  • Sep 5, 2026Events Manager - Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more!: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2025-14945 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4

The Events Manager - Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more! plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via event attribute values in all versions up to, and including, 7.3.3. This is due to insufficient input sanitization when storing attribute values (using only `wp_unslash()` without sanitization) and lack of output escaping when rendering the '#_ATT{key}' placeholder. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, or unauthenticated attackers when anonymous event submissions are enabled, to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when any user views the affected event page.

  • Sep 4, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ring-buffer: Fix event length with forced 8-byte alignment When RB_FORCE_8BYTE_ALIGNMENT iCVE-2026-80876 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ring-buffer: Fix event length with forced 8-byte alignment When RB_FORCE_8BYTE_ALIGNMENT is true, rb_calculate_event_length() reserves the space of event->array[0] for placing the data length and rb_update_event() stores the data length in event->array[0] accordingly. As a result the whole event length will add extra 4 bytes for sizeof(event.array[0]) unconditionally. But ring_buffer_event_length() only subtracts the sizeof(event->array[0]) for events larger than RB_MAX_SMALL_DATA + sizeof(event->array[0]). As a result, small events on architectures with RB_FORCE_8BYTE_ALIGNMENT=true report a data length that is 4 bytes larger than expected. To fix it, add the RB_FORCE_8BYTE_ALIGNMENT as a condition to subtract the size of that length field whenever RB_FORCE_8BYTE_ALIGNMENT is true. This issue is observed in a riscv64 kernel with CONFIG_HAVE_64BIT_ALIGNED_ACCESS set to y, when we run ftrace selftest trace_marker_raw.tc, we get the weird log: for cases where the id is 1..100, the number of data field is 8*N, but once id exceeds 100, the number of data field becomes 8*N+4: # 1 buf: 58 00 00 00 80 5e d1 63 (numb

  • Sep 4, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse: wait for FR_FINISHED on abort_on_kill to prevent use-after-free The abort_on_kill paCVE-2026-80857 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse: wait for FR_FINISHED on abort_on_kill to prevent use-after-free The abort_on_kill path in request_wait_answer() calls fuse_abort_conn() and returns without waiting for FR_FINISHED. If fuse_dev_do_write() is concurrently processing the same request (FR_LOCKED set), the caller frees req->args while it is still being accessed, causing a use-after-free. Fix this by jumping to the existing wait_event(FR_FINISHED) instead of returning early. The wait will not hang because fuse_abort_conn() ensures all requests are ended.

  • Sep 4, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: magicmouse: prevent unbounded recursion in magicmouse_raw_event() magicmouse_raw_evenCVE-2026-80783 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: magicmouse: prevent unbounded recursion in magicmouse_raw_event() magicmouse_raw_event() handles DOUBLE_REPORT_ID (0xf7) packets, which pack two touch reports into one, by splitting the packet and calling itself on each half. The only guard against runaway recursion is a "size < 1" check, which stops zero-sized calls but does not bound the recursion depth. A malicious HID device that matches this driver can send a report starting with DOUBLE_REPORT_ID and filled with the sequence [0xf7, 0x00]. Each level consumes two bytes and recurses on the remainder, so an incoming report of up to HID_MAX_BUFFER_SIZE (16 KiB) drives roughly 8000 nested calls. That easily exhausts the 16 KiB kernel stack, leading to a stack overflow: a panic with CONFIG_VMAP_STACK, or memory corruption without it. A double report only ever wraps two normal reports; it is never legitimately nested. Refuse to re-enter the DOUBLE_REPORT_ID case from a recursive call so the recursion depth is bounded to two, while all valid packets keep being parsed exactly as before.

  • Sep 4, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_event: validate LE Set CIG Parameters response The Command Complete dispatcCVE-2026-80763 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_event: validate LE Set CIG Parameters response The Command Complete dispatch validates only the fixed part of the LE Set CIG Parameters response. After that part is pulled from the skb, hci_cc_le_set_cig_params() trusts num_handles and reads each entry in the trailing handle array. Matching num_handles against the command's num_cis does not guarantee that the response contains the advertised handles. A truncated response from a malfunctioning controller can therefore make the handler read beyond the skb data. Validate that the remaining skb data contains all advertised handles. Include this in the existing response validation so malformed responses also follow the established CIG failure handling.

