Why “exploited” matters. Most published flaws are never used. This one is on the list the U.S. government’s cybersecurity agency keeps of flaws it has evidence attackers are using against real systems; federal agencies have to fix it by September 5, 2026. Treat it as today’s job, not this month’s.
Check your own setup
- Website check: reads what your site runs from the outside (WordPress version, plugins it can see, old server software) and matches it against this database.
- Server check: what your web server says about itself, and whether that version has known flaws.
