  • Aug 27, 2026The mcp-router CLI served its MCP aggregator on every interface and enforced authentication only when the operator asked for it.CVE-2026-81094 · Other software · mcp-router · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3

The mcp-router CLI served its MCP aggregator on every interface and enforced authentication only when the operator asked for it. The serve command in apps/cli/src/commands/serve.ts defaulted its host to the all-interfaces address on a fixed port, and required a token only when the corresponding flag was supplied, so a default invocation exposed the aggregator, and every MCP server it fronted, to anyone able to reach the port. Release 0.6.3 defaults the host to the loopback address and refuses to start without a token whenever the host it is given is not a loopback address; no earlier release carries either check.

In CodeMeter Runtime before versions 8.41a and 9.10, the logger does not sanitize input strings in certain cases, allowing an attacker to inject printf-style format specifiers. This can be used to reliably crash CodeMeter and disclose sensitive information such as process memory and stack canaries. The attack works locally, for example by using cmu --set-proxy to set the proxy value, and remotely when combined with CVE-2026-81573 by setting General.ProxyServer and then triggering this vulnerability.

whichllm before 0.5.16 contains a code injection vulnerability in the run and snippet commands that allows a remote attacker who controls a HuggingFace repository to achieve arbitrary code execution by crafting a malicious GGUF filename containing double quotes or other special characters. The script generation function in cli.py interpolates HuggingFace-derived values, including GGUF variant filenames from the Hub API siblings rfilename field, directly into Python source code without escaping, allowing the crafted filename to break out of the generated string literal and execute injected code on the user's machine before any model download occurs.

  • Aug 26, 2026DebugKit provides a debugging toolbar for CakePHP applications.CVE-2026-54614 · Other software · cakephp · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3

DebugKit provides a debugging toolbar for CakePHP applications. Prior to 4.10.3 and 5.2.4, the DebugKit MailPreview feature in src/Controller/MailPreviewController.php accepts a route-controlled previewName value in findPreview and passes the resolved class from App::className() to constructor execution without rejecting namespace separators or verifying that the class extends DebugKit\Mailer\MailPreview. An attacker able to access DebugKit while debug mode is enabled and the request hostname is local or allowlisted can select an unintended application class through the mail-preview preview route, resulting in arbitrary constructor execution and limited disclosure of application information. This issue is fixed in versions 4.10.3 and 5.2.4.

If the firmware has crashed the kernel still needs to go through the state changes to reset its internal to be able to correctly work the next time the DSP is booted up. The case with IPC timeout is a bit more problematic, but it has been rootcaused to be the result of system scheduling blockage and the firmware did actually received and handled the message, but the reply handling got blocked by issues outside of the SOF stack. So far the best way to handle this is to continue with setting the state.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: sloppy-logic-analyzer: fix use-after-free via debugfs trigger on unbind The "trigger" debugfs file has a hand-rolled ->write handler (trigger_write()) that dereferences the per-device gpio_la_poll_priv. The file is created with debugfs_create_file_unsafe(), and the handler never takes a debugfs reference. Nothing keeps the object alive while the handler runs. priv is allocated with devm_kzalloc(). devres frees it when the platform device is unbound. debugfs_create_file_unsafe() installs no full_proxy wrapper, so debugfs_remove_recursive() in gpio_la_poll_remove() does not wait for an in-flight trigger_write(). The blob_lock taken there does not help, because trigger_write() never takes it. A write that races an unbind therefore writes into freed memory: trigger_write() gpio_la_poll_remove() priv = m->private buf = memdup_user() [may sleep] mutex_lock(&priv->blob_lock) debugfs_remove_recursive() [no wait] mutex_unlock(&priv->blob_lock)

  • Aug 26, 2026LogTape is an unobtrusive logging library.CVE-2026-54511 · Other software · dahlia · reported by GitHubHigh 8.6

