Sep 14, 2026http4k is a functional toolkit for Kotlin HTTP applications.CVE-2026-53659 · Other software · http4k · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
http4k is a functional toolkit for Kotlin HTTP applications. Prior to 4.51.0.0, 5.42.0.0, and 6.49.0.0, ServerFilters.GZip, RequestFilters.GunZip, and the underlying Gzip request-body decompression functions impose no limit on decompressed size. An unauthenticated client can send a small gzip-encoded request body that expands to gigabytes, exhausting the JVM heap and denying service to other clients. The fix uses SizeLimitedInputStream to enforce a default 10 MiB limit, causes ServerFilters.GZip and RequestFilters.GunZip to return 413 Request Entity Too Large, and causes other decompression paths to throw SizeLimitExceededException. This issue is fixed in versions 4.51.0.0, 5.42.0.0, and 6.49.0.0.

Sep 14, 2026Description Three separate mechanisms allowed a web page on an unrelated origin to read responses that Storm's HTTP components served to an authenticated user.CVE-2026-82438 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 8.1
Description Three separate mechanisms allowed a web page on an unrelated origin to read responses that Storm's HTTP components served to an authenticated user. The Logviewer reflected the request's `Origin` header back in `Access-Control-Allow-Origin` while also sending `Access-Control-Allow-Credentials: true`. The published security model documents a permissive `Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *` posture as accepted, which is safe precisely because browsers refuse to honour `*` together with credentials; reflecting the concrete origin removes that protection. The shared CORS filter used by the UI, the Logviewer and DRPC was configured with a response header name where an initialisation parameter name was expected. The container ignored the setting and applied its own defaults, which allow credentials. Finally, the UI and Logviewer wrapped API responses in a caller-supplied JSONP callback for every GET request. A script element on any origin can load such a response, which bypasses the same-origin policy entirely rather than negotiating it, and there was no way to turn the behaviour off. In each case the effect is that a page visited by an authenticated operator can read cluster,

Sep 14, 2026File Browser versions >= 2.5.0 and <= 2.63.23 contain an incorrect authorization flaw in the direct-upload endpoint (resourcePostHandler in http/resource.go).CVE-2026-90929 · Other software · filebrowser · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.2
File Browser versions >= 2.5.0 and <= 2.63.23 contain an incorrect authorization flaw in the direct-upload endpoint (resourcePostHandler in http/resource.go). Unlike the TUS upload handler, the direct-upload handler does not reject a target that is an existing directory; a POST with ?override=true aimed at a directory fails inside writeFile (a directory cannot be opened for writing) and the failure-cleanup path then calls Fs.RemoveAll on the request path, recursively deleting the entire tree. This cleanup is gated by neither the Perm.Delete permission nor the checkDescendants rule walk applied by the delete and patch handlers, so an authenticated non-administrator holding only the default Create and Modify permissions can delete directories they are not authorized to delete, including rule-denied files within them. Deletion remains confined to the user's scope because ScopedFs.RemoveAll still enforces the scope guard. The faulty cleanup was introduced in v2.5.0; no patched version is available.

Sep 14, 2026In OpenStack Glance before 32.0.1, the location API does not validate destination hosts when adding an HTTP location to an image.CVE-2026-71198 · Other software · OpenStack · reported by MITREHigh 7
In OpenStack Glance before 32.0.1, the location API does not validate destination hosts when adding an HTTP location to an image. Unlike the web-download import path, the location API only checks the URL scheme and does not apply the import_filtering_opts host restrictions. An authenticated user can add a location pointing to internal endpoints such as the cloud metadata service (169.254.169.254), and retrieve the response by downloading the image data. This affects both the new POST /v2/images/{id}/locations API and the old PATCH API when show_multiple_locations is enabled. Deployments with the HTTP store backend enabled are affected.

