  • Sep 25, 2026The convert.base64-encode, convert.quoted-printable-encode and convert.quoted-printable-decode stream filters accept a line-break-chars option whose length is tCVE-2026-92842 · Websites & servers · PHP Group · reported by security@php.netMedium 5.9

The convert.base64-encode, convert.quoted-printable-encode and convert.quoted-printable-decode stream filters accept a line-break-chars option whose length is tracked separately from the string itself. The filter constructors duplicate the value with pestrdup(), which stops at the first NUL byte, while keeping the original length. When the filter later emits a line break it copies the recorded length out of the truncated allocation, reading past its end and placing adjacent heap bytes into the filter output.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/amdxdna: reject a command chain that carries no commands A chain whose command_countCVE-2026-98145 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/amdxdna: reject a command chain that carries no commands A chain whose command_count is zero passes the payload length check, because struct_size(payload, data, 0) is just the header. The fill loop then does not run, so offset stays zero and the request is submitted with a zero-length buffer. On firmware without AIE2_NPU_COMMAND that ends at the opcode check, since op is still ERT_INVALID_CMD and aie2_get_chain_msg_op() answers MSG_OP_MAX_OPCODE. aie2_get_npu_chain_msg_op() answers MSG_OP_CHAIN_EXEC_NPU whatever it is given, so there the submission continues to drm_clflush_virt_range(cmd_buf, 0), which reads the byte before the buffer and faults on the vmap guard page. EXEC_CMD is reachable by any process that can open the render node. Reject the request instead.

  • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btusb: Fix UAF of btusb_data by rx_work btusb_close() and btusb_flush() cancel CVE-2026-97977 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btusb: Fix UAF of btusb_data by rx_work btusb_close() and btusb_flush() cancel data->rx_work with the asynchronous cancel_delayed_work(), so if btusb_rx_work() is already running on another CPU it keeps running after the cancel returns. btusb_disconnect() calls hci_unregister_dev(), which invokes btusb_close(), and then frees the btusb_data. A still running btusb_rx_work() then dereferences the freed data: while ((skb = skb_dequeue(&data->acl_q))) data->recv_acl(data->hdev, skb); Use cancel_delayed_work_sync() instead. In btusb_close() the cancel also has to happen after btusb_stop_traffic(), otherwise an URB completion racing with the cancel can requeue the work right after it has been waited for.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Free histogram the field rejected for a bad modifier Writing a hist trigger whose value or variable carries a modifier that is not allowed there leaks the fields that were built for it. __create_val_field() takes the field from parse_expr() and stores it in hist_data->fields[] only after the modifier checks have run: hist_field = parse_expr(hist_data, file, field_str, flags, var_name, &n_subexprs); ... if (hist_field->flags & HIST_FIELD_FL_VAR) { if (hist_field->flags & (...)) goto err; } else { if (hist_field->flags & (...)) goto err; } hist_data->fields[val_idx] = hist_field; Both checks jump past that store, and the err label returns without freeing anything. The error unwinds to create_hist_data(), which calls destroy_hist_data() -> destroy_hist_fields(), and that reaches a field only by walking fields[]. A field that never got there is unreachable. commit e0213434fe3e ("tracing: Do not let histogram values have some modifiers") set ret to -EINVAL and fell through to the store, which left the field owned by fields[] and freed along with the rest of hist_data. • Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix cifsFileInfo reference leak in deferred close When cifs_close() defers a CVE-2026-97558 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix cifsFileInfo reference leak in deferred close When cifs_close() defers a close, it hands the cifsFileInfo reference of the closing struct file to the queued work. Each execution of smb2_deferred_work_close() drops one such reference. deferred_close_scheduled can be false while the work is pending: the workqueue clears PENDING when the callback starts to run, before the callback clears the flag under deferred_lock. A close in that interval requeues the running work, and the callback then clears the flag, leaving the requeued work pending with the flag down. A later cifs_open() can reuse the handle and its cifs_close() reaches the same branch: queue_delayed_work() fails because the work is still pending, but cifs_close() returns without dropping the closing file's reference. The cifsFileInfo count stays pinned and its tlink, dentry and server handle are leaked. Check the return value and hand off the reference only when work was actually queued. Otherwise, use the shared _cifsFileInfo_put(), like the mod_delayed_work() branch above: the pending execution already owns its reference. This issue wa

  • Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: au1000: move free_irq out of the close-time spinlocked section au1000_close() calls fCVE-2026-93815 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: au1000: move free_irq out of the close-time spinlocked section au1000_close() calls free_irq() while aup->lock is still held with spin_lock_irqsave(). free_irq() can sleep because it takes the IRQ descriptor request mutex, so it does not belong inside the close-time spinlocked section. This was found by our static analysis tool and then confirmed by manual review of the in-tree au1000_close() .ndo_stop path. The reviewed path keeps aup->lock held across the MAC reset, queue stop and free_irq(dev->irq, dev). A directed runtime validation kept that ndo_stop carrier and the same free_irq(dev->irq, dev) operation under the driver lock. Lockdep reported "BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context" and "Invalid wait context" while free_irq() was taking desc->request_mutex, with au1000_close() and free_irq() on the stack. Drop aup->lock before freeing the IRQ. The protected close-time work still stops the device and queue before IRQ teardown, but the sleepable IRQ core path now runs outside the spinlocked section.

  • Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: guard nfsd_serv deref in nfsd_file_net_dispose nfsd_file_net_dispose() is the consumCVE-2026-93212 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: guard nfsd_serv deref in nfsd_file_net_dispose nfsd_file_net_dispose() is the consumer side of l->freeme: the nfsd service thread loop calls it to drain entries that the filecache garbage collector and shrinker append via nfsd_file_dispose_list_delayed(). During per-net teardown, nn->nfsd_serv is cleared before the filecache laundrette is shut down, so the service thread can still run a dispose pass that finds more than eight entries on l->freeme and dereferences a NULL svc_serv: nfsd service thread loop nfsd_file_net_dispose(nn) if (!list_empty(&l->freeme)) { ... svc_wake_up(nn->nfsd_serv); /* nn->nfsd_serv == NULL */ } The sibling helper nfsd_file_dispose_list_delayed() already documents this ordering and caches nn->nfsd_serv into a local before testing it for NULL. nfsd_file_net_dispose() was introduced with the same raw svc_wake_up(nn->nfsd_serv) call and never picked up the guard. Fix by loading nn->nfsd_serv into a local svc_serv pointer and only calling svc_wake_up() when it is non-NULL, matching the pattern in nfsd_file_dispose_list_delayed().

CyberPanel v1.9.1 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the compress method exposed through the /filemanager/controller endpoint. An authenticated remote attacker with ownership of any configured domain can supply absolute or otherwise out-of-scope file paths in the listOfFiles JSON property, together with attacker-controlled basePath and compressedFileName values, in a method=compress request. Because the application validates only domain ownership and does not canonicalize or restrict these paths to the authorized site directory, the backend appends them to zip or tar archive commands and executes them as the website externalApp user, allowing disclosure of arbitrary readable files through the generated archive.

  • Sep 23, 2026The Reachy Mini daemon exposes an HTTP API for managing the robot.CVE-2026-96455 · Other software · Pollen Robotics · reported by reefs@jfrog.comHigh 8.8

The Reachy Mini daemon exposes an HTTP API for managing the robot. Its app installation endpoint, POST /apps/install in src/reachy_mini/daemon/app/routers/apps.py, has no authentication. The handler's only dependency is Depends(get_app_manager), which just hands back the manager object from application state, so nothing in the chain ever checks a credential. The endpoint takes an AppInfo body naming a Hugging Face Space. The daemon downloads that Space and installs it as a Python package through install_package in src/reachy_mini/apps/sources/local_common_venv.py, using uv or pip. Installing a Python package runs the package's own build and setup code, so whoever chooses the Space chooses what code the robot runs. Anyone can publish a public Hugging Face Space, so this is not a meaningful restriction on the attacker. How far this reaches depends on the model. In _resolve_bind_host in src/reachy_mini/daemon/app/main.py the daemon binds 0.0.0.0 when it runs as the wireless version and 127.0.0.1 otherwise, with the vendor's own comment explaining that the robot has to be reachable on the LAN. On a wireless unit, then, any host on the same network can install and run code on the

Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability in OAuth token issuance in hexpm hexpm allows a user whose organization membership or session has ended to keep reading the organization's private packages and their documentation tarballs via a retained refresh token. generate_refresh_token/4 in lib/hexpm/oauth/jwt.ex signs the refresh token with the same iss, aud and scope claims as the access token, so it carries the same repository:<org> scopes. The CDN service that serves private repositories verifies the signature and time claims and then authorizes from the scope claim, with no database lookup and no way to tell the two token kinds apart. Removing a member or revoking a session therefore takes effect at the CDN only when the 30 day refresh token expires, instead of after the 30 minute access token lifetime. In MISP, the Overmind event view enriches an event with its most recent attached report for preview purposes. The enrichment logic fetched the report using only the event ID as the lookup condition, without applying the report's own distribution/ACL constraints. Because MISP reports carry an independent distribution setting that can be more restrictive than the parent event's distribution, an authenticated user who had read access to the event could retrieve and view a report whose distribution explicitly excluded that user. Additionally, the query did not filter out soft-deleted reports, allowing retrieval of reports that had been administratively removed. The result is an unauthorized disclosure of threat-intelligence report content to users who should not have access under the report's own access-control policy. The vulnerability requires an authenticated MISP user with at least read access to the affected event.

