Oct 16, 2026Wp Map Block: Unauthorized modification of dataCVE-2026-19798 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3
The Wp Map Block plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the set_status() and bulk() functions in the Maps_Controller REST controller in versions up to, and including, 3.0.0. The plugin's permission_callback (can_edit()) only verifies current_user_can('edit_posts') and performs no object-level ownership check or verification of publish-level capabilities, while the handlers pass the caller-controlled map ID directly to wp_update_post() (and wp_delete_post() in the bulk delete branch) to change post_status between publish and draft. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to publish or unpublish (and bulk-delete) any wpmb_map post, including maps owned by administrators, which hides published maps from all public pages site-wide or forces draft maps to become publicly visible.

Oct 16, 2026WP Booking System – Booking Calendar: Generic SQL InjectionCVE-2026-111178 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.9
The WP Booking System – Booking Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'data[orderby]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.0.1 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Exploitation requires the targeted calendar to have more than 200 bookings, as the orderby value is only forwarded to the database layer when the AJAX handler takes the use_ajax branch; an Administrator can satisfy this condition by creating bookings directly.

Oct 16, 2026WP Mail Logging: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-109401 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceLow 2.7
The WP Mail Logging plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.17.0 via the 'email_address' parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to extract complete logged mail rows belonging to other users — including recipient addresses, message subjects, full message bodies, and any URLs contained therein — whose addresses happen to match the wildcard. Exploitation requires an administrator to process a personal-data export request for the attacker's email address via the standard WordPress privacy workflow, and the attacker's address must contain a LIKE wildcard character (such as an underscore) that matches at least one other user's address in the mail log.

Oct 16, 2026WSP MCP AI Agents Connector: Sensitive Information DisclosureCVE-2026-109382 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5
The WSP MCP AI Agents Connector plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Disclosure in versions up to, and including, 2.9.5. This is due to the wsp_get_posts MCP tool being registered with an empty capability requirement while the MCP endpoint's authenticate() method accepts any logged-in user, and the wsp_execute_get_posts() callback honouring a caller-supplied status=all argument that expands into a WP_Query over 'publish', 'draft', 'pending' and 'future' posts with no author or ownership filter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to read the titles, URLs, authors, categories, tags and 40-word excerpts of every unpublished (draft/pending/scheduled) post on the site.

Oct 16, 2026Photo Engine (Media Organizer & Lightroom): Authorization bypassCVE-2026-107770 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.8
The Photo Engine (Media Organizer & Lightroom) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 6.5.6 This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to permanently delete arbitrary media attachments via wp_delete_attachment and upload new attachments to the site, actions that require the upload_files or edit_others_posts capabilities. A Subscriber-level user can obtain their own wplr_auth_token directly from the profile.php page source, because the admin screen guard in Meow_WPLR_Sync_Admin::__construct() is commented out, causing wp_localize_script to leak the token into every admin page view; this token can then be used from a cookie-less HTTP session to invoke destructive actions on the /?wplr-sync-api endpoint.

The TranslatePress – Translate Multilingual sites with AI Translation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The HUSKY – Products Filter for WooCommerce Professional plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.5 via the 'woof_settings[woof_stat][server_options]' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the external MySQL host, database name, username, and plaintext password stored in woof_settings[woof_stat][server_options] from the inline woof_tm_data script object on any public frontend filter page. Oct 16, 2026WP Compress – Instant Performance & Speed Optimization: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-104755 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.8
The WP Compress – Instant Performance & Speed Optimization plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 7.25.00 The vulnerability exists because the `start_comms` dispatcher (`wps_ic_comms::start_comms`), hooked on every front-end request, gates access only by comparing the caller-supplied `apikey` parameter against the stored plugin API key with no WordPress capability check and no nonce verification, then passes the unvalidated `group`, `setting`, and `value` parameters directly to `change_setting()`, which writes them into the `WPS_IC_SETTINGS` option without an allow-list. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to write arbitrary permission keys into the plugin's settings, causing `wps_ic_users::checkAndAddCaps()` to grant any WordPress role — including Subscriber — the `manage_wpc_settings` capability and thereby achieve plugin-administrator-equivalent control over the plugin's optimization, CDN, and critical-CSS surfaces. The API key required to pass the authorization check can itself be obtained without authentication via the `wpc_send_critical_remote` nopriv AJAX action: when the external critical-CSS service

The Sunshine Photo Cart – Client Photo Gallery & Photo Proofing for Photographers plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 3.7.4 via deserialization of untrusted input . This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject a PHP Object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, which means this vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it may allow the attacker to perform actions like delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code depending on the POP chain present. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, the attacker can store the malicious payload unauthenticated via the public favorites page and trigger deserialization by viewing any image in a non-viewable or private gallery.

