Oct 20, 2026Vitest is a Vite-native testing framework for JavaScript and TypeScript projects.CVE-2026-112950 · Other software · vitest-dev · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9
Vitest is a Vite-native testing framework for JavaScript and TypeScript projects. From 4.1.11 until 4.1.12 and 5.0.3, isFileLoadingAllowed and the filesystem read interpret backslashes differently on Windows in packages/mocker/src/node/interceptorPlugin.ts. When a client can reach the Vite dev server on Windows and register a redirect mock containing backslash traversal, POSIX joining preserves a Windows backslash traversal that the later filesystem read interprets as a path separator, so the client can read a file outside server.fs.allow that the Vitest process can access. This issue is fixed in versions 4.1.12 and 5.0.3.

Oct 20, 2026Vitest is a Vite-native testing framework for JavaScript and TypeScript projects.CVE-2026-112949 · Other software · vitest-dev · reported by GitHubMedium 4.7
Vitest is a Vite-native testing framework for JavaScript and TypeScript projects. From 2.1.0-beta.7 until 4.1.12 and 5.0.3, an unauthenticated non-browser WebSocket client that can reach a development server using interceptorPlugin can register a manual mock whose attacker-controlled url createManualModuleSource inserts unescaped into generated module source. When the developer browser loads the affected module, attacker-controlled JavaScript executes on the development-server origin. This issue is fixed in versions 4.1.12 and 5.0.3.

Oct 20, 2026Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript.CVE-2026-112947 · Other software · vitejs · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3
Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript. From 8.2.0 until 8.2.4 and 8.3.3, the first 4 bytes of files outside of server.fs setting can be returned to the browser by a request containing ?vite-wasm-instance. Requests containing the ?vite-wasm-instance query are handled by the internal Wasm plugin's load hook. The hook removes the query and reads the resulting path directly from disk, but the server.fs checks were not applied. After reading the file, Vite attempts to parse it as WebAssembly. When that parse fails, Node and deno throws an error that contains the first 4 bytes of the file. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.2.4 and 8.3.3.

Oct 20, 2026Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript.CVE-2026-112946 · Other software · vitejs · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3
Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript. Prior to 6.4.4, 7.3.7, 8.1.6, 8.2.4, and 8.3.3, import analysis can record a root-relative browser URL in safeModulePaths instead of the cleaned resolved module identifier. On a network-accessible, non-Windows development server, an imported project file whose URL matches an absolute host path can authorize a later raw-filesystem request for that host file, provided server.fs.deny does not block it. The request can disclose the matching file outside the project root, but it does not allow arbitrary path traversal because the host path must correspond to a project-relative URL authorized by the application graph. This issue is fixed in versions 6.4.4, 7.3.7, 8.1.6, 8.2.4, and 8.3.3.

Oct 20, 2026Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript.CVE-2026-112945 · Other software · vitejs · reported by GitHubLow 2.1
Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript. Prior to 6.4.4, 7.3.7, 8.1.6, 8.2.4, and 8.3.3, applications using custom middleware are vulnerable when they pass an unchanged browser request URL to server.transformIndexHtml. getHtmlFilename uses the query-bearing request URL to resolve an existing local file while preserving attacker-supplied leading slashes in the generated proxy module URL. If the transformed HTML contains an inline module script and a victim browser loads the crafted development-server page, the leading double slash makes the browser fetch and execute an attacker-controlled module in the Vite-served page. This execution can expose sensitive page data or permit critical actions available to the affected application. This issue is fixed in versions 6.4.4, 7.3.7, 8.1.6, 8.2.4, and 8.3.3.

Oct 20, 2026A HID report descriptor is a sequence of items, each declaring in its header how many data bytes follow.CVE-2026-96582 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgMedium 4.9
A HID report descriptor is a sequence of items, each declaring in its header how many data bytes follow. The USBX host walks that sequence by advancing over each header and parsing the data behind it. The walk checked that an item fitted in the descriptor only **after** it had advanced past the header and parsed the payload, and the item analysis it relied on never measured the declared sizes against the bytes actually received. A HID peripheral returning a short report descriptor therefore drove a heap out-of-bounds read during ordinary enumeration.