LogTape is an unobtrusive logging library. Prior to 1.3.11, 2.0.14, and 2.1.5, the @logtape/syslog package's escapeStructuredDataValue() function in packages/syslog/src/syslog.ts does not neutralize C0 control characters from U+0000 through U+001F in structured data values, and formatStructuredData() inserts property keys without validating the RFC 5424 SD-NAME grammar. When includeStructuredData is true, an attacker-controlled newline can terminate an RFC 6587 non-transparent TCP syslog frame and make following bytes appear as a forged RFC 5424 record, while a key containing a closing bracket or other forbidden character can terminate or corrupt the structured-data element. Applications that forward attacker-controlled property values or keys can therefore allow forged records with arbitrary hosts, applications, process identifiers, facilities, or severity levels, undermining downstream collector and SIEM integrity. This issue is fixed in versions 1.3.11, 2.0.14, and 2.1.5.

  • Aug 24, 2026Xinference loads models with Hugging Face remote code execution unconditionally enabled, and before version 2.12.0 exposes no setting to disable it.CVE-2026-76841 · Other software · xorbitsai · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

Xinference loads models with Hugging Face remote code execution unconditionally enabled, and before version 2.12.0 exposes no setting to disable it. Six loader call sites pass trust_remote_code=True as a literal or as an unconditional default: RerankModel._get_tokenizer in xinference/model/rerank/core.py, SentenceTransformerRerankModel.load in xinference/model/rerank/sentence_transformers/core.py, SentenceTransformerEmbeddingModel.load in xinference/model/embedding/sentence_transformers/core.py, FlagEmbeddingModel.load in xinference/model/embedding/flag/core.py, and two sites in xinference/model/llm/transformers/core.py where PytorchModel._sanitize_model_config and PytorchModel._get_components default the value to True. Because a caller with model launch access can register a model whose type is unknown and supply an arbitrary model path, the server reaches _auto_detect_type and then AutoTokenizer.from_pretrained, which imports and executes Python declared by the model directory's own tokenizer_config.json auto_map, running attacker-supplied code with the privileges of the worker process. Version 2.12.0 gates every site behind allow_trust_remote_code and the XINFERENCE_TRUST_REMOTE

  • Aug 23, 2026Reverse::Proxy versions before 0.04 for Perl allow HTTP request smuggling via a percent-decoded PATH_INFO written unencoded to the upstream request line.CVE-2026-75922 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eMedium 5.3

Reverse::Proxy versions before 0.04 for Perl allow HTTP request smuggling via a percent-decoded PATH_INFO written unencoded to the upstream request line. PSGI hands PATH_INFO to an application percent-decoded, so a %XX sequence in the client URL has become a raw byte by the time the proxy sees it. The proxy appends that byte string to the upstream base URL, and for an Upgrade tunnel writes it into a request line it serializes itself, re-encoding nothing in either path. The HTTP client that sends the resulting URL does not validate the target either. A path containing %0d%0a therefore arrives at the upstream as a CRLF that ends the request line, and a decoded space, '?' or '#' truncates it the same way. Everything the client writes after the CRLF is read by the upstream as a second request. On the buffered path it arrives on a keep-alive connection the proxy pools and reuses for other clients. Its method, path and headers are all chosen by the client, and the upstream attributes it to the proxy, so it reaches upstream paths that the proxy's own routing does not expose.

  • Aug 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/lru_sort: error out for >10000 active_mem_bp damos_quota_score() can trigger diviCVE-2026-74645 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/lru_sort: error out for >10000 active_mem_bp damos_quota_score() can trigger division by zero if the target value is zero. DAMON_LRU_SORT lets users set the target value for the hot memory scheme via active_mem_bp parameter. It avoids setting it as the target value if the parameter value is zero. However, it also sets the cold memory scheme with a target value that is calculated as '10000 - active_mem_bp + 2'. Hence, if a user sets active_mem_bp 10002, the cold memory scheme's quota goal target value can be zero. As a result, division by zero can be triggered. Fix by returning an error when the user tries to start DAMON with >10000 active_mem_bp parameter value. It makes no sense to set active_mem_bp with 10002. It also requires module parameters write permission to reproduce the issue. That said, the consequence is quite bad. One reliable way to reproduce the issue is like below: # cd /sys/module/damon_lru_sort/parameters # echo 1000 > wmarks_high # echo 995 > wmarks_mid # echo 0 > wmarks_low # echo 10002 > active_mem_bp # echo Y > enabled # dmesg -w [...]

