  • Sep 14, 2026The Zephyr SDIO subsystem function sdio_io_rw_extended_helper() in subsys/sd/sdio.c finishes transfers with a byte-I/O loop that uses size = MIN(remaining, funcCVE-2026-15923 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 4.6

    The Zephyr SDIO subsystem function sdio_io_rw_extended_helper() in subsys/sd/sdio.c finishes transfers with a byte-I/O loop that uses size = MIN(remaining, func->cis.max_blk_size) as the per-iteration step. The value func->cis.max_blk_size is decoded directly from the SDIO card's CIS FUNCE tuple in sdio_decode_cis() and is not validated. When a card reports a maximum block size of zero, size is always 0, remaining never decreases, and the loop spins forever. The loop is reached from the public SDIO client API used by drivers, including sdio_read_fifo(), sdio_write_fifo(), and the incrementing register read/write helpers, each of which enters the loop while holding the per-card mutex func->card->lock. A card advertising max_blk_size == 0 therefore hangs the calling thread permanently on its first non-block-aligned transfer and never releases the mutex, denying service to the SDIO peripheral (and any subsystem such as Wi-Fi that depends on it) until the device is reset. The malicious value must come from the SDIO card itself, so the defect is exploitable where a removable SDIO/combo card slot lets an attacker insert a crafted or malfunctioning card (a physical attack vector); on bo

  • Sep 13, 2026N-able Mail Assure through April 2026 contains a design-level authorization flaw that allows an authenticated SMTP user to send outbound email using MAIL FROM aCVE-2025-68624 · Other software · N-able · reported by MITREMedium 4.3

    N-able Mail Assure through April 2026 contains a design-level authorization flaw that allows an authenticated SMTP user to send outbound email using MAIL FROM addresses belonging to other tenants. When connecting to the SMTP TCP port and performing SMTP AUTH with valid credentials, the server accepts arbitrary sender domains without enforcing any domain-to-account binding. As a result, an attacker from any tenant can impersonate other tenant domains, producing messages that pass SPF and DMARC validation. NOTE: N-able's position is that the behavior is intended functionality of its shared SMTP relay architecture and that the service does not represent that it enforces per-tenant sender-domain binding.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cifs: fix loff_t underflow in cifs_remap_file_range() when len == 0 With len == 0 (clone to EOF), the effective length is computed as: len = src_inode->i_size - off; If off > i_size, this is a negative loff_t, corrupting the ByteCount in the FSCTL_DUPLICATE_EXTENTS_TO_FILE request and inverting the range in filemap_write_and_wait_range(). The existing off >= i_size check fires only after the ioctl has already been sent. Snapshot i_size_read() once for both the bounds check and the length calculation, eliminating the TOCTOU and 32-bit torn-read risk. Reject off > src_size with -EINVAL. • Sep 11, 2026The two built-in name-finder patterns exposed by opennlp.tools.namefind.RegexNameFinderFactory - DEFAULT_REGEX_NAME_FINDER.EMAIL and DEFAULT_REGEX_NAME_FINDER.UCVE-2026-82617 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgCritical 10

    The two built-in name-finder patterns exposed by opennlp.tools.namefind.RegexNameFinderFactory - DEFAULT_REGEX_NAME_FINDER.EMAIL and DEFAULT_REGEX_NAME_FINDER.URL - contain ambiguous nested quantifiers. An application that obtains these finders through RegexNameFinderFactory.getDefaultRegexNameFinders(...) and then applies them to untrusted text through RegexNameFinder.find(String[]) or RegexNameFinder.find(String) can be driven into super-linear backtracking or into unbounded matcher recursion by a small crafted input. For the EMAIL pattern, a long run of local-part characters that is never followed by an @ forces the matcher to re-scan to end-of-input from every starting offset. Cost grows quadratically with input length: an input of approximately 32 KB consumes several seconds of CPU in a single find() call and returns no match, and each doubling of the input multiplies the cost roughly four-fold. For the URL pattern, the query-string sub-expression nests a capturing repetition inside an outer repetition. The JDK matcher recurses once per query token, so an input of approximately 4 KB containing many &-separated tokens exhausts the thread stack and causes java.lang.Sta

  • Sep 11, 2026Floating Chat Widget: Contact Chat Icons, Telegram Chat, Line Messenger, WeChat, Email, SMS, Call Button – Chaty: Reflected Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-18964 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.1

    The Floating Chat Widget: Contact Chat Icons, Telegram Chat, Line Messenger, WeChat, Email, SMS, Call Button – Chaty plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 's' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.5.9 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. WordPress's server-side HTML encoding of the 's' search parameter in the <title> element is bypassed because the browser DOM API decodes HTML entities when jQuery's .text() method reads document.title, returning literal special characters that are then embedded unescaped into the constructed HTML attribute value.

