  • Jul 8, 2026SQL injection vulnerabilities in the Snowflake Snowpark Python SDK (snowpark-python) versions prior to 1.53.0 could allow authenticated low-privilege users to eCVE-2026-15062 · Other software · Snowflake · reported by 412d305a-227d-44f9-a262-a31ba44f2aeaCritical 9.6

    SQL injection vulnerabilities in the Snowflake Snowpark Python SDK (snowpark-python) versions prior to 1.53.0 could allow authenticated low-privilege users to execute SQL beyond their authorization scope. An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by embedding SQL payloads in source database column names to escalate privileges via the DataFrameReader.dbapi() API by supplying a specially crafted location parameter to DataFrameWriter write methods to redirect a COPY INTO to an arbitrary source query, or by including a backslash-single-quote sequence in an export path to defeat the normalize_path() sanitizer and inject SQL via DataFrame.to_csv(). Successful exploitation may result in source database compromise, unauthorized cross-tenant data exfiltration, or unauthorized read of Snowflake account data.

  • Jul 8, 2026Grav before 2.0.0 (affected through 2.0.0-rc.9 and the 2.0 branch) contains a stored CSS injection vulnerability in the Markdown image resize() media action.CVE-2026-58657 · Other software · Grav · reported by VulnCheckMedium 4.8

    Grav before 2.0.0 (affected through 2.0.0-rc.9 and the 2.0 branch) contains a stored CSS injection vulnerability in the Markdown image resize() media action. Prior media hardening rejects direct ?style= payloads and unsafe attribute() fallbacks, but the resize() action in Excerpts::processMediaActions() writes caller-controlled values directly into the image's styleAttributes. A lower-privileged content editor who can edit page Markdown can store a crafted image URL with semicolon-delimited CSS declarations in the resize parameters, which are rendered into the final <img style=...> attribute when a higher-privileged reviewer/admin views the page or preview. This does not require JavaScript execution but enables UI redress/overlay and content-manipulation attacks (e.g., a full-viewport fixed overlay). Fixed in 2.0.0.

  • Jul 6, 2026The OpenAI Codex desktop app for macOS rendered remote images from Markdown in model responses.CVE-2026-14898 · Other software · OpenAI · reported by 8f4f43ab-ba69-4d92-aa1d-d772184d6fb7Medium 6.5

    The OpenAI Codex desktop app for macOS rendered remote images from Markdown in model responses. An attacker who could place an indirect prompt injection in content processed by Codex, such as a connected-tool result or another untrusted source, could induce the model to construct a remote image URL containing sensitive data. The app automatically fetched that URL when rendering the response, sending the embedded data to an attacker-controlled server without a separate user click. Successful exploitation could exfiltrate secrets and other information accessible in the Codex session, including API keys, source code, and data returned by connected tools. No direct integrity or availability impact was demonstrated, and there is no known exploitation in the wild.

  • Jul 6, 2026Imager::File::JPEG versions before 1.003 for Perl leak heap memory when reading a JPEG with repeated APP13 markers in i_readjpeg_wiol.CVE-2026-13708 · Other software · TONYC · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eHigh 7.5

    Imager::File::JPEG versions before 1.003 for Perl leak heap memory when reading a JPEG with repeated APP13 markers in i_readjpeg_wiol. i_readjpeg_wiol walks the marker list libjpeg returns and, for each APP13 marker, allocates a new buffer with *iptc_itext = mymalloc(...) and overwrites the previous pointer without freeing it. Only the final payload is later turned into a Perl scalar and freed, so a JPEG with N such markers leaks the first N-1 payloads on every read. In a long-lived process, such as an upload or thumbnailing service, repeated reads accumulate these leaks and exhaust available memory, a denial of service. The same handler ships bundled in the Imager distribution, where versions before 1.032 are affected and the fix ships in 1.032.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: Don't WARN if memory is dirtied without a vCPU when the VM is dying When marking a page dirty, complain about not having a running/loaded vCPU if and only if the VM is still alive, i.e. its refcount is non-zero. This will allow fixing a memory leak for x86 SEV-ES guests without hitting what is effectively a false positive on the WARN. For some SEV-ES VM-Exits, KVM keeps a writable mapping of a guest page across an exit to userspace, and typically unmaps the page on the next KVM_RUN. But if userspace never calls KVM_RUN after such an exit, then KVM needs to unmap the page when the vCPU is destroyed, which in turn triggers the WARN about not having a running vCPU. Alternatively, SEV-ES could temporarily load the vCPU to suppress the WARN, as is done in nested_vmx_free_vcpu() (but for completely unrelated reasons; suppressing WARN from nested_put_vmcs12_pages() is pure happenstance). But loading a vCPU during destruction is gross (ideally nVMX code would be cleaned up), risks complicating the SEV-ES code (KVM would need to ensure the temporarily load()+put() only runs when the vCPU isn't already loaded), a

