain sensitive configuration information, credentials, or other secrets. QWED is open-source AI verification infrastructure for deterministic verification of LLM outputs, tool calls, code, schemas, and agent state before production execution. Prior to 5.1.2, the qwed package passes caller-controlled math expressions directly to SymPy parse_expr() without restricted global_dict and local_dict namespaces, allowing Python eval() to resolve builtins and execute arbitrary Python code in the API server process. In src/qwed_new/api/main.py, POST /verify/math is protected by get_current_tenant but accepts any valid tenant API key, reads the expression field, applies only a cosmetic re.sub(r'(\d)(()', r'\1*\2', expression) normalization, and passes the result to parse_expr(). In src/qwed_new/core/batch.py, POST /verify/batch sends math items through batch_service.create_job(), stores item.query verbatim, and _verify_item() passes VerificationType.MATH input to parse_expr() without sanitization. The default-enabled POST /auth/signup endpoint allows anyone to create a standard tenant account, POST /auth/api-keys issues an x-api-key, and either vulnerable path can then be used to read or write files, modify data, execute operating system commands, terminate the ser

mcp-shell is an MCP server for running shell commands securely, auditably, and on demand. Prior to 0.6.0, the default security.yaml allows /usr/bin/git, while security.go omits ! from containsShellMetacharacters and containsDangerousShellConstructs and applies no per-executable argument policy. A caller of the shell_exec MCP tool can provide the command argument /usr/bin/git -c alias.pwn=!<arbitrary-command>, causing Git to create a shell alias and execute arbitrary OS commands as the mcp-shell process user. The default Docker image runs as mcpuser with Git installed and secure mode enabled, so the bypass is exploitable in the default deployment without additional authentication beyond MCP connectivity. Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in Avro SerDe schema resolution in Apache Hive before 4.2.1 allows an authenticated remote attacker with CREATE TABLE privilege to cause the Hive server to fetch an attacker-controlled URL when resolving the avro.schema.url table property on an Avro table that is subsequently queried. With no DDPRateLimiter rule registered for it, a caller can drive an unbounded volume of reset mail at a chosen address from the deployment's own mail sender, and can probe addresses at scale: the method answers true for an address with no account and for a successful send, but false when the address belongs to an account that authenticates through an external provider and Accounts_AllowPasswordChangeForOAuthUsers is off, so repeated calls distinguish that class of account. Later versions register a rule permitting ten calls per minute per client address.

The Grav Email plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-email) before 4.2.2 renders page-editor-controlled Email action parameters as unsandboxed Twig templates. The Grav Login plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-login) before 3.9.1 is vulnerable to email address enumeration. The register() method in classes/Login.php throws a distinct exception (EMAIL_NOT_AVAILABLE) when a submitted email address already belongs to an existing account, while allowing registration to proceed otherwise. Because the registration endpoint has no rate limiting, an attacker can enumerate which email addresses have accounts on the site, one guess per request.

  • Aug 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/filemap: __filemap_add_folio() restore index before retrying In __filemap_add_folio()'sCVE-2026-74591 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/filemap: __filemap_add_folio() restore index before retrying In __filemap_add_folio()'s split-a-conflict loop, xas_set_order() is applied repeatedly: each application modifies xas.xa_index, rounding it down according to the split_order attempted at that stage: and if all goes as intended, it eventually (or immediately) converges on an xas_try_split() to the required folio_order, with xas.xa_index now the same as index: then xas_store() puts the new folio into the xarray there. But if a new node was needed, and GFP_NOWAIT allocation did not get one, the lock is dropped, xas_nomem() used to allocate, and sequence retried. If (that part of) the xarray is unchanged when the lock is reacquired, no problem. But what if the conflict was meanwhile resolved by another thread (perhaps even doing the same thing, inserting a folio at that same index)? Isn't there a danger of now putting our folio into the xarray at an intermediate rounded-down index? With !folio_contains() bug to follow, when CONFIG_DEBUG_VM=y is checking for that. Fix this with an xas_set_order() to restore the original xas.xa_index at the bottom o

GNU Emacs before 31.0.91 contains an integer overflow in the PBM/PPM/PGM image loader that allows an attacker to leak heap memory contents by supplying a crafted image with large dimensions and an elevated max color index. The image loader multiplies image dimensions and channel count using signed integer arithmetic; for sufficiently large values, the result wraps to a negative number, bypassing the bounds check and causing the pixel reader to access heap memory past the end of the allocated buffer. The over-read contents are interpreted as pixel color values and rendered on screen.

  • Aug 20, 2026SitemapLoader.parse_sitemap in langchain_community/document_loaders/sitemap.py applies the documented restrict_to_same_domain control only to leaf url entries.CVE-2026-72848 · Other software · langchain-ai · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.7

SitemapLoader.parse_sitemap in langchain_community/document_loaders/sitemap.py applies the documented restrict_to_same_domain control only to leaf url entries. The loop over url elements filters cross-domain locations, but the loop over nested sitemap elements passes the child loc straight to self.scrape_all([loc.text], "xml"), which reaches WebBaseLoader.scrape_all and an aiohttp GET, with no domain comparison and no check for private, loopback or link-local destinations. An attacker who controls or influences an ingested sitemap can therefore point a nested sitemap entry at an internal address and make the server fetch it even when the deploying application set restrict_to_same_domain to True specifically to confine outbound requests. The fetched content is parsed and surfaces in the returned Documents, so internal responses are disclosed to the caller rather than merely requested.

  • Aug 20, 2026Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers.CVE-2026-67448 · Other software · axllent · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers. From 1.29.0 until 1.30.6, Mailpit's server/server.go origin middleware checks the raw RequestURI for the /api/ prefix while Go's ServeMux routes using the percent-decoded URL path, and server/websockets/client.go configures websocket.Upgrader.CheckOrigin to return true. A malicious website can request /%61pi/events, skip corsOriginAccessControl(), reach the /api/events WebSocket handler, and receive live message IDs, Message-Id values, sender and recipient fields, subjects, tags, and body snippets from an unauthenticated default Mailpit instance after the user visits the site. This is a regression of the earlier WebSocket origin protection and does not affect deployments protected by --ui-auth-file. This issue is fixed in version 1.30.6.

  • Aug 20, 2026Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers.CVE-2026-67447 · Other software · axllent · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers. From 1.30.0 until 1.30.5, Mailpit's internal/smtpd/smtpd.go readData() function calls bufio.Reader.ReadBytes before applying the len(data)+len(line) size check to the completed SMTP DATA line against Server.MaxSize. An unauthenticated SMTP client can send a single line larger than the configured MaxMessageSize, causing the full line to be allocated before Mailpit returns the 552 5.3.4 rejection. This post-fix gap remains after normal multi-line DATA accumulation was bounded, and concurrent oversized lines can create substantial memory pressure beyond the configured message-size cap. This issue is fixed in version 1.30.5.