    Concrete CMS below 9.5.3 stores user validation hashes for multiple purposes (email/registration validation, password reset, and persistent login) in a single table with a type column, but the redemption path resolves a hash by value alone and does not verify its type. As a result, a hash issued for one purpose can be redeemed for another: a long-lived registration hash (60-day expiry) can be submitted to the password-change endpoint to set a new password on the target account, and a password-reset hash can be submitted to the email-validation endpoint to activate an account. Exploitation requires the attacker to first obtain a valid hash through a separate channel (for example email interception, log exposure, or SSRF against an internal mail relay), so the flaw amplifies the impact of any hash disclosure rather than creating a standalone entry point. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 6.3 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. A flaw was found in PCS (Pacemaker Configuration System). A local attacker with membership in the 'haclient' group can exploit the 'pcs host auth --token' command to read the contents of arbitrary files on the filesystem, provided the files are shorter than 256 bytes. The file contents are read with root privileges by the pcsd daemon and can be exfiltrated by the attacker through subsequent cluster node communication. This allows disclosure of sensitive data such as API keys, tokens, or configuration secrets that would otherwise be inaccessible to the attacker.

  • Sep 10, 2026Path traversal vulnerability in Apache FreeMarker template loading mechanism, if the attacker can specify an arbitrary malformed locale identifier to FreeMarkerCVE-2026-84939 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgCritical 9.1

    Path traversal vulnerability in Apache FreeMarker template loading mechanism, if the attacker can specify an arbitrary malformed locale identifier to FreeMarker, and the localized lookup configuration setting is enabled (it's by default enabled). This issue affects Apache FreeMarker from 2.2.0 through 2.3.34. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.3.35. Disabling localized lookup in previous versions also mitigates this. Note that even in versions affected by this vulnerability, the files that can be loaded remain restricted by the TemplateLoader that FreeMarker is configured to use. In particular, FileTemplateLoader prevents attempts to traverse outside the baseDir specified in its constructor. Other TemplateLoader implementations may allow access outside their designated base directory, but they are still constrained by the underlying storage mechanism—for example, a loader wrapping a Java class loader can only access resources that the class loader can load, while one wrapping a web application context can only access resources available through that context.

    Snipe-IT versions before 8.7.0 fail to sanitize the category EULA text field before rendering it in checkout confirmation emails. Attackers with low-privilege permissions can inject markdown image syntax or raw HTML img tags pointing to local files or remote URLs, which the mail auto-embed library resolves server-side and returns as email attachments, exfiltrating sensitive files like .env credentials and enabling SSRF attacks.

  • Sep 9, 2026Mail Mint – Email Marketing, Newsletter, Email Automation & WooCommerce Emails: SQL InjectionCVE-2026-19800 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.9

    The Mail Mint – Email Marketing, Newsletter, Email Automation & WooCommerce Emails plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'status' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.31.0 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. The $wpdb->prepare() call does not protect against this injection because the attacker-controlled $contact_filter_query fragment is concatenated into the SQL format string before prepare() executes — prepare() only processes %s/%d placeholders and cannot sanitize content already embedded in the format string. REST API JSON bodies are parsed from php://input and bypass WordPress's wp_magic_quotes(), meaning double-quote characters in status array values reach the SQL sink unescaped. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. The required 'mint_read_contacts' capability is a plugin-specific capability not assigned to any default WordPress role; it must be explicitly granted by an

  • Sep 8, 2026FireBox – WooCommerce Popup Builder, Exit Intent Popup, Email Optin & Cart Abandonment: Remote Code ExecutionCVE-2026-76801 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

    The FireBox – WooCommerce Popup Builder, Exit Intent Popup, Email Optin & Cart Abandonment plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.10 via the value function. This is due to a trivially bypassable regex blacklist in Executer::allowedToRun() that fails to block WordPress core functions such as wp_insert_user, update_option, and file_put_contents, combined with no sanitization of PHP condition rule values stored via the firebox_meta REST endpoint. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to execute code on the server. On sites upgraded from a version prior to 3.1.10, the Migrator::preserveCampaignRoleAccess() function automatically grants the edit_fireboxes and publish_fireboxes capabilities to the Author role, lowering the effective entry point to Author-level access.

    A flaw in MongoDB's JSON Schema validation error generation code allows an authenticated user with readWrite privileges to crash the mongod server. When a BSON document containing an array with a malformed numeric field name fails a $jsonSchema items type constraint, the error generation path performs unsafe numeric conversion on the user-controlled field name without proper exception handling, resulting in an uncaught exception that terminates the server process. This is possible because incoming wire protocol BSON validation does not enforce that array element field names are valid, in-range numeric indices.

  • Sep 8, 2026A security issue exists in MongoDB server's JSON Pointer parser used during $jsonSchema query filter processing.CVE-2026-82054 · Other software · MongoDB · reported by cna@mongodb.comHigh 7.1

    A security issue exists in MongoDB server's JSON Pointer parser used during $jsonSchema query filter processing. When a find command includes a specially crafted $jsonSchema filter field, the parser processes the input without enforcing adequate limits on iteration count or total allocation size, resulting in significant memory amplification. Under concurrent request load, the cumulative memory consumption can exhaust available heap memory, causing the server's out-of-memory handler to terminate the mongod process and deny service to all connected clients.
