  • Sep 30, 2026In the WSS4J streaming (StAX) code, a signature reference using the WS-Security STR-Transform leaves an internal "inside signed content" flag permanently set.CVE-2026-92121 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.5

In the WSS4J streaming (StAX) code, a signature reference using the WS-Security STR-Transform leaves an internal "inside signed content" flag permanently set. The WS-SecurityPolicy enforcer uses that flag to decide whether an element needs checking, so it stops evaluating SignedParts and SignedElements for the rest of the message. A policy requiring the SOAP Body to be signed is then satisfied even when the Body carries no signature, removing the protection against XML Signature Wrapping. Signature verification itself is unaffected. The DOM code is not affected.  Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.0.2 or 3.0.6 or 2.4.4 which fix this issue.

Apache WSS4J accepted attacker-controlled derived-key lengths and offsets without adequate bounds. This could permit cryptographically weak keys or excessive CPU and memory consumption when processing crafted WS-Security messages. The fixes enforce a minimum key length of 16 bytes, a maximum length of 512 bytes, and a maximum offset of 4096 bytes. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.0.2 or 3.0.6 or 2.4.4, which fix this issue.

In Baicells Nova 430H, an unauthenticated device within radio range can send a malformed uplink message during connection setup that contains an invalid NAS payload. Because the eNodeB does not properly validate this payload, it forwards the message to the core network, which can trigger a shutdown of the signaling association for the cell. This results in a temporary service disruption until the eNodeB and core network re-establish connectivity.

NetX Duo's WebSocket client resets the unmasking cursor to the first `NX_PACKET` each time it advances through a chained packet, while the loop's upper bound belongs to the current packet. With the standard contiguous packet-pool layout, a masked server frame split across two packets therefore drives the XOR loop through the first packet's unused payload area and on through the second packet's `NX_PACKET` control block. The four-byte WebSocket masking key controls the bytes written, so the corruption is attacker-chosen rather than incidental.

  • Sep 29, 2026Serialize JavaScript serializes JavaScript values to a superset of JSON that includes regular expressions and functions.CVE-2026-97711 · Other software · yahoo · reported by GitHubLow 2.3

Serialize JavaScript serializes JavaScript values to a superset of JSON that includes regular expressions and functions. From 7.1.1 until 7.1.2, function values serialized by serialize-javascript are not fully protected against script-closing tags in attacker-influenced function source because SCRIPT_CLOSE_REGEXP can consume a second closing tag inside one match. When the serialized function is embedded in a script element, the surviving closing tag terminates the element early and causes the remaining output to be parsed as HTML, enabling cross-site scripting in the page origin. Only function values are affected; ordinary data values and options.isJSON output are unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.2.

Issue summary: A TLS server that calls SSL_set_SSL_CTX() to switch a connection to a different SSL_CTX part way through a handshake may access memory beyond the end of an internal array if the replacement context knows about more provider signature algorithms than the context the connection was created from. Applications which never call SSL_set_SSL_CTX() are not affected. Impact summary: A remote peer may be able to cause a small out-of-bounds read, and in some circumstances a fixed-value out-of-bounds write, on the server heap. This may lead to a Denial of Service. CWE: CWE-787: Out-of-bounds Write Description: A TLS connection records how many certificate slots it has when it is created, taken from the SSL_CTX that created it: the built-in certificate types plus one slot for each provider TLS-SIGALG entry that context was aware of. That count sizes an internal array of per-slot certificate validity flags. An application may replace a connection's SSL_CTX part way through the handshake by calling SSL_set_SSL_CTX(), most commonly from a servername callback in order to serve a different virtual host. • Sep 29, 2026Apache Polaris allows an authenticated principal with permission to create or update Iceberg table properties to set FileIO client settings such as s3.endpoint CVE-2026-97395 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 8.1

Apache Polaris allows an authenticated principal with permission to create or update Iceberg table properties to set FileIO client settings such as s3.endpoint in table metadata. In versions < 1.8.0, when Polaris performs server-side Iceberg operations, including commits and purges, it may use those settings to construct its (server-side) FileIO client. If the catalog storage configuration does not override the endpoint, Polaris can send storage requests to a host chosen by the table writer, using credentials scoped to the operation. This can redirect server-side storage traffic and expose request authentication material to the chosen endpoint. Deployments are affected when table writers are not trusted to configure server-side storage endpoints.

