Sep 3, 2026Exterro FTK Imager before 8.3 contains an XML external entity (XXE) injection vulnerability that allows attackers to read arbitrary files from the host filesystCVE-2026-82525 · Other software · Exterro · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.8
Exterro FTK Imager before 8.3 contains an XML external entity (XXE) injection vulnerability that allows attackers to read arbitrary files from the host filesystem by embedding malicious external entity references and attacker-controlled XSLT stylesheets within a Report.xml file inside a UFDR ZIP evidence item. Attackers can craft a malicious UFDR archive that, when previewed by an examiner, causes the XML parser to resolve file:// external entity references and execute msxsl:script within the external stylesheet to exfiltrate the resolved file contents to an attacker-controlled endpoint via a generated image URL.

Sep 3, 2026fast-uri accepts a host that contains an unbalanced or misplaced authority bracket without reporting an error.CVE-2026-84394 · Other software · fast-uri · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbHigh 7.5
fast-uri accepts a host that contains an unbalanced or misplaced authority bracket without reporting an error. A host that starts with an opening bracket but does not end with a closing bracket is neither validated as an IP literal nor canonicalized as a domain name, so parse() returns it as the host with error undefined, while Node's URL and the HTTP clients built on it resolve the same string to a different host. An application that reads the parsed host to make a host decision, such as an SSRF denylist, a redirect allowlist, or proxy routing, and then passes the original URL to an HTTP client evaluates its policy against a string that is not the host the request reaches. The same host is carried through normalize, equal, and resolve. This affects fast-uri versions 2.4.5, 3.1.6, and 4.1.3, and is fixed in 2.4.6, 3.1.7, and 4.1.4, where parse() reports a malformed host for any host that contains a bracket but is not a valid IPv6 literal.

Aug 31, 2026Wallos is an open-source, self-hostable personal subscription tracker.CVE-2026-77353 · Other software · ellite · reported by GitHubMedium 4.6
Wallos is an open-source, self-hostable personal subscription tracker. Prior to version 5.0.0, Wallos allows authenticated users to inject arbitrary iCalendar properties and events into their exported .ics feed by embedding raw CRLF sequences in subscription names or notes. Because the input validation layer only encodes HTML metacharacters but never strips newlines, and the export layer decodes those entities back before writing iCal output, an attacker with any valid account can craft a subscription whose name breaks out of the current VEVENT block and inserts fully attacker-controlled calendar events — including spoofed organizers, arbitrary email addresses in ATTENDEE properties, and misleading event content — into any calendar application subscribed to that feed. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.0.

Aug 31, 2026Wallos is an open-source, self-hostable personal subscription tracker.CVE-2026-77352 · Other software · ellite · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3
Wallos is an open-source, self-hostable personal subscription tracker. From version 2.0.0 to before version 5.0.0, any authenticated Wallos user (no admin rights required) can make the server open arbitrary outbound SMTP connections to internal/link-local addresses, by setting the SMTP host of their personal email notifications to an internal IP. The per-user notification settings endpoint (endpoints/notifications/saveemailnotifications.php) performs no SSRF validation, and the notification cron (endpoints/cronjobs/sendnotifications.php) feeds that user-controlled host straight into PHPMailer ($mail->Host = $email['smtpAddress']). When the user's subscription notification fires, the server connects to the chosen host:port. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.0.

Aug 31, 2026Wallos is an open-source, self-hostable personal subscription tracker.CVE-2026-77351 · Other software · ellite · reported by GitHubLow 3.5
Wallos is an open-source, self-hostable personal subscription tracker. Prior to version 5.0.0, Wallos lets any authenticated user store an arbitrary SMTP host — including private and cloud-metadata IP addresses — in their personal email notification settings, with no server-side SSRF validation. When the scheduled notification cron job runs, it passes the stored host directly to PHPMailer, causing the Wallos server to open an outbound TCP connection to whatever address the attacker specified. This gives a low-privileged attacker a reliable mechanism to probe internal network services from the server's perspective. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.0.

Aug 31, 2026Wallos is an open-source, self-hostable personal subscription tracker.CVE-2026-77348 · Other software · ellite · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
Wallos is an open-source, self-hostable personal subscription tracker. Prior to version 5.0.0, the fix for CVE-2026-33407 (GHSA-hhjq-82f8-m6rc, "SSRF via HTTP Proxy Environment Variable") hardened endpoints/logos/search.php by disabling cURL proxying (CURLOPT_PROXY = '' + CURLOPT_NOPROXY = '*'). However, Wallos ships a second, near-identical, unauthenticated logo-image search endpoint — endpoints/payments/search.php — that was not given the same hardening. It still passes the HTTP_PROXY/HTTPS_PROXY environment variable straight into CURLOPT_PROXY. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.0.

