  • Sep 1, 2026The Master Addons for Elementor – Elementor Addons, Widgets, Mega Menu Builder, Popup Builder, Widget Builder & Template Kits plugin for WordPress is vulnerableCVE-2026-75921 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Master Addons for Elementor – Elementor Addons, Widgets, Mega Menu Builder, Popup Builder, Widget Builder & Template Kits plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.9 via the upload_template_kit function. This is due to incorrect authorization on the upload_template_kit() AJAX handler, which requires only upload_files capability instead of the manage_options required by all sibling handlers, combined with missing per-entry file type filtering after ZIP extraction. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with editor-level access and above, to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. Editors can satisfy the nonce requirement because the required nonces are localized on the standard Pages list screen, which is accessible to any user with the edit_pages capability.

  • Aug 30, 2026AVideo (current commit e01e41ecc and earlier) exposes stream credentials through the plugin/Live/view/Live_restreams/getLiveKey.json.php endpoint.CVE-2026-82645 · Other software · WWBN · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2

AVideo (current commit e01e41ecc and earlier) exposes stream credentials through the plugin/Live/view/Live_restreams/getLiveKey.json.php endpoint. Supplying a 'token' request parameter waives both the Live::canRestream() access gate and the restream ownership check, causing the endpoint to return any restream's stream_key and stream_url (credentials for external platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch) without authentication. The token is merely encryptString() of an integer id with no user binding, expiry, or authentication tag. Because encryption uses AES-256-CBC with a deterministic IV and no MAC, and because intval() accepts any string beginning with a digit, an unauthenticated attacker can forge valid tokens using the public encryption oracle in view/url2Embed.json.php, disclosing arbitrary users' stream credentials.

  • Aug 28, 2026GiveWP – Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-5510 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The GiveWP – Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'give_form' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 4.14.4. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the continue_button_title and display_style shortcode attributes, which are passed through sanitize_text_field() but not properly escaped when output in HTML data attributes. openssl_encrypt before 1.4.9 executes untrusted third-party plugins with insufficient controls: the plugin signature policy defaulted to WARN, so an unsigned/unverifiable non-built-in plugin was compiled and executed in the host process at import time, before the runtime sandbox is installed. The only default gate was an incomplete, bypassable AST denylist. If a user is induced to load an attacker's plugin, this results in arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the user running openssl_encrypt. openssl_encrypt (pip: openssl-encrypt) versions before 1.4.9 contain a path traversal flaw in PluginSandbox._is_safe_path, which authorized file access using a bare string-prefix match. A sandboxed plugin without the READ_FILES permission could read or write another plugin's directory that merely shares a name prefix (e.g., .../plugins/foobar matching allowed .../plugins/foo), breaking per-plugin isolation within the same user. openssl_encrypt (pip: openssl-encrypt) versions <= 1.4.8 use suffix-tolerant fingerprint matching in enroll_trust_key when binding a plugin-signing trust anchor. A flaw was found in the Seattle FilmWorks plugin in GIMP. When processing a specially crafted SFW image file, the plugin allocates a Variable-Length Array (VLA) on the stack without integer overflow checks, causing an unbounded stack allocation. This issue leads to an application crash, resulting in a denial of service.

  • Aug 26, 2026The Grav API plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-api) before 1.0.18 does not apply the API-key scope cap in the injectSecurityTab() function of BlueprintController whenCVE-2026-80204 · Other software · getgrav · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3

The Grav API plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-api) before 1.0.18 does not apply the API-key scope cap in the injectSecurityTab() function of BlueprintController when deciding whether a page's security/permissions blueprint section is editable. Because the function performs raw isSuperAdmin()/hasPermission() checks without a request parameter, it cannot enforce scopeAllows(). A caller holding a scoped API key may therefore see (and potentially edit) page permission fields beyond the scope granted to the key. The end-to-end write-time impact was not fully confirmed by the reporter.

The getgrav/grav-plugin-api plugin before 1.0.18 does not enforce API-key scope in the requireNotSuperTarget() function in UsersController.php across seven sensitive user-management endpoints. The check uses isSuperAdmin() on the acting account rather than verifying whether the specific API key carries super authority (via isSuperWithinScope()). As a result, an API key scoped below full super authority but belonging to a super-admin account can act against other super-admin accounts—disabling their 2FA, deleting their avatar, minting new API keys under their identity, or deleting their existing API keys.

  • Aug 25, 2026Punk::Plugin::TOTP versions before 0.05 for Perl allow the second-factor attempt limit to be reset by replaying an earlier session cookie because the challenge CVE-2026-78655 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eCritical 9.1

Punk::Plugin::TOTP versions before 0.05 for Perl allow the second-factor attempt limit to be reset by replaying an earlier session cookie because the challenge route counts failures in the session. The POST handler on challenge_path keeps the failure count as tries inside the totp_pending record in the session, raising it on each rejected code and deleting the pending record once it reaches attempts, five by default. Punk::Session carries the session in a signed cookie unless the application declares a store, and keeps no server-side record, so an earlier value of the same session stays valid until the expiry stamped inside it. A client that saves the cookie before its failed attempts and presents it again gets the pending record back with its counter, and the limit never fires. The replayed record is accepted while its own expiry, pending_ttl seconds from the challenge and 300 by default, has not passed. Sessions declared with a store are not affected: the pending record and its counter then live server-side. The attempt limit does not bound guessing of the second factor, which is left to the per-address rate limit the plugin registers on the same path, 30 requests per 60 secon

Punk::Plugin::TOTP versions before 0.05 for Perl accept another account's recovery code at the two-factor challenge because totp_use_recovery compares user identifiers numerically. The helper searches the recovery model for the submitted code's digest alone, across every user's rows, so the ownership test that follows is the only thing binding a code to the account it was issued to. That test compares the row's user_id with the challenged user's id through Perl's integer coercion, and an identifier with no leading digits coerces to zero, so any two of them compare equal. User models keyed on a username, an email address or a UUID hit that case, and a numeric key compares as intended. The challenge route feeds a submitted value to the helper once TOTP verification fails, so an attacker who knows a victim's password and holds a recovery code of their own passes the victim's second factor.

  • Aug 25, 2026A flaw was found in the file-xwd plugin in GIMP.CVE-2026-80101 · Other software · GNOME · reported by Red HatMedium 4.4

A flaw was found in the file-xwd plugin in GIMP. When processing a specially crafted XWD image file, the plugin validates the image width and bytes-per-line parameters independently rather than ensuring their combined values are consistent with the allocated buffer size. This incorrect validation leads to improper bounds checking, causing a heap out-of-bounds read. This issue can result in an application crash, leading to a denial of service or a limited information disclosure of heap memory contents into the produced image.

  • Aug 25, 2026A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability was found in galaxy_ng, the Ansible Galaxy server plugin for Pulp.CVE-2026-79717 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.4

A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability was found in galaxy_ng, the Ansible Galaxy server plugin for Pulp. An authenticated user with namespace management permissions can set a namespace avatar URL to an arbitrary address, including internal networks, loopback, or cloud instance metadata endpoints. A background worker fetches that URL without checking the destination, which lets the attacker probe internal services and enumerate reachable IP addresses. The HTTP client is also configured without an overall timeout, so a slow or non-responsive target can pin workers and cause a denial of service.
