Aug 5, 2026Issue summary: A malicious TLS server can cause a memory leak in a TLS client that has enabled OCSP response checking by sending an OCSP response that contains CVE-2026-54876 · Websites & servers · OpenSSL · reported by openssl-security@openssl.orgHigh 7.5
Issue summary: A malicious TLS server can cause a memory leak in a TLS client that has enabled OCSP response checking by sending an OCSP response that contains no single response entries. Impact summary: An attacker can leak an attacker-tunable amount of memory per TLS handshake in a victim client application. A long-running client that repeatedly connects to a malicious server can have its memory exhausted, resulting in a Denial of Service. CWE: CWE-401: Missing Release of Memory after Effective Lifetime Description: The affected function is called during X.509 certificate chain verification when OCSP response checking is enabled with the X509_V_FLAG_OCSP_RESP_CHECK or X509_V_FLAG_OCSP_RESP_CHECK_ALL verification flags, for example when a TLS client verifies an OCSP response stapled into the TLS handshake by the server. When the received BasicOCSPResponse contains an empty SEQUENCE OF SingleResponse, which is permitted on the wire and accepted by the OpenSSL decoder, the OCSP_BASICRESP structure allocated by OCSP_response_get1_basic() was not freed because an early return bypassed the cleanup code at the end of the function. The amount of memory leaked per handshake can be am

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gtp: check skb_pull_data() return in gtp1u_send_echo_resp() gtp1u_send_echo_resp() ignores skb_pull_data()'s return value. Its caller gtp1u_udp_encap_recv() only guarantees 16 bytes (udphdr + gtp1_header), but the pull requests 20 (gtp1_header_long + udphdr). For a 16-19 byte echo request the pull fails and returns NULL without advancing skb->data; execution continues, and the following skb_push() plus the IP header pushed by iptunnel_xmit() move skb->data below skb->head, tripping skb_under_panic(). Fix it by dropping the packet when skb_pull_data() fails. skbuff: skb_under_panic: ... kernel BUG at net/core/skbuff.c:214! Jul 31, 2026SendPulse Email Marketing Newsletter: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-13362 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The SendPulse Email Marketing Newsletter plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via _sp_form_code Post Meta in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the attacker to create a sendpulse_form post containing a benign SendPulse loader script tag alongside arbitrary HTML (e.g., an img onerror payload), which bypasses the allow-list check and executes in the browser of any user — including administrators — who previews or views a page rendering the [sendpulse-form] shortcode.

TinyWeb through 0.0.8 contains a null pointer dereference vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to crash worker processes by sending a malformed HTTP request line with an invalid version string. The HttpParser::execute() function fails to allocate the Url object when version parsing fails, leaving the url pointer NULL, and buildResponse() subsequently dereferences this NULL pointer without checking the valid_requ flag, producing a SIGSEGV that terminates the worker process and, when repeated across all workers, takes the server permanently offline until manually restarted.

TinyWeb through 0.0.8 contains a memory leak vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to exhaust available memory by sending ordinary well-formed HTTP requests. Each request causes HttpParser::execute() to allocate Url objects, HttpHeaders objects, and HttpHeader instances via raw new expressions that are never freed due to missing destructors and unreachable delete calls, causing worker resident memory to grow monotonically by approximately 20 to 28 kB per request until the worker process is killed.

tiny-http through 0.12.0 contains an HTTP request smuggling vulnerability that allows remote attackers to desynchronize request framing by sending a Transfer-Encoding header with any value, including non-chunked codings, which causes the library to unconditionally apply chunk-decoding and discard Content-Length. Attackers can exploit the discrepancy between tiny_http's improper Transfer-Encoding parsing and a correctly-implemented front-end proxy to produce two distinct interpretations of a single byte stream, enabling request smuggling, and can additionally send non-chunked bodies with non-chunked Transfer-Encoding values to cause failed body reads that tie up connections and consume worker threads without signaling errors to clients.

