CVE-2026-39901

monetr is a budgeting application focused on planning for recurring expenses.

monetr is a budgeting application focused on planning for recurring expenses. Prior to 1.12.3, a transaction integrity flaw allows an authenticated tenant user to soft-delete synced non-manual transactions through the transaction update endpoint, despite the application explicitly blocking deletion of those transactions via the normal DELETE path. This bypass undermines the intended protection for imported transaction records and allows protected transactions to be hidden from normal views. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.12.3.

If your business uses monetr, install the vendor's update. If you're not sure whether you use it, ask whoever manages your computers.

How likely is an attack? The Exploit Prediction Scoring System, run by FIRST (the global association of security response teams), puts the odds of this one being exploited in the next 30 days at 0.29%, higher than 21% of CVEs. That’s low, but low isn’t zero, and the odds jump the day someone publishes an exploit. Scored November 3, 2026, updated daily.

Check your own setup

  • Website check: reads what your site runs from the outside (WordPress version, plugins it can see, old server software) and matches it against this database.
  • Server check: what your web server says about itself, and whether that version has known flaws.
