  • Mar 23, 2026Active Support is a toolkit of support libraries and Ruby core extensions extracted from the Rails framework.CVE-2026-33170 · Other software · rails · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

Active Support is a toolkit of support libraries and Ruby core extensions extracted from the Rails framework. Prior to versions 8.1.2.1, 8.0.4.1, and 7.2.3.1, `SafeBuffer#%` does not propagate the `@html_unsafe` flag to the newly created buffer. If a `SafeBuffer` is mutated in place (e.g. via `gsub!`) and then formatted with `%` using untrusted arguments, the result incorrectly reports `html_safe? == true`, bypassing ERB auto-escaping and possibly leading to XSS. Versions 8.1.2.1, 8.0.4.1, and 7.2.3.1 contain a patch.

Active Support is a toolkit of support libraries and Ruby core extensions extracted from the Rails framework. `NumberToDelimitedConverter` uses a lookahead-based regular expression with `gsub!` to insert thousands delimiters. Prior to versions 8.1.2.1, 8.0.4.1, and 7.2.3.1, the interaction between the repeated lookahead group and `gsub!` can produce quadratic time complexity on long digit strings. Versions 8.1.2.1, 8.0.4.1, and 7.2.3.1 contain a patch.

NLTK (Natural Language Toolkit) is a suite of open source Python modules, data sets, and tutorials supporting research and development in Natural Language Processing. In versions 3.9.3 and prior, the NLTK downloader does not validate the `subdir` and `id` attributes when processing remote XML index files. Attackers can control a remote XML index server to provide malicious values containing path traversal sequences (such as `../`), which can lead to arbitrary directory creation, arbitrary file creation, and arbitrary file overwrite. NLTK (Natural Language Toolkit) is a suite of open source Python modules, data sets, and tutorials supporting research and development in Natural Language Processing. In versions 3.9.3 and prior, `nltk.app.wordnet_app` allows unauthenticated remote shutdown of the local WordNet Browser HTTP server when it is started in its default mode. A simple `GET /SHUTDOWN%20THE%20SERVER` request causes the process to terminate immediately via `os._exit(0)`, resulting in a denial of service. NLTK (Natural Language Toolkit) is a suite of open source Python modules, data sets, and tutorials supporting research and development in Natural Language Processing. In versions 3.9.3 and prior, `nltk.app.wordnet_app` contains a reflected cross-site scripting issue in the `lookup_...` route. A crafted `lookup_<payload>` URL can inject arbitrary HTML/JavaScript into the response page because attacker-controlled `word` data is reflected into HTML without escaping. This impacts users running the local WordNet Browser server and can lead to script execution in the browser origin of that application. Commit 1c3f799607eeb088cab2491dcf806ae83c29ad8f fixes the issue.

Cleanuparr is a tool for automating the cleanup of unwanted or blocked files in Sonarr, Radarr, and supported download clients like qBittorrent. From 2.7.0 to 2.8.0, the /api/auth/login endpoint contains a logic flaw that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to enumerate valid usernames by measuring the application's response time. It appears that the hashing function, which is the most time-consuming part of the process by design, occurs as part of the VerifyPassword function. With the short circuits occurring before the hashing function, a timing differential is introduced that exposes validity to the actor. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.8.1.

Gokapi is a self-hosted file sharing server with automatic expiration and encryption support. Prior to 2.2.4, the chunked upload completion path for file requests does not validate the total file size against the per-request MaxSize limit. An attacker with a public file request link can split an oversized file into chunks each under MaxSize and upload them sequentially, bypassing the size restriction entirely. • Mar 11, 2026Calling NSS-backed functions that support caching via nscd may call the nscd client side code and in the GNU C Library version 2.36 under high load on x86_64 CVE-2026-3904 · Other software · The GNU C Library · reported by 3ff69d7a-14f2-4f67-a097-88dee7810d18Medium 6.2