A prior update that raised a bundled HTTP client library to a version remediating known vulnerabilities was later reverted, reintroducing the earlier, vulnerable version into a log-processing component. Sep 11, 2026morgan is an HTTP request logger middleware for Node.js.CVE-2026-87859 · Other software · morgan · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbMedium 5.3
morgan is an HTTP request logger middleware for Node.js. In versions before 1.12.1, its escapeLogField() function does not escape the double quote character, which delimits the quoted fields of the Apache combined log format that morgan emits. An unauthenticated remote attacker who controls a value written to a quoted field, such as the User-Agent or Referer header, can include a double quote to close that field early, so a log consumer that parses the log by field position reads attacker-supplied text as the following field. In the built-in formats this makes the recorded value differ from the value that was sent, and in custom formats that quote an attacker-controlled token before a server-controlled one it can forge values such as the response status. No newline is injected, so record separation stays intact. The issue is fixed in morgan 1.12.1, which escapes the double quote. Users should upgrade to morgan 1.12.1 or later.

Sep 10, 2026Traefik is an open source HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer.CVE-2026-88012 · Other software · traefik · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Traefik is an open source HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. From 2.8.2 until 2.11.56 and 3.7.12, HTTP/3 entrypoints do not apply entryPoints..transport.respondingTimeouts.readTimeout because the timeout is enforced on a TCP connection and the HTTP/3 server has no corresponding QUIC stream deadline. Sep 10, 2026Traefik is an open source HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer.CVE-2026-88011 · Other software · traefik · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Traefik is an open source HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. Prior to 2.11.56, and from 3.0.0 until 3.7.12, a client-supplied dot-form header such as X.Authenticated.User survives ForwardAuth replacement and underscoreHeadersStrategy because Go treats it as distinct from X-Authenticated-User while normalization-prone CGI, WSGI, PHP, and NGINX backends collapse both names. A backend can consequently consume the client value instead of the identity Traefik asserted, allowing identity spoofing for any header managed by Traefik. The aliasHeadersStrategy protection is disabled by default and must be configured as delete or reject. The mitigation is available in 2.11.56 and 3.7.12.

Traefik is an open source HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. Prior to 2.11.57, and 3.7.13, Traefik accepts a rootless HTTP/1 request target that Go stores in URL.Opaque while leaving URL.Path empty. The rewriteRequestBuilder path evaluates routing, path sanitization, forwardAuth, encodedCharacters, and access logging against a path normalized to / but forwards URL.Opaque verbatim to the backend, allowing cross-vhost routing bypass, path-scoped authorization bypass, and access-log evasion when the backend interprets the opaque target as a path. This issue is fixed in 2.11.57 and 3.7.13.

Sep 10, 2026Traefik is an open source HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer.CVE-2026-88008 · Other software · traefik · reported by GitHubHigh 7
Traefik is an open source HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. From 2.11.26 until 2.11.57 and 3.7.13, Traefik forwards a client-supplied Connection header requesting Upgrade, the Upgrade: h2c token, and HTTP2-Settings to a shared backend. If the backend accepts h2c and returns 101 Switching Protocols, Traefik enters a raw tunnel and no longer applies routers, BasicAuth, ForwardAuth, IPAllowList, RateLimit, access logging, metrics, or tracing to later HTTP/2 requests, allowing an unauthenticated request through an unprotected route to reach protected paths on the same backend. Sep 10, 2026Traefik is an open source HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer.CVE-2026-88007 · Other software · traefik · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1
Traefik is an open source HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. From 2.11.0 until 2.11.57 and 3.7.13, the HTTP/3 entrypoint ConnContext does not call service.AddTransportOnContext, so kerberosRoundTripper uses a shared backend transport instead of a transport dedicated to each frontend connection. Sep 10, 2026Traefik is an open source HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer.CVE-2026-88004 · Other software · traefik · reported by GitHubHigh 7
Traefik is an open source HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. From 3.2.0 until 3.7.13, Traefik entrypoint defenses aliasHeadersStrategy, underscoreHeadersStrategy, and forwardedHeaders inspect req.Header but not req.Trailer, allowing an unauthenticated client to submit an aliasing or trusted header name in an HTTP/1.1 chunked trailer or an HTTP/2 trailer. When the retry or buffering middleware reads the body before the reverse proxy clones the request, the attacker-controlled trailer value reaches a backend that merges trailers into the header namespace, bypassing the documented delete or reject behavior and potentially spoofing identity or forwarded routing data. Sep 10, 2026Renovate, a dependency update tool, follows pagination links supplied by the GitHub server in the HTTP `Link` header when interacting with GitHub.com, GitHub EnCVE-2026-88881 · Other software · renovatebot · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2
Renovate, a dependency update tool, follows pagination links supplied by the GitHub server in the HTTP `Link` header when interacting with GitHub.com, GitHub Enterprise Cloud, or GitHub Enterprise Server, and sends the credentials configured for that host to the URL given as the 'next' page. Because the pagination URL is not validated against the host originally contacted, a malicious or compromised GitHub server can return a `Link` header pointing to an attacker-controlled host and cause Renovate to disclose those credentials to it. Exploitation requires that the GitHub server Renovate talks to (as the repository host or as a datasource such as github-releases, github-tags, or git-refs) is already malicious or compromised. The issue is fixed in renovate 44.11.3 (npm and renovate/renovate container images), Mend Renovate CE/EE images and the mend-renovate-ce helm chart 15.4.0, and the mend-renovate-enterprise-edition helm chart 10.4.0. There is no workaround; the pre-existing RENOVATE_X_REBASE_PAGINATION_LINKS option disables the new host check and should only be used with servers that intentionally use different pagination hosts.

