Sep 15, 2026OpenBMC's IPMI implementation, phosphor-net-ipmid, contains a logic flaw in which an unauthenticated client can force the RAKP Message 1 handler to return beforCVE-2026-16141 · Other software · OpenBMC · reported by 44488dab-36db-4358-99f9-bc116477f914High 8.1
OpenBMC's IPMI implementation, phosphor-net-ipmid, contains a logic flaw in which an unauthenticated client can force the RAKP Message 1 handler to return before it overwrites the authentication object's constructor defaults. The IPMI service then accepts a RAKP Message 3 whose HMAC is computed with the constant 20-byte 'userKey' initialized from the string '0penBmc' and an often-predictable 'bmcRandomNum'. Several downstream vendors implement phosphor-net-ipmid as their IPMI stack, such as NVIDIA and H3C.

Sep 14, 2026In Concrete CMS 9.2.0 through 9.5.2, the REST API page update endpoint (PUT /ccm/api/1.0/pages/{cID}) did not enforce page-property, page-template, or page-typeCVE-2026-81901 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deHigh 7.2
In Concrete CMS 9.2.0 through 9.5.2, the REST API page update endpoint (PUT /ccm/api/1.0/pages/{cID}) did not enforce page-property, page-template, or page-type authorization. A user granted only content-editing rights on a page could therefore alter its properties, template, and type through the API, and could set the header_extra_content attribute, which is rendered unescaped into the head element of every page, to persist JavaScript that executed in the browser of every visitor, including higher-privileged reviewers who approve the page version. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 7.2 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:P/VC:H/VI:H/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Sep 14, 2026SIPSorcery is a WebRTC, SIP, and VoIP library for C# and .NET.CVE-2026-54632 · Other software · sipsorcery-org · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
SIPSorcery is a WebRTC, SIP, and VoIP library for C# and .NET. Prior to 10.0.9, RTPChannel.OnRTPPacketReceived and the STUNAttribute.ParseMessageAttributes, STUNXORAddressAttribute, and STUNAddressAttribute parsing path index untrusted bytes without sufficient length checks, while UdpReceiver.EndReceiveFrom closes the channel when those operations raise a non-socket exception. A remote party can send a single short RTP packet or malformed zero-to-seven-byte STUN address attribute to the shared RTP/ICE socket, including during ICE connectivity checks before DTLS or STUN MESSAGE-INTEGRITY verification, and terminate the active RTP or WebRTC media session. The attacker must reach or learn the advertised ephemeral RTP/ICE port, but no authentication or user interaction is required, and the impact is limited to availability. This issue is fixed in version 10.0.9.

Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: universal-pidff: stop the device when force-feedback init fails universal_pidff_probeCVE-2026-89624 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: universal-pidff: stop the device when force-feedback init fails universal_pidff_probe() starts the device with hid_hw_start() and then, if force-feedback initialisation fails, returns the error through a label that only does "return error". The device is left started. The HID core does not unwind on the driver's behalf. __hid_device_probe() releases the devres group, closes the report and clears hdev->driver: if (ret) { devres_release_group(&hdev->dev, hdev->devres_group_id); hid_close_report(hdev); hdev->driver = NULL; } The hidraw character device that hid_hw_start() registered through hid_connect() is allocated with kzalloc() and added with cdev_device_add(), so it is not devres-managed and survives that. With hdev->driver NULL, hid_device_remove() skips hid_hw_stop() as well, because it only unwinds while a driver is still attached. The registration therefore outlives the device on both paths. Opening the surviving /dev/hidrawX writes into freed memory. KASAN reports a use-after-free write from hidraw_open() -> hid_hw_open() -> the transport's open callback, which takes a spinlock inside

Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: forcedeth: fix off-by-one when saving/restoring non-PCI config space nv_suspend() and nv_rCVE-2026-89596 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: forcedeth: fix off-by-one when saving/restoring non-PCI config space nv_suspend() and nv_resume() walk the non-PCI configuration space with for (i = 0; i <= np->register_size/sizeof(u32); i++) which runs one iteration too many. saved_config_space is declared as u32 saved_config_space[NV_PCI_REGSZ_MAX/4]; and NV_PCI_REGSZ_VER3 is equal to NV_PCI_REGSZ_MAX (0x604), so on a VER3 device register_size/sizeof(u32) is exactly the array length and the last iteration addresses one element past the end. The element it lands on is np->name_rx[0..3]: saved_config_space[] is followed immediately by char name_rx[IFNAMSIZ + 3], and char needs no padding. Nothing observable is corrupted by that, because nv_request_irq() rewrites name_rx with sprintf() before it is ever passed to request_irq(). The bug is the out-of-bounds access itself, which UBSAN reports and which CONFIG_UBSAN_TRAP=y turns into a trap that aborts the running kernel code, plus an MMIO read and, on resume, an MMIO writel() to base + 0x604, one dword past the range the driver mapped: np->base = ioremap(addr, np->register_size); VER1 and VER2 devices sta

Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: SUNRPC: svcauth_gss: enforce krb5 token minimum length svcauth_gss_unwrap_priv() validatesCVE-2026-89550 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: SUNRPC: svcauth_gss: enforce krb5 token minimum length svcauth_gss_unwrap_priv() validates only an upper bound on the wire-supplied opaque length before handing the buffer to gss_unwrap(): if (len > xdr_stream_remaining(xdr)) goto unwrap_failed; offset = xdr_stream_pos(xdr); ... maj_stat = gss_unwrap(ctx, offset, offset + len, buf); The wire value `len` flows unchanged as the upper bound into the krb5 unwrap path, so a len in [0, 16] passes this check and is handed to gss_unwrap(). For a krb5 v2 context that lands in gss_krb5_unwrap_v2(), which reads the 16-byte RFC 4121 token header fields at ptr+4 and ptr+6 and then calls rotate_left() before any integrity check. With a sub-header length the header reads run past the token, and _rotate_left()'s `shift %= buf->len` path can divide by zero when buf->len has been driven to zero by the truncated token. A header-only token (len == 16) is equally invalid: with a non-zero RRC field and the opaque blob ending at the XDR buffer boundary, rotate_left() builds a zero-length subbuffer, reaching the same division. Reject the token at the serve

Affected versions of Puppet Enterprise contain a command injection vulnerability. An authenticated user with Puppet administrative privileges can inject arbitrary shell commands by providing a specially crafted value for this parameter, which is passed to a shell execution context without sufficient sanitization. Because the resulting commands are executed with root privileges, successful exploitation can lead to full compromise of the affected system. It affects Puppet Enterprise 2023.8.0 through 2023.8.10 and Puppet Enterprise 2025.0.0 through 2025.11.2. This has been resolved in Puppet Enterprise 2023.8.11 and Puppet Enterprise 2025.11.3.

Sep 10, 2026Affected versions of MISP do not consistently enforce the acting user's authorization when instantiating event templates.CVE-2026-88915 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 7.1
Affected versions of MISP do not consistently enforce the acting user's authorization when instantiating event templates. For templates using distribution = 4, the template can specify a sharing_group_id. The instantiation path passed that value into event creation without verifying that the user instantiating the template was actually permitted to use the selected sharing group. The commit notes that Event::_add() only performed its own sharing-group authorization in another code path, leaving template instantiation able to write the identifier directly. The same instantiation path also attached template-specified tags without checking the user's normal tagging permissions. In addition, it hardcoded local => 0, meaning tags marked local_only could be attached globally and consequently propagate through synchronization or export, contrary to their intended restriction. The fix adds explicit SharingGroup::canUse() authorization for the acting user, applies the same tag-modification checks used by normal event tagging, and ensures local_only tags are attached locally. Version affected: ≤2.5.45

Sep 10, 2026Snipe-IT's predefined kit checkout path does not enforce Full Multiple Company Support (FMCS) tenant isolation on the checkout target.CVE-2026-88894 · Other software · grokability · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3
Snipe-IT's predefined kit checkout path does not enforce Full Multiple Company Support (FMCS) tenant isolation on the checkout target. Unlike the single, bulk, API, accessory, license and consumable checkout paths, App\Services\PredefinedKitCheckoutService never calls $item->canCheckoutTo($target); it only performs the actor-vs-item policy check and an availability check before persisting the checkout. With FMCS enabled, a non-superuser who belongs to at least two companies and holds the assets.checkout permission can POST to /kits/{kit}/checkout with a user_id belonging only to company B and have a company-A asset (and likewise kit licenses, consumables and accessories) assigned to that user, bypassing the company-mismatch check that blocks the same operation on every other checkout path. The issue is fixed in Snipe-IT 8.7.2; it was runtime-verified on v8.6.3 and code-inspected on v8.7.1, and the affected service has lacked the check since 2019, so earlier FMCS deployments are likely also affected.