Oct 20, 2026A VideoStreaming interface reports the size of its whole class-specific descriptor block in the `wTotalLength` field of its input header.CVE-2026-96406 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgMedium 4.9
A VideoStreaming interface reports the size of its whole class-specific descriptor block in the `wTotalLength` field of its input header. The USBX host recorded that figure and used it as the budget for walking the format, frame and frame-interval descriptors, without holding it against the configuration descriptor actually received. A device that reports a `wTotalLength` larger than the descriptors it supplies therefore had its own claim believed. Once the real bytes ran out the walk kept going, dereferencing the cursor past the end of the configuration buffer, in the host's context, whenever the application queried format or frame data.

Oct 20, 2026Cross-site scripting in the embedded co-browsing feature in Unblu inc.CVE-2026-14933 · Other software · Unblu inc. · reported by vulnerability@ncsc.chHigh 8.6
Cross-site scripting in the embedded co-browsing feature in Unblu inc. Unblu Spark 7.0 through 7.57.7 and 8.0 through 8.39.2, on on-premises and cloud deployments, allows an unauthenticated remote attacker in the visitor role to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the browser of an agent taking part in the attacker's co-browsing session, via content of the co-browsed page that the agent's browser renders as HTML. The JavaScript runs in the context and under the identity of the agent's session in the Agent Desk or the Single Conversation Desk. Exploitation requires an agent to join an embedded co-browsing session with the attacker. Mobile co-apping isn't affected.

Enumeration of unauthenticated users in FacturaScripts, version 2025.61. The application returns different responses when attempting to log in with a valid username compared to an invalid one. An unauthenticated attacker could systematically identify valid usernames by examining variations in the application’s responses, such as changes in response time, discrepancies between error messages or differences in HTTP status codes. Oct 19, 2026Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime.CVE-2026-111757 · Other software · honojs · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime. From 4.12.4 until 4.13.11, serveStatic can interpret a malformed percent-encoded path differently from upstream routing middleware and bypass protection for a static prefix. The root cause is serveStatic decodes a routed request path a second time before filesystem lookup. The attack mechanism is malformed percent encoding survives the first routing interpretation and becomes a protected path only during the later static-file decode. The affected component is serveStatic. The trigger conditions are an application protects a static prefix with upstream middleware and serveStatic receives an attacker-controlled malformed percent-encoded path. The impact is unauthorized disclosure of a static file that upstream middleware was intended to protect. The issue does not permit traversal outside the configured static root. This issue is fixed in version 4.13.11.

Oct 19, 2026Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Apache Answer.CVE-2026-64944 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.org
Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Apache Answer. This issue affects Apache Answer: through 2.0.2. The importer stores imported question bodies as raw HTML without passing them through the normal Markdown-to-HTML sanitization path, so attacker-controlled HTML embedded in an imported data source is persisted and rendered to all viewers (including privileged users) as stored XSS. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.0.3, which fixes the issue.

MISP contains a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the workflow module interface. Parameter names returned by the misp-modules service are rendered as raw HTML form labels on the workflow module page without output encoding. An attacker who can influence the parameter names reported by the misp-modules service can inject arbitrary HTML or JavaScript that executes in the context of an authenticated MISP user's browser. Preconditions: - The attacker must be able to control or influence parameter names reported by the misp-modules service. - A victim must be authenticated and view the affected workflow module page. Impact: - Execution of arbitrary JavaScript in the victim's browser session. - Potential theft of session tokens, manipulation of the MISP interface, or initiation of unauthorized actions on behalf of the victim. Affected versions: <2.5.48.

