  • May 1, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: reject immediate NF_QUEUE verdict nft_queue is always used from userCVE-2026-43024 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: reject immediate NF_QUEUE verdict nft_queue is always used from userspace nftables to deliver the NF_QUEUE verdict. Immediately emitting an NF_QUEUE verdict is never used by the userspace nft tools, so reject immediate NF_QUEUE verdicts. The arp family does not provide queue support, but such an immediate verdict is still reachable. Globally reject NF_QUEUE immediate verdicts to address this issue.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: macb: fix clk handling on PCI glue driver removal platform_device_unregister() may still want to use the registered clks during runtime resume callback. Note that there is a commit d82d5303c4c5 ("net: macb: fix use after free on rmmod") that addressed the similar problem of clk vs platform device unregistration but just moved the bug to another place. • May 1, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: lag: Check for LAG device before creating debugfs __mlx5_lag_dev_add_mdev() may CVE-2026-43013 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: lag: Check for LAG device before creating debugfs __mlx5_lag_dev_add_mdev() may return 0 (success) even when an error occurs that is handled gracefully. Consequently, the initialization flow proceeds to call mlx5_ldev_add_debugfs() even when there is no valid LAG context. mlx5_ldev_add_debugfs() blindly created the debugfs directory and attributes. This exposed interfaces (like the members file) that rely on a valid ldev pointer, leading to potential NULL pointer dereferences if accessed when ldev is NULL. Add a check to verify that mlx5_lag_dev(dev) returns a valid pointer before attempting to create the debugfs entries.

  • May 1, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/net: fix slab-out-of-bounds read in io_bundle_nbufs() sqe->len is __u32 but gets CVE-2026-31774 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/net: fix slab-out-of-bounds read in io_bundle_nbufs() sqe->len is __u32 but gets stored into sr->len which is int. When userspace passes sqe->len values exceeding INT_MAX (e.g. 0xFFFFFFFF), sr->len overflows to a negative value. This negative value propagates through the bundle recv/send path: 1. io_recv(): sel.val = sr->len (ssize_t gets -1) 2. io_recv_buf_select(): arg.max_len = sel->val (size_t gets 0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF) 3. io_ring_buffers_peek(): buf->len is not clamped because max_len is astronomically large 4. iov[].iov_len = 0xFFFFFFFF flows into io_bundle_nbufs() 5. io_bundle_nbufs(): min_t(int, 0xFFFFFFFF, ret) yields -1, causing ret to increase instead of decrease, creating an infinite loop that reads past the allocated iov[] array This results in a slab-out-of-bounds read in io_bundle_nbufs() from the kmalloc-64 slab, as nbufs increments past the allocated iovec entries. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ftgmac100: fix ring allocation unwind on open failure ftgmac100_alloc_rings() allocates rx_skbs, tx_skbs, rxdes, txdes, and rx_scratch in stages. On intermediate failures it returned -ENOMEM directly, leaking resources allocated earlier in the function. Rework the failure path to use staged local unwind labels and free allocated resources in reverse order before returning -ENOMEM. This matches common netdev allocation cleanup style.

  • May 1, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ethernet: mtk_ppe: avoid NULL deref when gmac0 is disabled If the gmac0 is disabled, CVE-2026-31736 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ethernet: mtk_ppe: avoid NULL deref when gmac0 is disabled If the gmac0 is disabled, the precheck for a valid ingress device will cause a NULL pointer deref and crash the system. This happens because eth->netdev[0] will be NULL but the code will directly try to access netdev_ops. Instead of just checking for the first net_device, it must be checked if any of the mtk_eth net_devices is matching the netdev_ops of the ingress device.