Aug 31, 2026Wallos is an open-source, self-hostable personal subscription tracker.CVE-2026-61641 · Other software · ellite · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
Wallos is an open-source, self-hostable personal subscription tracker. From version 4.0.0 to before version 4.9.6, Wallos's OIDC login links an incoming OIDC identity to an existing local account by matching the email claim alone, without verifying that the IdP marked that email as verified (email_verified). When Wallos is configured against an IdP that lets a user present an arbitrary or unverified email (multi-tenant IdPs, IdPs with open self-registration, or any IdP the attacker partly controls), an attacker with no Wallos account can authenticate with the admin's email and be logged in as the admin — full account takeover, no password needed. Aug 31, 2026Wallos is an open-source, self-hostable personal subscription tracker.CVE-2026-50198 · Other software · ellite · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3
Wallos is an open-source, self-hostable personal subscription tracker. Prior to version 4.9.1, an authenticated user can edit their own inactive subscription and set replacement_subscription_id to a subscription ID belonging to another user. The write is accepted, and later the stats logic dereferences that foreign subscription ID without user_id scoping. This lets the attacker infer the victim subscription's monthly-normalized cost by observing changes in their own stats output. This does not expose the full victim subscription object, but it does expose derived financial metadata. This issue has been patched in version 4.9.1.

Aug 31, 2026URI versions before 5.36 for Perl encode non-NFC host names to non-standard punycode labels via missing normalization in nameprep.CVE-2026-19953 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eMedium 6.5
URI versions before 5.36 for Perl encode non-NFC host names to non-standard punycode labels via missing normalization in nameprep. nameprep lowercases each host label but performs no Unicode normalization. IDNA requires a label to be normalized to Form C before it is encoded (RFC 5891), so a label that is not already in NFC is encoded to a different A-label than its normalized form. A label built from the precomposed Devanagari sequence U+0958 U+093E encodes to xn--72b5c without normalization but to xn--11b2fg after NFC normalization, and xn--72b5c does not round-trip back to the original label. Any caller that reads host() from a URI built from untrusted input and uses it for a security decision (an allow or deny list, an SSRF filter, deduplication, a cache key) sees the non-standard label, while a client that fetches the same URL resolves the NFC form, so the check and the fetch can disagree about the host.

Aug 28, 2026Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform.CVE-2026-55067 · Other software · go-vikunja · reported by GitHubMedium 5
Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform. Prior to 2.4.0, POST /api/v1/projects/{project}/views/{view}/buckets/{bucket} allows the request body project_view_id value to be mass assigned by Bucket.Update in pkg/models/kanban.go. The permission check validates that the bucket currently belongs to the URL project and view but does not validate the body selected destination view, allowing any authenticated user to relocate an attacker-owned bucket into another tenant’s Kanban view. The injected bucket retains attacker-controlled content and ownership, enabling cross-tenant defacement. This issue is fixed in version 2.4.0.

Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform. Prior to 2.4.0, POST /api/v1/projects/{project}/views/{view}/buckets/{bucket}/tasks accepts a body supplied task_id but TaskBucket.CanUpdate in pkg/models/kanban_task_bucket.go authorizes only the project, view, and bucket from the URL. updateTaskBucket then calls Task.ReadOne without a separate task permission check, returns the victim task contents, and can update the task done state when the attacker chooses a done bucket. Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform. From 2.3.0 until 2.4.0, a user with Write but not Admin permission on a shared child project can detach it from its parent hierarchy by submitting parent_project_id equal to 0 to POST /api/v1/projects/{project}. The Project.CanUpdate authorization check in pkg/models/project_permissions.go and UpdateProject logic in pkg/models/project.go only gate nonzero parent values, while UpdateProject always persists parent_project_id, so the explicit zero value bypasses the Admin requirement introduced for CVE-2026-35595. Detachment severs the recursive permission-inheritance chain and can disrupt the owner’s hierarchy and inherited collaborator access. This issue is fixed in version 2.4.0.

Aug 28, 2026Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform.CVE-2026-54766 · Other software · go-vikunja · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform. From 0.21.0 until 2.4.0, the project duplication operation in pkg/models/project_duplicate.go allows an authenticated user who can read a source project to place its duplicate beneath an arbitrary target parent project. ProjectDuplicate.CanCreate calls parent.CanCreate on an unhydrated Project containing only the body supplied parent_project_id instead of calling parent.CanWrite, so the target parent write-permission check is skipped. The ordinary project creation path enforces that permission, but PUT /api/v1/projects/{project}/duplicate does not, allowing attacker-owned content to be injected into another user or team project hierarchy. This issue is fixed in version 2.4.0.

