  • Sep 22, 2026MISP contains an authorization flaw in the Organisation model's captureOrg method.CVE-2026-95697 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.3

MISP contains an authorization flaw in the Organisation model's captureOrg method. When the $force parameter is set to true, the method unconditionally overwrites organization metadata fields without verifying that the invoking user holds sufficient privileges. A user with a sharing group (SG) editor role can trigger this code path, allowing them to modify organization metadata that should be restricted to site administrators or users with sync permissions. According to the commit message, this could lead to blueprint-based sharing group manipulation, meaning an attacker with SG editor access could alter organizational attributes in ways that influence how sharing groups and blueprints behave across the MISP instance.  The vulnerability requires an authenticated user with at least SG editor privileges and network access to the MISP web interface. The impact is primarily on the integrity of organization records and, potentially, on the integrity of sharing group configurations derived from those records.

  • Sep 22, 2026In MISP, the CollectionsController add() method enforced the sharing-group usability authorization check and element capture only when the HTTP request method wCVE-2026-95671 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.3

In MISP, the CollectionsController add() method enforced the sharing-group usability authorization check and element capture only when the HTTP request method was POST. However, the underlying CRUDComponent::add() method persists data on both POST and PUT requests. As a result, an authenticated user could issue a PUT request to the collections/add endpoint, bypassing the sharing-group authorization check entirely. This allowed the creation of a collection with distribution=4 (shared with a specific sharing group) targeting a sharing group that the user was not authorized to use. The bypassed check would normally verify that the current user has access to the specified sharing group before allowing the collection to be associated with it. The security impact is that an authenticated user can place collection data into a sharing group context they do not have legitimate access to, potentially exposing that data to all members of the unauthorized sharing group and violating the intended access-control boundaries of the MISP instance. The vulnerability requires an authenticated session and knowledge of a valid sharing group identifier; no user interaction or special tooling is needed

  • Sep 22, 2026Authentication Bypass by Capture-replay in ZenHive mpp allows an attacker holding a captured subscription activation credential to charge the payer repeatedly.CVE-2026-87119 · Other software · ZenHive · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.2

Authentication Bypass by Capture-replay in ZenHive mpp allows an attacker holding a captured subscription activation credential to charge the payer repeatedly. The payer signs a Tempo KeyAuthorization over the chain id, key type, key id, expiry, limits and scopes only, with nothing tying it to the challenge that prompted it. MPP.Methods.Tempo.KeyAuthorization.verify/3 in lib/mpp/methods/tempo/key_authorization.ex pins each of those signed fields against the subscription request, and the access key it pins is a static per-endpoint server key, so one signed authorization verifies against every challenge the server issues for the same subscription terms. MPP.Methods.Tempo.Subscription.activate/4 deduplicates activations by challenge id, so presenting the captured credential under a fresh challenge produces a different dedup key, claim_activation succeeds, and the subscription transaction is built and broadcast again. Each replay charges the payer's wallet a new first-period settlement and re-authorizes the server key, bounded only by the subscription expiry and the chain's own semantics for re-installing an existing key. This issue affects mpp: from 0.14.0 before 0.16.2.

  • Sep 21, 2026KubeEdge is an open source system for extending native containerized application orchestration capabilities to hosts at Edge.CVE-2026-62369 · Other software · kubeedge · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

KubeEdge is an open source system for extending native containerized application orchestration capabilities to hosts at Edge. From 1.16.0 until 1.21.2, 1.22.2, and 1.23.1, the DecompressTarGz function in keadm/cmd/keadm/app/cmd/util/common.go joins archive entry names to the extraction destination without sufficient validation. During keadm join or installation on Windows edge nodes, an archive influenced through a compromised, replaced, or untrusted download source can contain parent-directory components, Windows-style backslashes, absolute paths, or drive-prefixed paths that escape the intended directory. The affected keadm process can consequently write or overwrite files with its own privileges, potentially modifying configuration, executable, or service files and enabling persistent system modification or code execution. This issue is fixed in versions 1.21.2, 1.22.2, and 1.23.1.