Calling NSS-backed functions that support caching via nscd may call the nscd client side code and in the GNU C Library version 2.36 under high load on x86_64 systems, the client may call memcmp on inputs that are concurrently modified by other processes or threads and crash. The nscd client in the GNU C Library uses the memcmp function with inputs that may be concurrently modified by another thread, potentially resulting in spurious cache misses, which in itself is not a security issue.  However in the GNU C Library version 2.36 an optimized implementation of memcmp was introduced for x86_64 which could crash when invoked with such undefined behaviour, turning this into a potential crash of the nscd client and the application that uses it. This implementation was backported to the 2.35 branch, making the nscd client in that branch vulnerable as well.  Subsequently, the fix for this issue was backported to all vulnerable branches in the GNU C Library repository. It is advised that distributions that may have cherry-picked the memcpy SSE2 optimization in their copy of the GNU C Library, also apply the fix to avoid the potential crash in the nscd client.

  • Mar 10, 2026Appium is an automation framework that provides WebDriver-based automation possibilities for a wide range platforms.CVE-2026-30973 · Other software · @appium · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Appium is an automation framework that provides WebDriver-based automation possibilities for a wide range platforms. Prior to 7.0.6, @appium/support contains a ZIP extraction implementation (extractAllTo() via ZipExtractor.extract()) with a path traversal (Zip Slip) check that is non-functional. The check at line 88 of packages/support/lib/zip.js creates an Error object but never throws it, allowing malicious ZIP entries with ../ path components to write files outside the intended destination directory. • Mar 10, 2026rssn is a scientific computing library for Rust, combining a high-performance symbolic computation engine with numerical methods support and physics simulationsCVE-2026-30960 · Other software · Apich-Organization · reported by GitHubCritical 9.4

rssn is a scientific computing library for Rust, combining a high-performance symbolic computation engine with numerical methods support and physics simulations functionalities. The vulnerability exists in the JIT (Just-In-Time) compilation engine, which is fully exposed via the CFFI (Foreign Function Interface). Due to Improper Input Validation and External Control of Code Generation, an attacker can supply malicious parameters or instruction sequences through the CFFI layer. Since the library often operates with elevated privileges or within high-performance computing contexts, this allows for Arbitrary Code Execution (ACE) at the privilege level of the host process.

mchange-commons-java, a library that provides Java utilities, includes code that mirrors early implementations of JNDI functionality, including support for remote `factoryClassLocation` values, by which code can be downloaded and invoked within a running application. If an attacker can provoke an application to read a maliciously crafted `jaxax.naming.Reference` or serialized object, they can provoke the download and execution of malicious code. Implementations of this functionality within the JDK were disabled by default behind a System property that defaults to `false`, `com.sun.jndi.ldap.object.trustURLCodebase`. However, since mchange-commons-java includes an independent implementation of JNDI derefencing, libraries (such as c3p0) that resolve references via that implementation could be provoked to download and execute malicious code even after the JDK was hardened. Mirroring the JDK patch, mchange-commons-java's JNDI functionality is gated by configuration parameters that default to restrictive values starting in version 0.4.0. No known workarounds are available. Versions prior to 0.4.0 should be avoided on application CLASSPATHs.

In versions 4.12.0 and 4.12.1, when using the AWS Lambda adapter (`hono/aws-lambda`) behind an Application Load Balancer (ALB), the `getConnInfo()` function incorrectly selected the first value from the `X-Forwarded-For` header. Because AWS ALB appends the real client IP address to the end of the `X-Forwarded-For` header, the first value can be attacker-controlled. This could allow IP-based access control mechanisms (such as the `ipRestriction` middleware) to be bypassed. Version 4.12.2 patches the issue.

