vm2 versions 3.11.3 through 3.11.6 expose the host process's real https.globalAgent to sandboxed code when a NodeVM is explicitly configured to allow require('https'). The builtin loader wraps host modules in a read-only proxy, but method calls such as Agent.prototype.on() are forwarded to the underlying host object, so sandbox code can register a listener for the agent's 'free' event. When an unrelated host HTTPS request releases a pooled connection, the listener receives the live host request options and the host TLSSocket, allowing sandboxed code to read the host's Authorization header and private destination host/port, attach a data listener to the released socket and read subsequent host response bodies in plaintext, and issue attacker-chosen authenticated requests using the stolen credentials. The issue is fixed in 3.11.7.

  • Sep 17, 2026vm2 3.11.3 through 3.11.6 exposes the host Node.js crypto module to a NodeVM sandbox when the crypto builtin is allowed.CVE-2026-92939 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.4

vm2 3.11.3 through 3.11.6 exposes the host Node.js crypto module to a NodeVM sandbox when the crypto builtin is allowed. The module is presented via a recursive read-only proxy, but its callable exports still execute with host-process authority. Sandboxed JavaScript can therefore call crypto.setEngine() with a filesystem path to an attacker-supplied native library (for example, one bundled in an untrusted plugin package already written to disk); OpenSSL asks the operating-system dynamic loader to load the file, and the library's constructor executes native code in the host process before engine-symbol validation rejects it. Exploitation requires only the crypto builtin and does not require fs, process, module, child_process, worker_threads, vm, or inspector access, resulting in a sandbox escape and arbitrary native code execution. Fixed in 3.11.7.

  • Sep 17, 2026vm2 versions 3.11.3 through 3.11.6 expose Node.js's host node:sqlite module to code running in NodeVM when that builtin is permitted, either explicitly or throuCVE-2026-92938 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.4

vm2 versions 3.11.3 through 3.11.6 expose Node.js's host node:sqlite module to code running in NodeVM when that builtin is permitted, either explicitly or through builtin: ['*']. The module is wrapped with vm.readonly(), which prevents property assignment but leaves host-authority callables reachable; in addition, the resolver treats any request starting with 'node:' as a core-module request and the runtime strips only one 'node:' prefix, so a sandbox request for 'node:node:sqlite' resolves to the configured node:sqlite entry. Sandboxed code can therefore create an in-memory DatabaseSync with extension loading enabled and call DatabaseSync.loadExtension() on a native library bundled in the untrusted plugin package (path derived from __dirname). SQLite loads the library into the Node.js host process and invokes its native entry point, giving the sandboxed plugin arbitrary native code execution outside the sandbox with the host process's privileges. The issue is fixed in vm2 3.11.7.

  • Sep 17, 2026vm2 3.11.6 is vulnerable to a sandbox escape leading to remote code execution in the host Node.js process.CVE-2026-92937 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckCritical 10

vm2 3.11.6 is vulnerable to a sandbox escape leading to remote code execution in the host Node.js process. The fix for GHSA-m283-3h24-438v is incomplete: the bridge gate at lib/bridge.js:1624 identity-checks only the direct call target when deciding whether to rebuild/sanitise a rejected host Promise value. Registering the rejection handler through Function.prototype.call or .apply indirection (e.g., p.then.call(p, undefined, cb)) makes the intercepted target host Function.prototype.call, so the sanitiser never runs and the raw host error reaches sandbox code with its own properties intact. If an embedder exposes a host-realm Promise to the sandbox (an async host function bridged via the sandbox option, or a NodeVM external module's async method) and that Promise rejects with an Error carrying a non-primitive own property referencing a host object (for example err.detail = process), untrusted code in the sandbox obtains a fully functional proxy to that host object and can execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the host process (e.g., e.detail.mainModule.require('child_process').execSync(...)). The direct p.then(undefined, cb), bind, and Reflect.apply forms are correctly