Sep 10, 2026Traefik is an HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer.CVE-2026-88879 · Other software · traefik · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3
Traefik is an HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. In Traefik v1.x, v2.x through v2.11.55, and v3.0.0 through v3.7.11, header names are canonicalized only on dashes, so X-Auth-User, X_Auth_User and X.Auth.User are treated as three distinct headers by Traefik, while backends that derive variable names from header names (CGI, WSGI, PHP, NGINX and others) collapse them into a single variable. A client can therefore smuggle a dot-form alias of a header that Traefik manages past the middleware managing it — for example supplying X.Authenticated.User alongside the canonical X-Authenticated-User written by the ForwardAuth middleware — causing such a backend to read the client-supplied value instead of the identity Traefik asserted. In the tested configuration (PHP 8.2 built-in SAPI over an HTTP/1 backend path), Go's lexical header ordering makes the attacker-supplied value win deterministically, so a client that ForwardAuth admits as a low-privilege identity can be treated by the backend as a different user or role. Any header Traefik sets is affected, not only ForwardAuth's. This is an incomplete fix for GHSA-x677-9fxg-v5c5, which blocked only the underscore form. Fixed in v2.11.56 and

Sep 10, 2026Traefik is an HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer.CVE-2026-88878 · Other software · traefik · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9
Traefik is an HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. In versions >= v2.8.2 through <= v2.11.55 and >= v3.0.0 through <= v3.7.11, the entryPoints.<name>.transport.respondingTimeouts settings — notably readTimeout, which is enabled by default at 60s — are not applied to the HTTP/3 request path. readTimeout is enforced as a deadline on the underlying TCP connection, which cannot be applied to a QUIC stream, and Traefik's HTTP/3 server is constructed without any timeout. As a result, on entry points with HTTP/3 enabled, an unauthenticated remote client that trickles request body bytes can hold a request open indefinitely and, with it, one upstream connection per request, exhausting bounded backend connection pools and causing denial of service. The issue was introduced in v2.8.2 when a quic-go API change removed the embedded http.Server that carried these timeouts. Fixed in v2.11.56 and v3.7.12.

Sep 10, 2026Traefik is a HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer.CVE-2026-88877 · Other software · traefik · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3
Traefik is a HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. In versions >= v3.7.0 and <= v3.7.11, the Kubernetes ingress-nginx provider mishandles Ingresses that carry both an authentication annotation and the nginx.ingress.kubernetes.io/from-to-www-redirect annotation. For such Ingresses the provider creates an additional 'sibling' router that matches on the host alone, carries only the RedirectRegex middleware, and still points at the parent router's protected backend service. Because RedirectRegex is not a terminal handler, a request its pattern does not match is forwarded to the backend, and because the redirect pattern only accepts a numeric port while Traefik's host matcher canonicalizes the authority via net.SplitHostPort, a request with a non-numeric or empty port (for example 'Host: www.example.com:x') selects the sibling router, misses the redirect, and is proxied to the protected backend with none of the Ingress's annotation-derived middlewares applied. This discards not only authentication (e.g. BasicAuth) but every annotation-derived middleware, including source-IP allowlisting. Traefik v2 and v3 releases before v3.7.0 are not affected. The issue is fixed in v3.7.12.