AVideo through revision c3edcc274c389816d434acadac07ee78eaf330c1 (master, 2026-08-23) does not enforce the Live stream password check on the stats endpoint or on the HLS origin. Live::_getStats() (plugin/Live/Live.php) returns a password-protected transmission's RTMP stream key, its isPasswordProtected flag, and its HLS (m3u8) URL to unauthenticated callers, in both the public applications list and the hidden_applications branch used when canSeeLiveFromLiveKey() fails. Separately, the shipped NGINX configuration (deploy/nginx/nginx.conf) serves the .m3u8 playlist, the AES-128 key, and the transport-stream segments from the /live location without any auth_request (the auth_key_check directive in the .key location is commented out). A remote, unauthenticated attacker can therefore retrieve the stream key and decryption key and watch a password-protected live transmission without supplying the configured password. No patched version was available at the time of the advisory.

An OS command injection weakness in the read-only enforcement of the SQL validation component in Amazon awslabs postgres-mcp-server before 1.1.7 might allow an unauthenticated actor to execute operating system commands on the host of a self-managed PostgreSQL server by placing a crafted COPY ... TO PROGRAM statement into content that is processed when an authenticated user interacts with the MCP server in its default read-only mode. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 1.1.7 or later.

Sep 9, 2026Snipe-IT through 8.6.4 (fixed in 8.7.0) does not enforce the components.view permission on the authenticated endpoint GET /api/v1/hardware/<asset-id>/assigned/cCVE-2026-86764 · Other software · grokability · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1
Snipe-IT through 8.6.4 (fixed in 8.7.0) does not enforce the components.view permission on the authenticated endpoint GET /api/v1/hardware/<asset-id>/assigned/components. The endpoint authorizes only assets.view on the parent asset before returning linked component details; the components.view check is applied only to the response's available_actions.view flag and not to the returned data. As a result, an authenticated user holding only assets.view can enumerate component IDs, names, assigned quantities, and notes that are otherwise protected — the direct GET /api/v1/components/<id> endpoint correctly returns 403 Forbidden for such users.

Sep 7, 2026Affected versions of MISP expose organisation metadata through the dashboard organisation picker without applying the same visibility restrictions enforced by tCVE-2026-86418 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Low 2.3
Affected versions of MISP expose organisation metadata through the dashboard organisation picker without applying the same visibility restrictions enforced by the normal organisation index and per-organisation view. The affected endpoint returned fields including: - organisation ID; - UUID; - name. When Security.hide_organisation_index_from_users was enabled, normal organisation enumeration was restricted, but the dashboard picker still queried all organisations. This allowed authenticated users to discover organisations that should have remained hidden from them. The fix calls Organisation::createConditions($this->Auth->user()) and appends the resulting ACL conditions to the picker query. Ordinary users are thereby limited to organisations associated with events or proposals they can already see, plus their own organisation, while users with the appropriate sharing-group privilege retain broader visibility. Sep 7, 2026Affected versions of MISP inconsistently enforced email-address visibility in DashboardsController::listTemplates().CVE-2026-86417 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.3
Affected versions of MISP inconsistently enforced email-address visibility in DashboardsController::listTemplates(). The query always fetched User.email, while redaction happened only inside the non-REST rendering branch. As a result, the same authenticated user who saw redacted data in the normal HTML interface could request the REST/JSON representation and receive template owners’ email addresses without the intended privilege check. The fix moves the decision to a centralized User::canSeeEmails() authorization helper. Email addresses are now fetched only when the requester is a site administrator or the instance explicitly enables Security.disclose_user_emails. The same helper is also reused by other dashboard widgets to keep email-disclosure policy consistent. Version affected: ≤2.5.45

Sep 7, 2026Affected versions of MISP do not enforce parent-event visibility when serving cryptographic keys through CryptographicKeysController::view().CVE-2026-86408 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 7.1
Affected versions of MISP do not enforce parent-event visibility when serving cryptographic keys through CryptographicKeysController::view(). The vulnerable handler queried CryptographicKey directly using the supplied key ID and selected sensitive fields such as: * type * key_data * fingerprint but did not fetch or authorize the associated parent event first. The upstream commit explicitly states that cryptographicKeys/view could return a protected event’s signing key to any authenticated user. The fix adds parent_id and parent_type to the lookup and then enforces authorization through the associated event using fetchSimpleEvent($user, parent_id). If the parent is not an Event, access is limited to site administrators. Version affected: ≤2.5.45