  • Sep 17, 2026vm2 versions 3.11.0 through 3.11.6 leak absolute host filesystem paths to sandboxed code through error stack formatting.CVE-2026-92936 · Other software · patriksimek · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9

vm2 versions 3.11.0 through 3.11.6 leak absolute host filesystem paths to sandboxed code through error stack formatting. Attacker-supplied code can force the host-realm source transformer to throw a SyntaxError (for example by calling eval with malformed source) and then read the error's .stack property; the bridge forwards the .stack read to the host-realm formatter, bypassing the sandbox-side host-path redaction introduced for GHSA-v27g-jcqj-v8rw. The returned stack string discloses absolute paths from vm2, Node.js internals, and the embedding application's own source tree, along with host function names. Default new VM() and new NodeVM() configurations are affected without any special options, and the issue persists when string eval is disabled because the host-side transformer throws before eval is handled. The impact is information disclosure only; no code execution results. Fixed in vm2 3.11.7.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla2xxx: Fix cs84xx use-after-free on host teardown qla84xx_put_chip() drops the last reference to ha->cs84xx and frees it via __qla84xx_chip_release() without clearing ha->cs84xx. During teardown it ran before scsi_remove_host(), which is what removes the 84xx_fw_version host sysfs attribute. A concurrent read of that attribute in the window between the two calls executes qla24xx_84xx_fw_version_show(), which dereferences the freed ha->cs84xx, resulting in a use-after-free. Move qla84xx_put_chip() to after scsi_remove_host() in both qla2x00_remove_one() and qla2x00_disable_board_on_pci_error(). Once scsi_remove_host() returns, the sysfs attribute is gone and kernfs has drained any in-flight show(), so no reader can touch cs84xx; the put still runs before the host and ha are freed.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla2xxx: Hold vport_slock for host map update in report ID acquisition qla24xx_report_id_acquisition() format-1 handling drops vport_slock after taking the vport reference and then calls qla_update_host_map() without the lock. That reaches qla_update_vp_map(), which mutates the ha->host_map btree via btree_insert32()/btree_update32()/btree_remove32() and is documented to require vport_slock to be held by the caller. Running it unlocked can race concurrent host_map updates and corrupt the btree. The format-2 path in the same function already wraps its host_map update (SET_AL_PA) in vport_slock; the format-1 path is the lone outlier. Hold vport_slock across the format-1 qla_update_host_map() call to honor the documented locking contract. The vref_count taken in the loop keeps the vport valid, so this only adds the missing host_map serialization.

Concrete CMS 9.0.0 to 9.5.2 is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery iremote file import via cross-port reuse of a host's validated DNS pin. When multiple remote URLs share the same host, only the first `ValidatedRemoteUrl` is retained and reused for every later URL with that host. Bugsink is a self-hosted error tracking tool. Prior to version 2.2.2, Bugsink stores every set of custom tags supplied with an incoming event, allowing a caller with a valid project DSN to submit an unusually large tag set and force excessive tag-row writes. Because Bugsink uses a single-writer database architecture, the expensive write transaction delays digestion of other events and causes a temporary ingestion denial of service. Version 2.2.2 applies the configurable MAX_EVENT_TAGS limit before storage. The impact is limited to availability for an instance accepting the event and does not expose stored data, modify existing events, or allow code execution. This issue is fixed in version 2.2.2.

Inspektor Gadget is a set of tools and framework for data collection and system inspection on Kubernetes clusters and Linux hosts using eBPF. From 0.27.0 until 0.53.1, the uprobe library resolver can allow an unprivileged container to consume excessive CPU and block other containers from starting by supplying a crafted /etc/ld.so.cache file while an uprobe-based gadget is active. The parser in pkg/uprobetracer/ldcache_parser.go trusts EntryCount enough to perform excessive iteration, computes cache1Len with overflowing uint32 arithmetic, and repeatedly calls readStringFromBytes in pkg/uprobetracer/bytes.go, where byte-by-byte immutable string concatenation produces quadratic work. While this processing occurs, pkg/container-hook holds the fanotify container-start pause, allowing a crafted cache to delay startup for roughly a minute, prevent Docker from starting other containers, and degrade monitoring. Processing caches from already-running containers can still consume CPU but does not hold the new-container startup pause, and the advisory establishes no confidentiality or integrity impact. This issue is fixed in version 0.53.1.