Sep 10, 2026cookies is a Node.js library for reading and writing HTTP cookies, used by Koa via ctx.cookies.CVE-2026-88038 · Other software · cookies · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbMedium 4.8
cookies is a Node.js library for reading and writing HTTP cookies, used by Koa via ctx.cookies. In versions before 0.9.2 the library validates the cookie name and value against character sets that reject the semicolon separator, but the domain and path options are checked only against a permissive RFC 7230 field-content matcher that allows semicolons, and both are written into the Set-Cookie header unescaped. An application that passes untrusted or request-derived data into the domain or path option can therefore inject additional cookie attributes, overriding SameSite, Secure, HttpOnly, or Domain on the cookies the application issues. This is a Set-Cookie attribute injection issue (CWE-74). The issue is fixed in cookies 0.9.2, which validates domain and path against RFC 6265 character sets. As a workaround, keep domain and path application-set rather than derived from untrusted input.

Sep 8, 2026DeepSeek Harness before 0.1.2-alpha.1 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that grants unauthenticated access to its local HTTP agent-control API by CVE-2026-82533 · Other software · DeepSeek · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.4
DeepSeek Harness before 0.1.2-alpha.1 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that grants unauthenticated access to its local HTTP agent-control API by accepting a client-supplied loopback Host header in place of validating the actual TCP connection origin. On the default configuration, a confined tool-executed process can reach the loopback API without any port exposure and use it to escape its own OS sandbox, escalate to unconfined execution, and disable the approval prompt. When the port is externally reachable via tunnel, SSH forward, or reverse proxy, a remote attacker can exploit the same flaw to create sessions, execute arbitrary commands, and exfiltrate stored conversation transcripts without credentials.

Sep 8, 2026A client may issue specially crafted HTTP/1.1 chunked requests to a Jetty server that cause Jetty and an intermediary proxy to interpret different request boundCVE-2026-19203 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgHigh 8.3
A client may issue specially crafted HTTP/1.1 chunked requests to a Jetty server that cause Jetty and an intermediary proxy to interpret different request boundaries, potentially resulting in HTTP request smuggling. This is caused by Jetty accepting a lone LF character as a terminator in parts of chunked request parsing. Depending on the Jetty version and configured HTTP compliance mode, this may occur in chunk extensions, chunk data termination, or trailer termination.

Sep 8, 2026A client may issue HTTP/2 requests to a Jetty server that result in blocking writes that are never unblocked, eventually causing all threads to be blocked and tCVE-2026-12611 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgHigh 8.7
A client may issue HTTP/2 requests to a Jetty server that result in blocking writes that are never unblocked, eventually causing all threads to be blocked and the whole server to become unresponsive. This is caused by a race condition in the server when handling RST_STREAM frames and GOAWAY frames sent by the client. The race condition "resets" the HTTP2Flusher.terminated, previously set to a non-null value, to the null value, allowing entries to be enqueued in the flusher that however will never be processed. These unprocessed entries are the ones that would unblock the write-blocked threads.

Sep 7, 2026Use of Cache Containing Sensitive Information vulnerability in ash-project ash_authentication_oauth2_server allows a shared HTTP cache to serve one tenant's OAuCVE-2026-82755 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.3
Use of Cache Containing Sensitive Information vulnerability in ash-project ash_authentication_oauth2_server allows a shared HTTP cache to serve one tenant's OAuth discovery metadata to another tenant's clients. The RFC 8414 and RFC 9728 metadata endpoints in AshAuthentication.Phoenix.Oauth2Server.ProtocolRouter return tenant-specific values (issuer, authorization_endpoint, token_endpoint, jwks_uri) when a tenant is set, but sent them with Cache-Control: public, max-age=3600 and no Vary. When the tenant is derived from something other than the URL (a header or the Host) and a shared cache sits in front, the cache key is the URL alone, so a stored response for one tenant is served to another for up to an hour. Affected clients may then send authorization codes and secrets to the wrong tenant's token endpoint and validate tokens against the wrong keys. This issue affects ash_authentication_oauth2_server: from 0.1.3 before 0.3.1.