Oct 16, 2026PilotPress: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-85659 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8
The PilotPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation via Account Takeover in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.43. The vulnerability exists because the `update_cc_details()` AJAX handler forwards an attacker-supplied `username` parameter to ONTRAPORT via `api_call('update_cc_details', ...)` before performing the local `username_exists()` collision check, and aborts without rolling back the remote rename when a collision is detected — leaving the remote ONTRAPORT contact renamed to an existing WordPress Administrator's login. On a subsequent login attempt, `user_login()` (hooked to `wp_authenticate`) authenticates against ONTRAPORT using the renamed login and the attacker's own password, resolves the local WordPress user row via `get_user_by('login', $username)` — which now selects the real Administrator's row — and calls `wp_set_password()` against that Administrator's user ID; because the `user_level != 10` guard only suppresses PilotPress's own cookie issuance rather than returning a `WP_Error` to core, WordPress proceeds to validate the newly-synchronized password and issues a full Administrator authentication cookie to the attacker. This makes it possi

Oct 16, 2026User Profile Builder – Beautiful User Registration Forms, User Profiles & User Role Editor: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-109447 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1
The User Profile Builder – Beautiful User Registration Forms, User Profiles & User Role Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.3 via the `role` parameter handled by the `wppb_add_meta_to_user_on_activation()` function. The vulnerability exists because the activation handler passes the attacker-supplied role value directly to `WP_User::set_role()` with no allow-list validation, and the 4.0.3 reserved-name check exempts pre-existing form fields from the block, allowing a legacy field with meta-name `role` to persist and bridge attacker-controlled request input into the serialized signup record stored in `wp_signups`. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to gain a fully activated WordPress administrator account by submitting `role=administrator` through the public `[wppb-register]` shortcode form and subsequently clicking the confirmation activation link. Exploitation requires the site to have a legacy form field with meta-name `role` carried over from before the 4.0.3 upgrade, email confirmation enabled, and open user registration — all stable site-state conditions once established.

The Vitepos – Point of Sale (POS) for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to blind SQL Injection via the 'src_by[].val.start / src_by[].val.end (operator 'bt')' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.6.1 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with vendor-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. This is an incomplete fix for a previously patched SQL injection (version 3.6.0), which addressed only the gt/lt/le/ge operators while leaving the 'bt' (BETWEEN) operator branch unpatched.

Oct 16, 2026The Slim SEO – AI SEO Plugin, Lightweight, Fast & Automated: Arbitrary shortcode executionCVE-2026-104001 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4
The The Slim SEO – AI SEO Plugin, Lightweight, Fast & Automated plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.11.1 This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary shortcodes. A Subscriber-level user need only save the shortcode payload to their own Biographical Info field via the REST API or wp-admin profile page; the shortcode then executes on any unauthenticated front-end request that resolves that author's description, such as requests using the ?author= query parameter when auto_redirection is disabled.

Oct 16, 202610Web Booster – Website speed optimization, Cache & Page Speed optimizer: A limited file writeCVE-2026-103896 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The 10Web Booster – Website speed optimization, Cache & Page Speed optimizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a limited file write via path traversal in versions up to, and including, 2.34.5 This is due to the OptimizerWebPageCache::get_cache_file_dir() function concatenating raw, unsanitized $_GET parameter names and values into the on-disk cache path, and the cache_content() sink calling mkdir() and file_put_contents() on the result with no realpath containment check — unlike the sibling delete_page_cache(), which does perform one. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create arbitrary directories (mode 0777, recursively) outside the cache root and write a cached page into them. The write is LIMITED: the filename is always 'source.html', so the extension is fixed, and the content is the rendered page buffer rather than attacker-supplied data. PHP files cannot be written and code execution is not possible; the demonstrated impact is cache poisoning and arbitrary directory creation.

Oct 16, 2026Nexter Extension – Security, Performance, Code Snippets & Site Toolkit: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-111114 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The Nexter Extension – Security, Performance, Code Snippets & Site Toolkit plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.7.11 The vulnerability exists because the `/?reset-view` handler in `role_switcher_to_view_admin_as()` performs no nonce or capability check when the supplied username matches the authenticated caller, and because the plugin's only cleanup mechanism — the `profile_update` hook — does not fire when WordPress performs a bulk role change via `wp-admin/users.php?action=promote`, which calls `WP_User::set_role()` directly and leaves a stale `administrator` value in the `nxtext_view_admin_original_role` user meta. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access or above to restore the stale stored Administrator role to their own account, effectively escalating their privileges to Administrator. Exploitation requires that the attacker's account previously held the Administrator role and used the View Admin Role Switcher feature before being demoted specifically through the bulk role-change control rather than the Edit User screen, as only the bulk path bypasses the `profile_update` hook