  • Jul 1, 2026CGI::Session::ID::md5 versions before 4.49 for Perl generate predictable session ids from low-entropy sources.CVE-2026-56016 · Other software · MARKSTOS · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eMedium 5.9

    CGI::Session::ID::md5 versions before 4.49 for Perl generate predictable session ids from low-entropy sources. The generate_id method builds the session id from a MD5 digest of the process id, the epoch time, and the built-in rand() function. All three are predictable, low-entropy sources: the PID is drawn from a small range, the epoch time can be guessed or read from the HTTP Date header, and Perl's rand() is unsuitable for security purposes because it is predictable and reversible. An attacker who predicts a session id can impersonate the corresponding session and bypass authentication.

  • Jun 29, 2026Uncontrolled Recursion vulnerability in leandrocp mdex allows denial of service via deeply nested Markdown input.CVE-2026-54888 · Other software · leandrocp · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.9

    Uncontrolled Recursion vulnerability in leandrocp mdex allows denial of service via deeply nested Markdown input. mdex converts between an Elixir %MDEx.Document{} struct and Comrak's internal AST using two mutually recursive Rust functions, ex_document_to_comrak_ast and comrak_ast_to_ex_document, in the NIF source file document.rs. Neither function enforces a maximum nesting depth, so the recursion depth is bounded only by the structure of the input. An attacker who can get a Markdown document rendered (for example through MDEx.parse_document!/1 or MDEx.to_html/1) can supply a document with thousands of nested block quotes, which drives unbounded recursion across the NIF boundary and exhausts the native C stack. Because the resulting stack overflow is an uncatchable SIGSEGV raised inside a NIF, it cannot be contained by the Erlang runtime. It terminates the operating system process running the BEAM, killing every Elixir and Erlang process on the node, not just the caller that triggered the render. No authentication or special privileges are required. The vulnerable conversion code was extracted from mdex into the separate mdex_native package starting in mdex 0.12.3. This issue a

  • Jun 29, 2026Improper neutralization in the Snowpark annotation processor callback template in Snowflake CLI versions prior to 3.19 allowed arbitrary code execution during aCVE-2026-13749 · Other software · Snowflake · reported by 412d305a-227d-44f9-a262-a31ba44f2aeaHigh 8.8

    Improper neutralization in the Snowpark annotation processor callback template in Snowflake CLI versions prior to 3.19 allowed arbitrary code execution during application bundling or deployment. An attacker could exploit this by supplying crafted project content that is interpolated into generated Python code, causing Snowflake CLI to execute attacker-controlled code in the local context of the user running the CLI. Successful exploitation requires the victim to run the relevant bundling or deployment workflow against attacker-controlled project content, and any resulting code runs with the privileges of that local execution context. The fix is available in Snowflake CLI version 3.19, and users must manually upgrade.

    7-Zip for Windows through 26.01 fails to preserve the Mark-of-the-Web when extracting a crafted RAR5 archive, because its guard that suppresses an archive-supplied Zone.Identifier stream matches the exact name 'Zone.Identifier' while a RAR5 STM record named ':Zone.Identifier:$DATA' is not matched and NTFS canonicalizes it to the same stream, overwriting the propagated Internet-zone marker with ZoneId=0. A second STM record named '::$DATA' overwrites the extracted file's default data stream, letting an attacker defeat SmartScreen/MotW warnings and spoof file content.

    The Dokan: AI Powered WooCommerce Multivendor Marketplace Solution – Build Your Own Amazon, eBay, Etsy plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.4 via the 'id' parameter due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to read any other vendor's products — including unpublished draft and pending listings — exposing product names, prices, SKUs, and descriptions belonging to other vendors. The permission callbacks for both the collection endpoint and the single-item endpoint only verify the generic vendor capability ('dokan_view_product_menu' / 'dokandar'), which every vendor holds, rather than confirming the requested author ID or product ownership matches the authenticated user.