  • Sep 22, 2026MISP's WorkflowsController exposed the moduleStatelessExecution action in the Security component's unlockedActions list.CVE-2026-95658 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 6.9

MISP's WorkflowsController exposed the moduleStatelessExecution action in the Security component's unlockedActions list. In CakePHP, listing an action in unlockedActions disables both the CSRF token check and the field hash validation for that action. Because moduleStatelessExecution executes a workflow module's exec() method with caller-supplied input and parameters, the absence of CSRF protection allowed an attacker to craft a cross-site form post (or equivalent cross-origin request) that, when submitted by an authenticated site administrator, would cause the administrator's browser to invoke the action on the MISP instance.  The attacker could select any workflow module to execute, including action modules that write blocklist and warninglist entries, and supply arbitrary input and parameters of their choosing. This constitutes a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability with high integrity impact on the MISP instance's security-related data.  The vulnerability was identified during an internal security review and was not externally reported. The fix is included in MISP v2.5.47.

  • Sep 22, 2026Live Composer – Free WordPress Website Builder: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-16778 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Live Composer – Free WordPress Website Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'dslc_module_downloads_output' Shortcode Content in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.21 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The save-time wp_kses_post check is bypassed because the payload is stored as a serialized string containing no HTML tags for kses to tokenize, and the shortcode callback re-emits attacker-controlled values — including view_all_link (href attribute), main_heading_title (h2 body), button_text (anchor body), and button_inline_svg (anchor body) — without any escaping at render time.

Email::Sender::Transport::Sendmail versions before 2.602 for Perl allow arbitrary command execution on Windows sending a message whose envelope address reaches the shell in _sendmail_pipe. On MSWin32 the envelope sender and every recipient go into a single command string, which open() passes to a shell. Every other platform gets the list form, which runs sendmail directly. When the caller supplies no envelope, Email::Sender::Simple takes the recipients from the To and Cc headers and the sender from the From header. An attacker who controls one of those header addresses runs commands as the sending process.

The Intel SEDI IPM (inter-processor mailbox) driver in drivers/ipm/ipm_sedi.c handles an inbound message interrupt in ipm_event_dispose(). It read the peer-written doorbell register, extracted the payload length with IPC_HEADER_GET_LENGTH(), and passed that length straight to sedi_ipc_read_msg() to copy the message into struct ipm_sedi_context.incoming_data_buf, without checking it against the buffer size. The doorbell length field is 10 bits wide (IPC_HEADER_LENGTH_MASK is 0x03FF), so it can encode up to 1023 bytes, while incoming_data_buf is IPC_DATA_LEN_MAX (128) bytes. The bounds check in the underlying HAL sedi_ipc_read_msg() is a DBG_CHECK that compiles away unless CONFIG_DEBUG is set, so no check remained in a production image. The doorbell register is written by the peer processor on the other side of the IPC link — for the intel_ish_5_* targets, the host CPU's ISH driver, reached through the device's memory-mapped register window. Host-side software with driver-level or raw BAR access can therefore set a length of up to 1023 and cause the interrupt handler to copy far past the destination buffer. The affected path requires an application to have registered an IPM receive

MISP has a security issue that can let a user gain more access than their API key is supposed to allow. A read-only API key should only let someone view information. However, after logging in with such a key, a specific MISP function could accidentally restore the user’s normal account permissions. This means someone with a read-only API key could potentially gain write, delete, or even administrator access if their underlying account has those permissions. Exploiting the issue requires a valid read-only API key and a single request to the affected function. The main impact is that MISP’s API key restrictions can be bypassed, allowing actions that the API key was specifically meant to prevent. Version affected: <2.5.47

