Fort Jackson graduations
Fort Jackson trains a large share of the Army’s new soldiers, and families travel to Columbia for graduations most weeks of the year. They’re searching for hotels, restaurants that can seat a family, and things to do between ceremonies, from far away and often for the first time. A page or post aimed at graduation families, with directions, timing and group seating, answers exactly what they’re looking for.
The rest of the week
State government, the university and the hospitals give Columbia a steady weekday crowd of workers who want lunch fast and a reliable spot after work. Keep weekday hours, lunch menus and online ordering current; that’s the business that carries the weeks without a home game.
