  • Sep 1, 2026The Master Addons for Elementor – Elementor Addons, Widgets, Mega Menu Builder, Popup Builder, Widget Builder & Template Kits plugin for WordPress is vulnerableCVE-2026-75921 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Master Addons for Elementor – Elementor Addons, Widgets, Mega Menu Builder, Popup Builder, Widget Builder & Template Kits plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.9 via the upload_template_kit function. This is due to incorrect authorization on the upload_template_kit() AJAX handler, which requires only upload_files capability instead of the manage_options required by all sibling handlers, combined with missing per-entry file type filtering after ZIP extraction. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with editor-level access and above, to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. Editors can satisfy the nonce requirement because the required nonces are localized on the standard Pages list screen, which is accessible to any user with the edit_pages capability.

  • Aug 31, 2026HTML::FormFu versions through 2.08 for Perl allow resource exhaustion via an unbounded repeat count from the query string in Repeatable elements.CVE-2026-19873 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eHigh 7.5

HTML::FormFu versions through 2.08 for Perl allow resource exhaustion via an unbounded repeat count from the query string in Repeatable elements. When a Repeatable element has counter_name set, its process method reads the repeat count from the named query string parameter, checks only that it is a positive integer, and passes it to repeat, which deep-clones the element's child subtree once per iteration. Nothing caps the value, and no attribute lets an application impose a limit. The count is read on every request, before the form decides whether it was submitted, so a plain GET reaches the clone loop with no credentials, no session and no request body. Nesting multiplies: a Repeatable inside a Repeatable takes a counter at each level, so an outer and an inner value of 100 build 10,000 clones. Once the form is submitted, each cloned field's constraints scan the whole element tree in _find_field_value, so cost grows faster than linearly with the count. A single request exhausts memory and CPU. The latest release on CPAN is 2.07, from 2018. Version 2.08 exists only in the git repository.

  • Aug 30, 2026Exposure of Data Element to Wrong Session vulnerability in ash-project ash_graphql can deliver one subscription's resolved records to a different subscriber's tCVE-2026-82367 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.3

Exposure of Data Element to Wrong Session vulnerability in ash-project ash_graphql can deliver one subscription's resolved records to a different subscriber's topic. AshGraphql.Subscription.Batcher.do_send/5 reads the resolved batch from the process dictionary via Process.get(:batch_resolved) and then unconditionally deletes it. That is sound only inside a task the library owns. On the :backpressure_sync and :noproc fallbacks do_send/5 runs inline in the publishing caller's process, so if a resolver inside an outer do_send/5 triggers another synchronous Ash notification, the inner call finds the outer run's value still under :batch_resolved, adopts it as its own result, and publishes it to the inner topic, a different subscription document with a different actor and tenant. It then deletes the key, so the outer run publishes nothing. The key is not namespaced by run, so records cannot be told apart. The fix saves, clears, and restores :batch_resolved around each run. This issue affects ash_graphql: from 1.4.0 before 1.11.0.

  • Aug 30, 2026SiYuan Windows installer before version 3.8.1 (affected versions >= 2.0.14) contains an uncontrolled search path element vulnerability in its NSIS installer, whCVE-2026-82649 · Other software · siyuan-note · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7

SiYuan Windows installer before version 3.8.1 (affected versions >= 2.0.14) contains an uncontrolled search path element vulnerability in its NSIS installer, which invokes system executables such as TASKKILL by name rather than by absolute path. Because NSIS nsExec::Exec resolves these calls using a search path that includes the installer's own launch directory ahead of System32, an attacker who plants a malicious executable (e.g., a renamed TASKKILL.exe) in that directory can have it executed when the installer runs. These calls occur in electron-builder's preInit hook before the license page is displayed, and with an all-users (elevated) install the planted binary executes with an elevated token, resulting in local privilege escalation.

  • Aug 30, 2026Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Data Query Logic vulnerability in ash-project ash_sql allows a user who supplies a search term to contains/2, strCVE-2026-78691 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.1

Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Data Query Logic vulnerability in ash-project ash_sql allows a user who supplies a search term to contains/2, string_starts_with/2, or string_ends_with/2 to inject live SQL LIKE wildcards, turning a literal substring search into an attacker-controlled pattern match. The escape helpers in AshSql.Expr prefix % and _ with a backslash but never escape a backslash already present in the input. Because backslash is the default LIKE escape character, the escaping defeats itself: the input \% becomes the pattern fragment \\%, where \\ is a literal backslash and the attacker's % remains a live wildcard. The search value stays parameterized, so this is confined to the LIKE pattern grammar rather than full SQL. An attacker can widen matches to probe values, slip past a negated contains(...) guard, or crash the query with a trailing lone backslash. This issue affects ash_sql: from 0.1.1-rc.10 before 0.7.1.

  • Aug 29, 2026Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Data Query Logic vulnerability in ash-project ash_sqlite allows an attacker who controls a get_path/2 segment to CVE-2026-77846 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.1

Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Data Query Logic vulnerability in ash-project ash_sqlite allows an attacker who controls a get_path/2 segment to traverse into nested JSON the application never exposed, disclosing private or sensitive? embedded fields. AshSqlite.SqlImplementation builds the SQLite json_extract path with "$." <> Enum.join(right, "."), so a single segment containing ., [, ], or $ re-interprets the JSON path (for example "private.secret" descends two levels instead of naming one key). The path is bound as a parameter, so this is confined to the JSON-path grammar rather than SQL. Any endpoint that lets user input reach a get_path segment (a common pick-a-field pattern) can read nested values it never meant to expose. This issue affects ash_sqlite: from 0.1.2-rc.0 before 0.2.18.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (asus_atk0110) Check package count before accessing element atk_ec_present() walks the management group package returned by the GGRP ACPI method and, for each sub-package, reads its first element: id = &obj->package.elements[0]; if (id->type != ACPI_TYPE_INTEGER) without checking that the sub-package is non-empty. ACPICA allocates the element array with exactly package.count entries, so for a sub-package with a zero count this reads past the allocation. The sibling function atk_debugfs_ggrp_open() performs the same access but skips empty packages with a package.count check first. Add the same check to atk_ec_present() so a malformed firmware package cannot trigger an out-of-bounds read.