  • May 1, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/packet: fix TOCTOU race on mmap'd vnet_hdr in tpacket_snd() In tpacket_snd(), when PACCVE-2026-31700 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/packet: fix TOCTOU race on mmap'd vnet_hdr in tpacket_snd() In tpacket_snd(), when PACKET_VNET_HDR is enabled, vnet_hdr points directly into the mmap'd TX ring buffer shared with userspace. The kernel validates the header via __packet_snd_vnet_parse() but then re-reads all fields later in virtio_net_hdr_to_skb(). A concurrent userspace thread can modify the vnet_hdr fields between validation and use, bypassing all safety checks. The non-TPACKET path (packet_snd()) already correctly copies vnet_hdr to a stack-local variable. All other vnet_hdr consumers in the kernel (tun.c, tap.c, virtio_net.c) also use stack copies. The TPACKET TX path is the only caller of virtio_net_hdr_to_skb() that reads directly from user-controlled shared memory. Fix this by copying vnet_hdr from the mmap'd ring buffer to a stack-local variable before validation and use, consistent with the approach used in packet_snd() and all other callers.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: virt_wifi: remove SET_NETDEV_DEV to avoid use-after-free Currently we execute `SET_NETDEV_DEV(dev, &priv->lowerdev->dev)` for the virt_wifi net devices. However, unregistering a virt_wifi device in netdev_run_todo() can happen together with the device referenced by SET_NETDEV_DEV(). It can result in use-after-free during the ethtool operations performed on a virt_wifi device that is currently being unregistered. Such a net device can have the `dev.parent` field pointing to the freed memory, but ethnl_ops_begin() calls `pm_runtime_get_sync(dev->dev.parent)`. A vulnerability in the assisted-service REST API, an optional Assisted Installer (assisted-service) component in the Multicluster Engine (MCE), allows an authenticated user with minimal namespace-scoped privileges to obtain administrative credentials for arbitrary clusters provisioned through the hub. The credentials download endpoint (GET /v2/clusters/{cluster_id}/credentials, which returns the kubeadmin password) and the kubeconfig download endpoint are operational in AUTH_TYPE=local mode, the only authentication mode available in on-premises ACM/MCE hub deployments. The local authenticator unconditionally grants full administrative access to any request bearing a valid JWT, with no per-endpoint restrictions. A valid local JWT is embedded as a plaintext query parameter in InfraEnvStatus.ISODownloadURL and is readable by any user who has get rights on an InfraEnv object in their own namespace. The affected components ship as part of Multicluster Engine (MCE). The Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (ACM) deployments that include MCE are equally affected. This issue does not affect the hosted SaaS offering (console.redhat.com), which uses a different authentication mode. Succes

  • Apr 28, 2026Multiple BinSoft products are vulnerable to Remote Command Execution.CVE-2026-40552 · Other software · BinSoft · reported by cvd@cert.plMedium 4.7

    Multiple BinSoft products are vulnerable to Remote Command Execution. An authorized user with access to the application and direct access to the backend database can achieve system command execution by uploading an attachment and modifying its storage path in the database to reference an attacker-controlled remote network resource. Alternatively, it is possible to use a previously uploaded file and change its reference. When the application processes the attachment, and a user tries to open it, the referenced resource is executed by the system. Critically, this vulnerability can be exploited by any unauthenticated attacker by chaining it with CVE-2026-40550 and CVE-2026-40551, which allows obtaining database access, and logging onto any account. The described issue affects all published versions. The vendor stated that this issue is a direct result of the architecture model in which the software is distributed, and that it will be mitigated with a corrected installation manual.

    Multiple BinSoft products are vulnerable to Privilege Escalation due to excessive database privileges assigned to the user used by the application. An attacker with access to any running application instance connected to the backend server can extract database credentials from the application’s memory by inspecting the running process. While ability to retrieve credentials from memory is the expected behavior, the exposed credentials grant administrative access to the database, exceeding the privileges required for normal application functionality. This allows an attacker to perform actions beyond those permitted through the application interface. The described issue affects all published versions. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: ip6t_eui64: reject invalid MAC header for all packets `eui64_mt6()` derives a modified EUI-64 from the Ethernet source address and compares it with the low 64 bits of the IPv6 source address. The existing guard only rejects an invalid MAC header when `par->fragoff != 0`. For packets with `par->fragoff == 0`, `eui64_mt6()` can still reach `eth_hdr(skb)` even when the MAC header is not valid. Fix this by removing the `par->fragoff != 0` condition so that packets with an invalid MAC header are rejected before accessing `eth_hdr(skb)`.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: sched: act_csum: validate nested VLAN headers tcf_csum_act() walks nested VLAN headers directly from skb->data when an skb still carries in-payload VLAN tags. The current code reads vlan->h_vlan_encapsulated_proto and then pulls VLAN_HLEN bytes without first ensuring that the full VLAN header is present in the linear area. If only part of an inner VLAN header is linearized, accessing h_vlan_encapsulated_proto reads past the linear area, and the following skb_pull(VLAN_HLEN) may violate skb invariants. Fix this by requiring pskb_may_pull(skb, VLAN_HLEN) before accessing and pulling each nested VLAN header. If the header still is not fully available, drop the packet through the existing error path.