pnpm versions 11.0.0 before 11.11.0 and 10.7.0 before 10.34.5 expand ${VAR} environment-variable placeholders in the httpProxy, httpsProxy, and noProxy settings read from a project's pnpm-workspace.yaml. Because the manifest is repository-controlled and the proxy keys were omitted from the request-destination key set that otherwise suppresses placeholder expansion for untrusted manifests (as already done for registry, pnprServer, registries and namedRegistries), an attacker who controls a repository's pnpm-workspace.yaml can cause a victim who clones the repository and runs a pnpm command (e.g. pnpm install) to expand environment secrets such as NPM_TOKEN or GITHUB_TOKEN into a proxy hostname or userinfo and route install traffic — and the corresponding DNS lookups — through an attacker-controlled host. • Sep 27, 2026The account recovery (password reset) functionality in the vulnerability-lookup web application contains a time-of-check-to-time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition CVE-2026-101041 · Other software · vulnerability-lookup · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 6.3

The account recovery (password reset) functionality in the vulnerability-lookup web application contains a time-of-check-to-time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition in the consumption of single-use recovery tokens. The original implementation verified the token nonce against the stored digest and then consumed (cleared) it in separate database operations. Two concurrent HTTP requests presenting the same valid recovery token could both pass the verification check before either transaction committed, allowing both to set their own password on the target account. The last transaction to commit overwrites the first, enabling an attacker who possesses a valid recovery token to replace the legitimate user's password with one of their choosing. A secondary defect in the same endpoint (confirm_account) allowed a valid recovery link to be used to set an empty or trivially short password (e.g., three characters). The view handler performed only a manual equality comparison between the two password fields and never invoked the form's validation logic, bypassing the intended minimum-length and complexity constraints. The affected component is the user account recovery endpoint (/user/confirm_acco

In MONAI 1.6.0, PersistentDataset (monai/data/dataset.py) explicitly rejects the combination track_meta=True with weights_only=True, forcing users who cache MetaTensors (the default tensor type in MONAI >= 1.0) to run torch.load(hashfile, weights_only=False). As a result, a local user with write access to a shared or world-writable cache_dir (e.g. /tmp/monai_cache, HPC scratch, ~/.cache/monai) can place a malicious pickle file that is deserialized the next time another user's MONAI pipeline reads the cache, resulting in arbitrary code execution in that user's context. • Sep 26, 2026vm2 before 3.12.2 does not apply its Buffer backing-store ownership invariant (byteOffset === 0 and buffer.byteLength === length) to Buffers returned from host CVE-2026-100723 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9

vm2 before 3.12.2 does not apply its Buffer backing-store ownership invariant (byteOffset === 0 and buffer.byteLength === length) to Buffers returned from host builtin modules. When an application explicitly exposes Node's zlib module through NodeVM's builtin allowlist (require: { builtin: ['zlib'] }), zlib.deflateSync can return a Buffer backed by Node's shared small-buffer pool whose .buffer is the entire pool. Untrusted guest code can construct a full-width view of that ArrayBuffer (Buffer.from(result.buffer, 0, result.buffer.byteLength)) to read and modify bytes belonging to unrelated host buffers, disclosing and corrupting host-realm memory across the sandbox boundary.

  • Sep 26, 2026Froxlor before 2.3.12 does not restrict or escape the system.letsencryptchallengepath setting: unlike sibling settings hardened in GHSA-33mp, the field has no sCVE-2026-100714 · Other software · froxlor · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.4

Froxlor before 2.3.12 does not restrict or escape the system.letsencryptchallengepath setting: unlike sibling settings hardened in GHSA-33mp, the field has no string_regexp or required_otp guard, and its value is concatenated unescaped into the acme.sh command line built in lib/Froxlor/Cron/Http/LetsEncrypt/AcmeSh.php and executed by the root cron via FileDir::safe_exec. Because safe_exec only blacklists shell metacharacters such as ; | & > < \ $ ~ ?, spaces and quotes survive and the value is word-split into additional acme.sh arguments. An administrator, or any actor able to write settings (for example through the settings-import API), can therefore inject acme.sh options such as --renew-hook, --pre-hook or --post-hook to obtain arbitrary command execution as root at the next Let's Encrypt cron run, or use --config-home/--cert-home for arbitrary file writes. Versions up to and including 2.3.10 are affected; the issue is fixed in 2.3.12.

  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') versions >= 2026.3.28 and < 2026.8.1 allow an untrusted workspace .env file to set the CLOUDSDK_PYTHON_ARGS environment variabCVE-2026-100570 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.5

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') versions >= 2026.3.28 and < 2026.8.1 allow an untrusted workspace .env file to set the CLOUDSDK_PYTHON_ARGS environment variable. When an operator starts OpenClaw in attacker-controlled workspace content and then runs the Gmail setup flow, that value is inherited when gcloud is launched, and the gcloud launcher passes it as arguments to the trusted Python interpreter. A crafted CLOUDSDK_PYTHON_ARGS value can therefore cause Python to execute attacker-supplied code with the OpenClaw host user's permissions, allowing credentials to be read, files to be modified, or other processes to be started. This issue is fixed in version 2026.8.1; as a workaround, run Gmail setup only from trusted workspaces and clear inherited CLOUDSDK_* variables beforehand.