Aug 28, 2026A host listed as a trusted proxy can send forwarding information containing a NUL byte, which crashes the login process on the following login attempt.CVE-2026-42395 · Other software · Open-Xchange GmbH · reported by security@open-xchange.comMedium 4.3
A host listed as a trusted proxy can send forwarding information containing a NUL byte, which crashes the login process on the following login attempt. The login process is terminated, which can cause degradation or denial of service for logins. Deployments that do not configure trusted proxies are not affected. Restrict the list of trusted proxy networks to hosts that are fully under your control. Update to non-vulnerable version. No publicly available exploits are known.

Aug 28, 2026Forwarding information received from a host listed as a trusted proxy is not kept separate from Dovecot's own authentication fields, so a value sent by that hosCVE-2026-42008 · Other software · Open-Xchange GmbH · reported by security@open-xchange.comMedium 4.3
Forwarding information received from a host listed as a trusted proxy is not kept separate from Dovecot's own authentication fields, so a value sent by that host can be injected as an internal authentication field. Any host permitted to act as a trusted proxy can authenticate as any user without knowing that user's password. This affects deployments whose password database honours a field that permits authentication without a password. Deployments that do not configure trusted proxies are not affected. Restrict the list of trusted proxy networks to hosts that are fully under your control. Update to non-vulnerable version. No publicly available exploits are known.

Aug 27, 2026startServer.ts in the mcp-http-server package of UI-TARS-desktop defaulted its listen address to '::' when no host was given, so startSseAndStreamableHttpMcpSerCVE-2026-81735 · Other software · bytedance · reported by VulnCheckCritical 10
startServer.ts in the mcp-http-server package of UI-TARS-desktop defaulted its listen address to '::' when no host was given, so startSseAndStreamableHttpMcpServer bound the Streamable HTTP and SSE MCP transports to every interface, and its authentication middleware was optional: middlewares are applied only when a caller supplies them. The @agent-infra/mcp-server-commands and @agent-infra/mcp-server-filesystem entry points call startSseAndStreamableHttpMcpServer with a host and port alone and pass no middleware, so neither server required a credential. The commands server exposes a run_command tool that hands its caller-supplied command string to promisify(child_process.exec), so any unauthenticated client able to reach the port could run arbitrary commands as the user running the server, and the filesystem server exposed its file read and write tools on the same terms. The listen default became 127.0.0.1 in commit c2ad42e3eb9b27830db41a3e6f51ca7179d9b168; the package version stayed at 1.2.4 across that change, so the boundary is the commit rather than a release.

Aug 27, 2026The Dash MCP server bound its listener to the loopback address but never checked the host a request named.CVE-2026-81102 · Other software · dropbox · reported by VulnCheckLow 2.3
The Dash MCP server bound its listener to the loopback address but never checked the host a request named. src/mcp_server_dash.py constructed the server for its network mode with the interface restricted to loopback and no transport-security settings, so a name that had been pointed at the loopback address still reached the listener while carrying the attacker's host name. A page in a visitor's browser could therefore drive the local server and invoke its company-search and file-detail tools under the Dropbox credential the server holds. Only the network mode was reachable this way; the standard input mode was not. The fix supplies transport-security settings that enable host checking and allow only the loopback name and port, rejecting other hosts before a tool runs. The repository publishes no versions, so the affected boundary is the commit preceding the fix.

Aug 27, 2026tiger-gh-mcp-server started its MCP HTTP transport without enabling the host allow-list the underlying SDK provides.CVE-2026-81100 · Other software · timescale · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.6
tiger-gh-mcp-server started its MCP HTTP transport without enabling the host allow-list the underlying SDK provides. src/httpServer.ts called the shared httpServerFactory helper and never set the DNS-rebinding-protection option, so the transport accepted a request whatever host it named, making the locally reachable GitHub MCP endpoint drivable from a page in a visitor's browser that pointed a name it controlled at the bound address. The fix passes the option explicitly alongside a dependency update; the update alone would not have closed it. The repository has published no release that brackets the fix, so the affected boundary is the commit preceding it.

Aug 27, 2026mcp-go accepted requests on its HTTP transports without checking the Host header.CVE-2026-81092 · Other software · mark3labs · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.6
mcp-go accepted requests on its HTTP transports without checking the Host header. StreamableHTTPServer.ServeHTTP in server/streamable_http.go and SSEServer.ServeHTTP in server/sse.go served any request arriving over a loopback connection regardless of the host it named, and the SSE transport's cross-origin default allowed any origin. A page in a browser could therefore point a name it controlled at the loopback address and reach a server listening there, invoking tools and reading resources that the server exposed on the assumption that only local software could connect. No release before 0.56.0 validated the header on either transport; 0.56.0 adds server/http_localhost.go, which rejects a loopback-bound request carrying a host that is not a loopback name, and wires it into both transports.
