Custom booking systems

Online booking on your own site, without renting someone else's.

Booking apps are a fine start, until you're paying a monthly fee and a cut of every booking, sending customers to someone else's page, and working around rules you didn't write. We build booking into your own website: your availability, your deposits, your reminders, your customer.

Booking systems

What a booking system should do for you.

Real availability

Slots, days or inventory that reflect what you can actually do, including buffers, crew limits and blackout dates, so you never get booked twice.

Deposits and payments

Take a deposit or the full amount at booking, by card, through your own payment account, with refunds handled cleanly.

Reminders that cut no-shows

Confirmation and reminder emails sent from your own domain, with the details the customer needs.

On your calendar

Bookings that land on the calendar you already live in, so your day is in one place.

Book a first call

For practices and consultants: your next open time right on the page, booked in a few taps.

Pierpoint Events

An AVL, DJ, photobooth and rentals company's site, rebuilt from scratch: rentals you can book and pay for online, a page for every venue they've worked, and readable in two seconds on one bar of signal.

01

Designed and built from scratch. No page builder and no template.

02

Rentals you can book and pay for. 43 rentals with written descriptions and day rates, checkout by card or Cash App, and South Carolina and county sales tax worked out from the address, all through the payment account the business already had.

03

A page for every room they've played. 41 venue pages, each linking the venue's own site, six service-area pages and nine planning guides, written around what people search before they book.

Cue

The business behind the booth: a wedding DJ's inquiries, contracts, payments, planning and the live run of show, in one app.

01

Inquiry to last song on one record. Pipeline, Smart Files, contracts, invoices and payments, the couple's planning, and the night's timeline all hang off the same event.

02

A live run of show. On the night, the timeline runs itself: cues, drift against the plan, and the next moment on the DJ's lock screen, Dynamic Island and Apple Watch.

03

Apps for both sides. A business app for the DJ and a separate app for the couple on iPhone, plus the web dashboard.

Who we build for

Appointments, rentals, classes and tours.

We build custom booking systems for the businesses that live on their calendar: rental companies, charters and tours, salons and studios, practices and consultants, contractors scheduling estimates, venues and classes.

Sometimes the right answer is to connect a booking tool you already use, and we'll tell you when it is. When the rules of your business don't fit a generic app, or the fees add up, we build it into your site so the customer, the data and the money stay with you.

Booking is software, not a page, and building software is what we do every day on our own products.

Questions

Straight answers.

Should I build my own booking or use an app?

If a booking app fits your business and the fees don't sting, keep it and we'll connect it to your site. Build your own when the rules don't fit, when the per-booking fees are adding up, or when you want the customer relationship on your own site.

Can customers pay a deposit when they book?

Yes. A deposit or the full amount, by card, through your own payment account, with refunds handled cleanly.

How much does a booking system cost?

Custom systems start at $15,000, depending on the rules, payments and integrations involved. Simple booking added to a website can be less. You get a written quote first.

A website, a booking system, an app, or the thing you've been running out of a spreadsheet for three years. A few lines is plenty.
