Oct 16, 2026Coinsnap Bitcoin Crowdfunding: Does not restrict access to the secret used to authenticate its payment gateway webhookCVE-2026-92427 · affects up to 1.2.0 · reported by WPScanMedium 5.3
The Coinsnap Bitcoin Crowdfunding WordPress plugin through 1.2.0 does not restrict access to the secret used to authenticate its payment gateway webhook, disclosing it to unauthenticated users and rendering the webhook's signature check ineffective. This allows unauthenticated attackers to forge payment-confirmation notifications and record arbitrary donations as completed, with attacker-chosen amounts, donor names and messages.
Versions are matched against the affected ranges published with each record. A plugin can ship a fix under its own numbering, so if something looks off, check the linked record. Want the whole site checked at once? Run the free website check.