  • Sep 4, 2026An incorrect authorization vulnerability in MISP allowed authenticated users to delete attributes from events despite lacking the required perm_modify or perm_mCVE-2026-85538 · Other software · misp · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 8.3

An incorrect authorization vulnerability in MISP allowed authenticated users to delete attributes from events despite lacking the required perm_modify or perm_modify_org permissions. The affected attribute deletion paths relied on organization membership checks performed by MispAttribute::deleteAttribute() but did not consistently enforce MISP's event modification authorization rules. Consequently, a user belonging to the organization associated with an event could potentially delete individual attributes or perform bulk attribute deletion even when their assigned role was not authorized to modify the event. This created an inconsistency between attribute editing and deletion: editing an attribute correctly used MISP's ACL::canModifyEvent() authorization logic, whereas the affected deletion operations could bypass these permission checks. An authenticated attacker with access to an affected MISP instance and membership in the organization owning an event could exploit this flaw to remove attributes from that event, potentially causing unauthorized modification or loss of threat intelligence data. The patch introduces a common authorization check for all affected deletion paths.

  • Sep 3, 2026A vulnerability in MISP's event template handling allowed an authenticated user with permission to create or modify event templates to bypass validation of the CVE-2026-85239 · Other software · misp · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 7.1

A vulnerability in MISP's event template handling allowed an authenticated user with permission to create or modify event templates to bypass validation of the template definition field. The EventTemplate::beforeValidate() method only performed semantic validation when the supplied definition was already represented as an array. If a caller instead supplied a pre-encoded string, including malformed JSON or JSON representing an unexpected data type, the value bypassed validateDefinition() and only needed to satisfy the generic notBlank validation rule. As a result, an invalid event template definition could be stored persistently in the database. When event templates were subsequently retrieved, EventTemplate::afterFind() attempted to decode the stored definition using JsonTool::decode() without handling decoding failures. A definition containing invalid JSON could therefore trigger an exception during retrieval. Because the event template index is available to all authenticated users, a single malicious or malformed template could make the event template listing and other functionality relying on EventTemplate queries return HTTP 500 errors until the offending database row was ma

  • Sep 3, 2026A cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability existed in the cullEmptyEvents action of MISP.CVE-2026-85236 · Other software · misp · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 8.8

A cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability existed in the cullEmptyEvents action of MISP. The endpoint performed a state-changing and irreversible operation while accepting HTTP GET requests. Because bodyless GET requests are not subject to CakePHP's CSRF validation, an attacker could cause an authenticated MISP user with sufficient privileges to invoke the endpoint simply by causing their browser to load a crafted URL, for example through an embedded image or other automatically requested resource. Successful exploitation triggers the deletion of published empty events. The deletion is particularly significant because the operation uses skipBlocklist, meaning the removed events do not leave blocklist entries that could prevent or track their subsequent synchronization. This can result in unintended and potentially irreversible deletion of MISP event records without explicit user interaction. The vulnerability was addressed by restricting cullEmptyEvents to HTTP POST requests, ensuring that CakePHP's normal CSRF protections are applied to the operation.

MISP contains a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the event attribute filtering query builder. The taggedAttributes and galaxyAttachedAttributes URL parameters were inserted into the query-builder rules without HTML escaping before being serialized as JSON and embedded inside a <script> element. Because JsonTool::encode() uses JSON_UNESCAPED_SLASHES, an attacker-controlled value containing a closing </script> sequence could terminate the surrounding script element and inject arbitrary HTML or JavaScript. For example, a specially crafted viewEventAttributes URL could contain malicious content in one of the affected filter parameters. An attacker could exploit the vulnerability by convincing an authenticated MISP user to follow a crafted URL. Successful exploitation would execute attacker-controlled JavaScript in the security context of the MISP instance and with the privileges of the victim's authenticated browser session. This could allow access to information available to the victim, modification of data through authenticated requests, or other actions permitted by the victim's MISP permissions. The vulnerability is addressed by applying HTML escaping wit

  • Sep 2, 2026Nuclio is a "Serverless" framework for Real-Time Events and Data Processing.CVE-2026-79756 · Other software · nuclio · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

Nuclio is a "Serverless" framework for Real-Time Events and Data Processing. Prior to version 1.17.4, the fix for unauthenticated OS command injection in the nuclio dashboard on the local/Docker platform is incomplete. The fix added validateFunctionName for function names and common.Quote() for the named-resource shell command path, but the list-all resource path (triggered when no specific resource name is provided) still interpolates the resourceNamespace parameter unquoted into a /bin/sh -c command string. An unauthenticated attacker can inject shell metacharacters via the X-Nuclio-Function-Namespace, X-Nuclio-Project-Namespace, or X-Nuclio-Function-Event-Namespace HTTP headers to achieve arbitrary command execution inside the dashboard container. This issue has been patched in version 1.17.4.

The Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar – Amelia (Premium) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in versions 8.0 - 9.6.2. This is due to insufficient validation of the attacker-controlled 'type' parameter in the customer update endpoint, which allows customers to set their role to 'manager' and trigger creation of a WordPress user with the wpamelia-manager role when the 'externalId' parameter is set to 0. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to escalate their privileges to administrator by first elevating to the manager role, then creating a provider entity linked to an administrator user ID and overwriting that administrator's password.