Inspektor Gadget is a set of tools and framework for data collection and system inspection on Kubernetes clusters and Linux hosts using eBPF. From 0.28.0 until 0.53.1, the USDT note parser in pkg/uprobetracer/usdt.go can allow an unprivileged container to crash or exhaust the memory of the privileged Inspektor Gadget process when a custom gadget containing a SEC("usdt/...") eBPF section attaches to a crafted ELF binary. The getUsdtInfo() function reads the .note.stapsdt section without validating that DescSize is large enough for three address fields, allowing an out-of-bounds slice operation to panic, and it uses untrusted NameSize and DescSize values for allocations that can consume gigabytes of memory. The parser also invokes debug/elf without panic recovery, allowing other malformed ELF structures to terminate the process. No gadget shipped by Inspektor Gadget uses USDT probes, so only deployments using custom USDT gadgets are affected, and the demonstrated impact is denial of service rather than code execution or privilege escalation. Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition in Slab safeurl allows an attacker who controls a hostname's DNS responses to reach internal network destinations that validation rejected. Validation returns a verdict and not the address it approved, so the HTTP clients the library ships receive the original hostname and resolve it a second time when the request is made. An attacker who controls the authoritative DNS for a name can answer the first lookup with a permitted address and the second with a blocked one, and the request then reaches a destination validation never approved. The ITE it51xxx I2C driver, when operating as an I2C target (slave) in buffer mode (CONFIG_I2C_TARGET + CONFIG_I2C_TARGET_BUFFER_MODE), copies host-supplied write data into the fixed-size data->target_in_buffer inside its target FIFO interrupt handler target_i2c_isr_fifo() in drivers/i2c/i2c_ite_it51xxx.c. The copy loop stores to target_in_buffer[i + data->w_index] and only checks data->w_index against sizeof(data->target_in_buffer) after the write has already completed, so the bounds check cannot prevent the overflow. The running index data->w_index accumulates count bytes on every FIFO-fill interrupt of an ongoing transaction and is reset to zero only on a STOP or timeout condition. An I2C host that streams a single write transaction longer than the buffer (default CONFIG_I2C_TARGET_IT51XXX_MAX_BUF_SIZE = 256 bytes) drives data->w_index past the end of the buffer, and each subsequent host byte is written out of bounds into the adjacent data->target_out_buffer and following static device data. The trigger is a malicious or misbehaving I2C master on the same bus (for example a compromised application processor or a rogue device on an exposed I2C bus); no software privilege on the

In OpenStack Glance before 32.0.1, the location API does not validate destination hosts when adding an HTTP location to an image. Unlike the web-download import path, the location API only checks the URL scheme and does not apply the import_filtering_opts host restrictions. An authenticated user can add a location pointing to internal endpoints such as the cloud metadata service (169.254.169.254), and retrieve the response by downloading the image data. In Flatpak before 1.18.1, a malicious sandboxed app can obtain arbitrary read and write access to files on the host, which can be escalated to arbitrary code execution on the host, a different vulnerability than CVE-2026-76925. Flatpak creates a few app data directories (e.g., /var/cache, /var/data, /var/config, and /var/tmp) in every sandbox on every app launch where, in some cases, components of the path are attacker-controlled. Missing symlink protection can redirect the directories. Some of these directories are bind-mounted by Flatpak by passing the path (e.g., /home/user/.var/app/APP_ID/cache/tmp), which contains attacker-controlled directories (tmp) to bwrap --bind SRC DST. bwrap passes the path on to the kernel, which then follows symlinks. A malicious symlink can point to arbitrary locations on the host and it will become mounted inside the sandbox.

