Jul 21, 2026An access control bypass and information disclosure vulnerability exists in the base AppArmor security profile configuration of Canonical snapd.CVE-2024-5300 · Other software · Canonical · reported by security@ubuntu.comMedium 5.6
An access control bypass and information disclosure vulnerability exists in the base AppArmor security profile configuration of Canonical snapd. The abstraction rules located in /etc/apparmor.d/abstractions/nss-systemd (inherited via ) inadvertently permit strictly confined snap applications, which lack the privileged account-control interface, to interact directly with the io.systemd.Multiplexer and io.systemd.NameServiceSwitch UNIX domain sockets under /run/systemd/userdb/. On systems where the systemd-userdbd service is installed and operational, the service fails to distinguish between an unconfined root user on the host system and a restricted root user running within a snap application's sandbox (such as a daemon or configuration hook). Because systemd-userdbd returns "complete" user records—including sensitive hashed user passwords from /etc/shadow—when queried by a process running as root, a compromised or malicious strictly confined snap executing code as root can successfully query the Varlink interface to retrieve all system password hashes, bypassing intended snap sandbox restrictions. This issue is mitigated by the fact that systemd-userdbd is not installed by default

Jul 21, 2026A flaw was found in Red Hat Quay's repository-level mirror configuration feature.CVE-2026-15927 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.8
A flaw was found in Red Hat Quay's repository-level mirror configuration feature. The POST and PUT handlers in endpoints/api/mirror.py accept an external_reference parameter without SSRF validation, unlike the organization-level mirror handlers which apply validate_external_registry_url(). A repository administrator can supply a crafted hostname that causes the Quay mirror worker to make requests via Skopeo to internal network services, cloud metadata endpoints, or other resources not intended to be reachable from the Quay application.

Jul 21, 2026A vulnerability was found in kronosnet's (version <=1.34) cryptographic configuration management.CVE-2026-15811 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 5.8
A vulnerability was found in kronosnet's (version <=1.34) cryptographic configuration management. The framework does not correctly zero-out or wipe sensitive memory segments after executing changes to its cryptographic configuration. This omission leaves raw encryption keys resident in memory after the associated structures are freed. A local attacker capable of leveraging memory disclosure techniques could exploit this flaw to retrieve the active encryption key, allowing them to decrypt cluster network communications or inject malicious packets to cause severe high-availability cluster instability.

Jul 20, 2026The Piwigo installer in versions 16.3.0 and earlier accepts POST parameters for database configuration and writes them directly into a PHP configuration file wiCVE-2026-35048 · Other software · Piwigo · reported by GitHubCritical 9.8
The Piwigo installer in versions 16.3.0 and earlier accepts POST parameters for database configuration and writes them directly into a PHP configuration file without proper sanitization. On PHP 8+, the `addslashes()` protection is bypassed because it checks for `get_magic_quotes_gpc()`, a function removed in PHP 8.0. This allows raw user input to be interpolated directly into PHP source code. An unauthenticated attacker can inject arbitrary PHP code through POST parameters (prefix, dbpasswd, dbhost, dbname, or dbuser), which gets written to `local/config/database.inc.php` and executed on every page load.

Jul 20, 2026A flaw was found in the Konnectivity proxy-server configuration for hosted control planes.CVE-2026-16242 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatCritical 9.4
A flaw was found in the Konnectivity proxy-server configuration for hosted control planes. The agent-facing listener was started without --cluster-ca-cert (and without token-based agent authentication), so client certificates were not validated. Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: l2cap: clear chan->ident on ECRED reconfiguration success l2cap_ecred_reconf_rsCVE-2026-63976 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: l2cap: clear chan->ident on ECRED reconfiguration success l2cap_ecred_reconf_rsp() returns early on success without clearing chan->ident. Every other L2CAP response handler (l2cap_ecred_conn_rsp, l2cap_le_connect_rsp, l2cap_config_rsp) clears chan->ident after a successful transaction to prevent the channel from matching subsequent responses with the recycled ident value. A remote attacker that completed a reconfiguration as the peer can replay a failure response with the stale ident, causing the kernel to match and destroy the already-established channel via l2cap_chan_del(chan, ECONNRESET). Clear chan->ident for all matching channels on success, and harden the failure path by using l2cap_chan_hold_unless_zero() consistent with other L2CAP handlers (l2cap_le_command_rej, __l2cap_get_chan_by_ident).

Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: atmel_mxt_ts - fix boundary check in mxt_prepare_cfg_mem When a configuration file CVE-2026-63908 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: atmel_mxt_ts - fix boundary check in mxt_prepare_cfg_mem When a configuration file provides an object size that is larger than the driver's known mxt_obj_size(object), the driver intends to discard the extra bytes. The loop iterates using for (i = 0; i < size; i++). Inside the loop, the condition to skip processing extra bytes is: if (i > mxt_obj_size(object)) continue; Since i is a 0-based index, the valid indices for the object are 0 through mxt_obj_size(object) - 1. When i == mxt_obj_size(object), the condition evaluates to false, and the code processes the byte instead of discarding it. This causes the code to calculate byte_offset = reg + i - cfg->start_ofs and writes the byte there, overwriting exactly one byte of the adjacent instance or object. Update the boundary check to skip extra bytes correctly by using >=.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf/x86/intel: Improve validation and configuration of ACR masks Currently there are several issues on the user space ACR mask validation and configuration. - The validation for user space ACR mask (attr.config2) is incomplete, e.g., the ACR mask could include the index which belongs to another ACR events group, but it's not validated. - An early return on an invalid ACR mask caused all subsequent ACR groups to be skipped. - The stale hardware ACR mask (hw.config1) is not cleared before setting new hardware ACR mask. The following changes address all of the above issues. - Figure out the event index group of an ACR group. Any bits in the user-space mask not present in the index group are now dropped. - Instead of an early return on invalid bits, drop only the invalid portions and continue iterating through all ACR events to ensure full configuration. - Explicitly clear the stale hardware ACR mask for each event prior to writing the new configuration. Besides, a non-leader event member of ACR group could be disabled in theory. This could cause bit-shifting errors in the acr_mask of remaining gro

setup-php is a GitHub action to set up PHP with extensions, php.ini configuration, coverage drivers, and tools. From 2.25.0 prior to 2.37.1, shivammathur/setup-php resolves the PHP version from repository-controlled files such as .php-version, composer.lock through platform-overrides.php, and composer.json through config.platform.php, and insufficiently constrains those values before incorporating them into generated shell or PowerShell setup scripts, allowing command injection on a GitHub Actions runner when workflows such as pull_request_target check out attacker-controlled contents before invoking setup-php. Jul 15, 2026PlaywrightCapture stored capture-specific configuration and runtime data as mutable class-level variables rather than instance-level variables.CVE-2026-63175 · Other software · Lookyloo · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 7.1
PlaywrightCapture stored capture-specific configuration and runtime data as mutable class-level variables rather than instance-level variables. Consequently, multiple Capture objects running within the same Python process could share state, including HTTP headers, cookies, browser storage, HTTP credentials, proxy configuration, user-agent settings, geolocation information, and captured request data. In a multi-user or concurrent deployment, information supplied during one capture could therefore persist and be reused by a subsequent or parallel capture. This could result in the disclosure of authentication cookies, credentials, browser storage, or captured request data belonging to another user. It could also cause requests to be performed with another capture's authentication context, headers, or proxy configuration, potentially enabling unauthorized access to remote resources or interference with other capture operations. The vulnerability is resolved by initializing all capture-specific settings and request data as instance variables in the Capture constructor, ensuring that state is isolated between capture operations.

Apollo is a reliable configuration management system suitable for microservice configuration management scenarios. Prior to 2.5.2, Apollo ConfigService may allow unauthorized access to raw configuration data when AccessKey or management key authentication is enabled because requests under /configfiles/raw/{appId}/{clusterName}/{namespace} are parsed for authentication as appId raw instead of the actual path appId, causing ConfigService to look up AccessKey secrets for raw before verifying the request signature and potentially continue without signature verification for the target appId. Jul 14, 2026A code execution security issue exists within Studio 5000 Logix Designer® due to an unquoted search path in the External Tools configuration.CVE-2026-9128 · Other software · Rockwell Automation · reported by PSIRT@rockwellautomation.comHigh 7.3
A code execution security issue exists within Studio 5000 Logix Designer® due to an unquoted search path in the External Tools configuration. The executable paths specified in the external tools configuration file are not properly quoted, and because these paths contain spaces, the operating system may resolve them to unintended executables placed earlier in the search order. If exploited, an attacker could plant a malicious executable in a location within the search path, resulting in arbitrary code execution with the same permissions of the user running the application.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