Jul 27, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: bpa10x: avoid OOB read of revision string in bpa10x_setup() bpa10x_setup() sendCVE-2026-64549 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: bpa10x: avoid OOB read of revision string in bpa10x_setup() bpa10x_setup() sends the vendor command 0xfc0e and passes the response to bt_dev_info() and hci_set_fw_info() as a "%s" string starting at skb->data + 1, without checking the length: bt_dev_info(hdev, "%s", (char *)(skb->data + 1)); hci_set_fw_info(hdev, "%s", skb->data + 1); A device that returns a one-byte response (status only) leaves skb->data + 1 past the end of the data, and the %s walk reads adjacent slab memory until it meets a NUL. The same happens when the payload is not NUL-terminated within skb->len. The out-of-bounds bytes end up in the kernel log and the firmware-info debugfs file. Print the revision string with a bounded "%.*s" limited to skb->len - 1 instead. This keeps the string readable for well-behaved devices while never reading past the received data, and does not fail setup, so a device returning a short or unterminated response keeps working.

Jul 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse: clear intr_entry in fuse_resend and fuse_remove_pending_req When fuse_resend() movesCVE-2026-64265 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse: clear intr_entry in fuse_resend and fuse_remove_pending_req When fuse_resend() moves a request from fpq->processing back to fiq->pending, it sets FR_PENDING and clears FR_SENT but does not remove the requests intr_entry from fiq->interrupts. If the request had FR_INTERRUPTED set from a prior signal, intr_entry remains dangling on fiq->interrupts. When the requesting task then receives a fatal signal, fuse_remove_pending_req() sees FR_PENDING=1, removes the request from fiq->pending and frees it via the refcount path, also without cleaning intr_entry. The stale intr_entry causes use-after-free when fuse_read_interrupt() iterates fiq->interrupts: - list_del_init(&req->intr_entry) -> UAF write on freed slab - req->in.h.unique -> UAF read, data leaked to userspace Remove intr_entry from fiq->interrupts in fuse_resend() for interrupted requests before they are placed back on fiq->pending. Add a WARN_ON if the intr_entry is not empty on request destruction.

Jul 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: MIPS: smp: report dying CPU to RCU in stop_this_cpu() smp_send_stop() parks all secondary CVE-2026-64248 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: MIPS: smp: report dying CPU to RCU in stop_this_cpu() smp_send_stop() parks all secondary CPUs in stop_this_cpu(). The function marks the CPU offline for the scheduler via set_cpu_online(false) but never informs RCU, so RCU keeps expecting a quiescent state from CPUs that are now spinning forever with interrupts disabled. As long as nothing waits for an RCU grace period after smp_send_stop() this is harmless, which is why it went unnoticed. Since commit 91840be8f710 ("irq_work: Fix use-after-free in irq_work_single() on PREEMPT_RT") however, irq_work_sync() calls synchronize_rcu() on architectures without an irq_work self-IPI, i.e. where arch_irq_work_has_interrupt() returns false. That is the asm-generic default used by MIPS. Any irq_work_sync() issued in the reboot/shutdown path after smp_send_stop() then blocks on a grace period that can never complete, hanging the reboot: WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 15 at kernel/irq_work.c:144 irq_work_queue_on ... rcu: INFO: rcu_sched detected stalls on CPUs/tasks: rcu: Offline CPU 1 blocking current GP. rcu: Offline CPU 2 blocking current GP. rcu: Offline CPU 3 block

Jul 20, 2026In nanomq versions 0.24.11 and earlier, a NULL pointer dereference in `properties_parse()` allows an authenticated attacker to crash the NanoMQ broker by sendinCVE-2026-47276 · Other software · nanomq · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
In nanomq versions 0.24.11 and earlier, a NULL pointer dereference in `properties_parse()` allows an authenticated attacker to crash the NanoMQ broker by sending a POST request to `/api/v4/mqtt/publish` with `user_properties` as a JSON array instead of a JSON object. The crash occurs because `strlen()` is called on a NULL `item->string` pointer when iterating over array elements. An authenticated attacker can exploit this to crash the NanoMQ broker process. This is patched in version 0.24.14.