Dobase is an open-source, self-hosted workspace with installable tools. Versions prior to 2026.06.03 have a one-click stored DOM-based cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the public, unauthenticated shared-folder image gallery. A file's `name` is fully attacker-controlled and is never sanitized. It is round-tripped through an ERB-escaped `data-name` attribute, decoded back to its raw value by `el.dataset.name`, and then re-injected into `innerHTML` by the `public-gallery` Stimulus controller with no escaping. Any authenticated workspace member who can share a Files folder can store a payload; the victim is anyone with the public share link (no authentication required). The global Content-Security-Policy is sent report-only (not enforcing), so an inline `onerror` handler executes — this is an executing XSS, not a CSP-mitigated injection. Version 2026.06.03 fixes the issue.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme-tcp: fix host memory disclosure on R2T for a read command nvme_tcp_handle_r2t() does not check the direction of the request the R2T refers to. A malicious controller can send an R2T for a READ and the host will answer it: nvme_tcp_setup_h2c_data_pdu() builds the H2CData header and nvme_tcp_try_send_data() sends the request's data buffer. That buffer is the READ destination, so its contents go to the controller. The command then completes normally and nothing is logged. Against a test controller that answers every READ with an R2T, a 4096 byte buffered read returned all 4096 bytes, split over two R2Ts. The pages contained stale kernel data, including an array of struct page pointers. Reject an R2T for a request that is not a write.

  • Sep 11, 2026Authorizer is an open-source, self-hostable authentication and authorization server.CVE-2026-54072 · Other software · authorizerdev · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3

Authorizer is an open-source, self-hostable authentication and authorization server. Prior to version 2.2.1, the `/authorize` endpoint accepts any `redirect_uri` without validating it against `AllowedOrigins`. When `response_type=token` or `response_type=id_token`, the server appends `access_token`, `id_token`, and `refresh_token` as query parameters and issues a 302 redirect to the attacker-supplied URL. An unauthenticated attacker can obtain the required `client_id` from the public `/graphql?query={meta{client_id}}` endpoint. A partial fix was applied in v2.0.1 to other handlers (`oauth_login`, `verify_email`, `magic_link_login`, `forgot_password`, `invite_members`, `oauth_callback`) but `/authorize` was not included. Version 2.2.1 contains a more complete fix.

Transmute is a free, open-source, self-hosted file conversion and compression tool. Prior to version 1.3.0, Transmute's URL import endpoint, `POST /api/files/url`, is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF). The HTTP downloader used by this endpoint fetches user-supplied URLs with redirects enabled and does not validate whether the target resolves to a public, external address. As a result, an authenticated user (or guest user if they are enabled) may be able to cause the Transmute server to make HTTP requests to internal or cloud-local resources from the server's network position. Because downloaded content is stored and can later be retrieved through `GET /api/files/{id}`, this issue can result in full-read SSRF rather than blind SSRF. This is fixed in version 1.3.0.

A dynamic channel is assigned its RX CID and added to the connection's channel list while still in BT_L2CAP_CONNECTING (and later BT_L2CAP_CONFIG) — before configuration completes and, for PSMs that require security, before the peer is authenticated (l2cap_br_conn_req()). Because the channel is already findable by bt_l2cap_br_lookup_rx_cid() during this window, a remote peer within radio range can send a data PDU addressed to that CID and have it processed on a not-yet-established channel. The dispatch keys off channel fields (BR_CHAN(chan)->rx.mode, rx.mps) that are only initialized during configuration by l2cap_br_conf(); since channel objects are pooled and bt_l2cap_br_chan_del() does not reset rx.mode or the reassembly buffer _sdu, a reused channel can carry stale state into the CONNECTING window and route the frame into the retransmission/flow-control path (bt_l2cap_br_ret_fc_recv()) with stale parameters and a