The Mail Mint plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'filters' parameter of the /wp-json/mrm/v1/segments/contacts REST endpoint in versions up to, and including, 1.31.4 This is due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied filter 'value' before it is appended to a SQL query in SegmentFilterService::get_meta_join_query() at line 797, where the value is string-interpolated into the WHERE fragment in a numeric (unquoted) context and the surrounding $wpdb->prepare() calls do not cover the injected value. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with the custom 'mint_read_contacts' capability (granted to Administrators by default, and configurable to lower roles via the plugin's role manager), to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

The MailOptin – Popup, Optin Forms & Email Newsletters for Mailchimp, HubSpot, AWeber Etc. plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.78.6 This is due to the `subscribe_to_email_list` endpoint accepting an attacker-supplied `optin_data[form_custom_field_mappings]` parameter without any allow-list validation on destination keys, allowing the attacker-controlled mapping to override the administrator's saved mapping and pass arbitrary `wp_users` column names — including `ID` and `user_pass` — directly into `wp_insert_user()` via the `subscribe()` function. The InstaWP Connect – 1-click WP Staging & Migration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 0.1.4.1 This is due to the plugin registering its admin page via `add_management_page()` using a role name returned by `InstaWP_Setting::get_allowed_role()` as the required capability — which WordPress resolves as a real capability match for any user holding that role — combined with `generate_section_field()` rendering the master API key from the `instawp_api_options` option directly as the `value` attribute of a plain-text HTML input with no additional `manage_options` or equivalent capability check. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above to read the plaintext master API key, use its SHA-256-derived secret as a bearer token accepted by the plugin's REST API `validate_api_request()`, and call `POST /wp-json/instawp-connect/v2/auto-login` to mint a 30-second single-use login URL that sets an administrator authentication cookie — fully escalating their privileges. Oct 16, 2026My Calendar – Accessible Event Manager: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-104798 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8
The My Calendar – Accessible Event Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 3.8.7. The public `mcs` GET parameter is reflected into post content unsanitized before WordPress core's `do_shortcode` filter runs, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to inject a nested `[my_calendar above=...]` shortcode; `mc_generate_calendar_nav()` then splits the `above` attribute on commas and dispatches each element via `call_user_func()` with no authentication, authorization, or callable allowlist check. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to invoke arbitrary loaded PHP functions, enabling a call chain in which the shortcode `$params` array is passed to `edit_user()` — which PHP coerces to integer `1` as the `$user_id` argument — overwriting the credentials of the initial Administrator account (user ID 1) and granting the attacker full wp-admin access. Oct 16, 2026miniOrange OTP Login, Verification and SMS Notifications: Authentication BypassCVE-2026-103895 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1
The miniOrange OTP Login, Verification and SMS Notifications plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in versions up to, and including, 5.5.8 via the `mo_by_pass_login()` function. This is due to `mo_delay_otp_process()` short-circuiting the authentication flow before password validation or the administrator intent gate (added in 5.5.6) can run, combined with the Delay OTP grace flag (`mov_last_verified_dttm`) being stored as a `user_meta` row keyed solely by target user ID with no binding to the originating session, cookie, IP address, or device. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to authenticate as any WordPress user — including administrators — by submitting only a known username with the `mo_wp_login_intent=otp` parameter and any non-empty password, thereby inheriting a legitimate user's open Delay OTP grace window without ever supplying correct credentials. Exploitation requires the site to have OTP-only login (`wp_login_skip_password=1`, `wp_login_skip_password_fallback=0`) and Delay OTP Verification (`wp_login_delay_otp=1`) enabled, and the target account must currently be within its configured Delay OTP interval.

The Forminator Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form & Custom Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary Shortcode Execution in versions up to, and including, 1.58.1. This is due to the forminator_replace_quiz_form_data() helper invoking do_shortcode() on the fully expanded notification body once the {quiz_result} merge tag has been substituted, while the earlier-substituted {user_agent} and {refer_url} merge tags carry unauthenticated attacker-controlled bytes (the User-Agent header and the referer_url POST parameter) through sanitize_text_field()/esc_html(), neither of which strip the '[' and ']' shortcode delimiters. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary WordPress shortcodes registered on the site by submitting a quiz whose notification template contains {quiz_result}; the resulting impact depends on the shortcodes exposed by other installed plugins/themes and can range from arbitrary content injection to information disclosure.

The Backuply – Backup, Restore, Migrate and Clone plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the Biographical Info field (second-order, via restore) in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.8 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and the lack of sufficient preparation on an existing SQL query. Backuply exports the Biographical Info value verbatim inside an INSERT statement written to the backup's SQL dump (wp_usermeta). When an Administrator later restores such a backup, the crafted payload breaks out of that INSERT statement and appends attacker-controlled SQL that executes with full database privileges. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to write arbitrary data to the database — in particular to update the default_role option in wp_options to administrator (and enable open user registration) — so that a subsequently registered account is automatically granted the Administrator role, resulting in privilege escalation and full site takeover. Because the injection executes inside an INSERT during restore with no response returned to the attacker, the primitive is used to modify database reco