Temporal Server compiles a Worker Controller Instance module into its Worker Service, and that module registers a compute provider named subprocess whose function is to launch a worker by running a command on the machine hosting the Worker Service. The program name and the argument vector that provider executes are taken from the compute provider configuration supplied in the caller's request rather than from operator configuration. An authenticated caller holding only a write role in a single namespace can therefore configure a worker deployment version so that the Worker Service executes a command of the caller's choosing on its own host, under the account the server process runs as. Execution is immediate rather than deferred: the configuration handler invokes every provider using the invoke strategy directly after validating the submitted specification, so no scaling decision, task arrival, or unusual request sequence is required. Because the Worker Service process holds the persistence credentials for every namespace in the cluster and the cluster's TLS material, the consequence reaches beyond the caller's namespace to the cluster as a whole. The provider is present in the off

temporalio/sqlparser can panic when Parse, ParseStrictDDL, or ParseNext processes a MySQL version comment whose contents are empty or consist only of one to five decimal digits. ExtractMysqlComment does not check the -1 result returned by strings.IndexFunc before using it as a slice boundary. The resulting Go runtime panic propagates unless the caller recovers it on the parsing goroutine, so applications that parse attacker-controlled SQL can terminate. Temporal Server exposes the affected parser through ListWorkers. When that API is enabled, an authenticated caller with namespace read permission can submit a malformed query that terminates the receiving Matching process. Repeated requests can sustain a denial of service. The issue affects availability only; no confidentiality or integrity impact was identified.

Pod::Text versions before 6.1.1 for Perl allow CPU and memory exhaustion formatting a POD document whose =over nesting drives the margin to the output width. Each =over adds its indent to the margin, which wrap() subtracts from the output width to get the space available for text. When that space reaches zero, the line-splitting substitution matches the empty string, and the loop consumes no input while appending the margin padding on every pass. Formatting an attacker-supplied POD document never returns, and the output grows until memory is exhausted.

  • Sep 18, 2026Process Compose is a scheduler and orchestrator for non-containerized applications.CVE-2026-77339 · Other software · F1bonacc1 · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1

Process Compose is a scheduler and orchestrator for non-containerized applications. Prior to 1.120.0, the MCP SSE listener in src/mcp/server.go accepts browser-origin requests to /sse and the returned message endpoint without validating the Host header, validating the Origin header, or authenticating the caller. When MCP SSE is enabled, a malicious website can use DNS rebinding to reach the loopback listener and issue MCP requests. If expose_control_tools is enabled, the attacker can enumerate process state, read or search logs, truncate logs, and start, stop, restart, or scale local processes; configured user-defined tools can expose additional commands and output. The Gin REST API token middleware does not protect this separately started MCP listener. This issue is fixed in version 1.120.0.

vm2 through 3.12.0 exposes Node.js's crypto.setFips() function to untrusted guest code when an embedder explicitly allowlists the crypto builtin for a NodeVM (require.builtin: ['crypto']). The builtin sanitizer (sanitizeCryptoModule in lib/builtin.js) replaces crypto.setEngine but leaves crypto.setFips callable, and the readonly wrapper used to expose the host module does not localize side effects of forwarded host functions. Guest code can therefore call crypto.setFips() to change the FIPS mode of the entire host process; the modified mode is subsequently observed by trusted host code (crypto.getFips() changed from 0 to 1 in the reported test), crossing the NodeVM isolation boundary. Imager versions before 1.036 for Perl disclose uninitialised heap memory reading a paletted image with pixel indexes past its colour map in i_gpix_p and i_glin_p. The palette is allocated uninitialised, and only the entries a reader adds count as populated. The TGA reader stores pixel indexes without checking them against the colour map. i_gpix_p() rejects only an index greater than the count, so an index equal to it reads the first unpopulated entry, and getpixel() returns it. i_glin_p() skips any index at or beyond the count without writing that pixel to the caller's buffer. The palette-to-RGB conversion reads each row through an uninitialised buffer, so those pixels of the converted image hold prior heap contents. Reading an attacker-supplied image through Imager->read() and then fetching its pixels or converting it to RGB discloses process heap memory.

The OpenFeature Operator allows users to expose feature flags to applications. In version 0.9.2 and earlier, a tenant who can create a controller-owned workload can use the openfeature.dev/featureflagsource annotation with NAMESPACE/NAME syntax to reference a FeatureFlagSource or InProcessConfiguration in another namespace. On multi-tenant clusters that use namespaces as trust boundaries, the cluster-scoped operator reads that resource and materializes spec.envVars literal values, spec.httpSyncBearerToken, sync URIs, and supporting ConfigMaps into the tenant's workload. Single-tenant clusters are not impacted, secretKeyRef and configMapKeyRef values remain namespace-local, and creating a FeatureFlagSource is not required.
