  • Aug 29, 2026Sigma Forms Pro: Remote Code ExecutionCVE-2026-14494 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The Sigma Forms Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.5 via the handle_form_submission function. This is due to the plugin dynamically granting the unfiltered_upload capability to all users during form submissions and bypassing MIME type validation when allowed_file_types is not configured. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server. Several default pre-built templates including Job Application, Support Ticket, and Wholesale Application have file upload fields with no file type restrictions configured by design, making this vulnerability immediately exploitable upon installation.

    What to do
Affects up to 1.4.5. Update Sigma Forms Pro to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.

  • Aug 28, 2026Everest Forms: Server-Side Request ForgeryCVE-2026-5096 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Everest Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 3.4.4. This is due to the `load_previous_field_value()` method in `class-evf-form-task.php` accepting arbitrary URL values from `$_POST` data for upload fields without domain restriction, which are then passed to `wp_remote_head()` in the `get_local_file_size()` method of `class-evf-form-fields-upload.php`. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to force the WordPress server to make outbound HTTP HEAD requests to arbitrary URLs by submitting a form with an upload field containing a malicious URL while leaving a required field empty to trigger form re-rendering.

  • Aug 28, 2026GiveWP – Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-5510 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The GiveWP – Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'give_form' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 4.14.4. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the continue_button_title and display_style shortcode attributes, which are passed through sanitize_text_field() but not properly escaped when output in HTML data attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. • Aug 26, 2026Formidable Forms – WordPress Form Builder for Contact Forms, Calculators, Quizzes & More: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-18331 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Formidable Forms – WordPress Form Builder for Contact Forms, Calculators, Quizzes & More plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'frm_user_id' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 6.33.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. By forging frm_user_id to match an administrator's user ID — discoverable via the public WordPress REST API — an unauthenticated attacker causes wp_kses_post() to serve as the only output filter, which preserves the injected payload structurally intact; the plugin's admin JavaScript then decodes and executes it automatically on page load.

  • Aug 26, 2026TranslatePress – Translate Multilingual sites with AI Translation: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-19632 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The TranslatePress – Translate Multilingual sites with AI Translation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.1 via the 'trp_get_translations_regular' AJAX action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the raw administrator password-reset URL — including the plaintext reset key and login parameters stored in the translation dictionary table — enabling full administrator account takeover. This vulnerability is only exploitable when automatic string saving is enabled (the default setting) and the target administrator's profile locale is set to a published secondary language, as these conditions cause the password-reset URL to be persisted as a translatable string in the secondary-language dictionary table.

The Forminator Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form & Custom Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to DOM-Based Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'error_description' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.57.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The vulnerability is only triggerable on pages hosting a Forminator form configured to use the Stripe Checkout Sessions payment API, which became the default in 1.56.0.

  • Aug 25, 2026Forminator Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form & Custom Form Builder: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-18323 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Forminator Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form & Custom Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Radio Field (Save and Continue Draft) in all versions up to, and including, 1.57.0.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is exploitable because the Save-and-Continue draft submission AJAX endpoint is registered as nopriv, allowing unauthenticated attackers to bypass radio field option-membership validation and persist a crafted payload that, when rendered on the Submissions admin page, is auto-executed via the bundled Inputmask library's data-attribute callback binding.

The MetForm – Contact Form, Survey, Quiz, & Custom Form Builder for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'mf_form_id' Widget Setting in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The payload bypasses Elementor's save-time wp_kses_post filter because it contains no HTML tags, and MetForm's own str_replace transformation of script tags into JavaScript template literal expressions provides an additional delivery path.

This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The REST endpoint used to submit the video URL has its permission_callback set to __return_true, meaning any authenticated user — including those with Subscriber-level access — can reach the vulnerable code path.

  • Aug 25, 2026FundEngine – Donation and Crowdfunding Platform: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-75930 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The FundEngine – Donation and Crowdfunding Platform plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.8.1. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to modify arbitrary posts and pages — overwriting title and content, and seizing ownership by supplying an attacker-controlled post_author integer that bypasses wp_kses_post sanitization. The wp_rest nonce required by the handler is trivially obtainable by any logged-in user via /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=rest-nonce and therefore does not constitute an authorization barrier.

The WS Form LITE – Drag & Drop Contact Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 1.10.80 via deserialization of untrusted input from form submission meta values. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject a PHP Object. The Automation Web Platform – Notifications and OTP for WooCommerce, Advanced Country Code plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in versions up to, and including, 4.8.6. This is due to the handle_email_otp_return() function returning the secret magic login token in the response to a publicly accessible OTP request, rather than only delivering it to the user's email address. • Aug 21, 2026WPForms Pro: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-18409 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The WPForms Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Single Line Text and Paragraph Text Field Values in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.0.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The exploit relies on the plugin's own wp_kses_allowed_html filter widening the 'post' allowlist to permit iframe elements with a data-src attribute, which is not on WordPress's URI-attribute sanitization list, allowing a javascript: URI stored in data-src to survive kses processing and subsequently be promoted to a live src attribute by the bundled admin script view-entry.min.js.
