  • Aug 27, 2026Affected versions of Flowintel improperly trust configuration keys supplied to the alerts settings update endpoint.CVE-2026-81662 · Other software · flowintel · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 8.6

    Affected versions of Flowintel improperly trust configuration keys supplied to the alerts settings update endpoint. While configuration values were normalized to Python literals, the corresponding keys were used directly when constructing and replacing lines in conf/config_module.py. The vulnerable code used requester-controlled keys in both the regular expression and the generated assignment: f'{key} = {py_val}' and appended an assignment if the key was not already present. The modified Python configuration module was subsequently reloaded using importlib.reload(). This creates a code-generation boundary in which specially crafted configuration keys can alter the Python source structure and result in execution of attacker-controlled Python statements. Version impacted >=3.3.0

  • Aug 25, 2026Punk::Plugin::TOTP versions before 0.05 for Perl allow the second-factor attempt limit to be reset by replaying an earlier session cookie because the challenge CVE-2026-78655 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.1

    Punk::Plugin::TOTP versions before 0.05 for Perl allow the second-factor attempt limit to be reset by replaying an earlier session cookie because the challenge route counts failures in the session. The POST handler on challenge_path keeps the failure count as tries inside the totp_pending record in the session, raising it on each rejected code and deleting the pending record once it reaches attempts, five by default. Punk::Session carries the session in a signed cookie unless the application declares a store, and keeps no server-side record, so an earlier value of the same session stays valid until the expiry stamped inside it. A client that saves the cookie before its failed attempts and presents it again gets the pending record back with its counter, and the limit never fires. The replayed record is accepted while its own expiry, pending_ttl seconds from the challenge and 300 by default, has not passed. Sessions declared with a store are not affected: the pending record and its counter then live server-side. The attempt limit does not bound guessing of the second factor, which is left to the per-address rate limit the plugin registers on the same path, 30 requests per 60 secon

  • Aug 25, 2026Punk::Plugin::TOTP versions before 0.05 for Perl accept another account's recovery code at the two-factor challenge because totp_use_recovery compares user idenCVE-2026-78619 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.8

    Punk::Plugin::TOTP versions before 0.05 for Perl accept another account's recovery code at the two-factor challenge because totp_use_recovery compares user identifiers numerically. The helper searches the recovery model for the submitted code's digest alone, across every user's rows, so the ownership test that follows is the only thing binding a code to the account it was issued to. That test compares the row's user_id with the challenged user's id through Perl's integer coercion, and an identifier with no leading digits coerces to zero, so any two of them compare equal. User models keyed on a username, an email address or a UUID hit that case, and a numeric key compares as intended. The challenge route feeds a submitted value to the helper once TOTP verification fails, so an attacker who knows a victim's password and holds a recovery code of their own passes the victim's second factor.

  • Aug 23, 2026DBD::Pg version 3.21.0 for Perl has a heap out-of-bounds write in quote_float.CVE-2026-78183 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.8

    DBD::Pg version 3.21.0 for Perl has a heap out-of-bounds write in quote_float. quote_float() allocates the length of the string + 1, which is the size of the bare numeric symbol plus NULL. But for special literals NaN, Inf, +Inf, -Inf, Infinity, +Infinity, -Infinity it emits the literal surrounded by quotes plus NULL, which is length + 3 bytes. Every recognised literal (case-insensitive) overflows by 2 bytes, a single quote and a NULL. This can be reached by the $dbh->quote method, for example $dbh->quote( "Infinity", DBI::SQL_NUMERIC ). This regression was introduced in 3.21.0 by the quote.c rewrite.

  • Aug 23, 2026Apache::AppSamurai::Util versions through 1.01 for Perl generate predictable session authentication keys from the clock and process id in CreateSessionAuthKey.CVE-2026-19565 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eLow 3.7

    Apache::AppSamurai::Util versions through 1.01 for Perl generate predictable session authentication keys from the clock and process id in CreateSessionAuthKey. CreateSessionAuthKey runs five rounds of SHA-256, each over a fresh Time::HiRes reading formatted to six decimal places, the running digest, and the process id. CreateSession calls it with an empty key source on every login, and the optional Keysource directive is the only route to the other branch. The result is 64 hex characters. The microsecond field of the first reading takes one of a million values, the later readings follow it within microseconds, and the process id is drawn from a small range. The key is returned to the browser as the session cookie, and is combined with the configured server key to compute the session id and to encrypt the stored session data. An attacker who knows the second in which a session was created and the process id of the worker that created it can enumerate candidate keys and recover the victim's cookie, bypassing authentication for the protected resources. Each candidate has to be tried against the server, which validates the cookie with a key the attacker does not hold.

  • Aug 23, 2026Reverse::Proxy versions before 0.04 for Perl allow HTTP request smuggling via a percent-decoded PATH_INFO written unencoded to the upstream request line.CVE-2026-75922 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eMedium 5.3