  • Aug 28, 2026plone.app.event provides the event content type for Plone.CVE-2026-55247 · Other software · plone · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

plone.app.event provides the event content type for Plone. Prior to versions 5.2.4 and 6.0.1, the iCalendar import in src/plone/app/event/ical/importer.py accepts insufficiently restricted calendar and event URLs, does not adequately bound downloaded bytes or imported events, and commits work per event. A logged-in editor can make the server request internal network resources or local calendar files, exhaust resources and take the site offline, and store a malicious event URL that executes script in another user's browser. The fix restricts accepted URLs, applies MAXIMUM_ICAL_IMPORT_SIZE_BYTES and MAXIMUM_ICAL_IMPORT_EVENTS limits, uses transaction savepoints, and validates event URLs. This issue is fixed in versions 5.2.4 and 6.0.1.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ptp: vmclock: prevent read-only mappings from becoming writable vmclock_miscdev_mmap() rejects writable mappings of the shared vmclock ABI page with -EROFS, but leaves VM_MAYWRITE set. Userspace can map the page read-only and then upgrade it to writable with mprotect(), after which the guest can corrupt the host-written timekeeping data (sequence counter, UTC time, TSC offset) that the vmclock ABI defines as read-only. Clear VM_MAYWRITE on the read-only path so the mapping cannot be upgraded, as i915 does for its read-only objects and as fixed in drm/vc4 (CVE-2026-68445) and drm/panthor (CVE-2024-53071).

Add a bounds check that logs an error and skips the excess regions, restoring the original behavior.

  • Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ufs: core: tracing: Do not dereference pointers in TP_printk() The trace events in driversCVE-2026-80661 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ufs: core: tracing: Do not dereference pointers in TP_printk() The trace events in drivers/ufs/core/ufs_trace.h were converted to take a pointer to the hba structure as an argument for the tracepoint and then in TP_printk() the printing of the dev_name from the ring buffer was converted to using the dev dereferenced pointer from the hba saved pointer. This is not allowed as the TP_printk() is executed at the time the trace event is read from /sys/kernel/tracing/trace file. That can happen literally, seconds, minutes, hours, weeks, days, or even months later! There is no guarantee that the hba pointer will still exist by the time it is dereferenced when the "trace" file is read. Instead, save the device name from the hba pointer at the time the tracepoint is called and place it into the ring buffer event. Then the TP_printk() can read the name directly from the ring buffer and remove the possibility that it will read a freed pointer and crash the kernel. This was detected when testing the trace event code that looks for TP_printk() parameters doing illegal derferences[1] [1] https://lore.kernel.org/all/2026063

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: soc: xilinx: Fix race condition in event registration The zynqmp_power driver registers handlers for suspend and subsystem restart events using register_event(). However, the work structures (zynqmp_pm_init_suspend_work and zynqmp_pm_init_restart_work) used by these handlers were allocated and initialized after the registration call. This created a race window where, if the firmware triggered an event immediately after registration but before allocation, the callback (suspend_event_callback or subsystem_restart_event_callback) would dereference a NULL pointer in work_pending(), leading to a crash. Fix this by allocating and initializing the work structures before registering the events.

This code uses the "found" variable to determine if we have found the doorbell we are looking for or not. However, the problem that the "found" variable needs to be set to false at the start of each iteration, otherwise after the first correct doorbell, then everything is marked as found. Reset the "found" to false at the start of the iteration and move the variable inside the loop.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: picolcd: prevent NULL pointer dereference in picolcd_send_and_wait() In picolcd_send_and_wait(), an integer overflow of the signed loop counter 'k' can theoretically lead to a NULL pointer dereference of 'raw_data'. • Aug 28, 2026Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar – Amelia: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-6286 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar – Amelia plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via customer name fields in versions up to and including 2.2. This is due to an authentication bypass where the AddBookingCommand explicitly skips nonce verification (Command.php line 186), allowing unauthenticated users to submit booking data. While the plugin applies sanitize_text_field() to customer firstName and lastName fields (BookingApplicationService.php lines 302-308), this function only removes HTML tags and preserves special characters including double quotes. The vulnerability manifests in the administrative Calendar view where a FullCalendar eventContent callback interpolates customer names directly into JavaScript template literals (redesign/dist/index.js line 199) and renders them via innerHTML without proper HTML entity encoding. Because double quotes are preserved, an attacker can inject payloads like '" onmouseover="alert(document.cookie)"' to break out of the title attribute and inject malicious event handlers. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts that will execute when an administrator accesse