Jul 20, 2026WhatsApp MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for WhatsApp, enabling Claude to read and send WhatsApp messages.CVE-2026-46555 · Other software · verygoodplugins · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7
WhatsApp MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for WhatsApp, enabling Claude to read and send WhatsApp messages. Prior to version 0.2.1, the `whatsapp-bridge` HTTP API listens on `127.0.0.1:8080` without authentication and without Host header validation, and the `/api/send` endpoint accepts an absolute `media_path` parameter without confining it to a safe directory. Combined, these issues allow any local process running as the same user as the bridge to send WhatsApp messages from the paired account without authorization; the same caller to read arbitrary files readable by the user (e.g. SSH private keys, browser session data, source code, dotfiles) and exfiltrate them as WhatsApp document attachments; and/or a remote attacker to trigger the same operations via DNS rebinding from a webpage the user visits, since no Host header validation is performed. In MCP environments, "local caller" extends beyond processes the user explicitly launched — sibling MCP servers, IDE extensions, and tool-triggered flows running in the user's session can act as the effective caller. This issue is fixed in whatsapp-mcp v0.2.1 and corresponding Docker images / release artifacts. Users sho

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: ecred_reconfigure: send packed pdu, not stack pointer Commit 1c08108f3014 ("Bluetooth: L2CAP: Avoid -Wflex-array-member-not-at-end warnings") converted the on-stack request PDU in l2cap_ecred_reconfigure() from an explicit packed struct to DEFINE_RAW_FLEX(), but did not adjust the size and source-pointer arguments to l2cap_send_cmd(): - struct { - struct l2cap_ecred_reconf_req req; - __le16 scid; - } pdu; + DEFINE_RAW_FLEX(struct l2cap_ecred_reconf_req, pdu, scid, 1); ... l2cap_send_cmd(conn, chan->ident, L2CAP_ECRED_RECONF_REQ, sizeof(pdu), &pdu); After the conversion, DEFINE_RAW_FLEX() expands to declare an anonymous union pdu_u plus a local pointer "pdu" pointing at it. Therefore: - sizeof(pdu) is now sizeof(struct l2cap_ecred_reconf_req *) = 8 on 64-bit (4 on 32-bit), not the 6 bytes of (mtu, mps, scid[1]). - &pdu is the address of the local pointer's stack storage, not the address of the request payload. l2cap_send_cmd() forwards (data, count) to l2cap_build_cmd(), which calls skb_put_data(skb, data

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: raw: reject IP_HDRINCL packets with ihl < 5 raw_send_hdrinc() validates that the caller-supplied IPv4 header fits within the message length: iphlen = iph->ihl * 4; err = -EINVAL; if (iphlen > length) goto error_free; if (iphlen >= sizeof(*iph)) { /* fix up saddr, tot_len, id, csum, transport_header */ } It does not, however, reject ihl < 5. For such a packet the "if (iphlen >= sizeof(*iph))" branch is skipped, leaving the crafted iphdr untouched, but the packet is still handed to __ip_local_out() and onward. Downstream consumers that read iph->ihl assume a sane value: net/ipv4/ah4.c:ah_output() in particular subtracts sizeof(struct iphdr) from top_iph->ihl * 4 and passes the (signed-int-negative, then cast to size_t) result to memcpy(), producing an OOB access of length close to SIZE_MAX and a host kernel panic. An IPv4 header with ihl < 5 is malformed by definition (RFC 791: "Internet Header Length is the length of the internet header in 32 bit words ... Note that the minimum value for a correct header is 5."). The kernel should not be willing to inject such a pac

Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: tp_meter: directly shut down timer on cleanup batadv_tp_sender_cleanup() was cCVE-2026-64093 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: tp_meter: directly shut down timer on cleanup batadv_tp_sender_cleanup() was calling timer_delete_sync() followed by timer_delete() to guard against the timer handler re-arming itself between the two calls. This double-deletion hack relied on the sending status being set to 0 to suppress re-arming. Replace both calls with a single timer_shutdown_sync(). This function both waits for any running timer callback to complete (like timer_delete_sync()) and permanently disarms the timer so it cannot be re-armed afterwards, making re-arming prevention unconditional and self-documenting. The re-arming property is also required because otherwise: 1. context 0 (batadv_tp_recv_ack()) checks in batadv_tp_reset_sender_timer() if sending is still 1 -> it is 2. context 1 changes in batadv_tp_sender_shutdown() sending to 0 and in this process forces the kthread to stop timer in batadv_tp_sender_cleanup() 3. context 0 continues in batadv_tp_reset_sender_timer() and rearms the timer -> but the reference for it is already gone

Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vsock/virtio: bind uarg before filling zerocopy skb virtio_transport_send_pkt_info() allocCVE-2026-63970 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vsock/virtio: bind uarg before filling zerocopy skb virtio_transport_send_pkt_info() allocates or reuses the zerocopy uarg before entering the send loop, but virtio_transport_alloc_skb() still fills the skb before it inherits that uarg. When fixed-buffer vectored zerocopy hits MAX_SKB_FRAGS, io_sg_from_iter() may partially attach managed frags and return -EMSGSIZE. The rollback path call kfree_skb() to free an skb that carries SKBFL_MANAGED_FRAG_REFS but no uarg, so skb_release_data() falls through to ordinary frag unref. Pass the uarg into virtio_transport_alloc_skb() and bind it immediately before virtio_transport_fill_skb(). This keeps control or no-payload skbs untouched while ensuring success and rollback share one lifetime rule.

Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: route MIGRATE notifications to caller's netns xfrm_send_migrate() in net/xfrm/xfrm_uCVE-2026-63914 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.3
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: route MIGRATE notifications to caller's netns xfrm_send_migrate() in net/xfrm/xfrm_user.c and pfkey_send_migrate() in net/key/af_key.c both hardcode &init_net for the multicast that announces a successful XFRM_MSG_MIGRATE / SADB_X_MIGRATE. XFRM_MSG_MIGRATE arrives on a per-netns NETLINK_XFRM socket, and the rest of the xfrm/af_key netlink path was made netns-aware in 2008. The other 14 multicast paths in xfrm_user.c route their event using xs_net(x), xp_net(xp) or sock_net(skb->sk); only the migrate path was missed. Two consequences of the init_net hardcoding: 1. The notification (selector, old/new endpoint addresses, and the km_address) is delivered to listeners on init_net's XFRMNLGRP_MIGRATE / pfkey BROADCAST_ALL groups rather than on the issuing netns. An IKE daemon running in init_net therefore receives migration notifications originating from any other netns on the host. 2. An IKE daemon running inside a non-init netns and subscribed to its own XFRMNLGRP_MIGRATE / pfkey groups never receives the notification of its own migration. IKEv2 MOBIKE / address-update

Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: apparmor: mediate the implicit connect of TCP fast open sendmsg sendmsg()/sendto() with MSCVE-2026-63828 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.4
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: apparmor: mediate the implicit connect of TCP fast open sendmsg sendmsg()/sendto() with MSG_FASTOPEN is a combination of connect(2) and write(2): it opens the connection in the SYN. apparmor_socket_sendmsg() only checks AA_MAY_SEND, so a profile that grants send but denies connect lets a confined task open an outbound TCP/MPTCP connection that connect(2) would have refused, bypassing connect mediation. Mediate the implicit connect when MSG_FASTOPEN is set and a destination is supplied. Add it to apparmor_socket_sendmsg() (not the shared aa_sock_msg_perm() helper, which recvmsg also uses) and call aa_sk_perm() directly, mirroring the selinux and tomoyo fixes. sk_is_tcp() does not cover MPTCP fast open, so the SOCK_STREAM/IPPROTO_MPTCP arm is explicit.

Jul 18, 2026Stoat for Android exports the chat.stoat.activities.ShareTargetActivity component (reachable to any process on the device via the android.intent.action.SEND intCVE-2026-57848 · Other software · stoatchat · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.8
Stoat for Android exports the chat.stoat.activities.ShareTargetActivity component (reachable to any process on the device via the android.intent.action.SEND intent) and accepts the file to share as a URI supplied through the android.intent.extra.STREAM extra. The activity does not validate or filter the incoming URI before using it as the outgoing attachment, so a caller can pass a file:// URI pointing at the application's own internal storage (for example /data/data/chat.revolt/databases/revolt.db, cached authentication token files, or preferences) and have the app treat that internal file as a user-selected attachment. An attacker who can invoke intents on the victim's device (via ADB access, a co-installed malicious application, or any other route that reaches Android's intent dispatch) can launch ShareTargetActivity with such a URI and cause the victim, on a single channel-selection interaction, to send the internal file to any Stoat channel or user of the attacker's choosing. The composer displays the attachment as \"attachment\" with no filename indication, so the victim has no visible signal that the file being sent is their own internal application data. Consequences includ