Sep 7, 2026Protocol::HTTP2 versions before 1.14 for Perl allow memory exhaustion via closed streams that stream_state never removes from the connection stream table.CVE-2026-16028 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eHigh 7.5
Protocol::HTTP2 versions before 1.14 for Perl allow memory exhaustion via closed streams that stream_state never removes from the connection stream table. When a stream reaches the CLOSED state, stream_state returns the concurrency slot and clears most of the stream's keys, but the entry itself stays in the connection stream table and nothing in the distribution removes it. Stream identifiers increase monotonically, so a peer can open and close streams on one connection indefinitely, each close leaving a residual entry that is retained for the life of the connection. SETTINGS_MAX_CONCURRENT_STREAMS does not bound this. That setting caps how many streams are live at once and is enforced, while the growth is made of streams the cap has already released, so it accumulates with concurrency never exceeding one. The client keeps the same table and grows the same way against a hostile server. Measured against a server built on this module, roughly 920 bytes are retained per closed stream for about 19 bytes on the wire, so 100,000 sequential streams on one connection grow server resident memory by about 88 MiB. The streams are ordinary requests that the application accepts and completes

Sep 7, 2026Affected versions of MISP contain insufficient validation of server-side outbound HTTP destinations in feed retrieval and TAXII discovery functionality.CVE-2026-86419 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 7
Affected versions of MISP contain insufficient validation of server-side outbound HTTP destinations in feed retrieval and TAXII discovery functionality. In feed processing, redirects were followed without validating the redirect scheme or destination. The original request headers were reused across redirect hops, meaning authentication headers or API credentials configured for a feed could be forwarded to a different host. Redirects could also target internal network resources, resulting in SSRF. The fix adds redirect validation, blocks internal destinations for cross-host redirects, strips configured feed credentials before following redirects to another host, and pins validated DNS results to prevent re-resolution after validation. The TAXII discovery endpoint had a related incomplete SSRF defense. It used gethostbyname() and compared the result against only a few literal addresses. This missed cases including IPv6 loopback (::1), numeric host encodings such as 0x7f000001, and potentially multiple DNS records. The fix moves TAXII discovery to the shared URL egress validator. Together, these commits harden MISP's outbound URL handling against alternate-address representation

Sep 6, 2026Bifrost HTTP transport before 2.0.0 accepts an enabled custom plugin whose path is an HTTP URL through unauthenticated POST /api/plugins when management authentCVE-2026-86242 · Other software · maximhq · reported by reefs@jfrog.comHigh 8.1
Bifrost HTTP transport before 2.0.0 accepts an enabled custom plugin whose path is an HTTP URL through unauthenticated POST /api/plugins when management authentication is disabled (the default, governance.auth_config.is_enabled=false). The shared-object loader treats an http-prefixed path as a download URL, writes the body to a temporary .so, and passes it to Go's plugin.Open. After a successful open, optional Init runs immediately with the supplied config as the Bifrost process user. On documented dynamically linked builds (DYNAMIC=1 / no static-link flags), which the vendor requires for custom Go plugins, plugin.Open is expected to succeed and this is unauthenticated remote code execution. On the published statically linked Docker image, plugin.Open fails with Dynamic loading not supported, so that build class is only server-side request forgery. Attack complexity is High because the attacker cannot force RCE on the default static image and a loadable plugin must match the host Go version, OS, architecture, and linkage. The 1.6.x HTTP transport line through 1.6.11 does not contain the fix.

ILIAS before versions 9.22, 10.10, and 11.3 contains a SQL injection vulnerability in the repository trash table where the table navigation sort field from HTTP requests is passed directly into the ORDER BY clause of a SQL query without validation against declared sortable columns.