  • Aug 20, 2026Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences ('CRLF Injection') vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to smuggle CR, LF, or NULCVE-2026-75484 · Other software · mtrudel · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.9

    Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences ('CRLF Injection') vulnerability in mtrudel bandit allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to smuggle CR, LF, or NUL characters into application-visible request headers via HTTP/2. Bandit.HTTP2.Stream.read_headers/1 validates pseudo-header placement and uniqueness, header-name casing, connection-specific headers, the te value, and content-length, but never checks field values. Because HPACK carries arbitrary octets, a HEADERS block whose field values contain \r, \n, or \0 decodes without error and the values land in conn.req_headers unchanged. The HTTP/1 path already rejects the same octets; HTTP/2 did not. Bandit itself is not a sink for the injected bytes: its own logging uses fixed strings or inspect, and HTTP/2 response headers are HPACK-encoded and separately rejected by Plug's put_resp_header, so response splitting is not reachable through this path. The risk is entirely in how a downstream application consumes header values, such as appending one verbatim to a plain-text log or concatenating it into an upstream request. A related gap bundled in the same fix: only :method, :scheme, and :path were checked for at most one occurrence;

Expat through 2.8.3 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that allows attackers to trigger memory corruption by processing XML with external entity parsers created via XML_ExternalEntityParserCreate. A struct size mismatch between ELEMENT_TYPE members causes storeAtts to read the attIndex member past allocated memory boundaries, resulting in failure to normalize whitespace in non-CDATA attributes or a wild pointer dereference causing a segfault. • Aug 19, 2026LMDeploy deserializes disaggregated-serving peer messages with pickle.CVE-2026-76850 · Other software · InternLM · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3

LMDeploy deserializes disaggregated-serving peer messages with pickle. The handle_zmq_recv coroutine in lmdeploy/pytorch/disagg/conn/engine_conn.py reads peer-to-peer cache-free requests with recv_pyobj(), which deserializes the received bytes with pickle.loads(), and the isinstance check against DistServeCacheFreeRequest runs only after deserialization has already completed. The peer that supplies those bytes is caller-controlled: p2p_connect passes remote_engine_endpoint_info.zmq_address from the request body to connect() on the ZMQ PULL socket, and the POST /distserve/p2p_initialize and /distserve/p2p_connect endpoints in lmdeploy/serve/openai/api_server.py apply no authentication unless the server is started with api_keys, which defaults to None. A remote attacker can direct an engine to pull from a ZMQ endpoint under their control and execute arbitrary code in the engine process. Deployments that do not enable disaggregated serving are not affected, because the receive loop is only started once the migration backend accepts the connection.

  • Aug 19, 2026Lemmy is a link aggregator and forum for the fediverse.CVE-2026-54743 · Other software · LemmyNet · reported by GitHubMedium 6.4

Lemmy is a link aggregator and forum for the fediverse. Prior to lemmy-ui 0.19.19-beta.1, LemmyNet/lemmy-ui renders Markdown in src/shared/markdown.ts for post bodies, comment bodies, private messages, and community and site sidebars through mdToHtml, which returns a raw __html object that Inferno injects without a sanitizer pass. setupMarkdown configures html as false but registers markdown-it-html5-embed@1.0.0 with useImageSyntax enabled, so an image targeting video media becomes a video element whose fallback incorporates the image alt text through unescaped string replacement. The html setting does not apply to plugin-generated output, allowing crafted alt text to reach the DOM as live HTML in contexts that do not use mdToHtmlNoImages. An approved member or a remote federated instance can store such content, and a viewer who renders it may execute JavaScript in the lemmy-ui origin, exposing the viewer's session and authenticated actions. The advisory notes that Content Security Policy prevents the described exploit in production, but also states that the tested default self-hosted deployment serves no Content-Security-Policy. This issue is fixed in lemmy-ui version 0.19.19-beta