  • Aug 28, 2026ElementsKit Pro: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-4246 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.1

The ElementsKit Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 's' parameter of the Advanced Search REST endpoint in all versions up to, and including, 4.10.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The REST endpoint at /wp-json/elementskit/v1/advanced-search uses permission_callback set to __return_true, allowing unauthenticated access. Search terms are stored in the ekit_advanced_search_popular_keyword WordPress option via update_option(). While sanitize_text_field() is applied, it does not encode double quotes, and the stored keywords are rendered in HTML attributes via sprintf without esc_attr(), allowing attribute injection. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user triggers the "no results" popular keywords view on pages using the Advanced Search widget.

A MongoDB C# driver document-replacement code path omits the element-name/shape validation that the equivalent write paths apply, so a value supplied as a replacement is forwarded to the server without neutralization of query-language special elements. An application that passes untrusted, loosely-typed input as a replacement value therefore allows that input to be interpreted by the database as update logic rather than as data, executing under the application's own database credentials. Applications using strongly-typed document mappings are not affected.

  • Aug 26, 2026In FreeBSD 15.0, the kernel structure used to represent user credentials changed: previously the primary group ID was stored in the first element of the array cCVE-2026-58092 · Other software · FreeBSD · reported by secteam@freebsd.orgHigh 8.1

In FreeBSD 15.0, the kernel structure used to represent user credentials changed: previously the primary group ID was stored in the first element of the array containing the list of supplementary group IDs, whereas now the primary group ID is stored in a dedicated field. This change was largely internal to the kernel and not user-visible. One function, group_is_primary(), was not properly updated as a part of this transition. This function is used by mac_do to determine the primary group ID of the credential after applying a transition rule, used when the rule target does not explicitly specify a group. As a result, with certain mac_do rules, it is possible for a credential switch to incorrectly set the primary group ID to the ID stored in the first element of the original credential's supplementary group array. If the list of supplementary groups is empty, this value will be 0, corresponding to the "wheel" group. For example, a rule such as "uid=1001>uid=1002" can be abused to set the primary group ID to 0 even if the process did not originally belong to group 0. Certain mac_do rules can be abused to set a process' group ID to 0. Note however, that the rule must apply to

  • Aug 25, 2026ShopEngine Elementor WooCommerce Builder Addon – All in One WooCommerce Solution: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-75971 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The ShopEngine Elementor WooCommerce Builder Addon – All in One WooCommerce Solution plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.4. This is due to the `rum_importer()` function being registered on the WordPress core `import_start` action hook with no plugin-owned capability check and no allowlist filtering, causing arbitrary `<wp_option>` name/value pairs parsed from an attacker-supplied WXR import file to be passed directly to `update_option()`. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Shop Manager-level access and above, to write arbitrary WordPress options — most critically setting `users_can_register` to `1` and `default_role` to `administrator` — enabling open self-registration of Administrator accounts and full site takeover. This is exploitable by Shop Manager-level users because WooCommerce grants that role the `import` capability, allowing it to reach the WordPress Importer flow that fires the `import_start` hook on which `rum_importer()` is registered, contrary to the assumption that the hook is restricted to Administrators.

  • Aug 25, 2026MetForm – Contact Form, Survey, Quiz, & Custom Form Builder for Elementor: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-18100 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The MetForm – Contact Form, Survey, Quiz, & Custom Form Builder for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'mf_form_id' Widget Setting in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The payload bypasses Elementor's save-time wp_kses_post filter because it contains no HTML tags, and MetForm's own str_replace transformation of script tags into JavaScript template literal expressions provides an additional delivery path.

  • Aug 24, 2026Improper Input Validation, Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Output Used by a Downstream Component ('Injection') vulnerability in Apache Camel KnatCVE-2026-63621 · Email & office · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 5.3

Improper Input Validation, Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Output Used by a Downstream Component ('Injection') vulnerability in Apache Camel Knative component The Knative consumer in camel-knative maps inbound CloudEvent attributes onto Camel message headers. In binary content mode the HTTP-header path filters Camel-internal headers through KnativeHttpHeaderFilterStrategy, but in structured content mode (Content-Type application/cloudevents+json) the CloudEvent extension fields are read directly from the JSON body and every extension key is copied into the Exchange headers without applying any HeaderFilterStrategy (CloudEventProcessors, spec versions 1.0, 1.0.1 and 1.0.2). As a result, an unauthenticated attacker can inject Camel-internal headers (e.g. CamelHttpUri, CamelHttpPath, CamelFileName) via a structured-mode CloudEvent request, matched case-insensitively against Camel's header map. When a route forwards messages from a Knative consumer to a header-driven component such as camel-http or camel-file, the injected headers override configured values, enabling server-side request forgery (SSRF), path traversal or message-dispatch redirection depending on the rout

Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command in the package manager component of Black Duck blackduck-c-cpp before 3.0.7 allows an actor able to create a file within the scanned build directory to execute operating system commands as the account running the scan. Filesystem paths encountered while traversing the scanned directory are interpolated into command strings that are executed through a shell without quoting or escaping, so shell metacharacters within those paths are interpreted rather than treated as literal text.