The Print Service component of Fiserv Originate Loans Peripherals (formerly Velocity Services) in unsupported version 2021.2.4 (build 4.7.3155.0011) uses deprecated .NET Remoting TCP channels that allow unsafe deserialization of untrusted data. When these services are exposed to an untrusted network in a client-managed deployment, an unauthenticated attacker can achieve remote code execution. Version 2021.2.4 is no longer supported by Fiserv. Customers should upgrade to a currently supported release (2025.1 or later) and ensure that .NET Remoting service ports are not exposed beyond trusted network boundaries. This CVE documents behavior observed in a client-hosted deployment running an unsupported legacy version of Originate Loans Peripherals with .NET Remoting ports exposed to an untrusted network. This is not a default or supported configuration. Customers running legacy versions should upgrade to a currently supported release and ensure .NET Remoting ports are restricted to trusted network segments. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64/fpsimd: ptrace: Fix SVE writes on !SME systems When SVE is supported but SME is not supported, a ptrace write to the NT_ARM_SVE regset can place the tracee into an invalid state where (non-streaming) SVE register data is stored in FP_STATE_SVE format but TIF_SVE is clear. This can result in a later warning from fpsimd_restore_current_state(), e.g. WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 7214 at arch/arm64/kernel/fpsimd.c:383 fpsimd_restore_current_state+0x50c/0x748 When this happens, fpsimd_restore_current_state() will set TIF_SVE, placing the task into the correct state. This occurs before any other check of TIF_SVE can possibly occur, as other checks of TIF_SVE only happen while the FPSIMD/SVE/SME state is live. Thus, aside from the warning, there is no functional issue. This bug was introduced during rework to error handling in commit: 9f8bf718f2923 ("arm64/fpsimd: ptrace: Gracefully handle errors") ... where the setting of TIF_SVE was moved into a block which is only executed when system_supports_sme() is true. Fix this by removing the system_supports_sme() check. This ensures that TIF_SVE is set for (SVE-format

Intego Log Reporter, a macOS diagnostic utility bundled with Intego security products that collects system and application logs for support analysis, contains a local privilege escalation vulnerability. A root-executed diagnostic script creates and writes files in /tmp without enforcing secure directory handling, introducing a time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition. A local unprivileged user can exploit a symlink-based race condition to cause arbitrary file writes to privileged system locations, resulting in privilege escalation to root.

  • Feb 4, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64/fpsimd: signal: Fix restoration of SVE context When SME is supported, Restoring SVE CVE-2026-23102 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64/fpsimd: signal: Fix restoration of SVE context When SME is supported, Restoring SVE signal context can go wrong in a few ways, including placing the task into an invalid state where the kernel may read from out-of-bounds memory (and may potentially take a fatal fault) and/or may kill the task with a SIGKILL. (1) Restoring a context with SVE_SIG_FLAG_SM set can place the task into an invalid state where SVCR.SM is set (and sve_state is non-NULL) but TIF_SME is clear, consequently resuting in out-of-bounds memory reads and/or killing the task with SIGKILL. This can only occur in unusual (but legitimate) cases where the SVE signal context has either been modified by userspace or was saved in the context of another task (e.g. as with CRIU), as otherwise the presence of an SVE signal context with SVE_SIG_FLAG_SM implies that TIF_SME is already set. While in this state, task_fpsimd_load() will NOT configure SMCR_ELx (leaving some arbitrary value configured in hardware) before restoring SVCR and attempting to restore the streaming mode SVE registers from memory vi

  • Feb 4, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: uacce: fix isolate sysfs check condition uacce supports the device isolation feature.CVE-2026-23094 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: uacce: fix isolate sysfs check condition uacce supports the device isolation feature. If the driver implements the isolate_err_threshold_read and isolate_err_threshold_write callback functions, uacce will create sysfs files now. Users can read and configure the isolation policy through sysfs. Currently, sysfs files are created as long as either isolate_err_threshold_read or isolate_err_threshold_write callback functions are present. However, accessing a non-existent callback function may cause the system to crash. Therefore, intercept the creation of sysfs if neither read nor write exists; create sysfs if either is supported, but intercept unsupported operations at the call site.
