  • Aug 30, 2026MyHome Core: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-15980 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The MyHome Core plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 4.4.5. This is due to missing authorization in the send_link() AJAX handler and improper token validation in the activate() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to generate an activation token for an unconfirmed user account and obtain a valid authentication cookie for that account, including administrators. Successful exploitation requires the MyHome theme to be configured in legacy/WPBakery mode with frontend registration and confirmation email enabled, and the target account must not already have the myhome_agent_confirmed user meta set.

  • Aug 29, 2026SAML Single Sign On – SSO Login: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-75807 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The SAML Single Sign On – SSO Login plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in versions up to, and including, 5.4.6. This is due to the mo_saml_login_validate() ACS handler persisting the X.509 certificate extracted from an incoming SAMLResponse into the mo_saml_required_certificate option before the signature-validation verdict is enforced, because mo_saml_find_certificate() returns false on a fingerprint mismatch rather than halting execution. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to overwrite the plugin's stored IdP signing certificate with an attacker-controlled value, and subsequently forge SAML assertions for any WordPress account — including administrators — to obtain a fully privileged session. Note: The exploit requires the administrator to perform a repair after receiving the test_config_error_wpsamlerr004 error message during the test configuration.

  • Aug 28, 2026WPMU DEV Dashboard: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-76581 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.1. This is due to inconsistent and ambiguous HMAC message construction between the unauthenticated `wdpsso_step1` and `wdpsso_step2` AJAX actions, where step 1 signs and discloses an unseparated concatenation of the token, state, redirect, and domain values, while step 2 verifies an unseparated concatenation that omits the domain field. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers, on sites connected to WPMU DEV with Hub SSO enabled and mapped to an administrator, to obtain a valid HMAC from step 1 and replay it to step 2 by moving the domain value into the redirect field, resulting in an authenticated administrator session.

    Product

  • Aug 26, 2026Classified Listing - Mobile Number Verification: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-15985 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The Classified Listing - Mobile Number Verification plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.0. This is due to missing server-side Firebase OTP validation in the process_otp_login() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to authenticate as any user with a phone number registered in the plugin's phone table by submitting an arbitrary OTP code and UID through the Firebase OTP login flow. Successful exploitation requires OTP login to be enabled with Firebase selected as the verification gateway, and requires the attacker to know or guess the target account's registered phone number. Administrator account takeover is possible if an administrator account has a phone number registered in the plugin.

  • Aug 26, 2026WP Fastest Cache – WordPress Cache: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-19760 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The WP Fastest Cache – WordPress Cache Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via HTTP Host Header in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the Polylang or Polylang Pro plugin to be active and the Combine JS option to be enabled, as these conditions trigger the vulnerable Host-header-to-URL code path that writes attacker-controlled script src values into the shared page-cache file served to all subsequent visitors.

  • Aug 26, 2026Tutor LMS: Does not validate values used to build a database queryCVE-2026-19094 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 5.3

The Tutor LMS WordPress plugin before 4.0.6 does not validate values used to build a database query, and does not restrict which template file a request may load, allowing unauthenticated users to inject SQL and to read question and answer content belonging to courses that are not publicly available. The injected text reaches the query as grammar rather than as data, and on the database engines tested it does not yield extraction of arbitrary data, so the confidentiality impact is the disclosed course content rather than the database at large.

  • Aug 25, 2026Newsletters: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-75908 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Newsletters plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 4.17. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to send arbitrary newsletter emails to users of any WordPress role, including administrators, by forging POST fields during a normal post submission. This allows an attacker-supplied role slug via the newsletters_mailinglistsroles POST field to be passed directly to get_users(), enabling unauthorized mass-mailing and potential phishing against privileged site users through the site's own outbound email channel.

  • Aug 25, 2026FundEngine – Donation and Crowdfunding Platform: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-75930 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The FundEngine – Donation and Crowdfunding Platform plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.8.1. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to modify arbitrary posts and pages — overwriting title and content, and seizing ownership by supplying an attacker-controlled post_author integer that bypasses wp_kses_post sanitization. The wp_rest nonce required by the handler is trivially obtainable by any logged-in user via /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=rest-nonce and therefore does not constitute an authorization barrier.

This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to create arbitrary BetterLinks short URLs with attacker-controlled slugs and redirect destinations, enabling phishing and SEO abuse. Exploitation requires the Fluent Boards companion plugin to be installed and active (so that the FLUENT_BOARDS constant is defined), and is further facilitated by the betterlinks_admin_nonce nonce being emitted on every frontend page via wp_localize_script, making it accessible to any authenticated user.

  • Aug 22, 2026PPWP – Password Protect Pages: PHP Object InjectionCVE-2026-0551 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The PPWP – Password Protect Pages plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 1.9.18 via deserialization of untrusted input from the 'post_protection_roles' vulnerable parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject a PHP Object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, which means this vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it may allow the attacker to perform actions like delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code depending on the POP chain present.

  • Aug 22, 2026Post Duplicator: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-4245 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Post Duplicator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.11. This is due to the `duplicate_post_permissions()` permission callback only verifying the `duplicate_posts` capability without checking whether the requesting user holds `publish_posts` or other status-gated capabilities. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to create duplicate posts with `future` (scheduled, auto-publishes) or `private` status, bypassing editorial review. Additionally, the REST endpoint does not enforce administrator-configured post-type duplication restrictions, allowing duplication of post types that have been explicitly disabled.

The AutomatorWP – Automator plugin for no-code automations, webhooks & custom integrations in WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 5.8.4. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to retrieve the site's configured Campaign Monitor mailing list catalog, including all list IDs and names, that should be restricted to users with the plugin's manager capability. • Aug 22, 2026Themify Builder: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-75027 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Themify Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 7.8.0. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify the stored Themify Builder styling data (padding and margin properties) of arbitrary posts, including private and draft posts, by supplying an attacker-controlled post ID and JSON styling payload. The nonce required by the handler is automatically emitted to all frontend pages rendered by the builder via wp_localize_script, meaning any unauthenticated visitor can trivially retrieve a valid nonce from page source and satisfy the only access control in place.
