Websites for funeral homes and crematories

Websites for funeral homes, there for families at any hour.

A family reaches your website at 2 AM, from a hospital parking lot, on a phone, after the hardest call of their week. It has to load instantly, read clearly for an older eye, and put your number where a thumb can find it. We build funeral home websites around that moment, and we move you off your old site without losing a single obituary link a family has shared.

Funeral homes

What a funeral home's site owes a family.

Readable, at any hour, on any phone

Large, high-contrast type that passes the accessibility standard, pages that load in a second on a weak signal, and nothing moving on the screen. Many of your visitors are older, grieving and on a phone. The site respects all three.

The call, one tap away

Your number follows the visitor down every page, with the after-hours line where it belongs. A family should never have to search a page for how to reach you.

Obituaries that keep their links

Every obituary a family has posted on social media or emailed to relatives keeps working after the new site launches. We map every old address to its new home, and we test them before anything goes live.

Running in Pierpoint: 160 of 160 old links kept

Service details families can trust

Hours, locations, directions, livestream links and what to bring, written once and kept current. One set of hours on the whole site, never two versions of the truth on two pages.

Pre-planning that's easy to start

A quiet page for pre-arrangements with a form that works, so a family can begin the conversation on their own terms and you follow up.

Changes the same day

A service time moves, a staff member joins, a location's hours change for a holiday. Text it, and it's live that day. That's included in the care plan, not billed by the hour.

Housecall Auto Mechanics

A mobile mechanic's site, moved off Wix without losing a link and sitting at the top of Google's local results for mobile mechanic in Myrtle Beach.

A clean move off Wix. Nameservers moved, every email record copied exactly, the TLS certificate issued, and every old page address kept or redirected, so nothing Google had indexed broke.

02

Local SEO that does its job. LocalBusiness structured data, a clean sitemap, his existing Search Console verification carried over, and pages written around what people actually search for.

03

Built for a phone at the roadside. Call and text buttons that follow you down the page, plain prices, and a contact form that lands in his inbox.

Who we build for

Built with the care you bring to families.

We build websites for funeral homes, memorial homes and crematories in South Carolina: single-location family businesses and multi-chapel operations alike. Every site is designed for your home and coded by hand, with the dignity of your name in the typography, the photography and the quiet of the page.

The measure of a funeral home's website is how it serves a family on the worst day. That means readable text for older eyes, a page that loads before a nervous thumb gives up, directions that open in the map app, obituary pages that load in a second and share cleanly to social media, and a phone number that is never more than one tap away. It also means email that keeps working through a redesign and old links that never die, because a family's shared obituary link is not something you get to break.

Behind the page is the same engineering we use in our own products every night: fast, secure and built to stay up. When your home is ready for online pre-planning, payments for services or a private portal for families, it grows from the same foundation.

Questions

Straight answers.

Will families' saved obituary links still work after the new site launches?

Yes. Every address on the old site is mapped to its page on the new one before launch, including obituary pages, and we test the list. A link a family shared last year opens the right page on the new site. When Pierpoint Events moved to its new site, all 160 old addresses still landed where they should.

Can obituaries be posted by our staff without calling a developer?

Yes. We build a simple editor that shows only what your staff needs: the obituary, the photo, the service details and the guestbook settings. Posting takes minutes and nothing else on the site can be broken by accident.

Our current site has a livestream and a flower-ordering link. Can those carry over?

Yes. Livestream links, flower and tribute partners and guestbooks carry over or are rebuilt, and we confirm each one with you on the planning call so nothing a family relies on goes missing.

How much does a funeral home website cost?

Business websites start at $5,000. A funeral home site with obituaries, several locations and a staff editor is scoped and quoted in writing after a short planning call, with the exact price and launch date, before anything starts.