KubeEdge is an open source system for extending native containerized application orchestration capabilities to hosts at Edge. From 1.21.0 until 1.21.2, 1.22.2, and 1.23.1, ConfigUpdateJob processing in edge/pkg/taskmanager/actions/configupdatejob.go concatenates authenticated user-controlled updateFields values into the keadm config-update command and executes it through a system shell. A user with permission to create or modify ConfigUpdateJob resources can include shell metacharacters in the complete --set value and cause arbitrary commands to execute on an enrolled target edge node with the privileges of the KubeEdge process handling the job. KubeEdge is an open source system for extending native containerized application orchestration capabilities to hosts at Edge. From 1.0.0 until 1.21.2, 1.22.2, and 1.23.1, Reader.Read in pkg/viaduct/pkg/packer trusts the 32-bit PackageHeader.PayloadLen received through the CloudHub viaduct message-processing path and allocates that amount of memory before validating an upper bound. An authenticated malicious or compromised edge peer can repeatedly send crafted headers with excessive declared lengths, causing memory exhaustion, CloudHub process termination or restart loops, and temporary disruption of cloud-edge communication. An unauthenticated Remote Code Execution vulnerability was found in the survey passthrough routing and Data Import processing logic, in which a malicious user could potentially exploit it by manipulating HTTP requests to access an unintended controller route from a public survey context and by supplying a crafted file-path/stream parameter during import handling. If successfully exploited, this could allow the attacker to remotely execute arbitrary code on the REDCap server. The attacker does not have to be authenticated in order to exploit this, but exploitation requires knowledge of a valid public survey hash. This vulnerability exists in REDCap 13.3.0 and higher.

  • Sep 18, 2026Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-61795 · Other software · projectcapsule · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8

Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes. From 0.13.0 until 0.13.7, hostnameRegexHandler.OnUpdate in internal/webhook/tenant/validation/hostname_regex.go reverses the new and old Tenant parameters and validates the previous AllowedHostnames.Regex instead of the submitted value. A cluster administrator can therefore store a malformed AllowedHostnames.Regex after the webhook accepts the update based on stale valid state. Subsequent Ingress creation or update reaches validate_hostnames.go, which evaluates the malformed pattern, ignores the regular-expression error, and treats every hostname as unmatched, blocking Ingress operations for the affected tenant until an administrator repairs the Tenant configuration. This issue is fixed in version 0.13.7.

  • Sep 18, 2026Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-61794 · Other software · projectcapsule · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8

Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes. From 0.13.0 until 0.13.7, the Tenant update validation in internal/webhook/tenant/validation/forbidden_annotations_regex.go compiles ForbiddenLabels.Regex for both the labels and annotations checks instead of validating ForbiddenAnnotations.Regex. An administrator who can update a Tenant can therefore persist a malformed ForbiddenAnnotations.Regex while leaving the labels expression valid. Namespace creation or update later passes the stored expression through pkg/api/forbidden_list.go, where regexp.MustCompile can panic during forbidden metadata validation and deny namespace operations for the affected tenant. This issue is fixed in version 0.13.7.

  • Sep 18, 2026Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-61672 · Other software · projectcapsule · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1

Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes. Prior to 0.13.7, ForbiddenListSpec.ExactMatch in pkg/api/forbidden_list.go sorts denied metadata keys case-insensitively and then uses sort.SearchStrings, which assumes byte-order sorting. When an administrator's forbidden list mixes capitalized and lowercase keys or otherwise has different case-insensitive and byte ordering, the binary search can return false for a key that is present. An authenticated tenant owner can then pass the missed key through api.ValidateForbidden and bypass configured namespace, Service, or delegated node metadata restrictions, potentially influencing cluster policies, network exposure, or scheduling outside the tenant boundary. Uniformly lowercase lists whose two orderings coincide are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.13.7.

  • Sep 18, 2026vm2 (npm) versions 3.12.0 and earlier contain a sandbox escape in `VM` and `NodeVM`.CVE-2026-93606 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckCritical 10

vm2 (npm) versions 3.12.0 and earlier contain a sandbox escape in `VM` and `NodeVM`. When an embedder exposes a host API that returns a host-realm Promise, the bridge's rejection sanitizer (hostPromiseSanitizeReject / makeSanitizedPromiseCallback / normalizeHostPromiseCallbacks in lib/bridge.js) only wraps `then`/`catch` rejection slots that hold a function, and the sandbox-side `Symbol.species`/`.then` neutralization is installed only on the sandbox intrinsic `Promise.prototype`, so it never applies to a host Promise. Code running inside the sandbox can overwrite `p.constructor[Symbol.species]` on the host Promise and then call `p.then()` with no `onRejected` handler; V8 substitutes its internal Thrower, which re-throws the raw host rejection value into a resolve/reject closure captured by the attacker. This delivers an unsanitized, fully functional bridge proxy of the host object to sandboxed code, bypassing handleException and hostPromiseSanitizeReject. If the rejection value is host-pivotable (for example a host `process` object), this results in arbitrary code execution on the host. Fixed in 3.12.1.