    Reverse::Proxy versions before 0.04 for Perl allow HTTP request smuggling via a percent-decoded PATH_INFO written unencoded to the upstream request line. PSGI hands PATH_INFO to an application percent-decoded, so a %XX sequence in the client URL has become a raw byte by the time the proxy sees it. The proxy appends that byte string to the upstream base URL, and for an Upgrade tunnel writes it into a request line it serializes itself, re-encoding nothing in either path. The HTTP client that sends the resulting URL does not validate the target either. A path containing %0d%0a therefore arrives at the upstream as a CRLF that ends the request line, and a decoded space, '?' or '#' truncates it the same way. Everything the client writes after the CRLF is read by the upstream as a second request. On the buffered path it arrives on a keep-alive connection the proxy pools and reuses for other clients. Its method, path and headers are all chosen by the client, and the upstream attributes it to the proxy, so it reaches upstream paths that the proxy's own routing does not expose.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: atm: cxacru: properly kill rcv_urb on error in cxacru_cm() If cxacru_cm() encounters an error while submitting or waiting for snd_urb, it aborts and returns the error without killing the already submitted rcv_urb. • Aug 22, 2026Punk versions before 0.18 for Perl allow session cookie forgery via an empty default HMAC key when a session is declared without a secret.CVE-2026-75870 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.1

    Punk versions before 0.18 for Perl allow session cookie forgery via an empty default HMAC key when a session is declared without a secret. The session keyword freezes its options onto the application as given: it does not require a secret, warn, or refuse to start when one is absent. The cookie read and the write-back both default that key to the empty string, so a declaration with no secret option, or with an undefined or empty one, signs and verifies with a zero-length HMAC-SHA256 key. An attacker who knows the cookie format can then mint one offline carrying any contents the session holds, such as a user identifier or a role. Nothing marks the misconfiguration at runtime: cookies are well formed and sessions round-trip as expected.

  • Aug 22, 2026Punk::OAuth2::Server versions through 0.03 for Perl issue access tokens outside a client's registered scopes and grant types because no authorization path readsCVE-2026-75866 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.1

    Punk::OAuth2::Server versions through 0.03 for Perl issue access tokens outside a client's registered scopes and grant types because no authorization path reads them. Punk::OAuth2::Server::Store registers scopes and grant_types per client and documents both as client registration. token dispatches on the grant_type in the request body, so a client registered for authorization_code alone can ask for client_credentials, and that arm passes the requested scope straight to the minter, which signs it into the at+jwt access token. authorize copies the query scope into the authorization code record without comparing it against the registration, leaving the optional consent hook as the only check between an arbitrary scope and the issued code. redirect_uris on the same client row is read and enforced. A registered client can obtain a correctly signed token carrying any scope it names, and a resource server running Punk::OAuth2::Checker accepts that token and honours the scope. A client registered without a secret authenticates on its client_id alone, so anyone who knows that identifier can request one.

    Tie::Hash::Regex versions before 2.0.0 for Perl will throw an exception on unparseable lookup keys. The FETCH, EXISTS and DELETE methods throw an exception when on malformed regular expressions. Each method falls back to a regex match when the key is not already stored in the hash, compiling the caller's key with a bare qr// and no eval guard. A key that is not a valid regular expression pattern, such as a single unmatched bracket, dies. An application that looks up externally supplied strings in a tied hash will die on an invalid key.

  • Aug 19, 2026Punk::OAuth2 versions before 0.03 for Perl allow an attacker-chosen off-site redirect after login because same_origin_path accepts a backslash or tab in the retCVE-2026-75628 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eMedium 5.7

    Punk::OAuth2 versions before 0.03 for Perl allow an attacker-chosen off-site redirect after login because same_origin_path accepts a backslash or tab in the return parameter. oauth2_login reads the return parameter from the initiation request, runs same_origin_path over it, and stores the survivor in the session flow record as the post-login redirect target. That check rejects a value that does not begin with a slash, one with a slash as its second byte, and one containing CR or LF. A backslash and a tab pass. The URL Standard treats a backslash as equivalent to a slash for special schemes, so `/\evil.example` parses with the authority `evil.example`. It also strips ASCII tab before parsing, so a tab between two leading slashes leaves `//evil.example`. A crafted link to the application's own login route lands the victim on the attacker's site after a genuine authentication. The redirect carries no authorization code or access token.

  • Aug 19, 2026Net::OAuth versions before 0.33 for Perl check HMAC-SHA1, HMAC-SHA256 and PLAINTEXT signatures with a non-constant-time comparison in verify.CVE-2026-75589 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eHigh 7.5

    Net::OAuth versions before 0.33 for Perl check HMAC-SHA1, HMAC-SHA256 and PLAINTEXT signatures with a non-constant-time comparison in verify. Each of the three compares the signature carried in the message against the locally computed one with the eq operator, which returns as soon as the two strings differ. The time taken to reject a signature varies with the length of the matching prefix. RSA-SHA1 is not affected, as it verifies through the RSA key object rather than by comparing strings. A client that can submit messages and time the replies may recover a valid signature one byte at a time rather than searching the whole signature space. Under PLAINTEXT the value compared against is the signature key itself, so the search recovers consumer_secret and token_secret.

  • Aug 19, 2026Net::OAuth versions before 0.33 for Perl allow the sender to choose the signature algorithm in verify.CVE-2026-72889 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.8

    Net::OAuth versions before 0.33 for Perl allow the sender to choose the signature algorithm in verify. verify resolves the signature method class from the signature_method parameter of the incoming message. signature_method is required on every request, so the algorithm used to check a signature is chosen by whoever sent it, and nothing lets the verifying party pin the method instead. When a message names HMAC-SHA1 or HMAC-SHA256, the key is derived from consumer_secret and token_secret rather than from the key the provider deployed. A provider deployed on RSA-SHA1 holds only the consumer public key, and RFC 5849 does not use consumer_secret for that method, so the required parameter is filled with a placeholder. A client that names HMAC-SHA1 instead has its signature checked against that placeholder, so a guessable one is enough to forge requests for any consumer key and token.