Oct 18, 2026Seven Gitea API routes under `/api/v1/users/{username}` (followers, following, following/{target}, starred, subscriptions, keys and gpg_keys) were registered wiCVE-2026-97859 · Other software · Gitea · reported by 88ee5874-cf24-4952-aea0-31affedb7ff2Medium 6.5
Seven Gitea API routes under `/api/v1/users/{username}` (followers, following, following/{target}, starred, subscriptions, keys and gpg_keys) were registered without the `individualPermsChecker` middleware that enforces the visibility of the target user. An authenticated user could therefore read the followers, following list, starred and watched repositories and public SSH and GPG keys of a user with limited or private visibility, whom they could not otherwise see. The issue was fixed in 1.27.3 and 28.0.0 and disclosed with 28.2.0.

`GET /api/v1/user/subscriptions` returned the metadata of every repository a user was watching without checking that the user still had access to it. A user who watched a private repository while having access, and later lost it, for example through a team permission downgrade, could still read its name, description, clone URLs, owner and counters. Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: midi2: Fix the jack descriptor array sizes The jack in/out descriptor arrays CVE-2026-98770 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: midi2: Fix the jack descriptor array sizes The jack in/out descriptor arrays in struct f_midi2_usb_config have the size of MAX_CABLES, which look reasonable -- but it turned out to be incorrect. Namely, the entries for those arrays are added from both inputs and outputs, hence for each loop cycle, it adds two, ended up with as twice as the expected size. This inconsistency may result in potential OOB when a large number of jacks are set up via configfs, although the max number of cables (the loop count) is limited to MAX_CABLES. For addressing it, correct the jack_ins & jack_outs array sizes to twice, MAX_CABLES * 2.

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: spacemit: clear TX descriptor on fragment mapping failure emac_tx_mem_map() writes TXCVE-2026-98592 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: spacemit: clear TX descriptor on fragment mapping failure emac_tx_mem_map() writes TX_DESC_0_OWN into the ring descriptor for every slot beyond old_head as soon as that slot's memset()'d local copy is committed with "*tx_desc_addr = tx_desc", i.e. before the buffers for that slot have necessarily all been mapped successfully. If emac_tx_map_frag() then fails on a later fragment, the err_free_skb path calls emac_free_tx_buf() to unmap and drop the skb, but leaves the already-written descriptor memory untouched, and tx_ring->head is never advanced past old_head (the "tx_ring->head = head" store is skipped by the goto). So a slot between old_head and the rolled-back head can be left with TX_DESC_0_OWN set and buffer_addr_{1,2} pointing at DMA mappings that emac_free_tx_buf() just tore down, while software considers that slot free again. The next successful emac_tx_mem_map() call only rebuilds old_head itself; if the DMA engine auto-advances into the following descriptor once it finishes old_head's packet, it will fetch that stale, already-unmapped address. emac_tx_clean_desc() already treats emac_free_tx_buf(

Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ata: libata-scsi: bound the ATA passthru sense descriptor writes When an ATA PASS-THROUGH CVE-2026-98545 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ata: libata-scsi: bound the ATA passthru sense descriptor writes When an ATA PASS-THROUGH command to an ATAPI device fails, the sense buffer holds the device's REQUEST SENSE reply, and ata_scsi_set_passthru_sense_fields() trusts its additional length byte, sb[7], when adding the ATA Status Return descriptor. A faulty or malicious device can use that to make the kernel read and write past the 96-byte buffer in three ways: - scsi_sense_desc_find() is passed sb[7] + 8 as the buffer length, so its clamp against sb[7] does nothing and the walk runs off the end. - A type-9 descriptor found near the end is filled in unchecked. - A new descriptor at sb[8 + len] needs len + 22 bytes, not len + 14, so len 75..82 writes up to 8 bytes past the end. Reproduced with KASAN under qemu, with the emulated ATAPI REQUEST SENSE reply patched: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in scsi_sense_desc_find+0x1a5/0x210 BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in ata_scsi_qc_complete+0x1a15/0x1a50 Both are gone with this patch, and a valid descriptor is still filled in.
